Chapter 1:Star-crossed Lovers Meet At Last
As you read my tale of a forbidden love, you’ll see that it is I, Virginia; or known as Ginny
Weasley; is the one who is telling you my tale of a story to you.
As you may or may not know, it is because of my forbidden love to where I am today.
Where am I, you ask?
I am as far away from my family than I thought I’d ever be. They have no clue as to where I am, but
I will tell you. I am on a deserted island that my husband has enchanted every inch of it, to my
satisfaction.
Who is my husband, you ask?
My husband is none other than Draco Malfoy. We have a daughter, Virginia Rose and another child on
the way.
Again you ask, why are you on a deserted island? Why are you away from your family and
friends?
All in good time will these questions be answered, I promise you.
First, let me say that Voldemort is dead, really dead. But also, is my father, Arthur Weasley.
He died saving Harry and Ron’s lives. The last thing he said to them was, “Take care of our sweet
fiery angels.”
By that he meant, my mum and I.
I never wanted to admit that he was dead; I still never did until after my seventh year at
Hogwarts.
At the time, I was in Flourish and Blotts, picking up a few things for Mum in Diagon Alley. I
was looking at some books when I turned and rammed straight into a hard, muscular chest. (And if
you must know, it was Draco’s that I rammed into.)
“Better watch it next time Weasley,” Draco snarled coldly as he looked into my eyes.
Coldly, I stared back into his eyes.
“Why should I? You were the one who was so close to me. Which by the way, is very questionable;
why were you so close to me?” I asked, knowing that I had just won this argument, even before it
started.
I cornered him.
I had him right where I wanted him.
He had no choice.
None other than to wave the white flag before my very eyes.
He stared into my eyes for a minute before speaking…
For a future reference, remember that it was Draco, Draco Malfoy, who had captured my heart and
swept me off my feet; was the one who my heart had fallen for many moons ago.
He still loved me. I could see it in his eyes. There was no doubt about it. I found myself
staring into his eyes and losing myself in his gaze. The way he looked at me, the reason why he
came so close to my body; all because he still loved me.
What do you mean by still, you ask?
For that answer, he was the one who held me when I grieved for the death of my father; He was
the one who promised me that if fate wanted us to be together, then fate would put us together,
unsuspectedly.
And now I will continue…
He still didn’t speak. So naturally, I spoke.
“Do you remember what you promised me?”
“You bet I do. Do you still believe in it?” Draco asked in return.
He spoke with such a soft voice, a voice that I hadn’t heard in a great while…
“If I didn’t, then would I do this?” I asked as I kissed him deeply.
I had done it.
I had once again, broke into his good side.
Evil no longer reigned inside of him, as far as I was concerned.
He couldn’t resist me, I knew he couldn’t.
I broke away from the kiss.
“Meet me at my place tonight?” I asked.
“I’ll be there. What time?” He asked me.
“7:30, don’t be late,” I paused,” my love.”
“Yes, ma’am,” he answered.
He then kissed me goodbye for the moment.
“See you then,” I said as I gave him a peck on the lips and apparated to the Burrow.
Chapter 2: Secret Meetings
As you can see, it was then that Draco and I had started meeting secretly.
Where you ask? Why not let it out in the open, again you ask?
For one, I know my brother. I knew my family. I knew Draco wouldn’t stand a chance; even if it
was against seven other family members of mine. I couldn’t let that happen. I loved him too much to
let my family come at him like a pack of wolves. I just couldn’t bear it. I’d be devastated if
something happened to him, especially if I knew that I’d soon be carrying his child.
We met in different areas, never the same spot twice in a month.
And now a glimpse of my 19th birthday….
It was hours, long hours it seemed like while I waited for the evening to arrive…
Why, you ask?
You shouldn’t need to even ask that….
I was in the kitchen at the time, looking for something to occupy me while I waited.
About an hour later, I felt strong hands, but yet gentle, being placed around me as a voice
said, “Happy Birthday, my sweet love.”
Draco then spun me around towards him; tilted my chin; lowered his head and kissed me.
Our tongues danced to a rhythm, a rhythm so wild and exciting that my heart jumped for
joy.
About a couple hours later, we somehow ended up in my bedroom. He treated me as though I was
still a virgin, not to mention like I was a queen. (I really loved that.) We had made love.
Passionately and slowly we made love again. It was then that he finally admitted his true feeling
about me.
“Ginny?” Draco asked.
“Yes,” I answered.
“I love you,” He spat out of his mouth.
“I knew it!” I practically screamed into thin air, “It’s about time I heard those three little words. I was beginning to think that I’d never hear those words come out of your mouth. I love you, Draco Malfoy.”
Things started to get heated up a bit. At the moment, I didn’t know that someone was knocking at
my door to my place. I was sure they would go away once they figured out no one was home since no
one answered. Or at least I hoped.
I could start to feel Draco’s hands on me. Oh how it felt so good. I thought I could have been
in heaven at that moment.
“Draco,” I moaned.
~*~
I felt myself relax as he was now over my body covering it with his.
Suddenly, the door to my room swung wide open. Draco quickly covered us both up as a person
entered the room.
Who opened the door you ask? Did they not have any sense to knock first?
My answer to that is: hold up. Once you know who it is, you won’t be so shocked, maybe a little
upset. Hell! I was furious!
I will continue now….
As the door swung wide open a voice yelled,
“VIRGINIA ANN WEASLEY! WHAT IN BLAZES IS GOING ON? AND WHO IS THIS? MALFOY? KIND OF LOW, DON’T
YOU THINK?”
As Draco gently pulled out of me I whispered in his ear,
“I’ll meet you in your bedroom once I’m finished with him.”
He nodded.
“Thank-you.”
He then kissed me, not caring if my stupid idiot for a brother was watching.
He then apparated out of there.
I couldn’t believe it. My own brother had just walked into my personal life; without knocking
for that matter. If this was his idea of a nice birthday gift for me then he sure wasn’t gonna like
what he got in return.
“Are you going to answer me?”
“Why should I? You have eyes. You figure it out. What do you think?” I said coldly as I stared
at him hard.
“GINNY! HOW COULD YOU?”
“What? How could I do what?” I answered back, knowing what he meant but chose to torture him
instead for the fun of it.
“You know exactly what I mean,” Ron answered angrily.
“I don’t have to tell you anything that goes on in my life, let alone let you walk into
it!”
“You will if I tell you to,” Ron demanded.
“Wrong answer Ron, definitely, wrong answer. I don’t have to tell you anything. And you know it,” I
said.
“Ginny! For all I know of what I just saw, you could be pregnant as we speak. After what I just
saw, I don’t know what to think,” Ron said.
“Ron, I think I’d know if I was pregnant and to your relief probably, I’m not. Ron, look. That’s
really sweet of you to be protective of me, but you’ve got to learn when to trust me. Can you
please do that for me? You wouldn’t want my birthday to be ruined by one of our evently arguments
do you?”
“No, I guess not. Alright, you have my trust. And I promise I won’t say anything else about this
to the rest of our family. I’m sorry I didn’t get you anything for your birthday.”
“Ron! You just did! Your trust! That’s good enough for me, that’s a great birthday gift. The
best one you have given me yet. Don’t fret about it, ok?”
“Ok.”
“Now I’d like to get some sleep if you don’t mind,” I said trying to get rid of him so I could
get back to Draco.
“Sure, Gin,” Ron said to me as he gave me a hug and said, “Goodnight.”
“Night,” I answered back as I gave him a kiss on the cheek.
(Just to make sure everyone knows, that no, I was not naked in front of my brother! I wasn’t
stupid! I covered myself up.)
He then left my room. I waited until I could hear him apparate out of my apartment.
(That was one thing about Ron. He never could leave a place when he apparated, quietly.)
I waited half of half an hour.
Finally, he left.
I, then apparated to Draco’s bedroom.
“Now, where were we?” I asked as I appeared to him.
“I believe it was maybe here,” Draco said as he began to nibble at my neck.
Oh how I loved that.
“Or here,” he said as his hands started to roam about on my upper part of my body.
“Sounds good to me, Tiger!” I said as I came at him wanting more of him.
Again we made love; it was the most passionate thing I had ever discovered with Draco. With him, it was like someone lighted a fire inside of me and let it burn.
Chapter 3: Time Passing By
2 months later….
One morning I woke up, I looked where I was; dark, gloomy, but also a silver tint to it with a
light shining through the window.
I could feel Draco's arms wrapped around me. I could feel the nice warm breath of his on my
neck. I gently turned to face him. He looked so peaceful while he slept.
I leaned into him and kissed him on the cheek. I knew I had to get out of there. I started to wiggle a little, his arms loosened up; just enough to let me slide away from them.
Soon I was dressed and before I apparated out of there, I took one last look at Draco. He
started to move around a bit, I could tell he was about to wake up; I then apparated to my
apartment.
I then went straight to bed and fell asleep.
It wasn’t until about 3 or 4 hours later when I woke up to a disturbing noise.
"Ginny!" Ron's voce said from the kitchen.
I jumped at the sound of his voice. I didn’t expect him this early in the morning and on a Saturday morning as well.
"Yeah, I'm here!" I called back. "Just make yourself useful in the
kitchen."
I knew he didn't like the kitchen but I could tell he started making some tea anyways.
I soon joined him.
"Good to see you up, Gin," Ron said then looked into my eyes. He always could tell if
something was up or not.
"What's the matter, Ginny?" Ron asked.
I felt sick. So naturally, I ran; straight for the bathroom. I came back in the room about 5
minutes later.
I looked at him and then all my emotions, just burst into tears.
He didn't press the matter forward yet, but just held me while I cried.
Soon I found myself saying the four words that Ron didn't want to hear.
"I think I'm pregnant."
Ron looked at me and said, "What are you going to do?"
"I have to move away from this place. I'm not sure where but I have to," I
said.
"Move in with me," Ron said.
"No, Ron. I have to move away from here. I'll let you know where I'm at, but only
you. You have to promise me that you won't tell anyone else where I am," I said.
"Gin-"
"Promise me," I said again.
"Ok, I promise. But when it comes time, you know, for the baby to be born. You have to promise
me that you'll come to me," Ron said.
"Ok, I promise I'll try to. If I can't then I'll owl you to come to me," I
answered back.
"Ok, it's a deal."
About 3 weeks later, I was in my new apartment. Morning sickness had started in on me. Draco had
owled me at least 2 times trying to find out where I was. I didn't owl him back.
Instead, I owled Ron telling him how I was doing; I told him that I was just plain scared. I didn't know what to do. Ron wasn't married so he did come by often, especially when I needed him most.
One night, Ron had come for dinner. After dinner, we sat on the couch in front of the fireplace
while we talked. Soon I found myself crying into Ron's shirt. He held me while I cried until I
fell asleep.
The next morning, I found myself in my bed, fully clothed and found Ron asleep on the
couch.
I decided not to wake him, so I went into the kitchen to start breakfast. I fixed bacon and
eggs.
Soon I found that Ron had woken up and followed the scent of food.
"Morning Gin," Ron said.
"Morning Ron. Thanks for staying with me last night. You didn't have to you know,"
I said.
"I know, but I did anyway. You’re welcome. By the way, when are you going to tell Draco
that you're pregnant?" Ron asked.
"Not yet, I'm not ready Ron. I just can't do it. Promise me you won't tell
him?" I asked.
"I promise I won't tell anyone in the family, but Gin, Draco's got to know about
his child. You can't go on with out him as a single parent. It's going to be too hard for
you. You'll be worn out by the time you've had the baby a week," Ron said.
"Ron, don't you dare tell Draco. You got that? You cannot tell him about his daughter.
When the time is right, I'll tell him," I said.
"Promise?" Ron asked.
"I can't promise that," I said. "I don't want to talk about it
anymore."
We then ate breakfast and about an hour or two later, Ron left saying he'd be back soon.
4 months later….
The owls from Draco didn’t stop coming. There were about one maybe two a week since I had left. I could feel the baby move, I let Ron feel of it once when the baby had kicked me. It scared him but I assured him that it was okay.
I was in the living room when I heard Ron’s voice call out to me.
“Ginny! Where are you?” He shouted as if I was way out in another galaxy.
“Ron, you don’t have to shout. I’m just in the next room to you,” I said.
“Oh, sorry about that,” Ron said as he sat down next to me.
“That’s ok. At least you didn’t scream like you used to when mum would have to scold you for screaming to find someone, thank-you for that,” I said.
Ron ignored that last comment and went on.
“So, how are you doing? Or rather feeling?” Ron asked.
“I’ve had better—“I said as the baby kicked me, “days, but it’s not bad. Here,” I said as I grabbed his hand and put it on my stomach, “I want you to feel the baby move and maybe---“… “kick.”
Ron flinched when the baby had kicked me.
“Come on Ginny, you know that scares the hell out of me when the baby does that to you. Let alone me actually feel it kick you,” Ron said.
“You’re such a big baby! It’s ok. Besides, the pain I feel now is going to be nothing when it comes time to give birth,” I said.
“I guess you’re right. I’m sorry,” Ron said.
“That’s ok. I guess if you’re not used to feeling the baby’s constant movements every step of the way then you would freak out a little. I know I did, now I’m used to it. It’ll be weird after the baby’s born, not having to feel the movements inside my body. But I’ll get used to it,” I said.
“Yeah, I guess,” Ron said.
Chapter 4: Storm before Peace
About 2 months later, I was in the kitchen making dinner, when I felt two strong hands come around my middle and settle on my stomach. I naturally thought it was Ron.
“Ron, what are you doing? You’ve never done this before,” I said.
I leaned into him instantly thinking it was Ron. But something seemed different. There was a scent to this person. Was this really Ron?
“That’s because I’m over here, Ginny,” Ron answered.
No, it wasn’t.
I looked down at the pair of hands around me and then I could feel a tear streaming down my face as I turned around and saw Draco.
I immediately backed out of his arms with nonstop questions racing through my mind.
“Draco? How? How did you find me? I never answered your owls,” I said trying to find an answer to how he could’ve found me.
“How else Ginny? Your brother told me. I’m rather glad he did too,” Draco answered back.
I looked at Ron with a hard, cold piercing glare.
“Ron, how could you? You promised and you just broke that promise,” I said.
“No, Gin. I didn’t. I promised I wouldn’t tell anyone in the family, and Draco, last time I checked, isn’t family. Not biologically or legally; or at least not until you two’s baby is born,” Ron said.
Silence
“Ginny, he had a right to know and you know it. Don’t deprive him of the knowledge of his own child. Hell! I should’ve dragged your arse back to him when you told me that you were pregnant. But me being the person who I am, the person who could easily fall under your ways, especially when you had tears in your eyes; didn’t. I’m only sorry that I didn’t do that,” Ron finished saying; as I was about to burst into tears.
Again, silence.
Draco looked at me, locked eyes with me as he spoke.
“Why Ginny? Why didn’t you tell me you were carrying my child?” Draco asked calmly.
“Draco,” I said as tears were now streaming freely down my face, “I got scared. I was scared of how you would react. I was scared of how my whole family would react. Only Ron didn’t react like a crazy madman like he is now. So I ran. I’m so sorry.”
Draco then put his arms around me as I cried and said, “You still could’ve told me Ginny. I’d of been right here with you through all of this that you’re going through. You know I would have. I love you, no matter what happens.”
Draco held me tighter while I cried and said, “I know, I’m sorry. I love you too.”
I dried up my tears and said to Draco and Ron, “You might as well stay for dinner. There’s enough for you two. No point in not staying when food is offered for free.”
“Sure Ginny,” Ron said.
“Ron, would you set the table then?” I asked.
“Sure, you know I hate that chore but I’ll do it anyway,” Ron said back.
I looked at him. But before I could answer his comment a mouth covered mine.
Damn, I thought, I don’t know how I ever left him. I loose myself in Draco’s kisses every time he does that.
I deepened the kiss. I could feel the baby getting excited as Draco kissed me. I reached for Draco’s hand.
Found.
I moved his hand over my stomach as he continued to kiss me.
I wanted him to feel the baby’s movements inside of me. I wanted him to feel the creation he helped make.
I pulled out of the kiss and smiled.
“If you keep doing that, I’ll never get dinner done.”
Draco smiled back at me.
“What the heck! I can never get enough of your kisses. Come here,” I said as I motioned him to come back.
Again, the baby moved. I was beginning to wonder when this baby would be in my arms and not in my stomach.
I pulled out and said, “Ok, that’ll do me for now. Let me finish dinner or you’ll never get any food. Besides, you’re making the baby jump.”
Draco smiled at me as I turned away from him and finished dinner.
Soon the food was done. I had Ron and Draco carry food over to the table while I fixed me some tea. I was feeling a little jittery at the moment. But I didn’t want them to worry about me, so I ate anyway.
“You two go ahead and eat the dessert. I’m just going to have some tea for now,” I said. “I’m a little full from dinner.”
I excused myself from the table and went back into the restroom. I came out with a look on my face that could be read as, ‘watch out. Baby comin’ any minute.’
I came back into the dining room.
Ron looked in my eyes. I wish he hadn’t of. I started to worry a little.
“Ginny, what’s wrong? Don’t lie to me, I can see something is wrong just by looking in your eyes,” Ron said.
Now both of them were looking at me.
“Ron, uh… I don’t know how to say this,” I said.
“What? What is it?” Draco asked.
“Ron, Draco,” I said looking at them one by one, “my water just broke a few minutes ago.”
Since I was closest to Draco, I reached under the table for his hand as I began to feel a twinge of pain in my stomach. I squeezed his hand and looked into his eyes.
“Ginny? What’s wrong?” Draco asked.
“Quick,” I said as I doubled over in pain, “get me to my bedroom.”
Next thing I knew, Draco was carrying me into my room. He set me down gently as the pain swept over me. I could feel his hand in mine. I felt a little sorry for him as I squeezed it hard. The pain was almost unbearable. I never thought I’d be in this much pain. I could feel a wet washcloth going across my face as where sweat had been. Ron was there now. He was the one who got some towels and water.
I could feel my knees being propped up. I assumed Ron was in front of me, since I practically had Draco’s hand glued to mine.
I felt the urge to push. So I did.
“I HATE YOU DRACO MALFOY!” I screamed breathlessly as I cried out in pain.
Draco flinched as I said those words.
Ron pushed my skirt up and said, “Ginny, push! Babies don’t wait for no one.”
I desperately clung onto Draco as I pushed. I was terrified of the pain. Draco was probably more scared than I was, just by looking at my face would have scared the living daylights out of anybody.
I could hear the faint sound of Ron’s voice calling out to me as the baby was coming nearer.
I woke up three days later, I looked around me, I found a baby girl right beside me, Ron over in a chair asleep, and Draco, wait where was Draco?
“Ron? Ron? Wake up!” I said.
“Hmmm… what?” Ron asked as he began to wake up.
“Ron, where is Draco?” I asked.
“Oh, Gin… he’ll be back,” Ron said.
“Ron! Where is he? I need him,” I said trying not to wake the baby.
“Relax, Gin. I’m right here. I just needed to get a few things from my place. I’m staying here with you and the baby. Or at least until you two can travel to my place,” Draco said as he entered the room.
“What?” I asked a little confused.
“I’m not letting you get away, Ginny. I love you too much to let you go,” Draco said.
Draco then reached for something in his pocket, bent down on one knee and said, “Ginny Weasley, will you marry me?”
Draco then opened the little green velvet box, and appeared a diamond engagement ring. I was shocked. I was so overwhelmed by this.
I started to cry.
“Ginny… love... What’s wrong? Did I do something wrong?” Draco asked.
“No, you didn’t,” I said still with tears rolling down my face.
“Well, Ginny? Will you marry me?” Draco asked again.
“YES!” I answered.
Draco then put the ring on my finger while I continued to cry happily.
I put my hand up to his face and pulled him towards me.
“I love you and yes I will marry you,” I said as I kissed him.
I automatically got lost in his kiss.
The only thing that brought me out of it was the sound of my baby girl crying. I pulled out and then picked her up.
“Well, what shall we name her?” I asked.
“I’m not sure, what do you think?” Draco asked me.
“Ron? What do you think?” I asked.
“I don’t know Virginia,” Ron said, “sorry, but it’s not my place to decide on my niece’s name.”
“Ron! You’re a genius!” I said.
“What?” Ron asked confused.
Draco looked at me and then at our daughter.
“Virginia Rose Malfoy,” Draco said.
“Perfect,” I answered. “Hello, Virginia Rose Malfoy.”
I looked at Virginia and then at Draco.
“She’s beautiful,” I said.
“Yes she is,” Draco said, “just like her mother.”
Draco gave Virginia a kiss on her forehead and then me, not on the forehead but instead, he gave me a gentle, yet passionate kiss.
Chapter 5: Another Storm Brewing
About 3 weeks later, Virginia and I moved in with Draco at his manor. The wedding wasn’t until another 6 weeks. Just getting the whole clan of the Weasley bunch to accept the new addition was a little tricky, with the help of Ron of course.
“Oh Ron, how’s Mum gonna react to this?” I asked desperately.
“Don’t worry Ginny we’ll talk to Mum first then after her we’ll talk to a couple of the older siblings first. Want to go to Mum now? Just to get it over with?” Ron asked.
“Sure,” I said. “But let’s wait til’ Virginia wakes up from her nap ok? How about we go make some tea for now?”
“Sure and Ginny?” Ron asked, obviously not catching on to what I was saying.
“What?” I asked.
“Do you have floo in your fireplace?” Ron asked.
“Yeah, we do,” I answered.
Draco was at work. He had no clue what was going on at the moment.
“Do you want to have her come here?” Ron asked.
“No, I do not,” I said. “She’d flip by just having to floo over to the Malfoy Manor.”
“Yeah they would wouldn’t they?” Ron said.
“Now do you see why I said wait til’ Virginia is awake?” I asked as she heard Virginia begin to cry, signaling that she was awake.
“No better time than the present,” Ron said as I got up and left the room to go to Virginia.
“I, so do not, want to see what happens next,” I mumbled as I went to Virginia’s room.
Ron ignored my comment as I came back with Virginia in my arms.
“Ready?” Ron asked.
“As ready as I’ll ever be,” I answered.
They stepped into the fireplace; Ron held my hand as he said, “The Burrow!”
And then we were gone.
They appeared in the fireplace at the Burrow, with 7 pair of eyes staring at me, Ron, and a baby in my arms.
No one said anything for a while, not knowing what to say, I took a chance and said, “Hi, Mum.”
“Hello dear. Well, who is this little one?” Molly asked as she began to come out of the shocking state.
I immediately brightened up and said, “Mum, this is Virginia Rose Malfoy.”
Again silence took the room.
“What? Did you just say Malfoy? As in Malfoy our enemy? As in Malfoy who put that diary in your belongings in your first year at Hogwarts?” Charlie asked.
“Yes, Charlie. It is,” I said.
“But, Ginny? How could you? Why them? Why-“ Percy started asking questions as another person interrupted him.
“Percy! That’s enough! If you can’t accept this darling new little one then you don’t have to but you sure as heck aren’t going to question your only sister like that. Is that clear for you? And for everyone else in this room, if you don’t like it, then go cry a river and build me a bridge so I can take walks with my new granddaughter,” Molly said proudly.
“Mum! I love you!” I said as I hugged my mother.
“I love you too, dear. Now you and Ron please come in the kitchen and I’ll make you some tea. Anyone else who wants tea, make it yourself,” Molly said as they left the room.
“Geez, what’d we do. We’re not the ones who started asking questions like Percy did,” Fred said.
“Fred! Shut-up,” Percy told his brother.
~*~
“So, when was Virginia born?” Molly asked as she gathered three tea cups and began filling them.
“About three weeks ago from yesterday,” I answered. “Mum? Will they be mad forever?”
“Oh no dear, I should hope not. Don’t worry about it. Although… That was pretty much a big shock, two really. One being, you have a daughter of your own and two, who her father is, was a big shock, especially to our family. Don’t take heart at it, they’ll come around,” Molly answered setting the teacups in front of them.
“Mum, I wouldn’t count on that. I’ve seen them like this before,” Ron said sipping some of the tea, relating to Percy.
Percy didn’t really have much favor in the Weasley clan anymore, since he chose the Minister of Magic over his family. He wasn’t really welcomed after that, needless to say.
“I know what you mean Ron, but Ginny isn’t Percy. And well, at least she came to confront her fear and not run away like Percy did. But enough about Percy, don’t make me start crying,” Molly said.
“Yes, Mum,” Ron said.
“Mum? Should I bring Draco back with me sometime?” I asked.
“Ginny, no offense but if you don’t want a death wish for Draco then I wouldn’t advise it. Considering how they’re behaving,” Ron said.
“Ron! Ginny don’t listen to your idiotic brother. You may bring him, but like Ron said, or rather what he partly said about them. Maybe it’d be best to wait a while before you bring Draco into the mist,” Molly said.
“Mum, he already is in the mist! He’s already in no matter what. Virginia is what links him to it. I will bring him here, no matter what they have to say. And if they doesn’t like it then so be it,” I said.
Charlie, who was starting to come into the kitchen, heard what Ginny had just said, “Ginny, you can’t be serious? The rest of them would tear Draco to pieces if you brought him here.”
“Charlie, they wouldn’t in front of their own baby sister and their niece. Besides, they can’t always be pleased. If this doesn’t make them happy that they now have a niece then they can just get over it. I know you may protest otherwise, but right now I need to go and I really don’t want to listen to your side of arguing in an argument,” I said to Charlie.
“Are you sure you need to go dear?” Molly asked.
“Yes, Mum I do. I’ll be back with Draco next time and Virginia of course. I don’t know when but it’ll be soon. Bye, I love you,” I said as I took Virginia into my arms and headed to the fireplace.
“I’ll be back. This little dispute isn’t over yet,” Ginny said as she stepped into the fireplace, grabbed some floo powder and then said, “Malfoy Manor # 2.”
Then I was gone.
Chapter 6: Trouble with the Malfoy Clan
She held Virginia tightly as she came back into her new home, their home.
“Ginny? Here, let me take Virginia before you squeeze her to death,” Draco said.
But before Draco could get Virginia in his hands, I turned away from him towards the nursery and went there.
Draco followed me.
Draco watched me as I entered the room and set Virginia down in her crib. Something was wrong, he could tell. Something just wasn’t right. And no, I really didn’t think it was at the moment either.
“Ginny? What’s wrong?” Draco asked.
Before he knew it, she was overflowing with tears.
“Draco, I went to the Burrow today,” I told him as I sobbed.
“Oh, I see. Did it go as planned?” Draco asked.
“Oh, it went as planned. I accepted that they would freak when they found out. Well, one did, one didn’t. My brothers exploded at me with questions with unexplainable answers and my mum jumped to my rescue and flared her temper at them. Needless to say, I told them I’d be back with you next time. It’s not as bad as it was with Percy but then again it’s not the best it could be right now,” I said as Draco put his arms around me.
“Uh… Ginny? Don’t you think it might be wise if we don’t go back?” Draco asked.
“Oh no, I’m not going to let them treat me like that. I’m not going to let them treat you like that. Even if I have to stay between you and my brothers the whole time we’re there. No point in arguing with me, you won’t win the argument. At least they know about us and our daughter and what about your parents? Do they even know you have a finance’, let alone a daughter?” I asked staring cold into his eyes.
Right now was not a time to make me madder than I already was. Even a stranger from a distance could tell that just by looking at my flaming red hair and a look on my face to scare anybody off the edge of the earth. No, this would not be a good thing to mess with me in my state of being.
Draco wouldn’t look at me for a moment, probably hoping that when he did look back, the scary evil glare on my face and my flaming red head temper of mine would be gone.
I took his hand and led him out of the nursery and into the study.
“Draco, look at me and answer me!” I said demanding an answer.
Oh, great, Draco thought, the temper is flarin’ now.
Draco still didn’t answer me.
“Draco!” I yelled with no patience at all.
What in the world is taking him so long to answer me? I thought. What I wouldn’t do for one of his kisses about right now, if only he’d answer me!
“No, Ginny I haven’t. I’m sorry. When do you want to go?” Draco asked with his head down.
“How about tonight?” I asked, cooling down a bit.
“Sure that’s fine,” Draco said.
I stepped closer to him.
I tilted his face up and then kissed him.
Ok, now I can loose myself in his kisses. I thought. This could be dangerous.
Later that night, I was getting dinner ready when Draco suddenly came up to me from out of no where and kissed me gently, but yet passionately.
“How about we go to your parent’s house later?” I asked, hinting at the obvious. Cause, I want you right now. I thought.
“Sure, whatever you wish my fair lady,” Draco said as he began kissing me again.
She always does loose herself when I kiss her. That’s not so bad, but I really just want her. Draco thought.
I then deepened the kiss.
Need to get out of kitchen, I thought.
I took a hold of his hand and apparated to my bedroom.
We had separate bedrooms until we would get married, but we both ended up in the other’s bedroom before dawn came the next morning.
“Sneaky, little thing aren’t you? Didn’t want to stay in the kitchen did you?” Draco asked with a grin on his face.
“You know it,” I said as I pulled him into a kiss.
This went on for a couple of minutes until we heard Virginia’s cries.
“I’ll go get her,” Draco said.
Draco kissed my forehead and then left the room.
We still need to go visit his parents, I thought. I really didn’t want to see them at all but for our daughter’s sake, I needed to.
Draco then came in with Virginia in his arms, fussy as ever. I noticed she was just fussy because of the way he held her. Draco handed her over to me.
“You do realize that we should go ahead and go to your parent’s, right? I mean I know they don’t like me but still they need to know about Virginia at least,” I said. “They have a right to know that they have a new heir.”
“I know. We can still go tonight if you want,” Draco said.
“Ok,” I said. “Draco?”
“Hmm?” Draco asked.
“Do you smell something burning?” I asked, thinking that something didn’t seem quite right. “Here take Virginia. I’ll be right back.”
I handed Virginia to Draco then left the room and went to the kitchen.
~*~
About five minutes later, Draco heard a scream.
Ginny! Draco thought.
Draco went running into the kitchen with Virginia in his arms. He looked to see Ginny on the floor knocked out and his mother and father looking straight at him.
Lucius had escaped from the prison of Azkaban, just like Sirius had done in their fifth year. And to this day, his appearance had been kept secret.
“Nice to see you, son,” Lucius said, “and who might that be in your arms?”
“What did you do to Ginny?” Draco asked as he went over to Ginny’s body on the floor.
Ginny was unconscious, but still alive.
“Oh, I took care of her. What were you doing with some piece of filth in your house Draco?” Lucius asked.
“Get out,” Draco said, “mother you can stay if you wish.”
“What?” Lucius asked.
“You heard me. Get out of my house. We were going to come visit you two later tonight for you to meet your new granddaughter but now I see that she will never step foot in that house as long as you live. Mother will be the only one who’ll be allowed to see her. Now get out!” Draco yelled at his father, Lucius.
“Very well,” Lucius said, “nice knowing you son. Let’s go Narcissa.”
“I’ll be along soon. You go ahead. I want to have a chat with Draco alone,” Narcissa answered.
Lucius snarled at his wife’s words and apparated out.
“Mum, do you realize you just made him madder than who knows what?” Draco asked.
“Yes, Draco,” Narcissa said, “but I made a promise to her mother when we were younger and I’m not going to break that promise. Even if your father depises the Weasleys, that doesn’t mean that I do.”
“What was that promise? Could you hold Virginia while I carry her to the bedroom?” Draco asked.
“Sure,” Narcissa said as she received Virginia into her arms.
Draco then carried Ginny into their bedroom, Narcissa followed him.
“Mum, what did father do to her?” Draco asked.
“Oh, that,” Narcissa said.
Draco looked at her and asked, “What do you mean by ‘that’?”
She didn’t answer him for a while.
“Mum? Please answer me?” Draco asked.
“Draco, he…”
“What did he do? Mum? What did he do to my finance’?” Draco asked.
“Finance’?” Narcissa asked.
“Yes, finance’. What did he do?” Draco asked again.
“When is the wedding?” Narcissa asked.
“In a couple of weeks... But there won’t be any wedding if I don’t know what father did to her!” Draco said.
“Oh Draco, relax. He only knocked her out after she insulted him after he insulted her. She has quite a temper really. I guess that comes from being born to two parents with red hair... Beautiful hair, it is… just the Weasley temper is threat to anyone if their in the path of it,” Narcissa finally answered him.
“So, I just have to wait until she wakes up?” Draco asked.
“Yes. What did she have going in the kitchen?” Narcissa asked.
“I don’t know. She went in there because she smelled something burning,” Draco said.
“Oh, that’s why it smelled funny in there. Well, you just let me fix you three dinner,” Narcissa said.
“Mother you can’t cook,” Draco said.
“Draco! You can not say that. You have never had my cooking. Or at least that you remember. Perhaps you have forgotten my own heritage that I come from, the Blacks’. I will not dishonor my own family name by just not cooking when my son tells me that I cannot cook. I’ll show you can’t cook,” Narcissa said.
“Yes Mother,” Draco said.
Narcissa then left Draco alone in the room with Ginny unconscious and Virginia asleep in his arms.
About three hours later, Ginny finally became aware of her surroundings. She looked up to see not Draco, but Draco’s mother.
“Easy Ginny. You’re safe. Don’t panic just because I’m here. I insisted that Draco get some sleep while I watched you. No worries needed, Lucius won’t get near you again,” Narcissa said.
“How long have I been out?” I asked.
“For a couple of hours, maybe 4 or 5 give a take or so. So your Draco’s finance’?” Narcissa asked.
“Yes I am. I do love him. I only regret leaving him while I was pregnant with Virginia. I was so scared and felt all alone. I was afraid of what his reaction would be, what my brothers’ reactions were, and most of all, my mother’s reactions; which they didn’t go as well. My brothers ended up giving me questions that were all so negative that Mum had to rescue me. She sure has the Weasley temper. Ron says I have it the worst. I wouldn’t disagree with him,” Ginny said.
“Ginny, how did your father react to this, union?” Narcissa asked.
I stared in silence. I missed my father. I wondered what he would have done or even said to me and Draco being together, let alone having a child together.
“Ginny?” Narcissa said.
“My father is dead,” I said softly and in a low voice as I looked away.
My eyes watered just at the thought of my own father’s last words. He had meant for them to keep me and Mum safe. I felt the tears coming on but yet I wasn’t crying yet.
“He died saving Harry and Ron from Voldemort. His last words were, ‘Take care of our sweet fiery angels,” I added, then… a tear strolled down my cheek.
“Oh dear, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you cry,” Narcissa said.
“It’s ok, that’s why I never look back to past, especially to that. If at all possible,” I said.
“Dear, that’s not really healthy for you. You need to grieve for him and then move on,” Narcissa said.
I didn’t answer to that. I figured that I didn’t want to look back on the past. I didn’t want to open up my hurtful past. Losing my own father, was …. Painful, hurtful… I couldn’t stand that subject… death… I hated it. It took every body away without a thought.
“My mother accepted it with open arms. My brothers’, Ron was the only one that accepted it. Or at least that I know of. I told them before I left with Virginia that I’d be back. And I’d be back with Draco. I told them that our little dispute wasn’t over yet. They didn’t like it but they’ll come around, I hope at least,” I continued, ignoring her last comment to me.
“Um, Ginny…I know this may sound a bit awkward but would you mind if we went to see your mum right now?” Narcissa asked.
“Uh… ok,” I said. “What about Draco and Virginia?”
“Oh, don’t worry about them. Draco can take care of her,” Narcissa said. “It’s high time that your mother and I explain talk about our promise we made to each other.”
I looked at her in shock.
Narcissa, noticing this said, “Ok, where is the nearest floo network in this house?”
“In the living room, it’s by the kitchen,” I said, coming back to my sanity of saneness.
Narcissa then took my hand and led me out of the room.
I stopped before we went through the door and said, “Wait, I’m sorry but if Draco does wake up and so does Virginia. Then I’ll need Virginia with me in case she gets hungry.”
Narcissa nodded and I then went over to Draco, who had Virginia in his arms asleep as well as him, fast asleep. I gently pulled Virginia to me as Draco began to stir, but didn’t wake up.
“Don’t worry, he’s a sound sleeper. Not even I could wake him up if I needed to,” Narcissa said.
I nodded and followed Narcissa to the fireplace.
“Dear, how about you go first. It might shock them if I went first,” Narcissa said.
“Right, ok. Here goes: The Burrow!” I said as I took a pinch of floo powder and threw it into the fire as I spoke.
Chapter 7: Midnight Drop In
I landed gently with Virginia in my arms at the Burrow. I looked in front of me.
“Hello, Ginny,” Fred said.
“Fred, easy. Not so loud. She’s asleep,” I scolded.
“Sorry, Gin. Hey wait a minute, why is she here?” Fred asked pointing to Narcissa Malfoy.
“Fred. Knock it off. Where’s Mum?” I asked.
“She’s in the kitchen. Seems all she does now is make tea. That is ever since she and Percy had a little dispute of their own,” George answered.
“What? Where is she?” I asked in full of rage.
George and Fred looked at me, probably debating on whether to tell me or not, on account of the famous Weasley temper that boiling in my system at the moment.
“Here. I’ll go ask Mum,” I said handing Virginia to George, “Oh come on George. It’s not that hard to hold a baby while she’s sleeping!” I hissed.
I then went straight for the kitchen.
“So, I hear you and Percy had a little dispute? Over what may I ask? Me perhaps? Mum, what happened?” I asked as I strolled into the kitchen.
~*~
“Yikes! Sounds like the sweet fiery angels are having a little dispute of their own,” Ron said as he entered the room.
“Yeah no kidding. They’ve been like this for at least ten minutes now. I’d hate to be on the receiving end of their wrath,” Fred said. “Hey George; want to pass the little squirt over here?”
“You know, I’m taking quite a liking to this little one; even if it is a Malfoy. No offense Mrs. Malfoy,” Fred said.
“None taken, besides, I plan on divorcing Lucius. I’ve had it with him. After what happened with Ginny, I’ve decided that I can’t take anymore of it,” Narcissa answered.
“What do you mean ‘after what happened with Ginny’?” Ron asked.
“Oh, when we arrived at their manor. Lucius had insulted her by saying something and then she talked back and insulted him in return and then he knocked her out. It was only maybe half an hour ago that she finally woke up. Don’t worry he knocked her out with his wand, not physically. I wouldn’t let him touch her if he tried. I won’t break my promise to your mother,” Narcissa said.
“What promise to our mother?” George asked.
“When your mother and I were in school, we made a pact in our first year to always look out for each other if we could. Each other and our children in the future. We made that promise and I plan to keep it,” Narcissa said.
~*~
“Mum, please just tell me where Charlie is,” I said.
“He’s out by the lake. Just go,” Molly said giving up to their dispute.
“Mum, Narcissa is in the living room. Virginia is with George and Fred,” I said as I then left the kitchen.
As I headed out the kitchen door, Molly went to the living room to see not just Narcissa, Virginia, Fred and George, but plus Ron, Harry and Hermione all sitting on the living room furniture.
“Molly! Goodness, it’s been a while,” Narcissa said as she went up to Molly and gave her a hug.
“Yes, I believe so. And I also believe that this is the first hug of many that you’ve given in quite a while,” Molly said.
“Yes, quite true it is. Quite true. Molly? Do you think we could go somewhere and talk in private?” Narcissa asked.
“Sure, yes let’s head to the kitchen and then go out to the garden,” Molly said.
Narcissa and Molly then left the room.
“So, Ron… whose baby is it?” Harry asked.
“It’s Ginny’s of course,” Ron answered.
“Ron, I meant who is the father of Virginia?” Harry asked.
“Oh, that part,” Ron said and then paused.
“Well, who is it?” Hermione asked.
All of the Weasley brothers’, except Bill, Percy and Charlie, looked at each other, wondering if they should say.
“Ok, what is it, or rather who is it? You all have the same look on your faces and it’s obviously not what you expected so you might as well tell us,” Hermione said.
They knew she was right.
One of them muttered Malfoy but not to where any of them could understand it.
“What? Didn’t quite catch that,” Hermione said.
“Malfoy,” George said speaking up this time.
“Wait a minute, as in Draco Malfoy?” Harry asked.
“Yes, Harry. Draco Malfoy is the father to Ginny’s baby girl. Their getting married in a few weeks,” Fred said.
~*~
“Charlie?” I asked.
No answer.
“Please answer me,” I said.
“Ginny, how could you?” Charlie asked.
Oh, boy! I thought. Where is this going?
“Charlie, what do you mean how could I? With Draco you mean?” I asked.
“Yes… Malfoy… Why him Gin?” Charlie asked.
“I didn’t plan it to be Draco that I fell in love with. Honestly, I didn’t. But I did and now I can’t think of any other way to explain why I am so happy. I love him. Please accept that. For me?” I asked.
Charlie didn’t answer until about three minutes later.
“I don’t like it and I won’t accept it. Or at least not right now I don’t. Is he here with you?” Charlie asked.
“No, he’s at the house asleep. He doesn’t know I’m here with his mother and Virginia,” I answered.
“Narcissa is here?” Charlie asked.
“Yes, she is. Probably speaking with Mum somewhere,” I answered.
“Let’s go find her shall we?” Charlie asked as he offered his arm to me.
I took his arm and we then set off to find them.
Chapter 8: Wishes Fulfilled
In the Garden…
“So, Ginny tells me you greeted the news of the grandchild with open arms and the others with not so open arms,” Narcissa said.
“Yes, that’s right. They were pretty shocked. Especially, since the child belonged to Draco. They didn’t expect that one. But I hope by the looks of Ginny and Charlie walking together right now toward us that everything is ok,” Molly answered.
“Since Arthur died, Charlie took over the head of the house, as if it was a duty. I didn’t expect him to, but I didn’t want to upset him if he thought he’d upset his father,” Molly added, looking at her son and daughter coming towards them.
“Oh, right. I see,” Narcissa answered as Ginny and Charlie approached them.
Molly called out to them and said, “I trust dears that things are better than before?”
“Yes Mum they are,” Charlie said. “I could never stay mad at Dad’s sweet little fiery angel.”
Charlie then looked to see a tear in my eye rolling down my cheek. He wiped the tear away from my face and then kissed my forehead and said, “Ginny, you can’t just keep him in the past.”
“Yes, Charlie, I can. I can’t look back to the past. It’s… too…painful,” I said, feeling the tears about to swell.
Molly and Narcissa just looked at them with awe.
Daddy, I thought. If only I could see you once more.
Arthur grinned at his daughter and couldn’t believe what she had just said. Arthur was a ghost at the moment. He didn’t let his family know that ever since his death, he had been watching over them. He knew about Virginia. He had been proud of his daughter when she defended him against Lucius, before he slapped her so hard that she passed out.
It was time, Arthur thought. She needs to open the window to her past and let the wound heal.
Without warning, Arthur made himself transparent. Enough to where his only daughter, son, wife, and Narcissa could see him.
Molly gasped. Charlie stared like he was dumb-struck. Narcissa stood there with her mouth wide open.
Daddy, I thought. This can’t be. I’m not seeing dead people. I can’t be. Can I?
“Ginny, love…You wished to see me once again. And here I am. I know of what’s been going on. I know about Draco and Virginia. I’m honored that you named her after my mother. But I am ashamed that you shut me out of your life in the present. I know it’s hard but it’s easier if you go ahead and cry. Just let it out, sweetie. And then move on. Let me go, sweetie. For your own sake, let me go,” Arthur said.
Arthur then came into a solid figure and embraced me in his arms while I began to cry.
Five minutes later, I pulled out of his embrace and whispered in his ear, “Daddy, Mum needs you too. Go sweep her off her feet and kiss her.”
Arthur then kissed his daughter on the cheek and let her go. He walked over to Molly.
“Excuse me Narcissa,” Arthur said as he grabbed Molly and brought her into his arms and kissed her.
Looks like not one wish but two was fulfilled today, Narcissa thought.
Arthur pulled out and looked towards Ginny.
“I must leave now. I love you, my sweet fiery angels. Never forget me and our past times together. I’ll be watching over you,” Arthur said as he then gave Molly one last heck of a kiss.
He then disappeared from their sight.
“Go get Draco,” Charlie said.
“What?” I asked, wondering if my ears had deceived me.
“Go get him Gin,” Charlie said. “If he’s gonna be a part of this family then we need to meet him.”
I smiled at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek and then I apparated out.
Chapter 9: Happy Emotions
I appeared in the kitchen.
I looked over to the stove. There was now a beautiful scene before my eyes.
The table had been set and the food had been put on the table, cast with a warming spell on them.
Who did this? I thought, surely not Draco.
I then left the kitchen to go to my room.
Inside the room, I found Draco still asleep in the chair next to the bed.
Good grief! How could he still be asleep? I thought. That looks very uncomfortable.
I went over to him.
He’s so cute when he’s sleeping, I thought. How I wouldn’t give to kiss those gorgeous lips of his.
Quickly, but yet quietly I went closer to him. And then before long I sat on his lap.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him.
He began kissing me back, instantly not thinking of if it was me or not.
“Ginny!” Draco said as he suddenly realized what was going on.
“Not a word. Right now, I want you right here,” I said signaling him to kiss me.
He obeyed me.
Draco couldn’t take it that he didn’t know any answers to his questions.
“Ginny-what-happened? Where is- my- mother?” Draco asked between her sweet gentle kisses.
“Don’t-worry-she’s-safe,” I answered between kisses also.
“Ginny-where-is-our-daughter?” Draco asked between kisses.
“Didn’t-I-say-not-to-worry?” I asked between kisses.
“Ginny,” Draco said.
“The-Burrow,” I said between a kiss and then deepened the kiss wanting more.
Draco noticed me being a little more aggressive this time as I kissed him.
“Ginny-why-so-aggressive? We’re-just-kissing,” Draco said.
“Draco,-I –want-more-than-just-kissing-right-now. Besides-unfortunately, - I was-supposed to-bring you-to The-Burrow-like 10-minutes-ago,” Ginny said between kisses.
“Ginny, - I-love-you,” Draco said between kisses.
He then pulled out of the kiss and said, “Ginny, if we’re expected to be at The Burrow, then we should get going. Although, I would rather just keep going like we are right now,” Draco said as he came at her with a kiss.
I pulled out and said, “You’re right, but if we don’t go then I’m afraid we’ll never retrieve your mother or our daughter from The Burrow. Besides, we can continue this after we get back.”
I then grabbed for his hand, kissed him, and apparated to the garden.
Chapter 10: Lady of the Lake
When we arrived we were still kissing each other passionately.
“Um-hmm!” a deep voice said interrupting us.
We emerged from each other’s mouth and each other’s arms.
“Come here you,” Charlie said talking to me.
I went to him.
“Don’t ever let me see you two like that ever again,” Charlie said in my ear.
“Then don’t look,” I said back.
“Draco?” Charlie asked as he spoke up.
“Yes Sir?” Draco responded.
“How about you and I go have a chat privately?” Charlie persuaded not giving a chance him a chance to say no.
“Yes sir,” Draco responded back.
I looked at my brother and Draco. Charlie looked determined. Draco looked a bit scared, to be honest.
“Charlie, before you take him off somewhere that I might not get him back, let me have a minute with him,” I said.
“Go ahead,” Charlie said.
“Thanks Charlie,” I said as I went over to him, gave him a kiss on the cheek.
“Your welcome,” Charlie started to say, but then he found that I had already begun to kiss Draco, with his arms wrapped tight around me.
“Should have figured that was coming,” Charlie mumbled under his breath.
“Yes you should have,” Molly said as she came up to him.
Five minutes later…
“Should I break them apart now?” Charlie asked.
“Don’t be too harsh with him. Otherwise I don’t think you’d like to be on the receiving end of a pretty little redhead’s wrath and then mine afterwards,” Molly said.
“Yes Mum,” Charlie said. “Has it been more than a minute now?”
“Charlie!” Molly hissed. “Go ahead. Might as well.”
“Ginny,” Charlie said.
We heard him but didn’t answer.
“Draco,” Narcissa said.
We still didn’t answer.
“Molly, care to help me pry these two lovebirds apart?” Narcissa asked with a grin on her face.
“Why yes. I believe I will,” Molly responded back with the same look on her face.
What were these two up to? I thought.
“What are you two up to?” Charlie asked.
“Oh, you just don’t worry. We’ll get these two apart,” Molly said.
Charlie watched them as they each went over to their child.
Molly went behind Ginny and Narcissa went behind Draco. They looked at each other and signaled a go at each other.
Charlie watched as they both took a hold of their offspring and pulled them apart, literally.
Draco and I looked at each other in shock as we were pulled away from each other.
I was the first to speak.
“Mother, why the heck did you do that?” I asked.
“Watch your language young lady,” Molly answered sternly.
I flinched as my mother said those words.
“Sorry,” I said.
“Mum, why did you break us apart?” Draco asked.
“It was time for you to go with Ginny’s brother and for Ginny to go to the lake. Ginny, at the lake is somebody waiting for you,” Narcissa said.
“Lake? Who’s down there waiting for her?” Draco asked suspiciously.
“Don’t worry Draco; no one is there to take her away from you. If someone was to take her away from you it’d be me,” Charlie warned.
“You wouldn’t be able to,” I said under my breath.
“Don’t be so sure, Gin,” Charlie said.
I saw Draco’s face. It wasn’t good.
“Don’t worry; he won’t tear you to shreds. Isn’t that right, Charlie?” I asked, trying to give Draco some courage.
“Yes, Ginny it is,” Charlie said. “I promise I won’t harm you. Besides, if I did, I’d be heading for two pretty little redhead’s wraths. Don’t want to go there.”
I laughed at this and said, “That’s right and you’d better not forget that.”
“Ginny!” Molly scolded her for speaking to her father like that.
“I’m coming. Hold on though,” I said, wanting one more kiss.
I kissed Draco once again before he went scared out of his mind while he spoke with my brother.
Without warning to Draco: I apparated out of his arms and by the lake.
“Better get used to that. She’ll do that to you all the time if you let her,” Charlie said. “Let’s go.”
Draco followed him further into the garden as he walked away signaling for him to follow after.
~*~
I gasped at the beautiful scene I had arrived to.
“Hello Ginny dear,” a voice said behind me.
I turned to see nobody.
“Who are you? Where are you? Show yourself,” I said.
“Look over towards the waterfall for five seconds and then back behind you,” the voice said.
I turned to look at the waterfall.
I saw a beautiful woman.
I then turned around to see the same beautiful woman in front of my eyes.
“Hello Ginny. I know this may sound very childish of the lady of the lake to be saying but I am your fairy godmother,” the Lady of the Lake said.
“You really exist?” I asked.
“I’m right before your very eyes aren’t I?” the Lady of the Lake asked rhetorically.
“Yes you are. I’m sorry I shouldn’t have asked that question,” I said.
“It’s ok. You naturally just spoke your mind. Like you always did,” the Lady of the Lake said.
“But how did you know that?” I asked.
“Ginny, did you not think that I’ve not been watching over you like a hawk since you were born?” the Lady of the Lake asked.
Before I could answer the Lady of the Lake said, “Here, watch and see.”
She then blew some mist over my eyes as she came closer to her.
I was then taken into the past.
Over on the rocks over to my left of where I was standing, I saw my mother and father lying down in each other’s arms as they watched the peacefulness of the lake as the currents of the lake went by.
I saw the Lady of the Lake come out of her shadow in the middle of the lake and then I heard her speak.
“Molly, Arthur,” she looked at them, “your child inside of you will fall in love with your enemy’s son. And you can not break them apart. They will become one of the most powerful new family lines ever created. Your daughter will be able to apparate when she is very young but won’t know that she even did apparate. When her second birthday after she finds her love. She will be able to create the most unbelievable things. For example, she’ll be able to make anything appear as she wishes them to. She’ll be able to freeze time just with the motion of her hands and most important she’ll be able to read minds. The last is a very important value. No one must know until the day she comes here after her and her love have arrived together kissing each other wildly, each wanting more. You must not let her venture out into these gifts. For if she does, the consequences can be quite dangerous. You must not tell her either. That’ll be my job.”
I was then right back into the future; my mind with racing questions.
“How?” I asked.
“How do your powers work?” the Lady of the Lake said.
“Yes,” I said.
“Easy, just look at something you see and then say in your mind the object and it’ll appear in your hand,” the Lady of the Lake said, “try it.”
I looked across the lake and saw a spring of water flowing frequently.
My mind came to Draco. I wanted him to be near me.
“Un-uh-uh-uh,” the Lady of the Lake said, “you cannot interrupt their conversation; even though it does sound interesting of you to think of to try on your first try.”
I looked at her guilty.
“Go on try it if you want. I’m not stopping you,” the Lady of the Lake said.
I then concentrated on Draco then said his name in my mind and concentrated on bringing him to me.
~*~
“Do you plan to respect my sister?” Charlie asked.
“Yes sir I do. I love her and I would never even think of harming her-“ Draco said but then he disappeared from Charlie’s sight.
“DRACO MALFOY! HOW DARE YOU APPARATE AWAY FROM ME WHEN I’M SPEAKING WITH YOU!” Charlie shouted.
~*~
Draco heard him but couldn’t for the life of him, figure out what was going on.
Draco soon came to me by the lake.
Draco unfortunately, landed right in my arms and managed to send me sailing towards the ground.
Before a big thud could be heard and felt, the Lady of the Lake protected them as they went down.
“Ginny? What just happened?” Draco asked.
“Oh don’t worry Draco, she was only testing her new found power of her’s,” the Lady of the Lake said.
“Who are you?” Draco asked.
“I am the Lady of the Lake, Ambrosia,” Ambrosia answered.
“Oh, well what powers does she have?” Draco asked. Can she kill me? Draco then thought.
I began to hear his thoughts, resulting in another power of mine I had just found.
“No, Draco I can not kill you. I wouldn’t even dream of it.”
“How? How did you know that was what I asked?” Draco asked.
“Another one of my powers I guess. I can read minds also. I guess I just heard your thought and answered it,” I answered.
“Oh, ok,” Draco said.
I love you. I want you. Draco thought testing her powers.
“I know but it’s not nice to play with my powers Draco,” I answered back to his mind telepathically.
Oh gosh, she can read me like a book. No one has ever been able to do that. Draco thought.
I laughed at this and said out loud, “You worry too much. And you’re right. I can.”
I then kissed him as I sensed his thoughts die down to a soft murmur.
Wonder what it’d be like to see her under the moonlight here. Draco thought.
“Don’t you wish,” I said in his mind, silently agreeing with him.
Yikes, I’ve got to stop thinking about these things, Draco thought.
“Yes, you do. But I’m all for it,” I said in the back of his mind.
Draco then deepened the kiss. I truly didn’t mind him thinking these things. It flattered me really.
“DRACO MALFOY! HOW DARE YOU!” Charlie shouted as he came towards us.
“I’m afraid I caused his rage. Let me take care of him,” I said as I pulled out of the kiss.
Good, cause he scares me to death! Draco thought.
I chose to ignore that last comment of Draco’s to turn around to see my second oldest brother, Charlie raging towards us.
“VIRGINIA ANN WEASLEY!” Charlie yelled.
Oh, I’m going to get it now! Draco whined in his head.
“No you’re not. Stop panicking,” I said to his mind as I squeezed his hand gently.
“Charlie, calm down. It’s my fault he disappeared from you,” I said telepathically to him without realizing I had done it. “Besides, I never said you could call me by my full name.”
Charlie stopped and looked at me in shock. I didn’t know if it was for that I was talking to him through my mind or if I had told him of his promise he had just broken, he had made as a child to our father.
“Ginny, did you just do what I think you just did?” Charlie asked a quite bit calmer.
What happened there? Draco thought.
“Don’t worry, Draco,” I said to his mind reading his thoughts.
“Charlie, I just communicated telepathically to you,” I said.
Charlie looked at the Lady of the Lake.
“Who are you?” Charlie asked.
“Do you not remember me Charles?” the Lady of the Lake said.
“No ma’am. I’m sorry but I do not,” Charlie said politely.
The Lady of the Lake then went up to him and said, “Then maybe this will.”
Charlie looked at her oddly as she opened her hand, palm facing up. She gently blew from her hand into his eyes.
Charlie was then taken into a trance. He looked lost.
When he came back to reality he said, “Oh my, it’s true. What you told me all those years ago is true!”
“Did you think I lied?” Ambrosia asked sarcastically.
“Well no. I’m sorry,” Charlie said.
“That’s ok. After all it was a sum of years ago,” Ambrosia said.
What do we do now? Draco thought.
“Relax, would you?” I said to his mind.
Sorry, Draco thought.
“Ginny, if you would stop using one of your powers to read his mind then we could move on to your other powers,” Ambrosia said.
“Sorry,” I said.
Other powers? Draco thought.
“Ginny! Channel his thoughts out for a minute or two,” Ambrosia said.
“How?” I asked.
“Easy, the same way you brought him here. All you have to do is concentrate on a place to send him and then wa-la, you send him there,” Ambrosia said, “And your brother too.”
“Sure, but where?” I asked.
“Anywhere you want,” Ambrosia said.
I then thought of the garden, just a little further than the garden, I had decided.
By the water fountains, I thought.
I then concentrated and said in my mind, Draco to water fountain in the garden. Charlie to water fountains in the garden.
“Good job Ginny,” Ambrosia said.
I noticed that both Draco and Charlie were gone.
“Now, onto your other power; the ability to freeze anything. Look over there,” Ambrosia said pointing to a fish jumping in and out of the water.
“I see,” I said.
“Ok, now with the wave of your hand or both hands, depends on how much you want it to affect the person or something. Let’s just try with one hand for now,” Ambrosia said.
“Ok, now I’m guessing you want me to freeze that fish?” I asked.
“It’s your choice. Go ahead if you wish to,” Ambrosia said.
With the quick movement of my hand, the fish froze in midair.
“Whoa,” I said, looking at the fish I had just frozen in midair.
“What? Are you surprised that you had it in you to do that?” Ambrosia asked.
“Oh, no not that; but that fish is incredibly ugly. Most of the fish in this lake are really beautiful but this one is totally hideous,” I said.
It really was an ugly, if not hideous fish.
Ambrosia laughed at this and said, “Ok, well I guess that’s all of your new found powers. You really are a natural for learning quickly.”
“How come they didn’t activate sooner?” I asked.
“They did, well one of them did anyways. One of them was to apparate. Ginny, you apparated just when you were three years old; do you know where you went?” Ambrosia asked.
“No,” I said, completely clueless that I had done such a thing at just being three years old.
“You came here. I saw you and then from then on, I watched you like a hawk. Your other powers wouldn’t come until I had told you about them or you had found out some other way. If you did find them earlier then it wouldn’t be good. It’d cause trouble, so I bonded those powers until the moment you first laid eyes on me,” Ambrosia said.
“Oh I understand. When can I go back to Draco?” I asked wanting to be in his arms again; wanting to be kissed by him again.
“Oh, you can go to him after your brother finishes torturing him with questions. Besides, I’d say that Virginia is in quite a fit right now,” Ambrosia said.
Without warning, I went up to Ambrosia and gave her a hug.
“Thank-you, for everything,” I said.
“Your welcome; now go to your daughter. I dare say she is not happy with whoever is holding her at the moment,” Ambrosia said.
“Thanks,” I said.
“Don’t mention it. I’ll always be protecting you. Until next time sweetie,” Ambrosia said as she blew a friendly kiss at me and then disappeared.
Guess it’s time to get to Virginia. Save her from whoever is making her have such a fit. I thought.
Chapter 11: Case of Tickling and a World of Trouble
Virginia was crying and for the life of all the people in the room, no one could calm her down.
“Come on sweetie,” Ron said, “you’re ok. Could you stop your crying for your Uncle Ron?”
She cried even louder.
“Guess that didn’t work,” Harry said. “Let me try.”
Ron handed Virginia to Harry.
Her cries got worse.
“Ok, obviously not,” Harry said.
I entered the room to hear Virginia’s cries.
I walked over to her and said, “Come here sweetie. Mummy’s here.”
I then took Virginia out of Harry’s arms and said, “Thanks Harry but as you can see, she’s not really used to other people. Especially after she probably just woke up.”
“Yeah, I noticed that,” Harry said.
Virginia still was crying.
“Shh, it’s ok. You’re alright,” I said as I cuddled Virginia in my arms.
Virginia immediately, settled down in my arms.
“Geez, Ginny. If we’d of known she’d do that so fast we’d a come to you sooner than you came to us,” Fred said.
“Oh, hush Fred. You would not of done that and you know it. You’d go to the last resort before taking the shortcut and taking her to her mother or father in the first place,” I said.
“You know us so well,” George said grinning.
“I should. I lived with you for an odd amount of years and I’ve lived though your little experiments that you two loved to use me as bait for,” I said.
“Sorry about that Gin,” Fred said.
“Uh huh, sure you are,” I said as Virginia began to fall right back to sleep.
“Ginny!” George said thinking that I really didn’t believe them.
“George! Criminy Catawolers! She just went back to sleep. I don’t think you want her to wake up crying again, do you?” I asked, getting a little upset that he was almost to the point of waking her again.
“No, sorry,” George said.
A few minutes passed before I spoke back up.
“How long has Draco been with Charlie?” I asked.
“For over an hour,” Ron said. “Think he’s lasted so far?”
“Ron! Don’t you dare say that,” I hissed trying not to wake Virginia who was asleep in her arms.
“Ginny, why don’t you sit down? It’ll be a lot comforter to hold her if you sat down,” Ron said.
“Guess you’re right. But I really don’t feel like sitting down,” I said.
“I understand but at least go put Virginia in your room so she can sleep comfortably,” Ron said.
“Guess you’re right again,” I said as I turned towards the stairs and then up to my room.
I gently laid her down and surrounded her with pillows all around her.
I may be a little overprotective but at least I’m protective, I thought.
I then left the room quietly.
As soon as I had gotten to the final last step I was taken by surprise when I was taken in an embrace from one of my brothers. I wasn’t sure which one it was at the moment since they caught me off guard.
I pulled out and looked. I then said, “Bill!”
I then went back to hugging him and said, “I’ve missed you! So what’s this about telling the whole rest of the family that you’re getting married and not telling your only and favorite little sister about it?”
“I’m so proud of you,” Bill said. “Knew you’d outsmart me someday. Just didn’t think it’d be this soon. But on my behalf, I hear you are getting married yourself and by the sound of it, you have a baby too.”
“Sorry bro. but that wasn’t on your behalf. You already knew that. So don’t put that into my face,” I said grinning.
“See what’d I tell ya? You already outsmarted me again,” Bill said.
“I always have. I just didn’t let you know it,” I said.
“Oh really?” Bill asked thinking of tickling her for that.
“Oh no you don’t. You’re not going to tickle me and get away with it,” I said reading his thoughts.
“Ginny, how’d you know I was going to do that?” Bill asked in a more serious tone.
“Oh, I’ll tell you about that later,” I said.
“Ok well, in that case…” Bill said as he then began to tickle her.
“NO!” I squealed. I really hated it when they’d gang up on me and tickle me.
“Bill! Ginny!” Molly scolded. “Have you no sense to be quiet when a baby is sleeping upstairs?”
“Sorry, Mum. He started it,” I said innocently.
“Yeah, sure you didn’t,” Bill said as he began to tickle me again.
Again I squealed.
“Bill! Have you no sense? You know how loud she gets when you tickle her,” Charlie said as he and Draco entered the house.
Draco, who seemed quite amused at this scene, thinking he’d have to try that out sometime.
“Don’t even think about it Draco!” I said to his mind.
Without thinking, I quickly turned to Bill, who was still tickling me as I tried not to squeal and waved hand at him. He instantly froze.
“Ginny, what in the world did you just do to Bill?” Ron asked.
“Oh, one of my new found powers. I froze him. I had to get away from him. I didn’t think I should wake-“ I said as I then heard Virginia’s cries. “Never mind, guess I already did that.”
I apparated to my room upstairs, to see Virginia a rage of fussiness.
“I’m sorry, come here sweetie,” I said to Virginia as I picked her up and cradled her in my arms.
Virginia soothed instantly, but unfortunately, not for long. Before long, she was having another fit.
What’s the matter now? I thought.
“Need some help?” Ron asked as he opened the door to my room.
“Sure, that’d be great. She seems to be having one major fit today,” I said.
“Here, let me hold her,” Ron said.
“Ok, whatever might work to get her to be quiet is fine with me,” I said as I handed her over to Ron.
“Come on, let’s go back downstairs. Mum is about to have a fit of her own if you don’t unfreeze Bill,” Ron said with a chuckle.
“I imagine, but in all offense, he started it,” I said as I went out the door with Ron following me.
“I bet,” Ron said as they went downstairs.
“Ginny! Unfreeze him right now!” Molly yelled.
“Ok, relax Mum,” I said.
I stepped away from Bill, a good distance to where he couldn’t reach out and start to tickle me again, and then waved my hand again and he instantly unfroze.
“Ginny! What in the world just happened?” Bill asked.
“Oh, wouldn’t you like to know,” I said with a grin. “I only froze you for me to escape.”
“Oh in that case…” Bill said as he was about to start again.
“Bill!” Charlie said. “You lay one hand on our sister again and you’ll be sleeping outside for the rest of this week.”
Bill drew back and said, “You got lucky this time, sis.”
“Yeah right, you just got unlucky,” I said as I stuck my tongue out at him.
“Oh, you’ll pay for that one,” Bill said as he came closer to me.
“BILL!” Charlie said as I apparated away from Bill to behind Charlie.
“Oh, nice Ginny. Hide behind him,” Bill said.
“Well, it works. You’d have to get through Charlie to get to me,” I said as I stuck my tongue out at him again.
“Ginny!” Charlie hissed. “Stop doing that to him.”
“Doing what?” I asked innocently.
“You know what I mean. Now stop hiding behind me. Bill isn’t going to touch you,” Charlie said.
Fred and George then got up, thinking they could try a go on their sister.
“And you two aren’t either. So don’t try it unless you want her to use her power on you like she did on Bill,” Charlie said.
“Fine, whatever you say bro’,” George said giving up.
You’re no fun Ginny, George thought.
“Oh hush George,” I said.
“Ginny, he didn’t say anything,” Molly said.
“Mum, I read his thoughts. So naturally, I answered him,” I said.
Thanks Ginny! I dare you to kiss Draco wildly in front of Charlie, George said in his mind knowing Ginny heard him.
Without thinking, I froze George in response to his last comment in his mind.
“Ginny, what did he say to deserve that?” Narcissa asked.
“This,” I said as I went up to Draco and kissed him wildly in front of the whole room.
Geez, Ginny. Get a room would you? Fred said in his mind.
Watch it Fred, you wouldn’t want to end up like George is would you? I asked his mind through mine as I kissed Draco.
I still say get a room, Fred answered back.
I instantly pulled out of the kiss, startling Draco a little bit, and turned my head around to Fred and glared at him.
“Watch it Fred. Whatever you just said in your mind to Ginny sure can get you into a whole lot of trouble, especially if her temper is flarin’. Believe me, I’ve been there, you don’t want to go there,” Ron said warning Fred of what could happen.
“What did you do to make her mad last time?” Fred asked.
“You don’t want to know but I sure as heck got a response back from her,” Ron said.
You sure did, I said to his mind still raging with anger.
“I still say what I said to her a while ago. And I still mean it,” Fred said.
I was about to freeze him and then send him somewhere where he wouldn’t like it. With this rate, I would have sent him to the North Pole or somewhere similar.
“Ginny, don’t,” Charlie said. “Fred, what exactly did you say to her?”
Fred didn’t answer.
“Answer me or I’ll let Ginny use her powers on you,” Charlie warned.
He still didn’t answer.
“Ginny, what did he say? What did they both do for that matter?” Charlie asked.
“George dared me to kiss Draco wildly in front of you and then Fred told me to get a room. Personally, I’d like to send his arse to Timbuktu right now,” I answered.
“Ginny! Watch your language!” Molly scolded.
“Mum, he deserved it!” I answered back.
“Enough you two. There’s been enough arguing for one day already. Ginny unfreeze George,” Charlie said.
I unfroze George.
Before George could even think of something to say to me, Charlie interrupted.
“George, Fred, Ron, Bill, except Ginny, Draco, and Narcissa, go home,” Charlie said.
“Ron wait,” I said as I rushed over him and took Virginia from him. “Ok, now you can go.”
“Ron, you can stay the night if you wish,” Molly said.
“Thanks Mum but I’d better get going home anyways,” Ron said and then disappeared.
Chapter 12: Shocks All Around
Soon, the others went home and left the other three alone with Charlie and Molly.
“Thanks bro’,” I said as I hugged him, still with Virginia in my arms.
“Ginny, I still haven’t got to hold this little one yet ever since you first appeared here in the first place with her in your arms. No doubt, even before Molly scolded me with that temper of hers. Sorry about that,” Charlie said.
“Don’t worry about it Charlie,” I said as I handed Virginia over to Charlie.
Virginia instantly giggled as Charlie held her in his arms.
I then went into Draco’s arms as I began to kiss him passionately and slowly.
Without thinking I took Draco’s hand and apparated to the rocks out by the lake as the moonlight shined on them.
“You like this place don’t you?” Draco asked.
“Yes, I do. I believe you wanted to see what I looked like under the moonlight right here before,” I said grinning from ear to ear.
“Yes I did,” Draco said as he then said in his mind, And especially, just you and with no clothes on for that matter.
“You’ll get that wish soon,” I said as I then kissed him and said in my mind to him, sometime on our honeymoon I’d say.
Draco then deepened the kiss and said in his mind, I’d make love to you right now if it wasn’t for my mother and our daughter are back at the Burrow.
I don’t mind, I said back as I nibbled at his ear. They’ll be ok for a while longer.
Yeah, I know but we really should be getting back and then go home, Draco answered.
Oh alright, I said as I grabbed his hand and apparated back.
“Ginny, if you could stop kissing Draco for a couple of minutes, then might you be able to go upstairs with Virginia and feed her?” Charlie asked.
We stopped kissing each other and I took Virginia from Charlie and headed upstairs.
“I remember those midnight feedings, don’t you Molly?” Arthur asked, becoming transparent again, like before.
“Yes I do. Charlie, Ron, and Ginny were the worst. Fred and George weren’t that bad. Bill and Percy were the easiest out of the whole bunch,” Molly said.
Arthur chuckled at this and said, “Oh come on it wasn’t that bad.”
“That’s what you think. You never once did get up for Charlie, Ron, or Ginny when they woke up at night. You just kept sleeping as if you never heard them,” Molly said.
“He was that bad? At least he got up for the others didn’t he?” Narcissa asked.
“Yes, eventually he did. What about you? Did you ever have any help?” Molly asked.
“Nope I never did. Draco,” Narcissa said turning to her son. “You woke me up every chance you got it seemed. Every night it seems that I remember; always exactly at thirteen minutes after one in the morning. Gosh, I was so glad when you finally slept through the whole night. Then with your sis-“
“My what?” Draco asked.
“Never mind,” Narcissa quickly said.
“Mum you were about to say my sister. When did I ever have a sister?” Draco asked.
She didn’t answer him.
“Narcissa, it’s about time he knew about her,” Molly said.
“Guess you’re right,” Narcissa said to Molly.
“Should we go into the kitchen first?” Molly asked.
“No, I should think not,” Narcissa said, “Draco, you do have an older sister. Before she was born, Lucius had made a threat to me; saying that if the baby wasn’t a boy, then he would kill it.”
A few moments passed as she gathered her thoughts and then continued.
“So before the time came to give birth to her, I went to my cousin, Sirius, at his parent’s house. I told him about it and then he refused to let me go anywhere after that until she was born. But I, being stubborn went away from him anyways. That is until the time came, I woke up one night in pain. I apparated to Sirius; quite scared him really. He was half awake when I appeared to him beside his bed in pain. He helped me through all of it. It took three days for her to be born. Finally, she was. Sirius insisted that she should stay with him so that she wouldn’t be killed by her father.”
“What did Father say?” Draco asked.
“We just told Lucius that the baby was born stillborn and so your sister stayed with Sirius and I imagine she’s still there probably. All I would have to do is mention her name and she would appear before me in an instant.”
“Mum, would you call her right now?” Draco asked.
“At this odd hour? I think not. Anyone who would want to wake her right now would be asking for a death wish. She’s isn’t a sound sleeper like you are. I don’t know where she got that quality. Maybe it was from my mother, who knows?” Narcissa said.
“We’ll go later. I promise,” Narcissa said.
“Mum, what’s her name?” Draco asked.
“Oh, Sirius loved that scene. If he were still alive he’d tell you in a heart beat,” Narcissa said with a chuckle. “Her name is Caitlyn Amorica Malfoy. Sirius wanted me to have her last name be Black but I didn’t want to deprive her of her true heritage.”
~*~
Three months later, after Draco had found out about his only sister, he still had not even met her. It was an evening when he demanded from his mother to let him see her.
“Draco, not yet,” Narcissa said.
“Mum, why not? I don’t see any idea why not,” Draco said.
“Oh alright,” Narcissa said, giving in. “Caitlyn Amorica Malfoy come.”
Draco looked at her wondering what she was doing.
As if it were a cue for Caitlyn to appear she appeared.
“Mum, you called me?” Caitlyn said looking at her mother.
“Caitlyn!” Narcissa said as she turned her eyes from Draco and went to Caitlyn with open arms.
“Mum! Please don’t squeeze me,” Caitlyn said trying to breathe.
“Oh sorry; Caitlyn it’s about time you and your brother met. He just insisted that you meet now. Don’t ask me why at this hour because I have no clue,” Narcissa said.
“Brother? Mum, what are you talking about?” Caitlyn asked, “I’m your only child.”
“No dear, you’re not. I hid you away from your father for your own safely. Draco, come here,” Narcissa said.
As on cue, Draco came over to her.
“Caitlyn this is your brother, Draco Augustus Malfoy. Draco this is your sister, Caitlyn Amorica Malfoy,” Narcissa said.
“Oh, Mum! He’s adorable! Come here you!” Caitlyn said to Draco.
Caitlyn engulfed him in a hug and said, “It’s good to meet you little bro.”
“You too, sis,” Draco said back.
“Draco who is this?” I asked as I came down the stairs with Virginia in my arms.
Draco turned to see me and came over to me and took Virginia out of my arms.
“Caitlyn meet my daughter, Virginia Rose Malfoy,” Draco said.
“Aww! She’s cute. May I hold her?” Caitlyn asked.
“Sure,” Draco said as she handed Virginia over to his new found sister.
“Congratulations on the new one on the way,” Caitlyn said.
“What?” Both Draco and I said looking at her shocked.
“You’re pregnant. I can tell just by looking in your eyes,” Caitlyn said. “It’s one of my gifts.”
“I’m not pregnant,” I said in response.
“Sure you aren’t. Go ahead, use the spell to see if I’m right, if you don’t believe me,” Caitlyn said.
“Caitlyn!” Narcissa scolded.
“What? She obviously doesn’t believe me, so go ahead. Prove me wrong,” Caitlyn said.
“No,” I said.
“Fine then I’ll do it for you,” Caitlyn said as went over to Draco and handed Virginia back and went over to me and tapped her wand on my stomach three times and muttered the spell.
I began to feel something to move in my stomach.
It was true.
My eyes went wide with shock.
“Ginny!” Draco said as I fainted. “It’s true isn’t it?”
“Yes it is,” Caitlyn said. “Why do you think she fainted?”
“Caitlyn!” Narcissa warned her daughter. “Don’t be rude.”
“Sorry, Mum,” Caitlyn said.
“Here Mum, I’m going to take Ginny upstairs,” Draco said as he handed Virginia to his mother.
“Ok,” Narcissa said.
“You can stay with us if you like,” Draco said as he picked Ginny up in his arms.
“Thanks little bro, but I think I’ll just stay at Uncle Sirius’s house,” Caitlyn said.
“Caitlyn, you know he’s not your uncle right?” Narcissa asked.
“Yes, Mum I know. But he always insisted that I call him that,” Caitlyn answered.
“Mum, one last thing before I go upstairs, how much older is she than I?” Draco asked with Ginny cradled in his arms.
“Only a year; she never really noticed when I became pregnant with you. She wasn’t really old enough to figure that out,” Narcissa said.
“Ok, be back in a jiff,” Draco said then carried her upstairs.
While Draco had been carrying Ginny upstairs, Ron had appeared.
“Excuse me Mrs. Malfoy but where might Ginny be?” Ron asked.
“Draco just carried her upstairs; seems to be that she’s pregnant. She fainted and Draco took her upstairs. And please call me Narcissa,” Narcissa said.
“Sure,” Ron said looking at Narcissa and then to the lady beside her.
She was beautiful.
She had beautiful blue eyes and blonde hair. She was a little shorter than Ron was but not much.
“Ron, this is my daughter, Caitlyn,” Narcissa said.
“Pleased to meet you,” Ron said as he kissed her hand.
“Same here,” Caitlyn said approving of him.
“Want to go for a walk with me?” Ron asked offering his arm.
“Sure, I’d be delighted to,” Caitlyn said taking his arm.
They then walked out of the house and went down the path that led to the garden in the moonlight.
Soon Draco appeared back.
“Where’s Caitlyn? Did she already go home?” Draco asked.
“No, she went for a walk with Ron just a few seconds ago,” Narcissa said.
Draco’s eyes went wide with shock.
“Don’t worry, Draco. I’m not worried about Ron; it’s her I’m worried about. She could put the moves on him before he even realized it,” Narcissa said.
Chapter 13: Facing the Facts
The next morning, I awoke to be at home, our home. I noticed that Virginia was in her crib fast asleep and Draco was asleep right next to her. The big, bright neon green lights of the image of 5:OO, seemed to be a little too early at the moment.
Way, too early to be awake. I thought. How in the world did I wake up at 5 in the morning?
I then snuggled closer to Draco as I fell back to sleep.
Draco then woke up at about 5:30 in the morning, to see that Virginia was still asleep and I was now at least conscious, with my head on his chest as I slept. He then put his arms around me as he fell back to sleep.
I then again woke up at 7 in the morning with Draco’s arms around me. So many things I had learned of in the last couple of months had been overwhelming; new powers, the whole ordeal with Fred and George, the thing about Caitlyn, and the newest, the discovery of having another one on the way. I wondered why I hadn’t discovered it before Caitlyn did.
I then apparated to the kitchen, trying not to wake Draco up.
I started to cook breakfast. The smell of bacon and eggs were starting to get to me a little bit.
Fortunately, I had already set everything on the table before I rushed to the bathroom.
I was sick, violently sick. I got up and then apparated to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and took a shower. I had cast a warming spell on the food before I had gotten sick and ran.
Draco woke up to the sound of a shower running and the smell of food. He went into the bathroom, carefully not trying to alarm me. He quickly undressed and got in with me, without me noticing. He put his arms around me and said, “Morning sweetie. How do you feel?”
“Morning, I guess morning sickness has taken its toll on me this morning. Where’s your mother?” I asked.
“Oh, she stayed with Caitlyn. She’s divorcing father. So she stayed in her maiden name’s family house. So what do you think this little one will be?” Draco said as he put his hands on my stomach.
“Draco, you probably can’t feel anything yet. It’s too early to tell,” I said.
“Yeah, but you can still guess. What do you guess?” Draco asked.
“I don’t know,” I said trying to get him to change the subject or just to let me finish my shower.
“Oh come on, Ginny. Guess,” Draco said.
I then apparated out of the shower, grabbed a towel and said, “boy.”
“Ginny, you didn’t want to stay in with me?” Draco asked.
“You got it. Now you guess,” I said, with a smirk to match how I felt.
Draco noticed the smirk and said, “It’ll be another girl.”
“And how do you, Draco Augustus Malfoy, know that?” I said.
“Care to make a little bet over it?” Draco asked. I calling him by his full name apparently didn’t at all the least affect him.
“A bet? Over the sex of the baby?” I asked as I dried off and began to dress in fresh clothes.
“You got it,” Draco said smirking.
“And what kind of bet are you talking about?” I asked.
“Not money, but something different,” Draco said with another smirk.
“Different? What are you planning in that scheming head of yours’?” I asked.
“If it’s a boy like you want then I’ll have to get up every time each night it awakes at like midnight the first week after it’s born and then if it’s a girl like I want then you’ll have to get up for the first week after it’s born,” Draco said.
“Second week after,” I said.
“Alright, second week after. So is it a deal?” Draco asked.
“Alright, but I gotta warn you, you’re going to lose this bet,” I said as I opened the door.
I heard the shower turn off and then Draco was right in front of me with a towel around part of him leaving his upper body exposed to the air and for me to see.
“We’ll see about that,” Draco said as he pulled me closer to him into an embrace and kissed me deeply.
I pulled away and said, “You got me all wet again.”
Draco grinned and said, “Just means you’ll have to change then.”
“Yeah, I guess so,” I said as I grabbed his towel and apparated to the laundry room.
“GINNY!” I heard Draco yell from above.
I laughed at this while I put the towel in the laundry room, which was directly a floor down from our room. I then quickly apparated back to our room and changed and then went to Virginia.
“Hey sweetie, you awake?” I said gently to the child that was stretching in her crib.
I then picked her up and carried her to the kitchen. I grabbed some baby food from the cabinet and then went to the dining room with a tiny spoon and began to feed her.
Caitlyn and Narcissa then appeared before her.
“Hello dear,” Narcissa said.
“Hello Ginny,” Caitlyn said. “How are you feeling?”
“Hi, unless morning sickness decides to take over me again then I’m ok,” I answered. “Would you like to stay for breakfast?”
“Sure, thanks. Where’s Draco?” Narcissa asked.
“Oh,” I said as I started to laugh a little. “He’ll be out shortly.”
“What’s so funny?” Caitlyn asked.
“We made a bet over what the sex of the baby would be. He kissed me and got me wet. Then for revenge I grabbed a hold of his towel and apparated down to the laundry room,” I answered.
“Oh, I see,” Caitlyn said laughing also.
“You’ll win the bet,” Narcissa said.
“I know but Draco seems to think that he’ll win,” I said. “Caitlyn? Could you take Virginia right quick?”
“Sure,” Caitlyn said as she received Virginia in her arms as I quickly ran to the bathroom, nearly knocking Draco out of the way in the process.
“Morning Draco,” Caitlyn said with a smirk on her face.
“What? Why are you smirking like that?” Draco asked.
“Oh nothing, except that you’re going to lose that bet of yours,” Caitlyn said.
“Oh how would you know that?” Draco asked.
“We, women know. It’s an instinct. Besides, you’re going to lose just because I say so,” Caitlyn said.
“Oh is that right?” Draco asked getting closer to her.
“Yes it is,” Caitlyn said.
Draco then began to tickle his older sister.
“HEY! I HAVE VIRGINIA IN MY ARMS!” Caitlyn squealed.
“Oh, sorry. Here let me take her,” Draco said planning something in his head.
“Ok,” Caitlyn said handing her over.
Draco then handed her to his mother and then went back over to Caitlyn.
“Oh no you don’t,” Caitlyn said as Draco corned her and began to tickle her.
“NO!” Caitlyn squealed.
“Draco! Caitlyn!” Narcissa said as she continued to feed Virginia. “No more. Stop it right now.”
“Yes Mum,” Caitlyn said as she then turned to Draco to where Narcissa couldn’t see and she stuck her tongue out at him.
Just as Draco was about to tickle her for that Narcissa said, “Draco, no.”
“Yes, Mother,” Draco said as he stepped away from Caitlyn and went over to Ginny who was entering the dining room, “Feel better?”
“A little. If its one thing I learned last time when I was pregnant with Virginia, is that I hate the morning sickness part,” I said.
“Well, maybe this will make you feel better,” Draco said as he began to tickle her.
“NO!” I squealed.
I quickly froze his hands.
“Ha! You can’t tickle me anymore now, now can you?” I said grinning, proudly.
“Guess not, but you’d better kiss me to make up for that,” Draco said with a smirk on his face.
“Gladly,” I said as I went into his arms, quickly unfroze his hands and kissed him
.
His arms held me in place as he deepened the kiss and held me tighter as the moment went on as we kissed.
I began to feel a little dizzy but tried to ignore that for a minute or two while we kissed.
Before I knew it, that nauseous feeling came back.
I quickly, apparated to the bathroom upstairs.
“She’s really going to be hungry, since she can’t even stand the smell of food right now,” Caitlyn said.
“I know, poor thing. I wonder how she managed last time,” Narcissa said.
“She didn’t. She couldn’t eat for a week,” a voice said as he entered.
“Ron!” Caitlyn said as she got up and ran to Ron.
“Hello,” Ron said.
“Oh skip the hellos’,” Caitlyn said as she began to kiss him.
He wrapped his arms around her while she kissed him.
“Caitlyn! Give him time to breathe!” Draco said not liking the scene he was seeing before his eyes.
“Oh Draco, shut-up!” Caitlyn said, “Now you were saying about she couldn’t eat?”
“Yeah, if she was able to eat she could only hold down my Mum’s soup that she sent over sometimes but didn’t know that she was pregnant at the time. She just thought she had the flu. Don’t know what was in it, but whatever it was it worked,” Ron said.
“Poor thing, I wonder if my soup would help her,” Narcissa said.
“Did it help her any?” Draco asked.
“A little. She should be able to eat normally before too long,” Ron answered.
“Ron!” I said as I entered the room again and gave him a hug.
“Hey, sis. How are you feeling?” Ron asked. “By the way, you sure did make Fred and George mad that last night at the Burrow. Yikes, I ended staying at the Burrow, there was so much tension.”
“Ask me that in about two weeks and I might be able to answer that. Good, they deserved it,” I said, proudly thinking that they really deserved that.
“Gin, they’re still pissed. Even this morning they were still slamming stuff around in my flat,” Ron said.
“Not for long they’re not,” I said as I apparated to Ron’s flat.
“Oh no. This can’t be good,” Ron said.
“Should we go after her?” Caitlyn asked.
“No, but I should probably go. I’m not worried about Ginny. It’s the other two twits that I’m worried about. They really don’t stand a chance against her,” Ron said.
“Well alright, don’t let her beat them up too bad,” Draco said.
“Be back in a minute or two. With Ginny I hope,” Ron said as he apparated to his flat.
~*~*~*~*~*~
“George! Fred! What’s this I hear you two still pissed about that last night at the Burrow?” I
asked, in a rage of a storm.
“Ginny! What the heck are you doing here?” Fred asked. “You obviously got us in trouble that night for no good reason.”
“NO GOOD REASON?” I yelled.
“You got it right, for no good reason,” George said.
“Really? Then how do you explain what you two were saying to me with your minds? George about daring me to kiss him wildly in front of Charlie. And you! Fred, you telling me to get a room with him? You really think that’s not a good reason for why you got in trouble with Charlie?” I said, now extremely mad with the temper flarin’ and all.
“Yes we do,” Fred said.
Without warning to Fred or George, I gave them each a punch in the eye and then said, “Not again.”
Then I ran to the bathroom.
Fred and George looked at each other and said, “What was that about?”
“Don’t know,” they said back in unison.
Then Ron appeared, “What happened to you two?”
“Ginny,” Fred said, “That’s what happened. She punched us and then said ‘not again’ and ran to the bathroom.”
“Don’t know what that was about but we still stand by our side of the argument,” George said.
“You twits! She’s pregnant! That’s why she ran to the bathroom, morning sickness ring any bells? How can you two be so dumb to mess with her about this, about that night? Which by the way, you had no right to say those things, especially yours’ Fred. George’s was alright but good grief Fred! Grow up would you?” Ron said in rage just as Ginny had been a minute before.
“I still stick by my side of the argument,” Fred said.
Again without warning, Ron took a swing at him. Fred ended up on the floor and George ready to jump Ron.
“George! Don’t you dare!” I said as she froze Fred from getting up.
George ignored her anyway and tried to take a swing at Ron anyways.
Before George could even touch Ron, I froze him.
“Ron! What in the world is going on?” I asked still in a rage.
“Yeah, what is going on here?” Charlie said as he appeared with Percy by his side.
“Oh, these two frozen here by Ginny, were still pissed from the night that we were at the Burrow; about getting in trouble from you at what they said in their minds. They each got a punch from Ginny and then when I got here they were still stuck in their ways. That’s how Fred earned the other black eye. Then before George could take a swing at me Ginny froze him too,” Ron answered.
“Since and I wasn’t there what did they say?” Percy asked.
“George dared me to kiss Draco wildly in front of Dad and then Fred told me to get a room. No one else heard them but since I can read minds, I could,” I said looking a little green.
“Those little gits,” Percy said. “They never did know when to put a sock in it.”
“Ginny, no offense but you looks a little green,” Percy said, a few minutes later.
“Yeah, are you alright Ginny?” Charlie asked as he came nearer to her.
“Oh no, not again,” I said and then ran back to the bathroom.
Percy and Charlie looked at Ron confused about why Ginny just ran out like that.
“Ok, Ron explain that to us,” Percy said.
“She’s pregnant. Last time she was pregnant Mum had to send her the special soup that Mum makes, just so Ginny could keep something down. But then again, Mum didn’t know she was pregnant. She just thought she had the flu. She couldn’t eat for a week until Mum sent that for her,” Ron said.
“When will these two idiots over there, unfreeze?” Charlie asked.
“Only Ginny can unfreeze them. I say leave them like that for a couple of days and see what happens,” Ron said.
“I second that opinion,” Bill said, appearing before them.
“We all agree to that opinion but if Mum found out we let those two stay frozen, she’d be on our hides quicker than lightning,” Charlie said.
“Yeah, well it’s me who decides how long they stay like that,” I said coming back into the living room.
“Ginny!” Percy said as he came up to me and engulfed me in a hug.
“Easy Perce, I’m pregnant not a teddy bear that you can squeeze to death,” I said trying to get out of his deathly teddy bear hug.
“Sorry Gin,” Percy said.
“Ginny, I’ll give you a hug. Not like Percy but I can still give you a hug,” Bill said.
“Bill! Merlin! I haven’t seen you in ages!” I said as I went over to him and went into his arms.
“So, how far are you?” Bill asked.
“To be honest, I haven’t the slightest clue. I only found out last night from Draco’s older sister. Just this morning, morning sickness started in on me,” I said.
“Well don’t you think you should find out?” Charlie asked.
“Oh Charlie, don’t worry. I’ll find out eventually,” I said.
“No, we’re taking you to see a doctor right now. We can just leave those two like they are. I say don’t unfreeze them for at least three days,” Charlie said.
“Ok, fine with me,” Ginny said.
Just as I was about to go home, Charlie grabbed my hand and apparated us to the doctor’s office.
“Hello, what can I do for you?” a nurse asked as they appeared.
“Hello, my sister, Ginny needs to know how far along she is in her pregnancy,” Charlie said to the nurse.
“Ok, come with me dear,” the nurse said.
“I’ll wait for you out here,” Charlie said.
All I had to do was to glare at him for what he had just did.
It’s for her own good, Charlie thought.
“I told you, I’d find out later,” I said to his mind.
I followed the nurse to leave a very confused Charlie behind.
“Ok, just stick your finger in this and then I’ll be right back with the results,” the nurse said to me.
She held out a little gadget. It looked like while I put my finger in it.
“Ouch!” I cried out.
“Sorry about that dear. It needs a sample of your blood to find the information,” the nurse said. “Now if you will just wait here in this room. It’ll only be a couple of minutes.”
“Sure,” I said as I sat in the chair.
About five minutes later the nurse came back in the room and said, “Congratulations dear. You’re two months along. It has the information of the baby’s sex too. Would you like to know that information?”
“I shouldn’t ask but yes I do. I made a bet with my soon-to-be husband about it but then again I want to know the answer. I bet it was a boy, he bet it was a girl,” I said.
“Well, you’re going to win that bet. It’s a boy,” the nurse said.
“Yes! Thank-you,” I said.
“Your welcome,” the nurse said, “I’m just curious but what does he have to do once he loses the bet?”
“Oh, he gets to get up during the night when the baby wakes up the second whole week after the baby is born,” I said.
“Oh,” the nurse said laughing a little bit. “See you later then.”
“Later, thanks,” I said as I left.
I went back out to where Charlie was.
“So? What did you find out?” Charlie asked.
“I’m two months along,” I said. “And the other thing she told me you have to promise me that you won’t tell anyone else about it.”
“Sure, I promise. What is it?” Charlie asked.
“It’s a boy,” I said.
“That’s great Ginny! But why can’t anybody else know about it?” Charlie asked.
“Oh, Draco and I made a bet about it this morning. He’s going to be staying up with the baby the second week after it’s born, when it wakes up in the nights, wanting those midnight feedings,” I said.
“I bet he’ll love that,” Charlie said as he chuckled a little bit. “Shall we go back to Ron’s flat?”
“No, but if you’d like you could apparate with me to the manor,” I said.
“Ok, you lead,” Charlie said. “After I leave you with Draco, I’ll go back to Ron and them and tell them how far you are.”
“Ok, thanks,” I said as I grabbed his hand and apparated to the manor.
“Ginny!” Draco said as I appeared back in the manor. “Where the heck have you been? It’s been hours since you left.”
“Don’t worry, Draco. I’m fine. I went to Ron’s flat, ended up giving both Fred and George a black eye, got sick again, came back to see Ron giving Fred another black eye, froze Fred first, warned George not to touch Ron, the twit didn’t listen, took a swing at Ron but didn’t make it since I froze him too. Then the other three showed up, got sick again. Percy about squeezed me to death, Charlie took me to the doctor’s office to see how far I was, found out I’m two months along. The nurse wanted to tell me what the sex of the baby was but I wouldn’t let her tell me, then here I am here,” I finished saying.
Liar! You did let her tell you. Charlie said in his mind to me.
Shut-up Charlie. I said back to his mind.
“Oh yeah, and we’re leaving those two frozen for at least three days,” I said.
“Looks like you handled it well enough,” Draco said as he put his arms around her.
Dang, she’s sexy! Draco thought. Wish I could of seen her take a swing at her own brothers.
“Yeah, you wish,” I said back to his mind.
The morning sickness started to wear off for the day.
“Where’s your mother and Caitlyn?” I asked.
“Oh they had to leave,” Draco said.
“Ok,” I said and then turned to Charlie. “Thanks Charlie for taking me home. See you later.”
“See you. Bye Draco,” Charlie said as he left.
“Well now that we’re all alone what shall we do?” I asked.
“Oh I’ve got an idea,” Draco said as he began to nibble at her ear.
Dead sexy, no better yet, dead, gorgeous, beautiful sexy, Draco thought knowing that she’d hear him. Then said in his mind, I’d love to make love to her at this moment.
“You read my mind. Let’s go,” I said as I grabbed his hand and apparated to their bedroom.
AN: thanks for the reviews lately. I should have mentioned this before I started writing or rather putting my stories up on portkey. But if anyone has not already noticed, if you make me mad, I’m most likely to speak my mind to you. I know Draco seems out of character but quite honestly, if we all never had our point of views on how the story would develop in our own minds, then how on earth would we be able extend our imagination? It would just totally be unbelievably boring. And to one reviewer, I’m not sure which chapter it was, but if Draco seems like he’s acting like a baby then either you’re imagining that or you read it wrong. I do not intend for Draco to sound as if he’s one big crying baby.
Chapter 14: Wedding, it’s about time
Three months later…
We were sitting in the dining room going over plans.
“Draco?” I asked as they were going through wedding plans.
“Hmm?” Draco responded.
“Let’s elope,” I said.
“What?” Draco asked now totally alert.
“Let’s elope. I’m sick and tired of wedding plans. I want to jump forward,” I said.
“But I thought you wanted a wedding with all of your family there,” Draco said.
“I do, but then again it won’t matter if they’re there or not. All I want is you,” I said.
And I’m pretty sure you want to see me under the moonlight by the lake, I said to his mind.
Next thing I knew, Draco’s lips were right on mine. His tongue was tracing my lips wanting her to open them. I opened them. Our tongues danced to a rhythm.
I then jumped at that movement of the baby for the first time as Draco kissed me.
This startled Draco.
“Why did you jump?” Draco asked.
“Put your hand on my stomach and then kiss me again,” I said.
Draco put his hand on my stomach and then kissed me again. Like before, the baby moved. He smiled as he kissed me deeply. Again the baby moved like before but this time also kicked me.
“Oww!” I said as I pulled out of the kiss.
“What is it?” Draco asked.
“He kicked me,” I said. “Your son just kicked me.”
“Or she kicked you,” Draco said. “Your daughter just kicked you.”
“Sorry, love but it’s a boy. I can feel it,” I said.
“We’ll see about that when the time comes,” Draco said and then kissed me again. Not too deeply, afraid if he did then the baby would kick me again.
Draco pulled out and asked, “So what are we going to name this kid if it is a boy?”
“I don’t know. What do you think it should be?” I asked.
“I wasn’t focusing on boy names,” Draco said.
“Ok, if it’s a girl then what name?” I asked.
“Hmm… Elizabeth Nicole, Lizzie for short,” Draco said.
“I like it. But too bad it won’t be used,” I said.
“That’s what you think,” Draco said as he began to tickle her.
“No! Draco, stop!” I squealed. Sometimes he knew just what to do for me to give in.
“Say you’ll quit calling it, him, instead of it; It could easily be a girl,” Draco said as he continued to tickle me.
The longer I wouldn’t say it, the louder I squealed.
Charlie was right, she does get loud. Draco thought.
“Give in yet?” Draco asked still tickling me.
“No!” I said.
“And why won’t you say it?” Draco asked.
“Because I know I’m right,” I said as I managed to get one hand free. I then froze part of him.
“Ginny! Come on, you weren’t playing fair,” Draco said.
“Me! You weren’t playing fair! Cornering me like that. Can you honestly say that you don’t want a son?” I asked with a more serious tone in my voice as I unfroze him.
“Of course I do, Ginny. But this doesn’t mean that this will be the last time I get you pregnant,” Draco said coming a little closer to me.
“So am I just a machine to you?” I asked getting a little sensitive considering my hormone level.
“No sweetie. I don’t think of you like that and you know it. I love you and I couldn’t care less if it was a boy or a girl. Just as long it’s one of them,” Draco said with a smile as he came closer to me.
“So, are we going to elope?” I asked cheering up a bit.
“You really want to skip all of this stupid planning and elope?” Draco asked.
“Yes I do. I also just want you,” I said as I kissed him.
“Ok, we’ll elope. Just tell me when and we’ll do it,” Draco said and then kissed her again.
“Today,” I said right before I deepened the kiss.
{Just to put this in your minds, Virginia is staying with Caitlyn and Narcissa while Draco and Ginny are on their honeymoon.}
Later in the day…
“And you may kiss your bride now,” the reverend said.
Draco then leaned into me, placing a hand behind my back steadying me and kissed me gently.
Later in the day…
“I love you,” I said as they were under the moonlight out by the lake.
“I love you too,” Draco said as he began to nibble at my ear, “You’re finally mine.”
“And glad to be also,” I said.
Draco grinned as he kissed me.
“Ginny, I don’t want to hurt the baby,” Draco said.
“Draco, you’re not going to. Each time you touch me the baby moves. Sweetie, just make love to me,” I said in his ear seductively.
~*~
He touched her stomach and could feel the baby going practically crazy with movements nonstop.
“So how was that for under the moonlight?” I asked innocently.
“You know how it was. I’m only sorry the baby kept kicking you,” Draco said. “Is it still moving like wildfire?”
“Yes, let’s go home. I think if I was actually in our bed and not on this rock then the baby might settle down,” I said.
“Ok,” Draco said grabbing my hand and apparated us to our own bed. “How does that feel?”
“Better. Thank-you,” I said as I leaned my head onto his chest.
He put his hand on my stomach. The baby kicked me hard this time.
I sucked in air, trying to breathe.
“What is it?” Draco asked, noticing my sudden immediate need for air.
“Draco, don’t touch my stomach. Every time you do, the baby kicks me for three minutes straight,” I said as the baby kicked me once again.
“Ok,” Draco said as he put his arms around me.
I turned to him and then whispered in his ear, “Make love to me again.”
“What about the baby? It’ll kick you again,” Draco said concerned of me being in any pain because of him.
“I’ll live,” I said. “It’ll be ok. Besides, I think it’s starting to settle down. And right now, if it doesn’t like you touching me then it’ll have to live with it. I’m not going to let the baby control me like it’s trying to do.”
He nibbled at my neck but as soon as he touched me, I gasped for air as the baby kicked me. He continued, remembering her words and kissed her deeply. Again I gasped for air and started to cry.
Draco stopped and said, “Gin, it’s no use. I can’t stand to see you hurting like that.”
“Just hold me then,” I said crying still because of the baby.
The next day I awoke in Draco’s arms. The baby had finally settled down enough for Draco to be able to settle his hands on my stomach without him kicking me fiercely.
About fifteen minutes later, I had already been out of the shower and dressed when I started having wild food cravings.
Just about anything sounded good at the moment; I went to the kitchen and started cooking; trying not to take a bite of the food every now and again while it cooked.
About half an hour later, Draco was already in the dining room eating when Ron showed up half out of breath.
“Ron! What in the world?” I asked. “Sit down.”
“No I can’t. Came by to speak with Draco,” Ron said.
“Well, what is it?” Draco asked.
“It’s Caitlyn. We were eating breakfast this morning and all of a sudden she blacks out,” Ron said.
“And you left her there alone?” Draco asked.
“No, Charlie and Percy were there too, along with Fred and George,” Ron said.
“Stay here with Ginny,” Draco said as he got up and apparated out to Caitlyn.
“Ginny, is that a wedding ring on your finger?” Ron asked.
“Yes, we eloped last night,” I said. “Please don’t tell Mum.”
“Ginny, she’ll eventually figure it out, like she did when you left Fred and George frozen for a week. She always finds out these things,” Ron said.
“I know but when we go to pick Virginia up at Draco’s mother’s house. We’ll tell her. Then go to Mum,” I said.
“Alright,” Ron said.
~*~
“Caitlyn!” Draco said as he came closer to her.
She moved slightly, “Careful, don’t move me. I feel dizzy.”
“Ok, then what’s wrong with you then?” Draco asked.
“Congrats little bro; you’re not only going to be a father again, you’re going to be an uncle,” Caitlyn said.
“How come women always faint when they first find out?” Draco asked.
“They don’t always. Just when they don’t expect it,” Caitlyn said.
“Let’s go,” Draco said.
“Where are we going?” Caitlyn asked.
“You’ll see,” Draco said as he grabbed her hand and apparated to the manor.
“Caitlyn!” Ron said as Draco and Caitlyn appeared.
Caitlyn then went into Ron’s arms as Draco spoke.
“Ron, Caitlyn has something to tell you,” Draco said as he went over to me and put his arm around me.
“What is it Caitlyn?” Ron asked.
Caitlyn whispered in his ear and then all of a sudden without warning Ron spun her around with excitement.
“Ron! I’m still dizzy,” Caitlyn said.
“Oh, sorry,” Ron said. “Come on, let’s go home. You’re going to finish eating. And don’t argue with me, I wouldn’t let Ginny argue with me so you’re not going to.”
“Ron, you only didn’t argue with me because I gave you a black eye the first time you argued with me like there was no tomorrow,” I said.
Draco laughed at this and said, “Was he this protective last time?”
“Much worse,” I said. “And if you get overprotective then you’ll be sleeping on the couch the rest of the time.”
“Got it,” Draco said as he kissed the side of my forehead.
“Ouch!” I said gripping my stomach.
“Damn! Every time I even touch you the baby will kick you,” Draco said getting irritated.
“Hey, Gin. May I speak with you for a moment alone?” Ron asked.
“Sure, if you can help me get up,” I said.
I was rather large for someone that was only five months pregnant.
Ron helped me up and then took my hand and apparated to his flat.
“Ron, what was so important that you had to drag me away from the manor?” I asked. “And from my honeymoon, I might add.”
“I wanted to show you something,” Ron said.
“What is it?” I asked.
“This,” Ron said as he showed her a ring.
“Ron, it’s beautiful! Is this for Caitlyn?” I asked.
“Yes, I plan on asking her to marry me soon,” Ron said.
“That’s great Ron!” I said as I hugged him and then gripped tightly onto him.
“Ginny, what’s wrong?” Ron said holding me steady so I didn’t fall.
“The baby,” I said. “He keeps kicking me whenever a male touches me. Well, except for Charlie and Bill, and for some odd reason, Percy.”
“Figures,” Ron said.
“What do you mean by that?” I asked getting a little shook up.
“Nothing, forget I said it,” Ron said trying to avoid my temper.
“Alright, you’re off the hook this time,” I said. “Is it safe to go back now?”
“Yes, you can go back to your honeymoon with Draco just along as you get Caitlyn to come back here. I think I’ll propose when she gets here,” Ron said.
“Ok,” I said with a smile on her face and then apparated home.
I landed a little unsteady and was about to fall when Draco caught me.
“Ginny, no offense but were you this big when you were pregnant with Virginia?” Draco asked.
“Not at five months I wasn’t,” I answered and then said to his mind, “No I wasn’t offended by that.”
“Good,” Draco said as came closer to me and then kissed me.
Caitlyn was still in the room as she was about to go when I spoke to her.
Ginny pulled out and said, “Oh Caitlyn, you might want to go to Ron’s flat. He has a very nice surprise planned for you.”
“Really? What kind of surprise?” Caitlyn asked getting curious.
“I’m not going to ruin it for you but let’s just say since he asked me to approve of it, I’d say it’s a good thing,” I said.
“Ok, bye you two,” Caitlyn said as she left.
“Now, where were we?” Draco asked.
“I believe it was here,” I said as I kissed him.
“No, I believe it was here,” Draco said as he nibbled at my neck.
“I want-“
“You want what, love?” Draco asked.
“You,” I said in his ear in a seductive way.
“Mmm, I think that can be arranged,” Draco flirted back.
“I bet it could be,” I said back.
Chapter 15: A Wild Craving Night to Remember
About two months later, I was lying in bed snuggling in Draco’s arms when I woke up with the wildest food craving. At the moment, it was at least 2:55 in the morning when I suddenly wanted food, sushi to be exact.
“Draco?” I asked trying to wake him up.
No answer.
“Draco? Wake up,” I said this time shaking him a little bit.
Still no answer.
I began to kiss him trying anything to get him to wake up.
It worked.
He pulled out and looked at her.
“What time is it?” Draco asked.
“Draco, I’m hungry,” I said.
“Hungry?” Draco asked turning to look at the clock, “It’s almost 3 in the morning. Can’t you wait another 5 hours for breakfast?”
“Please, Draco. I want sushi and sour, but yet sweet pickles,” I said.
“Are you sure? And at this hour?” Draco asked.
“Yes, now go. I’m hungry,” I said.
Draco, disgusted by the thought of those two foods mixed said, “Oh alright. I’ll be back.”
Draco apparated to the kitchen.
“Ok, where is a house elf when you need one?” Draco said to himself.
“Did sir need something sir?” Norky asked as she appeared before him.
“Yes. Ginny wants sushi and sour, but yet sweet pickles,” Draco said, still not believing that she made him get up for this.
“Go ahead back to Mrs.Malfoy. Norky will bring Mrs. Malfoy her food for you,” Norky said.
Draco apparated back to Ginny.
“Draco? Where’s the food?” I asked, extremely hungry.
“Right here, Mrs.Malfoy,” Norky said. “Norky has brought it for you. Is there anything else you need?”
“Uh no. No wait, yes,” I said. “Some tea would be nice.”
“Right away Mrs. Malfoy,” Norky said and then disappeared.
In about 5 seconds later the elf reappeared.
“Here is your tea, ma’am,” Norky said.
“Thank-you Norky,” I said.
“Anything else ma’am?” Norky asked.
“No, that’ll be all. Thank-you,” I said.
Norky then disappeared.
“Ginny, you’re way too nice to them,” Draco said as he watched me sip my tea.
“Oh relax Draco. It wouldn’t hurt you to be nice to them once in a while,” I said.
“Can’t believe you’re eating that,” Draco said, “it looks disgusting.”
“Thanks Draco. I’ll remember that next time you want to make love. Maybe I’ll just say ‘sorry, you look disgusting’,” I said.
“Ginny, -”
“Nope, I’m going to the kitchen to eat this. You’re obviously disgusted by me eating this. Ok, that’s fine. I’ll just go somewhere where you won’t have to watch me eat,” I said and then apparated to the kitchen.
“Did Mrs. Malfoy need anything else?” Suzuki asked. Suzuki, being another elf.
“No, but uh, could you bring me my tea from upstairs in the bedroom?” I asked. “And could I find a place to sit down?”
“Sure, right this way,” Corsie said as Suzuki went to get her tea.
{just remember, all the names that are kinda weird with some kind of e sound at the end, is a house elf}
“Thank-you Corsie,” I said.
“Here you go Mrs. Malfoy,” Suzuki said appearing with her tea.
“Thank-you Suzuki,” I said.
“Anything else you would like?” Suzuki asked.
“Would one of you stay here to keep me company?” I asked.
“No need for that. Suzuki, I’d like some tea also,” Draco said as he appeared.
“Yes Sir. Right away,” Suzuki said.
In less than 5 seconds later, Suzuki appeared with his tea.
“Here you are Sir,” Suzuki said.
“Say thank-you,” I said to his mind.
Draco grunted and then said in his nicest way possible towards the elf and said, “Thank-you. You can go now.”
“That was better. Still a little rude but not as quite like it used to be,” I said.
“Ginny,” Draco said, “I didn’t come down here to be preached to.”
“Is that so?” I said putting her food and tea down and then tried to get up.
I finally managed by pulling on a piece of wood near me to help me up.
“Ginny-“
“Un-uh. You said you didn’t want to be preached to, isn’t that right?” I asked.
“Yes I did but-“
“No buts. I’m going. Don’t follow me,” I said.
“Where are you going?” Draco asked.
“I don’t know where. Don’t worry, I’ll be back,” I said.
“Ginny, please don’t go,” Draco said reaching his arm out to me.
I turned back to him and looked into his eyes.
“Ok, I’m listening,” I said.
“Ginny, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to say those things. But I’m just not used to this wild food craving stage of yours and not at this hour too,” Draco said hoping that I’d calm down a bit.
“Ok but you gotta remember that this probably won’t be the last time I wake you up in the night for food,” I said.
“Understandable. Now can we go back to bed?” Draco asked.
“Yes, let’s go,” I said taking his hand and apparating to the bed.
Before he could say anything, I already had my lips on his.
Draco responded instantly to the kiss, putting his hand on my stomach wanting to feel the baby move.
“Sorry honey, but the baby isn’t moving right now,” I said as I pulled out for a second.
“It will,” Draco said as he then started to kiss me deeply.
With a swift movement, the baby moved.
“See what did I tell you?” Draco asked.
“Oh just hush and just kiss me already,” I said.
He kissed me.
I deepened the kiss.
I pulled out and said, “Goodnight sweetie.”
“What?” Draco asked.
“Draco, I don’t feel like kissing anymore. I want to sleep. I want to be in your arms while I sleep,” I said.
“Alright,” Draco said as he put his arms around me while I fell asleep.
Chapter 16: Dreams Come True
It had been 2 weeks later when Draco had come up to me, took my hand in his, kissed me gently on the forehead and then led me outside of our home.
“Draco, sweetie? Where are we going?” I asked.
Draco turned to me and said, “Don’t worry sweetheart, you’re safe. You just let me take of things.”
The way he had said it had been mysterious, and my Draco, well… just wasn’t mysterious. Instead of questioning him, I just let him lead. I tried to read his mind about maybe I could find something useful about where we were going. But apparently, he thought ahead of that because that didn’t get anywhere.
“Draco?” I asked. “Please tell me where we’re going. It’s dark and I can’t see.”
“No, I’m not telling you where I’m taking you. You’ll just have to wait and see,” Draco answered. “Just trust me sweetheart. I know it’s dark out here but I know what I’m doing. I won’t let anything happen to you or our baby.”
“What about Virginia? Where is she?” I asked.
“She’s with your brother Charlie,” Draco answered, rather quickly.
“Draco…” I said.
Before I could continue to speak, Draco turned and looked at me straight in the eyes. He came closer to me and then kissed me lightly.
Draco then took my hand and apparated us to the most beautiful rose garden I had ever seen. I looked around the garden. It had a swing set for two, with a hammock to match on the nearest tree to the east of it.
“It’s enchanted. It’s our new home,” Draco said, interrupting my thoughts.
“I thought we had a home,” I said.
“We do, we just have two. We’ll use the manor while our children are young and this home as our get away vacation home,” Draco said.
“It’s on a deserted island just outside of the Muggle land named Alaska, but I’ve enchanted it to where it’s not as freezing as it was before. I’ve named it Island of Copoca,” Draco continued.
I looked at him in awe. I never thought he’d do this for me. It was just as I had described it once in my diary, back in Hogwarts.
“You remembered?” I asked.
“Well…” Draco said, putting his hand at his chin and thought as if he really was thinking.
But I knew by the way he did that, that he was teasing.
“Draco,” I said, trying to urge him to answer my question sooner.
“Yes I remembered,” Draco said, looking into my eyes. “How could I not sweetheart?”
I looked at him with a smile to match.
Draco continued as I saw that he pulled out something from his pocket, “Ginny, I love you and you’ll always belong to my heart. If I am the same to you then would you please accept this gift?”
He held it out in his hand for me to take. I took it and opened it.
It was the most beautiful ring I had ever seen. It was at least 14 karat gold, for the ring itself. In the center of the ring, it had a beautiful blue sapphire stone with beautifully cut little diamonds encircling it around the stone.
A tear then rolled down my cheek as I looked up towards Draco and said with yet, another tear rolling down my cheek, “Yes, Draco yes.”
Draco then took the ring from my hand and gently placed it on my finger. He then said the words that I had heard so many times that every time they were said, I’d gloat all over again.
“I love you, sweetheart,” Draco said, taking me up into his arms and embraced me with a sweet, gentle, passionate, romantic kiss.
The End
Stay tuned for the epilogue…
Epilogue
We were having dinner with Ron and Caitlyn in the manor one night, when I looked at the clock on the wall and read the time. It was time for Virginia to be heading up to bed. As usual, she was talking up a storm to her Aunt Caitlyn and Uncle Ron. Caitlyn was now 6 months along and I was due any second.
“Ginny, isn’t it time that Virginia should go to bed?” Draco asked, as if he had read my thoughts.
“Yes, come here, sweetie,” I said as I tried to get up.
“Ginny, let me. Please?” Caitlyn asked.
“Sure, that’s fine,” I said, agreeing because evidently I wasn’t getting out of this seat.
Caitlyn then went off with Virginia.
“So Gin, what are you two going to name the baby?” Ron asked.
“I don’t know Ron. We haven’t really thought about it,” I said. I really hadn’t honestly thought about names. You probably are saying, well why not? Haven’t you even thought about it?
Honestly? No I had not.
“You mean you haven’t really thought about it. We already know if it’s a girl then name is Elizabeth Nicole, Lizzie for short,” Draco corrected.
“Too bad it won’t be used,” I said, knowing my secrets.
“I don’t see you coming up with a name,” Draco said.
I thought on this for a minute and then said, “Adrian Draco. There see now my son has a name.”
I looked towards Ron and said, “Ron would you help me up please?”
Ron then helped me up.
“Where are you going?” Draco asked.
“Don’t worry, I’m fine. I’m going to bed now,” I said as I left the room, with my arm hooked through Ron’s.
About five minutes later I came back in with panic on my face.
“Ginny? What’s wrong?” Ron asked.
“Help,” I said clinging onto something that was the closest thing to me while I tried to stay on my feet.
“What’s the matter, love?” Draco asked.
I looked at him in the eyes. How could he not know what was going on?
“Draco…we’re going to see who wins the bet pretty soon.”
“Ginny, what are you talking about?” Draco asked not catching the hint.
“Draco, get me to the hospital,” I said.
Draco got up instantly and then was immediately by my side helping me to a chair.
“Draco, I said hospital not chair,” I said.
I then grabbed a hold of Draco’s hand as pain swept through me.
“Draco, you take her to the hospital. Caitlyn and I will stay with Virginia,” Ron said.
“I can’t apparate,” I breathed in pain.
“You’re not going to either,” Draco said. “You’re going by the St. Mungo’s emergency bus.”
As if on cue, the bus had arrived. And not to mention right in the manor dining area.

Caitlyn then came back in the room and said, “Where did they go?”
“Hospital,” Ron answered.
“Well, shouldn’t we be there with them?” Caitlyn asked.
“No, I told them we’d stay with Virginia,” Ron said.
“Oh, ok,” Caitlyn said.
~*~
“Come on Ginny! You can do it,” Draco said as I gripped his hand like there was no tomorrow.
I heard a baby’s cries. But yet I still felt pain.
“It’s a boy!” a nurse said.
Draco watched as the doctor handed over their newborn baby to a nurse.
He was confused at the moment. The pain should have stopped by now; their son was just born.
Draco said, “Ginny, why are you putting a death grip on my hand when it’s over?”
“Draco, it’s not over. No wonder I was so big at five months,” I said as I then pushed with all the energy I had left in my body.
Again I heard a baby’s cries and this time, the pain was no longer there.
“A girl!” the nurse said.
“Well, looks like we get to use both names. Wonder who one the bet,” Draco said.
“We both did,” Ginny said as her head went back against the pillow.
“Here’s your son and here is your daughter,” a nurse said as two nurses came up to me and handed them to me.
“Draco?” I asked.
“Hmm?”
“Do me a favor?” I asked.
“What is it?” Draco asked.
“Don’t get me pregnant again for at least another eight months. You do and you’ll be sleeping outside in a hammock the whole time,” I said.
“Yes Ginny,” Draco said looking at his newborn son and daughter and kissed me on the forehead and then the twins, from firstborn to second-born.
“Well, isn’t it about time we said their names?” I asked.
“Yes it is,” Draco said, “hello Elizabeth Nicole Malfoy, Lizzie for short.”
“Hello Adrian Draco Malfoy,” I said to my son.
Both of the babies went to sleep in my arms as we said their names.
“Guess we’ll both be up that second week,” Draco said.
“Wrong. We’ll both be up every time they wake us up,” I said.
“Wrong again,” Draco said, “we’ll take turns getting up.”
“That sounds better,” I said leaning into him retrieving a sweet gentle kiss.
