A/N: Alright, this is my new story. This is a story based on a TVB drama (TVB is a channel in Hong Kong) called the Seventh Day. If any of you are interested in watching it, then go to mysoju.com/seventh-day/. It was a really great drama. I might not follow the drama exactly, but most of the time I will. By the way, if you plan on watching it, it is in Chinese but it has English subs!! The characters are very OOC in order to make it fit with this, so if you don't like that, then stop right here and turn back. One more thing, this is only about like half of the series, the other half is completely different. You guys will know what I am talking about if you watch it, which I highly recommend!!
Disclaimer (For the rest of the story too): I do not own Harry Potter or any other characters you recognize, they belong to J.K. Rowling. Nor do I own the Seventh Day, it belongs to TVB. Finally, here is the first chapter. But I do own my two OC's though.
Chapter One
“Come on Matthew!” exclaimed Harry Potter, “What are you doing here? We need to get going! Neville and Draco are waiting for us back at the office.”
“I can't, my dad said that I had to work here,” said Matthew.
“What do you mean work here? You are the boss' son for goodness sakes just get someone to fill in for your shift and you're off!” yelled Harry.
“I told you, I can't leave my dad would get mad,” replied Matthew.
“Matthew, do we have to go over this again?” Harry asked tiredly,” You know that working for someone else, and not being the boss will not get us enough money. That's why You, Neville, Draco and I went out to start a business, so we could be the bosses and get rich faster.”
“Alright, I get it,” said Matthew,” I'll go with you”
“C'mon let's go!” yelled Harry excitedly.
“Now?!”
“Yes now!” said Harry as he started to pull Matthew off to go to catch a ferry.
“No, please! Let me stay at your house for one more day Vivian!” begged Hermione Granger desperately,” Just one more day, and I promise that I'll be able to think of an idea for my story!”
“No, I have my shift at my flight attendance job today and plus I don't trust you being alone in my flat,” said Vivian.
“Cho, help me, please!” Hermione begged.
“Sorry Hermione, but I think you deserved it this time, I mean the last time you did use our love lives as ideas for your stories,” said Cho.
“You guys are the worst friends ever, you know that?” asked Hermione.
“C'mon we know that you're only kidding, and hurry up, we need to catch the ferry!” said Vivian hurrying.
“Are you kidding me? I have the worst luck today,” said Hermione,” I can't even buy a bottle of water.”
Hearing this, Harry turned around to the girl he heard say this and,” Here, you can have mine, I'm not really thirsty right now.”
“Thanks, I'll pay you back,” said Hermione.
“No that's okay, it's really no big deal,” said Harry as the bell rang, signaling that the ferry was about to leave, and walked off with Matthew.
“Hermione, let's go!” exclaimed Cho as she and Vivian started to walk to the ferry.
“Alright, I'm coming!” Hermione replied and she too started to hurry to get to the ferry.
“Hermione, where are you?!” exclaimed Lavender over her cell phone,” This is your entire fault that I have to sit here in the office. I was going to take the day off to heal the wounds from my last break up.”
“I am truly sorry, but did Bull Dog (this is the nickname the boss in the drama, because he `barked' at his employees a lot) ask for me?” asked Hermione as she was driving her car to work.
“You're really dead this time; Bull Dog said that if you're not here, you are going to be fired,” said Lavender.
“WHAT!!” yelled Hermione as she suddenly stopped in the middle of the street causing traffic,” Stall him for me! I'll be there really soon!”
“Whoa, that was close,” said Harry as he had to abruptly stop his car, “Lucky that we stopped in time.”
“How are we going to make it back in time to check the merchandise?” asked Matthew alarmed.
“Don't worry, we'll just tell Neville and Draco to check it out,” said Harry as he pulled out his cell phone.
“Hello? Yeah Draco we need you and Neville to check the purses and wallets without us,” said Harry,” There was an accident so we can't make it back in time.”
“There, everything solved,” said Harry as he hung up.
“I knew that you treating me to a lunch wasn't a good thing,” said Lavender,” You were only using this as an excuse to stall time and hide from Bull Dog.”
“C'mon, don't be like that Lav,” said Hermione with her puppy dog face on,” Look! There's an elevator, hurry up!”
“Hey! It's you,” said Harry when he saw Hermione come into the elevator,” What a coincidence.”
“You work here too?” asked Hermione.
“Yeah, I work on the seventh floor, selling things over the internet,” explained Harry,” My name is Harry Potter by the way.”
“My name's Hermione, Hermione Granger,” replied Hermione,” And I work on the fifth floor for a publishing company, they publish my stories that I write.”
“Okay, after selling these out, we will get our profit!” said Harry as he was checking the purses and wallets.
“Oh no,”
“What? What happened?” asked Draco leaning over to see what Harry was looking at.
“These are fake!” exclaimed Harry.
“Neville did you and Draco actually checks these things when you got them?” asked Matthew.
“Of course we did!” said Neville.
“How are we going to sell these now?” asked Draco, “People are going to find out that the things they purchased are fake!”
“Hello?” Harry said to the speaker on his cell after he picked it up when it rang.
“Really that's great, thanks!” Harry said excitedly.
“What?!” Draco, Neville, and Matthew asked at the same time.
“That was Martin, and he said that he would gladly take all of our merchandise if we can get it to him before 3o'clock.” Harry replied.
“Well what time is it now?” asked Daniel.
“2:45” replied Draco.
“Then let's hurry up and get these packed up and deliver them!” yelled Neville.
“Is he gone?” asked Hermione over her cell.
“Yeah, you were right, Bull Dog always go to the restroom at 2:50” replied Lavender over her cell.
“Brilliant, okay, I'm going to be in the office in a few minutes, bye,” said Hermione before she hung up, and went to lock the stall that she thought Bull Dog went in and put an `Out of Order' sign outside the door so no one will go in.
After packing for only five minutes, Harry had to go, so he left Draco, Neville, and Matthew with the packing. When Harry finished, he tried to open the door of the stall but it wouldn't budge, so he tried calling out for help but no one heard him.
“Oh my gosh Hermione, I can't believe you did that!” exclaimed Lavender,” You are going to be in big trouble if Bull Dog finds out.”
“Don't worry, I have a plan, and remember to let him out after 3:30,” said Hermione.
“So what are you going to tell Bull Dog after I let him out?” asked Lavender, curious about her friend's tricky plan.
“Well, I am going to tell him that I came back here for a while, but couldn't find him,” said Hermione,” That way, I will have some time to think up of a story.”
“Story? Hermione I hope that you have a good story to tell me, so I can publish it,” said Mr. Ryan, Hermione's boss walking in.
“Mr. Ryan! Yes my umm...Story!” said Hermione uncertainly.
“C'mon, come into my office and tell me it,” Mr. Ryan said as he and Hermione walked inside his office.
“Well…My story is about a girl named…uhh…Bella, and…Her…Umm boyfriend David!” Hermione said the idea coming to her when she looked outside the window into the office and saw Lavender.
“Bella's boyfriend is always bothering her, and never gives her some time alone, he is constantly annoying her with phone calls and emails,” continued Hermione with the idea building up more,” So one day, Bella couldn't take it anymore and decides that she needs to get him to break up with her, because she didn't want to do it herself. So Bella tries many methods to get him to break up with her, but they always fail.”
“Great! I love that idea, I want you to get the first chapter done as soon as possible!” said Mr. Ryan.
“You're lucky that you got away this time, but I'm still sad because I can never have a boyfriend for more than 4 months,” said Lavender bitterly.
“Well, if a guy can't tell that you are a brilliant and intelligent lady, than he is lost,” said Hermione,” So Lavender, tell me more about it.”
“Okay, he tells me that I am… Hey wait a minute, are you trying to use my love life as a story again?!” asked Lavender.
“No, no, of course not! I am just being a concerned friend,” said Hermione, even though what Lavender said was true.
“Alright,” said Lavender uncertainly but she still proceeded to tell Hermione anyways.
“Well he tells me that I am annoying and … help.” Lavender trailed away.
“Help? He called you help?” asked Hermione really confused.
“No, don't you hear someone calling for help?” asked Lavender as both girls strained their ears to listen more closely, and they did hear someone yell for help. Suddenly Hermione remembered something,” Oh no!” and she ran off.
“Hello?! Who's calling for help!” yelled Hermione as she was near the men's room.
Hearing this, Harry yelled out,” Here! I'm here; someone locked me into this stall!”
Hermione unlocked the stall door, and found Harry,” Thank you so much!” said Harry as he was rushing out of the restroom door.
“There you are!” exclaimed Daniel, followed by Draco and Neville as he found Harry rushing out of the door from the restroom,” Where have you been?!”
“I got locked in the men's room by someone!” explained Harry,” Lucky that she found me and let me out.”
“What's going to happen with our deal with Martin?” asked Neville worriedly,” It's already 3:30!” and they rushed off, leaving Hermione to realize what she did.
“Alright Harry, you don't have to keep talking,” said James Potter after hearing his son talk for a few minutes,” I'll give you $5,000, is that enough?”
“Thank-you dad!” said Harry.
“You know, Harry, I don't need to live in a really big and fancy house,” said James,” Right here where we are living is nice enough.”
“I know, but I want us to live a better life dad,” said Harry,” So you don't have to keep working, and live at home with mom.”
“Let's just hope that you actually do that Harry,” said Harry's little sister, Diana Potter teasingly.
Harry just stuck his tongue out at her.
“Stop playing around you two, and eat,” Lily Potter scolded, even though she was smiling.
Hermione, Lavender, Vivian, and Cho were at a rooftop restaurant eating, while trying to cheer Lavender up.
“Stop thinking about your breakup Lav,” said Cho,” Let the four of us go shopping, and get makeovers, and then there will be a bunch of boys going after you.”
“Cho's right,” Hermione said,” Next time you go out with a boy, call me so I can see if he is good enough or not, then you won't be dumped anymore.”
Instead of being happy, Lavender just started to cry,” Just great, you made her cry again,” said Vivian unhappily,” Hermione, you just don't say the right things at the right times.”
Harry and the others were currently selling purses and wallets on the streets in front of a rooftop restaurant. After a while of standing there and trying to sell the stuff, the guys couldn't get anyone to buy it,
“Harry, this isn't working,” said Matthew.
“That's okay, we'll just go somewhere else and sell them,” replied Harry.
“Well I'm okay with here, I'm just worried about what our other friends will say if they see us like this,” said Draco.
“Alright, how about this,” said Harry,” You guys can go home and rest, and if I manage to sell all of these, I'll just take all the money.”
“That won't be necessary,” said the other three in unison.
“That's right, so hurry up and help me sell these, and then we'll go home,” said Harry.
Lavender brought up a box of small figurines and said,” This is all the things that he gave me,”
“Alright girls, you know what to do,” said Vivian,” Each of us will throw away part of these stuff for her.”
“If the old won't go away, then the new won't come,” said Cho as she threw away a small stuffed bear.
“In life, there are more than one handsome guy,” said Hermione as she was about to pick up a small glass swan, but Lavender prevented her from doing so.
“Please, you can throw all the others away, but you can't throw this one,” said Lavender pleadingly.
“No” said Hermione.
“You can't throw it!” said Lavender as she and Hermione started to fight over the small figurine.
“Let go, you can't do this Lav!” Hermione said as she and Lavender stood up, still trying to pull the figurine away from each other.
“C'mon, let go of it you guys!” yelled Cho, and both Lavender and Hermione let the little swan go, and it flew over the roof.
All four girls went over to the side to look down.
“Hey! Are you guys trying to kill someone?” asked Harry alarmed, Hermione turned around and slid to the ground when she saw that it was Harry.
“Lavender?” asked the girl standing down there that was looking at the purses.
“Nikki!” exclaimed Lavender.
“Did you throw that down?” asked Nikki, Lavender's cousin.
“It wasn't me, it was someone from one of the apartments, they are always throwing stuff down, right guys?” said Lavender.
Both Vivian and Cho nodded.
Harry turned around just in time to see someone trying to pickpocket from Nikki's purse,” Thief!” Harry yelled out, and the robber ran off taking Nikki's purse with him, and Nikki ran after the guy too. Draco, Matthew, and Neville grabbed the boxes full of stuff and ran off, but Harry tripped and his knee hit the broken glass of the swan.
Seeing what happened, Lavender and the others ran down. When Hermione came out she saw Harry crouching on the ground holding his knee that was bleeding.
“Oh, it's you again,” said Harry clearly surprised.
“Are you okay?” asked Hermione.
“You're always helping, you're like an angel watching over me or something,” said Harry smiling as Hermione was helping him up.
“Well I hope that you are okay,” said Hermione smiling back at him.
Wow! That was the longest piece of writing I have ever written, and I mean literally. 9 pages is like my record. Anyways, if you guys decide to watch the drama, you will likely notice the difference. I know the ending was like really weird but that's the best I could've done with it, and I know that some parts in the chapter is weird too, but give me a break, I am a new author. The next chapter will take a while to come out since my finals are this week, and on the first day, I have two of my hardest (Mandarin and English), so please understand what I am going through. I know that a lot of you went through this too, and probably are. One last thing, please help me by leaving a review! It will only take a sec, and if I get a lot of them, the next chapter might come out faster if you guys are interested in reading it.
