Chapter 1: Pack of Owls
It was a hot summer afternoon when Harry had turned 16 years old. As usual, the Dursleys... didn't care at all about his birthday, but however his friends from Hogwarts did.
Upstairs in his room, were six owls waiting for him, one of which he didn't recognize, even the slightest bit, and one had a package tied to it.
Harry closed the door behind him and sat down on his bed and started for the letter on Hedwig's leg. Harry opened the letter, said thank-you to Hedwig, who gladly accepted his thanks and then went to sleep.
Dear Harry,
Hope you're doing well. Happy Birthday! See you in Diagon Alley soon, I hope.
Love,
Hermione
Harry then took a letter from one of the other owls, Ron's in fact. Harry grabbed the note from Ron off of
the bird's leg and began reading...
Dear Harry,
Happy Birthday! I know it may not be much of a birthday, with the Dursleys’ and all, but at least you’ll be able to get your driver’s license for a car. Would you like to come stay with us until school starts? We’ll be there on Monday morning if that’s ok. I’ll tell dad not to floo considering what happened last time. Owl back if that’s not ok.
- Ron
This’ll be great! Harry thought. No more Dursleys! Yay!
Next came from the owl he didn't recognize. Harry took the letter from the bird, then all of the sudden, it vanished into thin air and Harry’s eyes were starting to get big as he started to read the letter...
Dear Harry,
Happy Birthday! Doing great, I presume. I have some wonderful news for you. Please come to me your second day back at Hogwarts. The password is larkspur. Be sure to copy this down if you need to cause right when you put this letter down, it'll vanish. Again, Happy Birthday! See you then, Harry.
Yours truly,
Albus
Dumbledore
What does he need to tell me? Harry wondered.
Harry quickly copied down the password and put it in his trunk. Like Dumbledore had said, when Harry put down the letter, it vanished.
"Three down, three to go," Harry said as he reached for another letter. He took the letter off the bird's leg, and off it went sailing right between the window doors, almost hitting one of the doors as it flew out.
Harry opened the letter and read...
Dated 06-28-01
Dear Harry,
If you start getting these letters that have been outdated since before who knows when, then I’ll be no longer with you, or at least physically. But always remember that I’ll always be watching over you, although your mother would fight me for being your guardian angel some of the time.
Hope you're having a nice birthday, which is besides the fact about the Dursleys. If they even harm you in any way, tell me and I'll be there before you could say shucks a million times in a row. Well I’ve decided that its time that you could keep something of you mother's. It’s her wedding ring. Well I've got to go. Happy Birthday Harry! Keep you mother's ring safe. I mean it Harry, she’d probably forbid me from watching over you some of the time if you’d lost the ring.
Love,
Sirius
Harry then, with eyes watering at the thought of Sirius, wrapped the ring up and tucked it in between some of his things in his trunk for protection.
Two more, he thought, was one of em’ from Hagrid, maybe?
Harry opened it to find that it wasn't from Hagrid, but just his list of supplies for the next year.
Harry took the package from the owl as it flew off. He opened it to find a book entitled, Quidditch Through The Ages.
Wow! I owe Hermione a little treat for this. Harry thought.
Harry then began packing to go to Ron’s.
Right then he went down to his aunt and uncle, he told them that he'd be leaving Monday morning to go to a friend's house.
As he suspected, they were thrilled, as usual every other time that he was leaving. It was only two days away. He then went back up to his room. By that time, it was already time to go to bed.
What about Hagrid? I usually get a letter from him on my birthday, why not this year? Harry thought.
Harry then had finished packing for Monday. The next day seemed to go by rather quickly. He also got a letter from Hagrid that same day, saying that he was sorry his letter was a day late. By that time, it was already time to go to sleep and wait for Ron and Mr. Weasley the next day.
Chapter 2: Wonders Embedded in Mind
Morning arrived rather quickly, he woke up about an hour before Ron would arrive.
Harry brought down his trunk, ate some breakfast then sat on his trunk and waited.
It was about thirty minutes until 7 when Aunt Petunia came strolling down the stairs and with a surprising smile on her face.
When was the last time I saw her smile like that? Harry thought, totally surprised.
She looked as if something was on her mind. Harry had been in a some what surprised trance as she began to speak to him.
"Harry, I was wondering... would you talk with me in the kitchen? I promise I won't make you cook this morning," Aunt Petunia had said with a rather surprising look on her face; a face that Harry wasn't used to.
Harry wondered what she would want to talk to him about, so he followed her into the kitchen.
"What's this about, Aunt Petunia?" Harry asked in a very questionable voice and with a troubled look on his face.
"Well, I wanted to talk to you about your mother, Lily. I was told that it was time to give you this," Aunt Petunia had said as she handed Harry a necklace.
"It was one of the things your mother wore on her wedding day. It was quite a wonderful place to see in your other world. The necklace is one of the first things that your father, James, gave to Lily. Keep it safe, a man by the name of Dumbledore wrote to me and told me to give it to you. I'm sorry I didn't give it to you earlier, but I thought now would have been a good of a time as any," Aunt Petunia said with a comforting voice.
Harry could get used to that voice any time.
"Thanks... Aunt Petunia? Why did you despise my mother so much?" Harry asked.
Aunt Petunia looked up from the frying pan with bacon in it and paused for a second and said," Harry, to be honest, it's mainly cause I too, wanted to be a witch, like your mother. When it came that day for her to go off, I was so happy, I almost thought that I was for sure that I 'd get a letter too, when I was old enough. But when that day came, I was very upset because I had not received a letter. Lily, even spoke to Dumbledore to see if there were some mistake, perhaps. But his answer was no, he said because I had despised her so much that was the reason why I didn't get to go." Aunt Petunia paused for a minute or two before she continued.
While Harry waited in silence for another or more of an answer, he thought, she actually wanted to go?
Before Aunt Petunia could continue, the doorbell rang.
Harry went to see to the door. It was Ron and Mr. Weasley.
He opened the door and let them in.
Aunt Petunia was standing in the background watching.
“Hullo Harry,” Ron said.
“Hi Ron,” Harry said looking at his best friend other than Hermione for almost 6 years now.
"Hullo Harry. Ready yet?" Mr.
Weasley asked.
“Yes,” Harry answered and then turned to Aunt Petunia.
“Harry, you don’t have to say anything. I know I certainly have surprised you this morning by being nice to you and I bet your mother has probably turned in her grave by now, on account of I’ve never really treated you like you should have been treated. I’m sorry and when you return for the summer next year I’ll have something more for you,” Aunt Petunia said.
Harry, Ron, and Mr. Weasley looked at her with shock. And also another pair of eyes, standing nearby them watching her son and her sister have a decent conversation. She wanted so desperately to reach out to him but could only watch over him from a distance, like an angel. She was his guardian angel, or at least that’s what she thought.
“Lily, leave him alone now. As you can see, he’s safe,” a voice said only to where she could hear.
“I know Siri but I wanted to see him. He reminds me so much of James. I just want to reach out and take him in my arms and never let go,” Lily answered.
“Lily, let’s go,” Sirius said.
Lily nodded and disappeared from Petunia’s household. Sirius followed in the same pattern.
“Well, I guess we’d better get going. Molly wants us home by at least supper time. If we don’t want her to be upset at us for not making it then we’d better get going,” Mr. Weasley said interrupting the weird eerie silence that followed Petunia’s last words.
“Right, well good-bye Harry,” Petunia said.
“Good-bye Aunt Petunia,” Harry said.
Harry picked up his trunks, along with Hedwig in her cage and went out the door.
A couple of minutes along the road in the car Ron started to speak.
"Uh, Harry? I’m not sure what just happened but uh… what did just happen?”
"I don’t really know myself. One minute I’m downstairs enjoying the quiet and the next she’s strolling down the stairs with a smile that I never thought I’d see. She gave me my mother’s necklace. The one my mother wore in her wedding. Aunt Petunia said that my dad gave it to her,” Harry said.
“Harry, was that the first time she’d ever been that nice to you?” Mr. Weasley asked.
“It’s the first that I know of,” Harry said.
A couple of hours passed. They were close to the Burrow but still had a few hours to go.
“Mr. Weasley?” Harry asked.
“Yes and call me Arthur please,” Arthur said.
“Sure ok, well, Arthur is there something that I’m supposed to know about my parents that I don’t know already?” Harry asked.
“What do you mean Harry?”
“Well, I got a letter from Sirius the other day, and it was one of his that he’d previous-
“A deminsity letter,” Arthur interrupted.
“A what?” Ron asked.
“A deminsity letter, it’s a letter that someone, like Sirius, has chosen to write before a time comes to where he’d would literally wouldn’t be able to write anymore, like in Sirius’s case, meaning being dead,” Arthur said.
“He included my mother’s wedding ring. And then this morning Aunt Petunia gave me my mother’s necklace. Both of which, she wore on her wedding day. I was wondering, should this be leading up to something?” Harry asked.
“That’s a good question Harry but for one, I really don’t know and for two, even if I did know the answer to that I wouldn’t be able to tell you. Do you understand what I’m saying?” Arthur asked.
“Yes I think I do,” Harry said.
Arthur looked in his rear view mirror and looked at Harry. Ron had been right; Harry really does need to know more about his parents. He knew the answer to Harry’s question but simply couldn’t say anything to him about it. He’d made a promise to Lily long ago and he couldn’t find himself to face up to his promise to her. It pained him to see Harry like this.
Lily watched from behind. Seeing Arthur’s face as he remembered his promise to her, reminded her of that very promise. She knew it very well too. She was the one who forced him to promise her the truth.
Lily then looked over at her son. She looked directly into his eyes.
His eyes were very precisely hers, no mistake about it; she could clearly see that even his hair could be linked to being James’ son. James… Harry was a reflection of his father.
She saw sadness take over him as his thoughts were rambling about. She knew that look. James always had it when he was lost. He’d always get lost in his own thoughts. No one really could ever manage to get him to come back to reality when this happened, that is before Lily broke that barrier with a kiss.
Lily had memorized his looks and what they usually meant. Harry, if she wasn’t mistaken, had those same qualities. She knew then that soon, would he find the truth he rightfully deserved.
Lily knew then that Harry’s mind had been embedded with questions and some even without answers.

Chapter 3: Mixture of Different Feelings
They arrived at the Burrow 6 hours later.
“Ron?” Arthur said, trying to wake his sleeping son.
“Harry?”
Neither one stirred.
Guess I’ll just have to levitate them upstairs, Arthur thought.
Lily watched from behind as Arthur levitated her son and Ron upstairs.
Molly, of course, argued with Arthur for them to at least wake up and eat something but Arthur insisted that they let them sleep.
“Arthur, come on their growing boys. They need their strength. So, I’d advise you to let them eat,” Molly said.
“Molly, I know that but think of the time it is. It’s midnight. I don’t think they should be awake and eating right now. I’m sorry dear but I’m taking them up to bed,” Arthur said, and then went up the stairs with Harry and Ron’s bodies floating in front of him.
The next morning, Ron and Harry woke up in a bed instead of in a car.
“Morning Harry,” Ron said.
“Morning Ron… What’s that smell? It smells good,” Harry said.
Ron stopped for a minute and then said, “Oh…that must be Mum cooking breakfast. Let’s go.”
“In that case, I’ll beat you down there,” Harry said as he took off, leaving Ron behind.
“Hey! No fair! You got a head start!” Ron yelled after him.
“You snooze, you loose!” Harry said in response.
Harry came to a sudden stop.
Ron ran right into him, not able to slow down enough.
Harry and Ron then went tumbling on the floor.
From a distance, you could hear and feel a large thump as they hit the ground.
“Harry! Ron! What on earth!” Molly exclaimed.
“Ouch!” Ron said rubbing his forehead.
“Ron, did you have to run into me?” Harry asked.
“Boys enough!” a loud voice said that was heard from across the room.
“Sorry Dad,” Ron said.
“Breakfast!” a voice bellowed from the kitchen.
“Let’s go boys,” Arthur said heading towards his seat in the kitchen.
Harry and Ron followed; along with Fred, George, Percy, and Charlie.
About half an hour later….
“Mummy!” a voice called out.
Molly looked towards her daughter, who was at the moment racing down the stairs.
“Ginny, don’t run down those stairs again. Got it?” Molly asked sternly.
“Yes Mum,” Ginny said.
“Morning sweetheart,” Arthur said cheerfully.
“Morning Daddy,” Ginny replied.
Ginny looked at the food and said, “Again? Mother, really? This is the third time this week. I don’t know about you but I’d say that bacon and eggs, with biscuits and gravy can be quite good but only if you don’t wear it out. And you mother have really-
“Ginny,” Arthur said, “just sit down and eat. Just be glad your mother cooks for you and not the other way around.”
“Yes Daddy,” Ginny said and then sat down next to her father.
As she sat down she looked to the other side of the table to see Harry.
“Hello Ginny,” Harry said cheerfully.
“Ugh! Too much cheerfulness; sorry everyone but I can’t stand it any longer. I’m heading out for a bit of fresh air. And just to warn you: If any of you try to follow me you’ll be wanting your death wish to arrive sooner than it should,” Ginny said as she got up and walked away.
Harry looked at Ron with awe.
“Ron, what just happened?” Harry asked.
“Ginny turned from a pre-teen to a fifteen-year-old girl with raging hormones,” Ron said.
“Ron, don’t make our baby sister sound like a lab rat experiment gone wrong,” Charlie said. “No Harry. She… well…she has her moments. And Ron please don’t make her sound otherwise.”
Once they were both finished breakfast, Harry went upstairs to unpack.
“Hey Harry, need any help?” Ron asked entering his room.
“Uh… No thanks Ron. I think I about got it,” Harry said.
“Ok,” Ron said. “Harry, may I ask you a question?”
“Ron you’re my best friend you can ask me anything,” Harry said.
“Do you remember anything about your parents? I was thinking about what you said on the way up here in the car earlier and I thought maybe her wedding ring was maybe leading up to something if you remember anything about them,” Ron said.
“That’s a good theory Ron but no I hardly remember anything about them, except some song that keeps popping into my head once in a while when I’m really tired and about to drift asleep,” Harry said.
“Could that mean possibly something?” Ron asked.
“Well, my mum could have sung it to me when I was a baby once I guess but I really don’t know,” Harry said.
“Well then how else would you remember it?” Ron asked.
“Good point. She probably did. But then the other day, the night before my 16th birthday I had a dream,” Harry explained.
“What was the dream about?” Ron asked.
Lily stood behind as she watched Harry tell his dream to Ron. Lily had purposely sent him that dream. She sent it for two reasons: One being, so it would point him on the right track about his past and the past before him. Two, mainly cause she wanted to see him looking for mainly her and James, for personal reasons.
“But Harry, how do you know that, that’s going to be true. You aren’t a seer. It was just a dream. How could you possibly know that it’s true?” Ron asked, after being told of Harry’s dream.
“I just do Ron. I can’t explain why I believe it’s true or going to be true or whatever, but at least I know what I’m after,” Harry argued.
1 week later…
“Hermione, I need to know,” Harry pleaded, as he looked into her eyes.
“Harry, I don’t see why you need them. They’re just a bunch of old records. And if it’s about your mother’s ring and necklace… I highly doubt that there’s going to be a record over a ring and a necklace,” Hermione answered back.
“Hermione! Please?” Harry pleaded again.
Hermione looked into his eyes. He was desperate, for basically anything about his mother and/or father. She could see it plainly on his face.
“Ok, I’ll look for you,” Hermione said, giving into the look on his face.
Before Hermione got a chance to say anymore than she had already done, she was engulfed in a pair of arms.
“Thank-you Mione,” Harry said. “You’re the greatest!”
“Your welcome Harry but-“ Hermione started to say but was interrupted.
“Did you have to say that word in your sentence?” Harry asked.
“Don’t I always most of the time?” Hermione asked.
“Yeah I guess,” Harry said. “So, what’s the catch?”
3 days later….
“Did you find anything?” Ron asked.
“No, I told him that there probably wouldn’t be anything to go on. I mean, come on… what record would have a necklace and a ring in it?” Hermione asked.
“I know,” Ron said. “But Mione, you know how he is right now. He’s desperate to find out… What’s he trying to find out anyways? I’m not real sure myself.”
“Good question. I wish I had the answer to it,” Hermione said.
“Do you think he’ll find what he’s looking for?” Ron asked, several minutes later.
“If he sets his mind to it, he’ll find it,” Hermione said.
“Hermione, I said do you think he’ll find it. Not, the wisdom answer,” Ron said.
“Oh alright,” Hermione said. “Ok, no I really don’t think he will.”
“That’s what I thought,” Ron said. “Now, to make it to where it’d make sense with your first answer then we must try to believe in it too, right?”
“Yeah, I guess you’re right,” Hermione said.
“Don’t guess, it won’t help us or Harry,” Ron said.
“Ron? Do me a favor?” Hermione said, getting aggravated.
“Anything,” Ron answered.
“Shut-up will you? I’m tired and I really don’t want to listen to you bossing me around,” Hermione said, and then swiftly left the room.
“Dude, what was that about?” a voice said, coming into the room.
“I don’t know,” Ron answered. “Must be girl hormones. Ginny has em’ all the time.”
Harry shrugged, “Should we go after her?”
“No man, never go after a girl with hormones. It’s a dangerous territory to enter,” Ron said.
“Good advice but I’d like to see what’s going on. I’m going after her,” Harry said.
“Good luck mate,” Ron said.
“Thanks, I have a feeling I’ll need it,” Harry said as he left the room.
~*~*~*~
It had been five minutes already and Harry still couldn’t find Hermione. He then saw Ginny coming towards him.
“Ginny!” Harry said.
“Harry, please go away,” Ginny said. “I really don’t have any time for you today.”
“Ginny, if you’d wait just a minute you’d know that I’m not trying to tie up your time,” Harry said.
“Well, speak already!” Ginny said, annoyed already from being bumped into by Hermione only five minutes before.
“Do you know where Hermione is?” Harry asked.
“Why should I care?” Ginny replied coldly.
“Ginny, it’s a simple question. Do you or don’t you?” Harry asked.
“Maybe I know and maybe I don’t,” Ginny said.
“AHHH!” Harry said out loud. “I don’t have time for this damn it!”
“What’s the matter? Potter getting annoyed at the girl who knows Lord Voldemort personally? Or would it be because Hermione has gone off to her own place and leaving poor Harry scared half out of his wits?” Ginny teased coldly.
Harry stared at her in awe.
“What cat got your tongue, does it Harry?” Ginny said slyly.
Harry continued to just stare at her with complete shock.
“Are you just going to stare or am I going to have to just walk away from you? Honestly, get a life will you?” Ginny asked, as she took her hands, put them on his shoulders and forcefully moved him to the side.
“By the way, she’s out in the gardens,” Ginny called out from the door of her room, looking back to Harry, still standing there.
Chapter 4: The Search for Truth
BAM!
Harry instantly woke up as Hermione had accidentally dropped her books on the desk.
“Hermione!” Harry said.
“Oh, sorry Harry,” Hermione said, realizing she had dropped the books. “Didn’t realize how loud that had been.”
“Quite alright, just please don’t ever do that again when I’m asleep,” Harry said.
“Sure, that is if I remember,” Hermione said.
“So, what did you find out?” Harry asked.
“You think I’m just going to let you let me look for everything?” Hermione asked.
“Well, no I just figured that you had already looked since you have a profound love for books better than I do,” Harry said.
“Do I really seem like I’m the bookwork type?” Hermione asked.
Harry looked at Hermione for a minute and studied her face.
“Hermione, do you really want me to answer that?” Harry asked.
“Alright so I am just a little bit of a bookworm,” Hermione finally admitted.
Little bit? Harry asked in his mind. How about a lot?
Hermione looked at him in puzzlement.
“Ok, back to the subject,” Harry said, directing the conversation back on track.
“Right,” Hermione said. “Ok, you look through this book and I’ll look through this one. We’ll work our way through to the middle.”
Harry didn’t realize what she was saying until he looked at the books she had managed to carry over to the table.
There were about dozen stacks filled with books piled at least 5 or 6 a stack.
Good grief! How are we going to manage to look through all of these? Harry thought as he looked at the books.
Harry pulled out a book, opened it and started reading.
3 hours later….
“Harry! Listen to this,” Hermione said, suddenly, almost knocking Harry out of his chair at the sudden outburst of her voice.
“What is it?” Harry asked.
“Well, I didn’t find anything about the ring but maybe something about the necklace,” Hermione said.
“Ok so what does it say?” Harry asked.
Hermione began to read…
According to the legend, The Sedatory Allusion, which is one of the most known legends ever that could be recorded; when the 71st new moon sets and the 52nd owl hoots at dawn, will be the news of a child. A child that will be one of the most powerful child that could be born; that is until the union of a mixture of backgrounds, good and evil.
Once this child is seven years old, an old, but very wise person will be the caretaker of the this child until they reach the age of the 11, he or she will be able to return to his or her parents.
“Hermione, what does this have to do with my parents?” Harry interrupted.
“Harry, if you would let me finish reading you would know that it’s talking about us, or at least you,” Hermione said.
“Sorry, please continue,” Harry said.
Hermione then continued as if she had never been interrupted….
The parents of this child, the father with a shape of a lightning bolt on his forehead, with messy jet black hair and emerald green eyes; the mother, with brown bushy hair with brown eyes to match and a little scar on her right foot.
“Don’t you see? That’s us,” Hermione said.
Harry thought about what it had said. Was it true? Could it be? He didn’t even like Hermione like that. Did he?
“Harry?” Hermione said, bring Harry out of his thoughts.
“But Hermione, how could that possibly be us? There could be somebody else with a….” Harry said but then started thinking before he could manage to finish speaking.
“Lightning bolt on your forehead, messy jet black hair, emerald green eyes… Harry, come on… That’s you. It basically just described you perfectly,” Hermione said.
“Ok, but we’re only friends. Aren’t we?” Harry asked.
Hermione studied his face for a minute.
Should I admit that I do like him as more than a friend? Or should I wait? We are coming into our sixth year. Shouldn’t I? No, absolutely not. What if he doesn’t like me back? Hermione thought.
Does she like me more than just a friend? Should I admit it to her first? Should I wait? Should I tell her now? No, definitely not. It’s just a phase. Right? Harry thought.
They looked at each other and said, “Yes, only friends.”
Why did he just answer his own question? Hermione thought, curiously.
Why did I just answer my own question? Harry thought.
“Right, so about the necklace and the ring… Let’s just ignore that last thing you just read for awhile,” Harry said.
“Right, ok,” Hermione said, agreeing, glad that moment was over.
2 hours later…
“Have you found anything?” Harry asked.
“Yes, listen to this,” Hermione said.
Hermione began to read….
According to the legend there are 2 parts to it: the ring and the necklace. The ring, which would be on the father of the child, is a legendary ring that could be traced all the way back to Merlin, the great wizard of our history. It’s powers can keep evil away from good as long as the ring wearer lives.
The necklace, which would be on the mother of the child, can be traced as far back as Rowlina Ravenclaw. It’s power is also the same as the ring. But with plus one extra power, the power to apparate to wherever the ring bearer might be, even with a magic block spell as old as dirt.
“Wow,” Harry said. “So that’s what the ring and the necklace means.”
“Yeah, pretty amazing huh,” Hermione said.
“No kidding,” Harry agreed.
Lily watched from behind. She felt proud of her son. She sort of enjoyed seeing the two squirm in their seats when the news of The Sedatory Allusion, came into their reach.
“Lily, how many times are you going to be watching them? You’ve been back in this library for who knows how many times today,” a voice said.
“Sirius, I can’t stand to be away from him. Besides, at least I know that their on the right track,” Lily said.
“Well, see there you go. You know that now so leave them alone,” Sirius said back.
“But what if they don’t realize that they both like each other and my future grandchild won’t ever exist,” Lily stressed.
“Lily, they will too eventually figure that out. For now, just let them venture out into the world of knowledge and truth. Don’t worry, there’s a reason why the prophecy 10 pages after what they read first said that it’s really not a legend. But just a legend waiting to become a true story,” Sirius said.
“But Siri,” Lily said.
“No, no buts’ Lily. Let’s go,” Sirius said, dragging her out of the room in a ghost form.
Chapter 5: Questions about A Wedding
“Hey Harry,” Ron said, aloud from the foot of his bed, as he put his shoes on.
“Yea mate,” Harry answered, with his eyes closed. He was still in bed, trying to sleep as Ron talked to him.
“I got a question,” Ron said, pondering on his question at hand.
“Ask away,” Harry mumbled as he turned over on the bed, with his face facing the pillow.
“If that book that Mione read out of, said that the ring would be on the man and the necklace would be on the woman, then why was your mum wearing both on her wedding day?” Ron asked.
You couldn’t hear a pin drop if you tried. Harry had suddenly raised up so fast that he bumped his head on the top bunk of the bed.
“OUCH!” Harry exclaimed, as his forehead received a new bump, to make itself look pretty.
“You alright Harry?” Ron asked.
“Yes,” Harry answered. “Now what’s this about my mum?”
“I’m saying if what you told me in the car on our way home that night, about your mum wearing the ring and the necklace on her wedding day. Then with what Mione said out of that book about the man wearing the ring and the woman wearing the necklace…Harry it just doesn’t make sense,” Ron said. “ That couldn’t be possible could it?”
“I don’t know,” Harry said. “Good point there, we’ll tell Mione later about that one.”
“Got it,” Ron said. “I’d say someone’s been in the library too many times for even my own liking.”
Harry chuckled at Ron antics.
“She has been in there ever since she came here, hasn’t she?” Harry asked.
“Yes,” Ron said, dreadfully. “If she doesn’t get out of there sometime, I swear, even I’ll go crazy. And to think, I’m not the one in there almost 24, 7.”
“Careful Ron, don’t let Hermione hear you say that,” Harry said, as he laughed.
“Hear what?” a voice asked, coming in.
“Oh nothing Mione,” Ron said, quickly.
“You said that awfully quick Ron,” Hermione said. “Now what did you say Ronald Weasley?”
“Would you stop acting like my mother?” Ron asked, mocking.
“Would you act your age?” Hermione said in the same pattern.
“Would you two stop your bickering?” Harry interrupted.
“Would you shut-up?” Both Hermione and Ron said, looking at Harry.
“Fine, I’ll just sit over here wondering why I never knew about my mother while I watch you two bickering beyond a point of no return,” Harry said, scarcastically.
“Oh shut-up Harry,” Ron said.
“Hey, you’re the one who brought the wedding of my mum’s to my attention,” Harry said.
“What about your mum’s wedding?” Hermione asked.
“Oh it’s nothing,” Harry said, hoping to keep her out of the library for at least one day.
“No it’s not. Now tell me,” Hermione said.
Harry then got up and came about an inch away from her face.
Harry kissed her cheek gently and said, “Don’t worry about it. We’ll come to it later. Not today, ok?”
Hermione, a little shocked from the kiss said, “Anything.”
Did I just kiss her on the cheek? What’s with me? Harry thought.
Did he just kiss me? Hermione thought as her mind was scrambling for a answer that not even the in the near future, held.
Geez, what’s with these two? First Harry kisses Hermione on the cheek. Hermione gazes out of this universe. What’s this world coming to? Ron thought as he watched these two.
“Uh, Harry… Hermione…breakfast?” Ron said.
Neither Harry nor Hermione moved from the gaze they held in their eyes together.
“Ok, see you two later downstairs,” Ron said as she left the room.
A few minutes passed.
“Harry?” Hermione asked.
“Yes,” Harry said.
I love you, Hermione thought. “Want to go down and get something to eat?”
I love you too, Harry thought. “Sure, let’s go.”
Did he just answer my thought? Hermione thought, as they walked downstairs.
Did I just answer a thought I didn’t even hear? What’s going on here? Did I forget to clean my ears last night? Harry thought as they both pondered.
“Hermione?” Harry asked, as he stopped in the middle of the staircase.
“Yes,” Hermione said, coming up to join him on the step.
“May I kiss you?” Harry asked.
“If you don’t then I’ll be upset,” Hermione said.
Harry happily obliged to her reply and kissed her gently.
AN: If you’re hearing wedding bells go off in your head, then you’re way ahead of me…lol
Chapter 6: Spirit Plane of Ghosts
“Lily, what are you doing?” Sirius asked.
“What does it look like silly? I’m looking after my baby,” Lily said, as she watched her son eat his lunch.
“He’s not a baby anymore Lil,” Sirius said. “In fact, he’s almost quite an adult now. Even though, he’s just coming into his sixth year at Hogwarts.”
“I know Siri but it’s just I can’t help but to watch him every second that he’s alive,” Lily said.
“I know but you’ve got another main man in your life and I’d say if I were him, I’d be a little upset if my wife was paying a little too much attention to our son as not enough to me,” Sirius said.
“But James didn’t come as a ghost. He went on to heaven where he belongs,” Lily said.
“Yes he did, but he came back. Do you remember what happened on your wedding day?” Sirius asked.
“What part of it?” Lily asked, remembering her beautiful day with James, and James only.
“The part where you were only supposed to wear the necklace and in the end you ended up wearing both, his ring and your necklace,” Sirius said.
“Yeah, what about it?” Lily asked.
“Don’t you remember what that ghost said, the one that appeared in the middle of the wedding and made it appear as he had taken you and James away from everybody else, but even though we all knew what was going on?” Sirius asked.
Lily closed her eyes and remembered it like it was just yesterday.
~*~
The sunshine was shining bright on the beautiful day. The clouds were just right, the weather was just right. All except for the fact that Lily had on the ring and the necklace. According to her ancestor, that was a big no-no. Apparently, she hadn’t listened to her ancestor. Neither did James to his ancestor.
There they were on the terrace of the gazebo, also, where they shared their first kiss together. Professor Dumbledore was standing at the front, front and center wise. He had his wand out and ready to go. They were at the time reciting their vows. Just before Professor Dumbledore was going to say the famous last words, a wind suddenly picked up. Tossing and turning about all around Lily and James. It brought them up into the clouds as high as they ever thought they could have imagined.
“Do you realize what you’ve created by wearing both of those, Mistress of the Sea?” the spirit said.
Mistress of the Sea? Lily thought. I am the Mistress of the Sea?
“Excuse me, but why do you insist to call me Mistress of the Sea?” Lily asked.
“If you knew then you wouldn’t need to have asked that question,” the spirit said.
Well, duh… I know that… Lily thought.
The spirit continued to speak even though it had made Lily mad.
“You see, by you wearing the ring, which should be on his finger and not yours, and the necklace which is on your neck, and then you’d have just created a great disaster ahead of you,” the spirit said.
“You see, it says in the legends that there will be a lady, a lady with beautiful locks of red hair and emerald eyes, who will be known as the Mistress of the Sea. And you,” the spirit said, turning towards James, “would be the Master of the Sea.”
“The legend says, that the only way to ever find out who this Mistress and Master would be was to always be looking out for the sign. The sign was, when the Mistress would not only put her necklace on during her wedding but also her Master’s ring. And this is exactly what you have done. And now your fate has sealed. All that’s left is for your destiny to be filled out. But be warned that your disaster part of your reign as Mistress and Master will cease after 2 years after your first child is born. Let this be all you know about your future. You will now leave your eyes open while I cast you back down to your planet Earth as you call it,” the spirit said.
Lily and James then started to float back down. But the only thing was, Lily didn’t keep her eyes open. She closed them. This was how she remembered all of this. Only Lily knew about her child in the future. James didn’t remember a single part of it.
~*~
“So, what’s your point?” Lily asked, coming out of her dream state.
“I believe you know my point, for I know you just day dreamed about that day,” Sirius said.
“You never cease to amaze me Siri,” Lily said.
“I know, I know,” Sirius said. “What would you do without me?”
Chapter 7: Ring of Light Shines From Above
“Breakfast!” a very loud voice said.
Sounds of feet shuffling was then heard though out the whole house, or rather the Burrow at least.
Before Molly knew it every chair was filled. Not an empty cranny to be seen.
Are they that hungry? Molly thought. Well ok, if their hungry, I'll feed them.
Molly began to distribute the bacon and eggs. She came over to Harry and started at his plate.
“Thank-you Mrs. Weasley,” Harry said.
“Harry, I've said it a million times already. Just call me Molly or Mum, like the rest of em',” Molly said.
“Ok, Molly,” Harry said.
“Mum, would you stop fussin' over Harry and give me and my darling sister some food?” George asked.
“Don't call me darling sister again George,” Ginny said.
“Oh you know you like it,” George said, not aware of her temper this morning.
“Don't push it George,” Ginny said. “Mother, may I be excused?”
“Ginny dear, you've barely touched your food. Are you sure?” Molly said.
“Mum, please don't call me dear. And I'm not really hungry,” Ginny said, as she got up from the table.
“Well, ok then yes you may,” Molly said.
Ginny left the room and went out to her little shaft she had secretly built one summer. It was just outside by the lake. It was enchanted to be only seen by Ginny, and those of course she invited in but rarely ever did. Except that is, for her boyfriend. Nobody knew about him. For one reason he was the son of their number one enemy, the Malfoys'.
Ginny opened the door to her little home away from home. The fireplace was blazing with heat and warmth. It was very warm and cozy inside at the moment.
Draco must be here, Ginny thought.
“Well, it's about time you got here,” Draco snarled.
“Oh do shut up will you?” Ginny snarled back. “My back is killing me, must have been from having to stand up all last night while you had your fun.”
“Well, you were the one that stayed in that position. Not my fault,” Draco said.
“I'm going to bed. Maybe it'll straighten up my back,” Ginny said as she began to move towards her bedroom.
“What about my breakfast?” Draco snarled.
“Look in the microwave,” Ginny said. “The bacon and eggs are still fresh and warm. I put a spell on them to keep that way for you.”
“Thanks,” Draco said, coming closer to her body. He put his hands on her hips and then lowered his head and kissed her gently.
“See you later,” Ginny said.
“Where are you going?” Draco asked.
“I told you,” Ginny snarled. “I'm going to go see if my back will straighten up.”
“Not so fast,” Draco snarled as he came closer to her.
“Why?” Ginny asked.
“Because I want to kiss you right now,” Draco said, as he then pulled her into his arms and kissed her deeply.
They stayed like this for a while.
~*~
It was Christmas now. All was all in the grand halls of Hogwarts. Trees were everywhere in the great hall, holy and missile toe were hung in every corridor of the castle, lights were hung every corner where light usually didn't shine. Just about everywhere you turned your head, Christmas decorations were hung.
Harry still didn't know much about his history as he would have liked to but that didn't mean he wasn't about to give up either. Every chance he got, he'd go to the library and see what he could find, in hopes of discovering the key to his past.
Lily watched her son wander through the path each day that he took Hedwig out for a fly. His face used to be happy and cheery when he'd take those paths. But now, there was a empty cranny in a wall it seemed. Hermione used to take these paths with him at times, now it seemed as if he lost interest in all that was in front of him, just because he was too interested in stuff that happened in the past. Hermione was no longer with Harry. Harry dwelled too much on the past for Hermione's likings.
“Lily, I think you and I both know that it's time that he knows,” a deep voice said, as an arm went around her waist.
“I know James, I know,” Lily said. “When he gets to the core of the lake, we'll appear to him.”
“Not we, Lily,” James said. “You won't either.”
“James what on earth do you mean?” Lily asked.
“We'll wait until he's in one of his classes, better yet let it be the same place where you received your first vision by your grandmother,” James said. “Bet Snape would love that. Seeing the exact same look that was once on your face long ago, and now seeing it on Harry's face next Tuesday.”
“James, that's just plain mean!” Lily said. “I'm still going to the core of the lake and appearing to him. And you are too. Just look at him. James look at him.”
“I'm looking,” James said. “I see our son.”
“Does he look like a son we used to know when you'd play peek-a-boo just before you would put him to bed at night? Or when he'd smile at you after you'd feed him or play with him? Or when he'd laugh when he'd throw his baby food back at you in the face, because he thought it was funny? Does he look like the son we once knew to you?” Lily asked, as she took a note to visit memory lane again in the near future.
James didn't answer. Instead he looked at his son, while Lily continued on.
“No, James he doesn't,” Lily said. “I remember his first look at us after he was born. He'd come that early Sunday morning. His smile was the greatest though. I remember one day, we were out in the gardens. That bird, Hedwig as he calls her, met us on the terrace. The look in her eyes were as if she knew of the future. It was as she knew she was meant to look after him after we were gone. No matter, what the vision I received from Harry before he was born. It was like a light shining from above, James. The vision was of the future of all five of us together. He'd given me a glimpse of my future. But of course, then Voldemort interrupted our plans.”
Lily began to get choked up a little. James noticed and put his arm around her.
“I know Lily,” James said. “I know. But now we must do what we are meant to do. And that is to watch over him as much as we can. Trust me sweetheart, he'll be safe. Yes, I know he isn't who we knew when he was a child. I too, also received a vision from him before he was born. I knew we wouldn't be with him much long after his second birthday. But I also knew that I had to make the most of what we had left, the most for him. I couldn't bear to not let him know what any ordinary two -year-old knew. And that was to be a normal baby.”
“But he wasn't a normal baby, James,” Lily said. “We both knew that.”
“I know,” James said. “Look, he's at the core of the lake now.”
“Ready?” Lily asked. “I don't care what you said about the vision we'll be sending him next Tuesday, he needs us now. Not then. He'll still receive the vision next Tuesday, but for now, he needs us.”
“Couldn't have said it better sweetie,” James said. “Let's go.”
Lily and James got to the core of the lake. Lily and James still held hands while the stood right in front of Harry and slowly began to become visible to Harry to see.
Was his eyes fooling him? Harry thought. There were his parents. This couldn't be happening.
“Son, it's time for you to see your past,” James said as he held out a hand for Harry to take.
Harry looked at Hedwig and then back to James.
“Don't worry,” Lily said. “She knows what's happening. She'll be ok.”
“Mum? Dad?” Harry finally spoke.
“Yes,” Lily said. “I'm here. We're here.”
“That we are son,” James said.
Lily didn't have to ask for her son to come into her arms at that moment. Harry didn't even ask. Harry more like ran into her arms. You could hear the faint sound of tears being made as Lily made shushing sounds towards her baby. James just stood behind Lily, giving her a steady stand as Harry leaned into her, while he cried.
James, he hasn't cried like this since he was a baby, when I died, Lily telepathically said to James.
I know Lily. I was watching. James replied back. It's time Lily.
Ok, let's go. Lily said.
“Son,” James said. “Let go of your mother now and take my hand.”
“James what are you doing?” Lily asked. “Don't tell me you're going to take him back to see certain things.”
“Lily, he'll see what he needs to see,” James said and then with a more stern voice he spoke again, “Son. Now.”
Harry held onto his mother a moment longer before he let go. He then took a step back away from his mother and then went forward to his father and engulfed him in a hug.
James held onto him as he could hear Harry faintly saying the four words that he used to say when he was a baby. The words were, I love you Daddy. And James would always reply with I love you too, Harry. James then took his son into the past.
AN: sorry, I didn't go into the past with James and Harry. I promise it'll be brought back up again in a future chapter, 10 or 11 probably, maybe. Sorry it took so long to get it to you. I had a case of writer's block, that kept coming back…lol thanks for the reviews

Chapter 8: Pay-back Time
Lily watched as James and her only son went back to the days when things were right as they were. Actually, he probably, if she was thinking he would, went all the way back to the night he was born, maybe even a few nights before that.
“He'll be ok Lily,” a voice said.
“I know Albus,” Lily said. “I know. Do you think I could visit Hermione? Or maybe even the library? You know, give her a glimpse of her future?”
Albus chuckled a little bit.
“Of course you can go to the library. Only the other ghosts and us professors will notice you. The students won't. You won't be in their eyes. I dare say though, you might want to maybe see Professor Snape. James frightened him pretty good the other day. Well with the help of Sirius. You know those two. Can't stand not to tease him once in a while. It's like they were back in Hogwarts all those days before,” Albus said. “Only Hermione will be able to see you. Just make sure she's in a isolate corner so that she won't look as if she's talking to herself. Then you can take her to the future.”
“Thank-you Albus,” Lily said. “And I know they frightened him. I was the one who came up with the idea. They just did the work. Besides, I had to do something to get even with Snape after he made Harry clean the floor with a flimsy toothbrush for no good reason. I even finished it for Harry, as I sent him to his bed. There was no way I was going to let Harry do that.”
“Should have known,” Albus said. “Knew I felt some powerful magic going on that night.”
Lily laughed as she went to find Hermione.
Lily went on to the through the corridors that she once walked through herself as a child. Lily was walking through the corridors when she then saw him. It was Snape. Boy, she was going to have fun now. Always did say to have some fun before work. That and there was a little bit of hell to pay. Lily wouldn't stand for him punishing her son for nothing. Lily then hovered over him and behind him as she then lowered herself to the corridor ground level. She then blew in his ear.
Snape shivered, thinking it was James and Sirius after him again. He never could get those two to leave him alone. He always had one wish though. Was that he could see his Lily again. Lily was the only one that was soft and nice to him.
Lily waited until he had turned the corner and into an empty corridor that headed straight for his quarters. She then blew in his ear again.
Again, he shivered.
Lily did it again.
He shivered, once again.
“Damn it, James! Quit that!” Snape hollered as he got further into the corridor closer to his quarters.
Lily then blew in his ear once again.
Snape quickly turned around to see not James, not Sirius, but Lily.
“Hello Sevy,” Lily said, as she looked into his eyes. Sevy was Lily's nickname for Snape.
“Lily?” Snape said. “Is that really you?”
“Yes,” Lily said. “And you sure do have hell to pay.”
“What ever on earth did I do to upset you my dear Lily?” Snape asked.
“Don't dear me Sevy!” Lily outraged. “You know full well why I'm outraged at you.”
“My dear Lily,” Snape said. “I'm afraid I do not know what you mean.”
“Does the saying go, those who punish those for no reason, will be punished in the end, ring a bell?” Lily asked.
“My dear,” Snape said. “I do not know what you are talking about.”
“Oh Sevy, I do believe you do,” Lily said. “You had no right to punish my son! You had no right to treat him as if he meant nothing to you but as a dirty rag on the floor.”
“Lily, that's enough,” Sirius warned, now coming into view with Lily.
“No, Siri,” Lily said. “I will speak my mind to him, whether he likes it or not. It's a good thing James took Harry in the past. I have my chance now, without James holding me back. And you sure as hell aren't going to either!”
Snape looked terrified, as Lily became more outraged as the minutes went by. Even some of the other professors came to see what was going on. None of them had ever been on the receiving end of Lily's wrath. Heck, only James had.
“Lillian Ambrosia Evans! You will do no such thing towards your fellow classmate,” a voice said.
“That's where you're wrong Professor McGonagall. I must, for if I don't then things will never be right,” Lily said, more raged as before.
“It's a damn good thing you can't do any magic anymore,” Minevera said.
“That's what you think Professor,” Lily said and then turned to face Snape, who was a pale as a white feather.
“You had no right to judge and treat Harry, my son like you did! My son! Do you hear me? MY SON! He is not James. He is himself and you gave him no chance to prove that to you. Yes he is James's son in some ways. But you must of have forgotten that I am his mother. He is also mine! I was the one who carried him for nine long months. You don't know what it's been like for him all of these years. Having to live with my dreadful excuse of a sister and her family, having to watch his own mother die right before his very own eyes! You never knew what that was like! YOU NEVER DID!” Lily screamed with anger towards Snape.
“Mum?” a small medium voice, said.
Lily turned to see Harry and James now back from the past. Harry had tears in his eyes as he fled into his mother's warming arms.
“No longer will you be a threat to my son,” Lily said, holding her son and looking at Snape. James had now joined her. He decided to put his own two cents in towards Snape.
“Next time you decide to punish our son for something that never was ever necessary, remember that you will always regret it from now on until the day that you die,” James said. “It's a wonder I let you live that night.”
“Maybe if you hadn't joined Voldemort before the war started, then maybe our daughter might have been born,” Lily said.
“Daughter?” Everybody in the corridor asked, except James and Harry.
“Sarah, you can come out now,” Lily called out. “She will always be growing, even as a ghost, until the age she would have reached to her death, that is if she was given the chance to live.”
A girl that was only 3 years younger than Harry, who looked exactly, like Lily, began to appear. Except the eyes. She had James's eyes with Lily's hair and complexion and every thing else of Lily. The resemblance was amazing.
“Yes Mother,” Sarah softly spoke.
“Now, Sevy. Look at her. If she had lived, do you think that you would have treated the same way as you have treated her brother?” Lily asked, still a little raged.
James tugged at her hand.
“Lily,” James said. “Enough of this. You've made your point to him. I don't really see why you needed to bring Sarah into this but you've made your point.”
“I brought Sarah in because it's about time that Harry knew,” Lily said. “Besides, I know he's had questions as to why he was remembering a certain song, on his 16th birthday, just before he woke up.”
“He knows already Lil,” James said.
“Bubba?” Sarah's soft voice said.
Harry hadn't been used to hearing that name before. He let go of his mother and looked toward Sarah.
“Why do you call me bubba?” Harry asked. “I'd rather much be called bro or just Harry.”
“Bro,” Sarah said, as she went into Harry's arms.
“Um…Mum? What do I do?” Harry asked.
“I swear, you act just like your father Harry, at times it's just too much,” Minevera said. “Just put your arms around her. James did the same thing when Lily kissed him for the first time. He just stood there frozen.”
“You saw that?” Both James and Lily asked, now Lily in James' arms.
“Of course,” Minevera said. “It was very sweet. Just like Harry is towards Sarah now. And I daresay, that Miss Hermione Granger is missing you right now Harry.”
“Off you go Harry,” Lily said. “Don't worry, I'll be visiting her too. You're not the only one who needs some glympses of the past or future.”
Harry went off like Lily had told him. All of the other professors had cleared out as it was just now Snape, Lily, Sarah, Sirius, and James in the corridor.
Sarah went up to Snape and said, “I too, will be watching you whenever Harry is around you. I always have and always will from now on until my time comes for me to move on to a better place.”
“Sarah go back to our little place in the sky,” Lily said.
“Yes Mother,” Sarah said. “See you at home Father.”
“See you there, sweetie,” James said.
“Remember, he's James' son, just as well as he is mine,” Lily said.
Lily, Sirius, and James then disappeared from Snape's sight.
“Just think how they would have reacted if they knew of Sarah's twin, Nicole,” Sirius said. “Then they'd all be fainting. Could you imagine what it'd be like, if Sarah and Nicole had been born before you two were killed? I don't think dear ole Dumbledore would know what to do, with the next three marauders, let alone one in the Potter generation.”
Lily and James chuckled at that.
“They'd be just like you four were,” Lily said. “Except worse. Both Nicole and Sarah have both of you to thank for that.”
Chapter Nine: Present, Past, Future
Hermione was sleeping in her bed when she began to feel a little chilly. She looked up to see the window hanging wide-open. She went to close it. After she closed the window, she then headed back towards her bed. Before she sat down, a ghost became visible to her.
She looks like Harry in the eyes, Hermione thought. I wonder what his mother looked like.
“That's because I am his mother Hermione,” Lily said.
Hermione was a prefect. Even though she was one, she still had convinced Professor Dumbledore for her own room. With luck, when she went back to the common room, she then had her own room.
“No offense but aren't you dead?” Hermione asked.
Lily really didn't look dead like a ghost would. She had this radiant glow that shone through her face.
“I am here to offer you two trips and three questions you may have about your future or somebody else's,” Lily said. “That and guessing the look on your face, Harry never came to you the other day when I told him to.”
“Yes Madam,” Hermione said politely.
“Dear, please just call me Lily,” Lily said.
“Alright Lily,” Hermione said. “And what was it you were saying about the two trips and three questions?”
“As you can see, I am here for a purpose,” Lily said. “That is to show you your past, from wherever you like in that area and to show you of your future. The three questions can be asked anytime during the trips. But I must warn you, do not speak of this to Harry at all. I have plans for him in the near future.”
“Yes Lily,” Hermione said. “Past or future first?”
“Oh I believe you know that answer full well my dear,” Lily said.
“Right,” Hermione said. “Past it is then.”
“I am calculating that perhaps you would like to see your mother again? Or perhaps your grandmother?” Lily asked, as she noticed Hermione's eyes light up with intensity.
“I would like that very much so,” Hermione said.
“Very well my dear,” Lily said. “Take my hand and we'll go.”
Hermione took her hand and then Lily began to lead them into the past of Hermione's childhood.
The walls of Hogwarts, or rather Hermione's room, began to fade through time, she began to see the trees around her grandmother's cottage. It was a pretty cottage. Only her mother and grandmother lived there. She had never seen her father, not once in her whole life.
“Hermione?” Lily asked. “You ready to go further than this?”
“Could we go back to see my father?” Hermione asked. “That counts as one of the questions, am I right?”
“Yes, but only as one, you're second question just while ago, won't count against you,” Lily said. “And yes we can, you never did get to see your father did you?”
“No, I didn't,” Hermione said. “I've always just grown up with my mum and grandmother.”
By now, they were in France somewhere, Paris, by the looks of it. Lily began looking for who she was seeking and then pointed them out to Hermione.
“See there Hermione?” Lily asked, pointing to the water fountains. “By the water fountains, sitting is your mother and there is your father near by her.”
I wish I could see him closer, Hermione thought.
Wish granted, Lily thought, as she heard Hermione's wish.
Instantly, they were only about a foot or two away from Hermione's mother and father. Her mother and father seemed to be having an argument. The words of their argument became clear to Hermione, not to mention hurtful.
“What do you mean you don't want any part of this child's life? It's your child too,” Hermione's mother said.
“How do I know it's my child?” Hermione's father asked, in return. “How do I know it's not some other man's child instead of mine?”
“If you truly knew me, you wouldn't ask that question,” Hermione's mother said.
“Why should I believe you?” Hermione's father asked. “If it is mine, then why did you wait until you were showing to finally tell me?”
“I could never found the right time,” Hermione's mother argued. “Then I thought this morning, it'd be the perfect time. Apparently, as I can see, you wish to have no part of this child's life.”
I wish I never saw this, Hermione thought. But I would like to visit him once I get to the present time.
“I can do that for you when we get back to the present Hermione,” Lily said. “And if you like, I'll speak to Professor Dumbledore about getting me a stable human form for a day or two so I could take you.”
Hermione then went into Lily's arms.
“Thank-you Lily,” Hermione said. “Could we visit the future now? I'm rather tired of seeing the past.”
“Sure sweetie,” Lily said, who didn't blame her. Lily didn't have control over what they saw in the past. The only past that she could control was her and James'. Plus what she could control was just part of who was there. If she did have control over it, then she would never have let Hermione see what she had just seen.
Like before, Hermione began to see her surrounding around her, begin to fade and into a bright light, but yet not a blinding light. If anything, it was a beautiful light. Nothing but beautiful. Hermione began to see her future.
They came to a beautiful yellow two-story house somewhere in Ireland, it looked like. There were white, yellow and red roses planted everywhere outside the house. Snapdragons, lilies, marigolds, cannas, any type of flowers you could think of, were right outside the house. There was a little stairway to the front door. It was very pretty.
Next thing Hermione knew, she was now inside the beautiful house. She could now hear voices.
Hermione went closer so that she could hear the voices more clearly. She saw two people in the kitchen, who seemed to be happy. They were also making out.
“Go look Hermione,” Lily said. “It'll do you a bit of good. Besides the people in there can't see you, only you can see them.”
Hermione went and looked around the corner, to where the couple was. They didn't look like anybody she knew. In fact, the girl looked a little like someone she knew. The man seemed to look like Ginny, the features in his face, the eyes ... looked like Ginny. And not to mention, a little like somebody else she knew.
Hermione turned to Lily and asked, “Is this who I think it is?”
“I don't know,” Lily replied, with a little cheery tone, “You tell me.”
Hermione then went closer and listened to their conversation a little bit.
“Lillian, sweetheart, I love you,” the man said. “You do know that don't you?”
Lillian, the girl that was in front of him and also in his arms answered, “Yes I do. And I love you too Adrian.”
Adrian then lowered himself on the ground on one knee, held Lillian's hand in his, pulled out a little velvet-like box out of his pocket, opened it and held it out for her to see; he then said, “Lillian Rose Potter, will you marry me?”
Lillian began to have tear up as she then reached out to take the black velvet box out. The ring had at least 3 diamonds on it. The band was 14 karat gold.
She then hugged his neck, causing him to stumble backwards a little but he maintained his balance.
“Well Lillian?” Adrian asked. “Will you marry me?”
“Yes!” Lillian said as she then put the ring on her finger and then kissed him.
Hermione then looked back at Lily with teary eyes.
“Lily, that was the most beautiful sight I think I've ever seen,” Hermione said. “I'm glad you took me on this adventure.”
“Your welcome my dear,” Lily said. “Let me remind you, you have two questions left.”
“Ok,” Hermione said. “Question number one, is Lillian my daughter?”
“Yes,” Lily said. “Question two?”
“Are you my future mother-in-law?” Hermione asked.
“Yes Hermione,” Lily said. “I am.”
Hermione then jumped up into the air in complete utter joy and gleam.
“May we go back now?” Hermione asked.
“Sure,” Lily said, as she took a hold of Hermione's hand and took them back to Hermione's room at Hogwarts.
They were now back.
“Hermione, remember, you must not say anything about this to Harry. He cannot know about this. This must remain a secret,” Lily said.
“Yes Ma'am,” Hermione said. “Thank-you Lily.”
“Your welcome dear,” Lily said, and then she disappeared from Hermione's sight.
Hermione then fell back onto her bed and looked at the clock. It had only been about an hour or so since she left. She then went to sleep.
Chapter Ten: Words of True Love Finally Spoken Once and For All
Two weeks later…
Harry woke up with the utmost annoying sound at his window. Ron’s newest owl, or rather the Weasley’s owl, was pecking at the window but also running into the window. It was the most dreadful sound there ever was, Harry thought.
“Ron, wake up!” Harry said. “Your bloody new owl is at the window!”
“What are you talking about?” Ron grumbled.
“Ron look at the window,” Harry said. “It’s your owl.”
Ron looked and then said, “Harry, that’s not my owl. I don’t know where that owl is from.”
Harry got up and went to the window. He opened the window and let the owl in. She looked like Hedwig but yet she had a little black spot around her eye and her beak. He took the letter attached to the bird’s leg and let the bird go.
Harry opened the letter and then was immediately pulled into a world of an unknown.
“Harry!” Ron shouted as he watched Harry being sucked into the letter, so to speak.
Harry was taken into a world that was bewildered to him.
“Hello?” a voice suddenly came from nowhere.
Harry quickly turned around to see a little child with blonde hair with emerald eyes. The child looked to be maybe 3 or 4 years old. He wondered if the child could see him, if she could then would she be able to talk. Would he be able to talk?
“Hello!” the little girl said louder towards Harry.
“Hello,” Harry said, unaware of things as they were.
“Grampa! You said you’d read me a story!” the girl argued.
Grampa? Harry thought. Where am I?
Harry looked down at himself. He was definitely not the same person as he was only 2 minutes previous. He looked older. Still himself but older.
“Now Elizabeth, leave your grandfather alone. He’s not up to reading a story,” a woman’s voice said coming into the kitchen.
“It’s quite alright,” Harry said. “I’ll read Elizabeth a story.”
Harry held out a hand for Elizabeth to take. She took it.
“But Daddy,” the woman said. “You know what the doctors said; you’re not supposed to overdue it. Ever since Mum died you didn’t want to do anything and so you put yourself into some kind of trance—“
“I don’t think reading a story to my granddaughter will hurt anything,” Harry said, getting used to the atmosphere he was surrounded by recently. “Come on Elizabeth let’s go pick out a story and I’ll read it to you.”
“Ok Grampa,” Elizabeth said, taking his hand and walking up the stairs with him.
The woman he left behind in the kitchen was shocked. She couldn’t believe her dad was suddenly just like he was when he was a kid at Hogwarts. Well, or at least of what her mother had told her stories of what they were like in Hogwarts. Actually, Hermione had let her see a pensive of her first kiss by Harry and including of when they got back together.

Harry and Elizabeth were now upstairs in the hallway.
“Lead the way my dear,” Harry said.
Who did I marry? Harry thought.
Elizabeth led him to a room, “This is your room Grampa. Great-Aunt Nicole and Great-Aunt Sarah helped me to perform this.”
“Perform what Elizabeth?” Harry asked.
What have they done now? Harry thought.
Elizabeth took out Harry’s wand that was hidden in the drawer next to his bed and began to enchant something in Latin.
Elizabeth stood back while Sarah and Nicole appeared in front of Harry.
“Don’t think that way Harry. Mum sent us to do this mission for you. It’s time that you saw the future of yours in the making,” Sarah said, hugging her only brother.
“You’re mind may be sixteen but your body is an old man who had been nothing but a bitter and harsh man ever since your wife died,” Nicole continued for her twin.
Mum did this? Harry questioned in his mind. No wonder this is so corrupt.
“See how you’ve turned your ways since your wife died?” Sarah pointed out, although she was about ready to slap him for his last comment. “You’ve been like this for years and its high time things changed.”
“And don’t you ever say that about Mum again!” Nicole said ready to defend her mother at a minutes notice. “If Sirius had heard you say that about Mum, he would gladly give you a whooping that you rightfully deserve about right now. Let alone about what Daddy would have done.”
“Nicole that’s enough,” Sarah said. “You know as well as I, Daddy would not harm a hair on Harry’s head. He loves him too much no matter if he just said something incredibly idiotic in front of us.”
Have Mum and Dad moved on? Harry questioned.
“Yes Harry they have,” Sarah said. “They left after your third child was born.”
“Who is my wife?” Harry asked.
“Good grief Harry!” Nicole said. “Can you not look into your granddaughter’s eyes and clearly see who her grandmother is? She has your eyes, naturally all of the Potters, except for Rose the oldest, have emerald eyes and Hermione’s features in the face, well except for your son Alex but the point is, can you not see Hermione in Elizabeth’s face? Can you not see her brown eyes in those emerald eyes? Elizabeth is an extraordinary child. She was born with two sets of eye colors. Emerald, yours, for when the love of her life is right near her. She may not know who her soul mate is in the future but she can see those who she loves, with the emerald eyes. And the beautiful brown eyes for when she’s wrapped up in magic so much that if her eyes have changed, it’s a sign that she’s in deep thought and it’d be best not to mess with her. And also, to remind you of what you once had.”
“Harry,” Sarah said. “It’s time for you to embrace your fate. It’s time for you to go back to the present and tell your future wife how you feel. If you don’t, you’ll be just like you are in this time but without family. You’ll be a cold, bitter, and harsh old man. Daddy would be ashamed to be your father if you turned out like this. Change your ways and let him be proud of you.”
“Thanks Sarah,” Harry said, getting up and engulfing her in a hug.
Harry let Sarah go and said and did the same things to Nicole.
“Remember, don’t let Hermione go,” Nicole whispered in his ear as he hugged her. “Don’t let her die the way she does.”
Harry looked at her with a questionable face. He then accepted it and said, “I’ll do my best sis.”
“I love you both,” Harry then said.
“It’s time for you to go back now,” Sarah said.
“Elizabeth would you send your grandfather back in time where he can change the course of his ways?” Nicole asked.
“Yes Aunt Nicole,” Elizabeth said, with her eyes turning brown. “But I need to tell him one thing before I send him back.”
“Go ahead dear,” Sarah said. “But make it quick.”
“Grampa,” Elizabeth said. “Don’t be so hard on Mum when she marries a Malfoy. It’s one of the things that turned you bitter like you are now.”
“What? My daughter marries a Malfoy?” Harry exclaimed.
“Harry! Accept it!” a ghostly Hermione came in. “You may have not liked it but you will not be able to change the fate of a Potter and a Malfoy being joined as soul mates. I love you Harry but you’ve got to change your ways.”
“Ok, Elizabeth you can continue now,” Sarah said.
She was concentrating, Harry could tell. She really did look like Hermione when that happened.
Before Harry knew it, he was being taken back.
~*~
“Harry!” Ron shouted, as he shook him.
“Ron! Stop shaking me for bloody sakes, stop it!” Harry said, coming back to him younger self.
“You’ve never said that before to me,” Ron said.
“Well, you should know by now, not to shake me like that,” Harry said. “Besides, I’ve got to go see Hermione.”
“Good luck mate,” Ron said. “She’s in her room, I suppose.”
“Thanks mate,” Harry said.
~*~
Harry left their room and went in search of Hermione.
He loved her. He couldn’t get over the fact that he loved her. Was he this blind before now?
Harry found Hermione in her room, just as Ron had told him. She was reading a book, no doubt. When was she ever not reading?
“Hermione?” Harry said.
Hermione turned to see Harry looking at her.
Harry saw Hermione look at him with tears strung down her cheeks.
“Hermione, what on earth is the matter?” Harry asked.
“I was afraid you’d never come back to me,” Hermione said, as she ran into his arms in full tears.
Harry stroked her hair with his fingers as he held her in his arms.
“Hermione, please don’t cry. I’m not ever going to leave you,” Harry said. “I love you.”
Hermione suddenly stopped crying and looked into his eyes.
“You love me?” Hermione asked, still teary eyed.
“Yes,” Harry said. “I love you and I’ll love you til’ the day I die.”
“Oh Harry!” Hermione said as she then kissed him.
She pulled out of the kiss and said, “I love you too.”
Harry and Hermione stayed like this for awhile.
They were known as a couple now until the day they died. They were inseparable. Nobody could tear them apart even if they tried.
THE END!!!!
AN: Don’t worry, I’ll be reposting and redoing Coming of A New Age as the Sequel to this story. And don’t worry about the pairing of Draco and Ginny. I know I didn’t mention them much in the remaking of H&H…it all started with I love you into Words of True Love Finally Spoken. And I really didn’t mean to portray Ginny as a sweet natured person gone wicked. I’ll make it to where it was just a phase for her during the time with Draco. And I’m not splitting those two up. That would be just a down right ugly sin to even think of.
Thank-you everybody who reviewed this story and thank-you for taking the time to read it.
