01: Some Homecoming
“To the bride and groom,” he finished, trying to look jovial as he avoided her eyes.
“To the bride and groom,” the rest of the room echoed with him. Clapping and cheering followed, and Harry managed his first genuine smile as he gave Ron a hug and pat on the back. Luna beamed up at her husband to be and Harry felt guilty at his mood during one of the most important events of his best friend's life.
Gazing around the room, Harry tried to squelch his horrible mood by conjuring up positive thoughts. Why should he be so unhappy? Here he was, aged twenty-two, still alive, when five years ago he thought he wouldn't live to see his next birthday. Both of his friends were alive and well; that much was evident by Ron's bright smile and Hermione's pleased expression. So many worse things could have happened to him. He shouldn't dwell on it.
But catching her eyes across the room diminished Harry's good thoughts immediately and as he saw her attempt to approach him, his body acted instinctively when he turned on his heel and walked in the opposite direction.

Hermione found him away from the festivities inside the Burrow and outside near the water they used to play in as children. Standing on the bank, she could feel the cold and pain radiating off of him as he gazed up at the stars. Doing what she did best, Hermione stepped up to him and put a hand on his arm.
She said nothing, waited as he acknowledged her with a sad smile. “Can't get past you, can I Hermione?”
“No,” she said quietly, “you can't. What's wrong, Harry?”
Jamming his hands into his pockets, Harry's gaze drifted back up to the stars. “I found out some… some terrible news last week.”
“Last week?” Hermione frowned, wondering what it was that he hadn't bothered to tell her or Ron about it already.
“I didn't want to ruin Ron's party,” he said, catching her thoughts. “I was going to wait to tell you both after the wedding, but I've never been very good at hiding anything, have I? Just look at my attempts to learn occulmency.”
“Harry,” Hermione said softly, cutting off his ramblings. “Just tell me. You know I won't judge you.”
She was startled to hear her friend give a bitter chuckle. “Oh believe me, Hermione,” he told her, “it won't be me who you'll be judging.”
Her eyes sharpened, and she said tentatively, “Ginny?”
Thinking of his ex-girlfriend, Harry's eyes turned dark. “Yes. Ginny. It's all very simple, really. She cheated on me.”
“What?” Of all the things for Ginny to do, that was quite possibly the most unimaginable. After years of worshipping and adoring Harry, after claiming that it had always been him, how could she be with another man?
“I know,” he gave another cold chuckle. “But it's true. She did. And I doubt I ever would have found out too, except for one little detail…”
“Ginny?” He had just returned home from a long Quidditch tour. Right now all he needed was three things; a hot shower, a nice meal, and his girlfriend. The latter was his top priority at the moment, and he couldn't wait to see her. Three months without her had really been too long.
“Is… is that you, Harry?” Immediately, Harry sensed something was wrong. Her voice was tinged with an odd tone and as she descended from the upstairs, her eyes were anxious and guilty.
Narrowing his own green eyes, Harry frowned at her. “What's wrong, Ginny?”
“Nothing, I…” Her eyes darted around frantically before landing on him again. The words “I'm two months pregnant” came out in a rush.
But Harry didn't rejoice because he was already doing the math in his head and he has been gone for three months, not two, so he already knows—
“It isn't mine.”
Her head bowed, he could still see her lips mouth “Yes.”
Harry's mind raced for a minute, trying to keep calm and wondering if he wanted to know more. In a very Hermione moment, his curiosity got the better of him. “With who?”
She flinched, but answered the question. “Draco Malfoy.”
His voice, calm and flat, didn't betray his rage. “How many times?”
“Just once,” she whispered. “Just once.” Her breath hitched, she saw her opportunity. “It wasn't planned, Harry! It just happened! I was out with some friends and we had too much to drink and he was there and—”
“Stop.” Harry's breathing was audible now, tense and very controlled and labored. His back was turned, as if he couldn't bear to look at her. “I don't want—I don't want to hear anymore.”
“What do you want me to do, Harry?” Breathed Ginny, her voice laced with hysteria and regret. “I'm sorry! I love you, I didn't want this to happen. I'll get rid of the baby, I'll do anything!”
Harry felt sick at her suggestion. “That's between you and the child's father,” he said quietly. “And the only thing I want for you to do now is to get out.”
“Wh—what?”
“I said, `get out'. I can't look at you right now without wanting to break something and I doubt I can control my magic any longer, so if you know what's good for you, get out.”
He heard her quickly gather a few things and appearate and only then did he let his magic loose, as pictures, tables, and just about anything glass, shattered.
By the end of his story, Harry barely registered two warm arms wrap around him and hug him, as if trying to squeeze the pain out of him. Looking down, he saw Hermione, whose wet cheeks matched his. “I'm so sorry she did this to you,” she told him. “I'm so sorry that you have to go through this pain.”
Harry's arms wrapped around Hermione and he squeezed her as well. He knew that she was hurting because he was and hated that once Ron found out, both of his friends would be in pain.
As she felt Harry's tears trail down from his face and into her hair, Hermione Granger's mind kicked into high gear, planning what she was going to do the next day. And at the top of the list was a visit to one Draco Malfoy.

Comments: After abandoning this story for over a year, I suddenly had the urge to go back and finish it…. and then I re-read it. The first draft that I posted here really, really, really, really sucked and so I am in the process of editing. I have two other stories at different sites, so updates will be far and in between, but one day this story will be finished.
So hopefully this will be better. Until next time!
The Walls of My Life: Like Shattering Glass
Heartbreaking Explanations
Chapter Two
The change in Harry was rather remarkable. He had gone from being elated, to shocked, to downright mad.
But when Harry was mad, you could expect two reactions: a reaction we will call “The Ron Reaction” where you basically… pull a “Ron”. You yell, scream, kick things, say things you end up regretting, and then go get drunk to forget about it. The second reaction is what we shall refer to as “The Slytherin Reaction”. This has a better effect than “The Ron Reaction” because you are so royally pissed off, and yet so calm, the person you are upset at knows that they only have a few seconds before they are dead. You glare and your eyes go black, you clench your knuckles until they turn white, and when you talk, it comes out in a hiss or a growl, or something equally horrifying.
And I'm sorry to say that Harry pulled a “Slytherin Reaction”, not “The Ron Reaction” because we all agree that would have been much more amusing to see.
But I digress.
“So?” Harry said, his voice low, gravelly, and dangerous. “If not mine, than which bastard fathered your child?” You whore, he added on in his head. He decided that now was not the time to break out the soap opera theatrics.
Ginny flinched at the term “bastard” but said, quietly, not looking at him… “Draco Malfoy.”
Harry's fists clenched and turned whiter, if that was possible. He stayed silent for a moment, just focusing on breathing in and out.
He felt like he had just been punched in the stomach. He certainly didn't plan on him coming home to the supposed-love-of-his-life saying, “Oh hi honey, I missed you… guess what? I'm pregnant. With your biggest rival from school's child. Welcome home!”
Ginny looked scared out of her mind.
And then, finally,
“When?”
Ginny took a deep breath. “Two months ago, obviously.”
“Where?”
“…At a hotel.”
Classy, Harry thought, but then realized it could've been worse. It could've been in their bed.
Finally,
“Why?”
Ginny didn't meet his eyes.
“I don't know, really. I had a crush on him back at Hogwarts, but I never did anything about it. It would've been unacceptable. And eventually it faded away… or so I thought.
“I had gone to Hogsmeade to do some shopping, and stopped in at The Three Broomsticks. There he was, looking depressed. He had… vulnerability on his face. Real emotion. I felt sorry for him, so I approached him and we talked… he wasn't drunk or anything, but he did have some firewiskey. We had left the place by then, and were wandering through town… we had walked so far, we were into a muggle town. He invited me to dinner, and I figured, why not? Dinner was great, and after that we talked some more. We talked about Hogwarts, and I admitted that I had a crush on him `til sixth year and he said that he had admired me as well. But his father was alive then, and he said that he wanted to, but couldn't act on his feelings. And then… he kissed me.”
Harry flinched, but said nothing.
Ginny continued. “After that… things got out of hand and… you know.”
Harry's eyes, blacker than the sea at night, raged with fury. But his voice, calm and cold, asked, “How many times have you slept with him?”
“Once,” Ginny whispered. “After that, I told him that we couldn't let it happen again—I was with you, and that even though I was attracted to him, it was you I love.” She fell silent again, waiting. “It's always been you.”
Harry did a very Hermione-thing then and went over what she said, debating whether or not to forgive her. A few awkward minutes later, he reached a verdict.
“Get out.”

Lean on Me
Chapter Three
“Wh-what?” Ginny couldn't believe it.
“I said,” Harry repeated, clenching his teeth, “Get. Out.”
“But… but…” Ginny really thought he would take her in. She said she loved him, didn't she? That sleeping with Dra—Malfoy, meant nothing to her… right?
Harry's eyes narrowed. “You really didn't think I'd let you stay, after you cheated on me by sleeping with my former rival, whose son you're having? Really, Ginny.”
“But I love you,” she whispered.
“Oh yeah?” He raised an eyebrow and his voice and manner were cold. “You should have thought of that before you slept with him.”
He turned and started to walk away.
“Where are you going?” Ginny called out.
“I'm going for a walk for two hours. When I come back,” his voice dropped. “I want you gone.”
“But where will I go?” She cried out as he grabbed his cloak.
He opened the door and paused. “That's not my problem.”
And he left.
Once he was gone, he immediately went to a muggle park near his aunt and uncle's old house. He had no idea how they were doing—ever since his defeat of Voldemort he had no reason to go back there every summer.
He thought of Voldemort and those battles—he still had nightmares about them. So many people died… Moody… Snape….Charlie and George Weasley… all for him… all for humanity…
He still remembered the foul stench of death and the dancing lights of spells. He could remember Ron battling harder than before when Luna had gotten hit and Hermione blocking spells for him at every turn—she wasn't the least concerned about herself.
Harry closed his eyes. He shouldn't have to think about that now. The love of his life had cheated on him… with Draco Malfoy of all people. Oh god… his fists clenched. When he found that bastard he'd… oh god…. There wasn't a spell to cause him enough pain… but then he stopped. It was just as much of Ginny's fault as it was of Draco's, even more so.
Tears started to leak out. He was cursed. He lost everyone he ever loved, even after the war. Death wasn't the only way to lose someone….
Knock knock knock. “Hello?”
It was a female voice and Harry immediately froze. It wasn't Ginny's voice—no, this voice was more lyrical. Soft and sweet as always (well… except when yelling at Ron,) it was clearly Hermione Granger's.
“I'm in here,” Harry called out gruffly.
There was a pause. “Let me in Harry,” she said, gently.
He too paused and sighed. Blast Hermione. She knew him too well.
Harry got up from the floor and opened the door. Hermione took one look at his face and flung her arms around him in a hug. Almost at once the tears came back and he cried into her shoulder. She shut the door and locked it, using more advanced spells that a simple “alohomora” couldn't undo. He looked at her curiously, his face tear-streaked, though they had stopped.
“I think we'll be in here a while,” she whispered to him, smiling a little.
He attempted to smile back, knowing she was right.
“Wouldn't they miss us?” He asked.
“They will, but Ron knows something is up and I told him I'd try and find you,” Hermione explained. “Ron would come but he's…”
“Busy,” Harry finished, understanding completely. “I know.”
They both sank to the floor, their arms still comfortably around each other. They said nothing, merely sitting.
In younger years Hermione would have prodded to see what was wrong. Now she knew that that method would only be used in the most dire of situations. But the best way was just to let him come to her.
Hermione already had a good clue that this was about Ginny—the two obviously hadn't shown up together, and both looked worn and exhausted. Yet she still said nothing.
“As you probably already know,” Harry began, as if able to read her thoughts, “this is about Ginny.” He paused, as if waiting for her to say something, but when she didn't, he continued. “It started when I came home today. I don't know what I was expecting from her Hermione—a nice welcome home, hugs, kisses… but she wasn't even there to greet me at the door. I called for her—she answered—and then she came down.” He gulped.
“I knew something was wrong and told her so. God—she looked so beautiful, Hermione.” The tears started to come back. “And then… she told me… she was pregnant.”
Hermione was surprised at this but still said nothing. “I was so happy, Hermione. I never thought… when I was younger… that I'd live to be a father… but now that I was…” The tears poured down his face now, but he still kept talking as if they weren't even there. “And then,” his voice cracked, “she told me that she was only two months along. And I had been gone three.” The last word was a whisper. “Three months. And that meant…”
The baby isn't yours…Hermione said in her head.
“Oh god Harry,” Hermione's arms tightened around him. “Poor darling.”
It was an interesting choice of words for Hermione there—had she ever called anyone a “poor darling”? But neither commented on it, and Harry continued.
“Do you know whose the child is?” Harry said in a quiet voice.
“Whose?” Hermione whispered.
“Malfoy's,” Harry was trying very hard not sob now. “Draco sodding Malfoy. She slept with one of my worst enemies.”
All of his insecurities seem to come out then. “Why, Hermione? Why did she sleep with him? I asked, sure, but she didn't give me a straight answer. Am I not good enough Hermione? Or am I just cursed? I am cursed. My parents, Sirius… they've all been taken away from me Mione, and I didn't understand why. But now I know: I don't deserve love. I don't,” he ended, seemingly unaware of the never ending tears still streaming down his cheeks.
Hermione's initial shock worn off about hearing about Malfoy and instead she pulled his head with one arm onto her chest. “No, no,” she soothed, tears welling up at her friend's pain. Her fingers ran through his hair consolingly. “Darling, no. Don't ever believe that. You are worth love. Everyone—well, perhaps Voldemort—is. Don't you understand? People died because they loved you. Oh Harry, love is so powerful. Don't you know that by now? Love helped keep you alive and helped you defeat Voldemort. Love is what makes us human. Because you lost so many people you loved it only makes you deserve love more. Don't you know how many people love you? Ron loves you and Luna loves you and Molly and Arthur love you and Fred and George and Bill love you and Dumbledore loves you and I love you…” she trailed off, her fingers still running through his hair, in a gesture she knew soothed him.
“But Ginny doesn't love me,” he whispered, and in his mind, she was the only one that mattered.
Harry thought he was the only person feeling pain that night. But as tears silently slipped down his cheeks, he wasn't even aware that there was wetness in his own hair.
The wetness was from Hermione's cheeks now; she was crying because of the new ache in her chest, half of it from her broken-hearted friend, and half of it from her own broken heart.
You see, Hermione was dating the one and only Draco Malfoy.

The Walls of My Life: Like Shattering Glass
Chapter Four
A Troubling Breakup
“So, how was it?” A certain blonde-haired, former Slytherin asked his girlfriend.
“How was what?” Hermione asked, absently twirling spaghetti around her fork. Ever since she found out it was Draco who had gotten Ginny pregnant, her heart shattered.
Even though they had only been going out for roughly two and a half months, it was something both anticipated since seventh year.
You see, it was seventh year when it was revealed that Draco Malfoy was, like Professor Snape, a spy. A spy for the good side.
Draco was tired of taking his father's orders. The Malfoy in him—the Malfoy that his father no longer possessed—refused to be told any longer how he should live his life. When he finally met Voldemort summer before seventh year, afterwards he had thought him pathetic and petty. This led to Draco questioning his life and who he had become. And the thing was, he didn't like who he was, and, with the determination of a Gryffindor, he set out to change himself, the first thing being switching sides.
He became a vital part of the Order, and Hermione developed respect for him. For even though outwardly he still insulted her, one look in his apologetic gray eyes and she knew he was sorry he had to.
Although they never admitted it aloud, it was obvious that both wanted to be more than friends—it was then the final battle happened and it was revealed to all that Draco Malfoy was on the light side.
Luckily, he had survived the final battle but was immediately taken into hiding. Though Voldemort was defeated, there were still many death eaters around, all hunting for either the Boy-Who-Lived, his sidekicks, or Draco Malfoy for betraying them.
Only now was it safe to come out of hiding. Most of Voldemort's inner circle was now in Azkaban. That and Draco pleaded with Dumbledore to finally let him live his life after 5—5! years in hiding.
It was then that Draco learned that his mother had gone insane. The imperious curse had been placed on her for a good ten years—a mere year before the final battle—and her brain could no longer function by itself. When it was finally taken off of her, she started to babble about nothing and do other insane things.
It killed him inside and that was how Ginny Weasley found him—in a bar, drinking his heart out.
Now, he knew full well about the little Weasley's crush on Potter from his second year, and he knew of their relationship, but at that moment, he didn't give a shit.
Before he joined the Order, he was rather infatuated with the youngest Weasley. She was fiery, independent… and she had red hair. He was always a sucker for redheads.
Once he met Hermione though, his little crush took a backseat but when he saw Ginny again… all of that resurfaced.
So, with quite a bit of alcohol in his system and a broken heart, he slept with Ginny.
The next day though, his heart was in for another nasty shock: Ginny told him that she was deeply involved with Harry (though he already knew that, it still hurt,) and the night before had been a mistake. That was one big blow to Draco's ego and pride.
He was furious with himself—stooping so low as to having sex with another man's girl.
One day, while wandering around Diagon Alley, looking for a place to live, he came across Hermione—in a bookshop, respectively.
From there they immediately bonded, and his thoughts and anger about the liaison with Ginny were nearly obliviated.
He never told Hermione about Ginny though, as he told her what he had been up to the past five years because 1) it didn't matter 2) he didn't want his arse kicked by Potter and 3) he really really didn't want to think about it.
Of course, sitting at the little Italian restaurant, he had no idea that Hermione knew about him and Ginny.
“Something on your mind love?” He asked affectionately. He finally felt that his life was turning around. When he was with her, he felt different—he felt like he was a better person. Perhaps that was why Potter and Weasley always hung around her.
“No,” Hermione lied. “Just thinking about the party.”
“Something happen there?” He frowned.
Hermione sighed. She was going to have to break up with him. He obviously didn't know about Ginny being pregnant otherwise he would've initiated it, but since he didn't, Hermione felt that it was up to her.
Too bad it was breaking her heart.
Draco Malfoy had changed for the better—physically and emotionally. He was very handsome—especially now that he didn't gel his hair, instead letting it grow so it nearly was in his eyes. He was also a nicer person, finally free of his father's clutches. Although he never had an imperious curse on him, he still lived his life in fear when his father was alive.
“Well…” she said slowly, “it made me… realize something.”
“Realize what?” He said patiently.
Damn it, she couldn't do this! Not when he was being so patient and gentle with her!
“I realized,” she took a deep breath. “That we should break up.”
“What?!” To say Draco was surprised would be an understatement. “Why?!”
Hermione remained as calm and impassive as ever—a trait she learned from him. “I think that our lives are going to go… in different directions, and that it's better if we separate now.”
Draco frowned, incredulous and unbelieving. “You don't really believe what you're saying, do you?”
Hermione did believe it; in fact, she knew it was true. “I do believe what I'm saying.” Hermione stood up, wanting to get out of there as fast as she could. “It was wonderful while it lasted, but I really don't see us going anywhere in the future.” She looked at him and her face softened a little at his heartbroken face. “I really am sorry. I wish…” she said very softly, “I wish I could be with you.”
And she apparated, leaving Draco heartbroken… again.
But as if on cue, a dark brown owl flew in, leaving a note on his table. As if in a daze, Draco picked it up and read it.
Draco,
We need to talk. It's extremely important and I would like to meet with you ASAP. Please reply with a date, place, and time that would be reasonable with you.
--Ginny

Author's Note: All right, so I made a bit of a cliché by having Draco “suddenly” turn good. But, I guess he isn't so good if he knowingly slept with another man's girl, eh? Although, he technically wasn't cheating on Hermione, so don't get too upset.
Anyway, thanks for all of the reviews!!
The Walls of My Life: Like Shattering Glass
Bad Boy vs. Prince Charming
Chapter Five
“What's this about, Ginny?” Draco demanded, note in hand.
The two had met at a muggle park, the very same one that Harry had gone to once he found out Ginny was pregnant. It was twilight on a Thursday evening, and both had agreed to meet after they got off of work.
Ginny said nothing, taking out her wand and pointing it at her uterus, mumbling something Draco couldn't hear. Then, she pointed the wand at him and mumbled, “Encinta.” A puffy cloud that was blue let out from the wand and words wrote themselves in the air.
Status: Pregnant
Mother: Ginerva Weasley
Father: Draco Malfoy
Notes: One healthy fetus; boy, about two months and one week along.
Draco paled. (And as author, I must add that this is quite a feat for Draco, who is about as fair as they come.) “Holy fucking shit.”
“Exactly,” Ginny released the breath she was holding.
Draco swallowed. “Does Potter know?”
Ginny nodded.
Suddenly, it all made sense to Draco. Why Hermione broke up with him. It was obvious that Potter told Hermione who in turn broke up with him. What had she said to him?
“I think that our lives are going to go… in different directions, and that it's better if we separate now.”
Oh shit. She had known. Well, if nothing else, at least it was one less situation he would have to get himself out of. It still hurt, though; he had never felt that way about anybody, except perhaps the Weaslette herself.
“What are we going to do Draco?” Ginny whispered fearfully.
“What are we going to do?” He repeated. “Damn it, Ginny, you know full well what we're going to do. We're going to get married and raise this kid.”
“Oh…” Ginny said in a small voice.
“What? Were you seriously considering adoption? Or… abortion? No son of mine is ever going to be adopted or aborted, you hear me? I made a lot of mistakes Ginny, most of my childhood being the bulk of it, but I am not running from this. And I'm not going to let you run from it either.”
“Oh, Draco,” Ginny sobbed, suddenly feeling like a little girl again. He opened his arms up to her and embraced her, kissing her hair as he thought that even if it wasn't how he wanted his life to go, perhaps everything would be all right.
Now if he could just survive telling her family….

Note: I seriously considered ending it right there, but I figured that my chapters ARE way too short, and since I'm not willing to post multiple chapters at a time, so on with the story!
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
“Hey, you okay?”
Damn it, Harry was home.
“Yeah, I'm fine,” Hermione tried to subtly wipe away a few tears she had spent crying over Draco. After Harry's story, Hermione was postive that Draco hadn't cheated on her… although that meant that they had gotten together roughly two weeks after Draco and Ginny… she didn't want to think about that.
“No, you're not,” Harry sighed. He no longer wanted to live in his old house with Ginny, so Hermione let him move in with her until he could find a flat of his own. “Tell me what's wrong, Hermione. Please? I've had enough secret-keeping for a lifetime.”
“You're not going to like it, Harry,” Hermione whispered.
“As long as it doesn't have to do with Ginny, I think I'm good,” Harry said with a smile.
Hermione flinched. Harry paled.
“Oh geez,” Harry sat down. “What is it?”
Hermione bit her lip. It was now or never. “The night you told me about Ginny and Draco… I knew what I had to do.”
“What did you have to do, Hermione?” Harry asked patiently, but on the inside, he was anxious.
“I had to break up with Draco.”
Harry blanched. “You… you were going out with Draco?” Harry sat silent for a moment. Then, “That bastard! Cheating on you like that!”
Hermione visibly relaxed. “He didn't cheat on me. I calculated it out, and I believe that Draco and I got together about two weeks after he and Ginny…” she trailed off.
Harry leaned back on the couch and closed his eyes in a defeated manner. “Hermione?”
“Hmm?” Hermione asked, wondering whether or not Harry would be angry at her.
“What is it that he has that I don't?” He whispered. “I mean… first Ginny, and now you. Tell me, what's so special about Draco Malfoy? The boy who constantly teased you and called you a mudblood? I know that he helped us tremendously during the war—and he even saved Remus's life—but I never thought of him as a friend. I never thought of him as anything really. When we talk, it's only civilly, and now I never want to talk to that bastard again. But what makes him so special, Hermione?”
Hermione's heart went out to Harry. Here she thought he'd be mad at her—furious even—and no, he was just defeated. Defeated and confused.
“I don't know, Harry,” Hermione whispered. “To be honest? Draco is mostly just the boy every girl wants to be with sometime or another. He's the bad boy you don't take home, but you're attracted to all the same. He's the boy you want to rebel with, even if for only a short time. That was probably why I was attracted to Draco—me who had never rebelled in her life. Sure, he was the bad boy turned good—that's about as bad boy as I'll ever get—but you always want what you can't have, you know?” She sighed. “But…” she looked over at her best friend. “You know what you are?”
Harry opened his eyes and looked at her, curious. “What? The boy that no one can love? The one that will always be alone?”
Hermione shook her head and wrapped her arms around his waist, cuddling up to him while resting her head on his shoulder. “No, Harry,” she whispered. “You're the popular boy—in a way, you're like Draco as well. Seemingly unattainable. Untouchable. In everyone's eyes you're perfect—smart, athletic, nice, kind, funny, handsome. When people are around you, they might think you're too good to be true, therefore they don't know how to act around you. They make fools of themselves, and at the same time wonder why you never tease them about it, like people like Draco might've done. You're the guy that every girl longs to meet, to love… to marry. Draco may be every girl's bad boy,” she made him look her right in the eye as she finished, “but Harry, you are every girl's dream come true.”

Author's Note: That's what I like to call “fluffy angst”… Anyway, I know that everyone hates Draco and Ginny, but I hoped that you could see that they are both regretting their actions and are willing to take responsibility for what they have done. And with the DHr pairing, that lasted like, less than one chapter so they're just a minor detail in this entire story. It's the HHr that is going to be tricky.
NEXT CHAPTER: The Weasley family finds out. *Rubs hands together* This ought to be fun.
Thanks for everyone's reviews! As always, I want to know what you think!
