Or the twinge in my stomach, when I see you with other guys.

Going out to dinner and eating ice cream,

And how you let me hold you when you have a bad dream.

Out at midnight, for a moonlight walk,

Or enjoying each other’s company while we talk.

I know you are the girl of my dreams,

But as sad as this may seem,

I’ll never get to tell you how I feel,

Because what is happening right now is real.

You look so beautiful in your gown of white,

I swallow, and close my eyes tight.

I feel as if this has just clicked in my head,

You and I aren’t going to be wed.

Just imagine the worst feeling you’ve ever had,

This is mine, which is weird, because you are so glad.

So as you and Ron secure your love with gold,

I hope you know my heart is ice cold.

Now I must say good bye,

I leave now with a tear in my eye.

My name is Hermione Granger, I am 24 years old
