There’s me for one. Although once you got to know me, you’d realize that I stuck out from any other Slytherin girl, many people don’t notice me. Problem is, I don’t let people get to know me. From the little hints I’ve dropped here and there, my family already considers me scum enough. If anybody found out what I really thought, let’s just say I would be dead where I stand… Rating: PG—for some language August 21, 1997 I am a disgrace to my family. I know that not only because I am reminded of it practically every day, but because I know that I am quite different from them. I am lucky to have been sorted into Slytherin; otherwise they would have most probably disowned me. Sometimes, however, I wish I would’ve been sorted into Ravenclaw or Gryffindor, by God I would’ve even taken Hufflepuff! Being in Slytherin comes with such a reputation; I am supposed to loathe muggle-borns, when truly I find they are not so bad, and we cannot marry anyone who is not in our class. For, as I am constantly reminded, being pure-blood is the highest class of all. We are above the filthy half-bloods, half-breeds, blood-traitors, and, most of all, mudbloods. No Minister of Magic, has been anything but pure-blood, and that’s way my family intends it to stay. According to my parents, who are often wrong, my brother was on his way to becoming the next Minister of Magic. Don’t see how he can accomplish that, seeing as he only got five OWLs last year. However, he can be as ambitious as he wishes, it’s the only good quality us Slytherins have, right? We’re going shopping for school supplies tomorrow. Although my siblings can hardly wait, I’m really dreading it. You see, ever since last year, when I started questioning the morals of a pure-blooded witch or wizard, my parents have been treating me like scum and calling me a disgrace to the pure-blood race. That summer my parents treated me like a servant and made me carry all the bags and gave me last choice on everything. They would never buy me second-hand. For my family, practically being royalty within the wizarding race, would only disgrace itself by buying me used things. Yours, Alicia May Nott August 30, 1997 Thank God that it’s the thirtieth. Only one more day until I finally get to get out of this damn manor and go to school. I don’t know why I still call it a manor, probably because I have this vision of my father beating me with a cane every time I used to call it a house when I was little. That still scares the hell out of me. My older brother, Theodore, claims that Father used to beat him with a belt with spikes on it. I doubt it though, Theodore was always Father’s favorite—after all, he’s going to become Minister of Magic, isn’t he? God! I’d commit suicide before I saw him ruling the Magical World. Anyways, our time in Diagon Alley was a complete disaster! It started out with Kale sleeping in and me getting blamed for it—I’m blamed for everything these days. This time his accusation was that “I should have woken them up!” As if, Kale should be responsible for his own actions, otherwise, my father should have gotten up off his ass and woken him up himself. I swear, Kale and Natty better be perfect kids, or else, the rest of my life will be completely miserable. While in Diagon Alley, Natty wanted to get ice cream and I needed to stock up on potions so that I didn’t fail the class. We only had time to do one more thing. Guess which one my father chose? If you know anything about my dad, you’ll know the answer to the question right now. Yes, he chose to buy ice cream for Natty. Natty joyfully went up to the counter and told the young witch and said “Could I have a scoop of raspberry peanut-butter crunch please?” “Of course.” The lady said, nodding affirmatively and scooping her up a large amount of ice cream and putting it in the cone. Next, Kale ordered chunky chocolate and Theodore ordered pistachio-mint. Pistachio-mint—I find the flavor absolutely abhorring, but who ever said that Theodore had good tastes. I then went up to order my ice cream when my father put his wand out in front of me to stop me from reaching the counter. He said, and I’m quoting his exact words here, “Alicia, you’re looking a bit plump; maybe you better refrain from eating any ice cream today.” He said it loudly enough so that the whole store could hear, and it was quite busy, mind you. When I felt every single pair of eyes in the store, pointed in my direction, I could feel my face growing hot. I didn’t know what to do, so I did the only thing I could do. I ran out of the store and into the nearest lou. I cried there for what felt like hours until Natty came in and yelled “Ally, Daddy says he’s going to leave if you don’t get your but out here soon!!!” Damn, Nat the Prat, if she only could’ve given me one more moment’s piece, Katherine Flint wouldn’t have seen me all teary. Katherine would be a fifth year and liked to tell everybody everything she found out. I would bet my life on the fact that the day I returned to school, everybody would be talking about my little tantrum in Diagon Alley. Well, maybe not my life, I would bet Natty’s life on it though. Then again, that isn’t worth much. Yours, Alicia May Nott August 31, 1997 It’s ten and the train won’t leave for another hour. My great-grandfather used to tell me the story of how Muggles have invented a type of train that runs differently from ours and now there is a train station where ours used to be. The Ministry, despite being pure-blooded, is also very smart. They were able to hide our station so that you can only access it by walking through the barriers between platforms nine and ten at the muggle station. Mum and dad think it’s useless—they claim we should “just blow the station up and tell those damn muggles to get the hell away from us!” Don’t know if that would go over so well, however. Considering the fact that muggles don’t know we exist. Oh well, the ministry’s not as stupid as my family is. You see why we can’t have my brother as Minister? I’m actually considering renouncing my family completely. I don’t know, it just seems that I’m so different from them that it just seems pointless to try and get along with them. The only problem is I’m only in my sixth year. Next summer, I’m going to live in a place where I can eat and sleep. For I know that the moment I begin to disobey them completely they will send me to the streets. Granted I do have some money—a thousand galleons to be exact. That should be enough to buy a place, but I’m going to need to get a job next summer if I’m counting on being able to eat. Oh well, I think about that later, I’m not even sure what I want to do yet. I know one thing; however, it’s bad to have the Nott as your enemy. Yours, Alicia May Nott August 31, 1997 Do you believe in love at first sight? I’ve always been a hopeless romantic; I think it runs in my family. I can never remember being anything but a cynic when it came to relationships, I always broke them off after about a week, scared to go to deeply and get hurt. My parents aren’t happy; they are two alike to be anything close to that. No half-blood’s parents are happy, they are a muggle and a wizard or a witch, two different to be able to get along. And certainly the parents of a half-breed could be filled with nothing but anxiety, after all their child is a bloody monster. That’s what I have always thought, until now. I know that you can’t judge a book by it’s cover or a person when you meet them, but I really think that I am in love. This guy is a seventh year with red hair and freckles. I recognized him at once as a Weasley. They are a pure-blood, but poor family. They also fraternize with the muggle-borns and they are therefore loathed in our society. He was so polite though, and nice, and handsome and…I don’t know. But I want to get to know him better. His name is Ron Weasley. He’s head boy, captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team and a perfect role model. He’s someone that I would generally not generate an interest in. Regardless, I think that I have finally made up my mind. Getting to know Eric better means disowning my family. For even though he may not be the one for me, I’m not holding myself back by not going after what I want. Most people will have to step out of the comfort zone and tread in waters they are unfamiliar with it. This is one of those times for me. For if there’s one thing I’ve learned from my family it’s if you know there’s something you want, you have to get it yourself. Good-bye family! Good-bye pure-bloods! Good-bye being shrined! Hello Ron! Hello mudbloods muggle-borns! Hello FREEDOM! Yours, Alicia May Nott *** A/N: Okay, please tell me what you think! I really want to know what you thought of this one!!! Also, in your reviews, note if you want me to keep going or not. I think that this could either be a one-shot or a novelette (I just learned that there was such a thing today!!! J Okay, I feel stupid!) So, please review and let me know. If you say yes, I’ll try to write and post the next chapter as soon as possible! If I decide to add more to this book, the Harry/Hermione theme will start to play a bigger role. It’ll explain why Ron was even interested in Alicia in the first place… ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2. Second Confessions Disclaimer: I don’t own any of the characters/names that you may recognize from JK Rowling’s stories. Also, I don’t exactly know where the term “confessions of…” came from, but I don’t own that either… A/N: I know that I said I wasn’t going to be able to update until next Wednesday, but…I found out that I had some free time that I didn’t think I had so here’s the next chapter! :-) September 1, 1997 Although breakfast starts in five minutes, I thought I’d tell you distressing the happenings of the previous night. I was walking through the oak front doors, when I saw Ron hugging another girl in the Entrance Hall. Why did I suddenly assume that he was single, I mean why would he be. He has to have decent marks to be Head Boy and he’s a fairly good keeper—I’ve seen him play against Slytherin. I was stupid to assume that he would be open to go out with me. I think the girl’s name is Hermione Granger, and from what I’ve heard about her she doesn’t sound too pleasant. In fact, she sound’s like a dirty, scrounging little mudblood prat who thinks that she’s as good as the rest of the wizarding race just because she’s head girl. Wait! What am I saying? Aren’t I the one who just said that I hated my family for discriminating against muggle borns? What the hell am I doing talking about Hermione like this and calling her a mudblood? Truth is I don’t even know her that well. As a matter of fact, I don’t know any muggle-borns at Hogwarts that well. I didn’t really try to get to know them at all. I never wanted to be on good terms with them, in fear that my family would punish me for fraternizing with them. I also never wanted to get on bad terms with them—I never really wanted to become enemies with someone who my attitude was indifferent towards. I’m not even sure if I want to separate myself fully from my family now. Ron was my main reason for wanting to disregard them before my seventh year. Now that I know that I’ll have no chance in hell with him, compared to that role model witch he’s dating, I’m not quite sure if separating from my family would be the best choice. Granted, they abuse me and act crudely towards me whenever I go home for summer, but it’s better to have a home than no home at all. I have one hundred galleons saved up from my childhood—but that wouldn’t get me a week’s rent, let alone a whole summer’s worth. I really don’t know what to do. God, I confuse myself sometimes! Yours, Alicia May Nott September 5, 1997 Overall, classes have been quite dull this week. Then again that’s what I have heard from most people. Fifth and Seventh years are the toughest, because that’s when the teachers are preparing you for your OWLs and NEWTs. Sixth year, however, is stuck in-between and you therefore don’t learn much. Transfiguration will be the most rigorous course, or so it seems. I believe it to be the most challenging because we will start human transfigurations this year, and I believe that it will be quite difficult. Over the past week, I have also observed Ron more and stand confused as to what exactly his relationship is with Hermione. He and Hermione are often accompanied by Harry Potter, and he is usually standing in the middle of him. Oh how I hate Harry Potter! He’s so cocky and thinks that he’s some sort of hero just because he defeated You-Know-Who. It didn’t take much—I mean, for God’s sake, he didn’t even do anything! All he did was sit there, it was his mum’s loved that defeated You-Know-Who, not the will power that came from some baby. Also, he thinks that he’s some sort of Quidditch God too. He claims that if Umbridge hadn’t kicked him off the house team he would’ve been Captain this year. I mean, what about Ron? Ron’s a bloody good captain and Quidditch player—he was responsible for Gryffindor winning the House Cup last year. I think that Ron should stick up for himself. While Harry is there, bragging to some first year and teaching him Quidditch techniques, Ron just stands there and doesn’t say anything. If I ever become friends with Ron, I will teach him how to stand up for himself. Then again, I probably shouldn’t be talking. I can’t work up enough courage to stand up to my family either. Then again, my family’s a lot different from Ron’s friends. My family would hurt me not only emotionally, but also physically, where Ron’s friends couldn’t do a thing to hurt him…wait, I take that back. I’ve heard that Harry Potter can have quite a temper. My dad told me that he used the cruciartus curse on Bellatrix Lestrange just last year. If Ron’s not lucky, he could end up in St. Mungo’s like the Longbottoms. Things to do: Find out the relationship between Ron and Hermione. Find out more about Ron. Find someone to give Harry a good kick in the… (Draco Malfoy???) Yours, Alicia May Nott September 18, 1997 I have not come very far in my list of things to do. Not much on Ron and Hermione is discussed within the Slytherin House. I could always ask, but I don’t really want to seem too interested in them, yet. Same thing holds true with information on Ron. As for having Draco give Harry a good kick in the ass, hasn’t happened yet—I’m not really sure if he will. However, he did jinx Harry’s broom so that he couldn’t control it during Quidditch practice the other day. He embarrassed himself and it was quit hilarious to hear the story from another Slytherin, Vincent Crabbe. Speaking of Vincent, he keeps on asking me if I want to go to Hogsmeade with him on Halloween. I’ve been lucky so far, the first time he asked me, Dumbledore started speaking before I had a chance to answer. Every other time, I’ve made up some excuse to leave before he had a chance to ask me. I don’t know exactly what to say. I mean I don’t like him all that well, but my family would question me if I said no. I mean the Crabbes are an old family friend. My dad has known his dad ever since the days that You-Know-Who began his attacks. I’m pretty sure they’ve been in league with him the entire time. I’d never know though, my father lives a pretty secretive life. Yours, Alicia May Nott September 22, 1997 You never know who your friends are nowadays. For instance, Pansy Parkinson, a seventh year and fellow Slytherin, and I used to be best friends. I’m not sure if that’s quite true anymore. She knows that Crabbe fancies me and she absolutely loathes it. Why, I do not know. All I know is that yesterday, after lunch, she came up to mean and started talking to me for the first time this year. It started out quite pleasantly when she said “Hullo Alicia, how was your summer?” “It was alright.” I shrugged indifferently. “How about yours?” “Oh it was quite pleasant. We went to France and Spain and saw so many things! I think mum and dad wanted to get Peony and me away from all this crap happening around England. I think that the media is making a much bigger deal out of this than it is. I mean with all those mudblood lovers in the Ministry and Dumbledore basically running the place, England is going to the dogs! I don’t see what’s so bad about Voldemort—if the rest of the wizarding world didn’t interfere, Voldemort would leave them alone…” I wanted to tell that I thought that she was full of crap. Voldemort was a threat to the entire population and we were best to be rid of him. I wanted to tell her what I really thought, but I restrained myself. I knew that it was best to lay low, until I figured out what I really wanted. “…Then again, I understand completely if you don’t agree with me. I mean you certainly seem to be going in a different direction from the rest of your family. I was talking to your brother the other day, and he told me that you actually stood up for the mudbloods last summer. What has gotten into you? You’re disgracing your family, ignoring me—this is the first time we’ve talked all year, and, most importantly, stealing Vincent from me!” “WHAT???” I asked, outraged. I knew that she would lecture me about disgracing my family and sticking up for muggle-borns, but I was not expecting the last one. “You heard me—you’re a disgrace to the wizarding world. YOU’RE A BLOOD TRAITOR!!!” “No, the part about Vincent…” “I said that you are trying to seduce him when you knew that I liked him first.” “Firstly, I NEVER tried to seduce him—he came up to me by himself. Secondly, I didn’t know that you liked him. If you did, believe me, I would use it for my use. I would be able to tell him I wasn’t interested without having to make up a reason as to why I didn’t want to go out with him. I could just tell them that I didn’t go out with Vincent since you liked him.” “You liar!” Pansy shouted. “You know what? I never want to see your face ever again!” With that, she stormed down the stairs and into the Slytherin Common Room. I don’t really care—I never really like her that much anyways. It just sort of surprised me that she’d break off our friendship because Crabbe had tried to ask me out. I mean it was obvious that I wasn’t interested. I had always avoided answering his requests. Anyways, I never knew she even liked Crabbe, I’d always thought that it was Draco she had her eye on. I mean, they’d be perfect for each other. Oh well, if she wants to go out with Crabbe, that’s her problem. At least I have an excuse for turning him down when he finally does get all the words out. Yours, Alicia May Nott September 30, 1997 My life just got one hell of a lot better. I found out that Ron and Hermione are not an item. In fact, it’s Harry who ended up asking Hermione out. It’s all around the school—the Head Girl is going out with the Boy-Who-Lived. According to Millicent, they are a disgusting couple. They’ve apparently been friends since first year but Harry just recently worked up the courage to ask Hermione out. Judging by the rumors going around, they were making out in the Entrance Hall the other day and some first years were walking by and McGonagall saw. I can just see the scene now: Harry and Hermione were making out by the grand staircase as some first years came out of the Great Hall. McGonagall came down the stairs and saw them. “Mr. Potter! Ms. Granger! What on earth do you think your doing?” Hermione and Harry would’ve quickly broken apart and Harry would’ve made up some excuse along the lines of: “Err…sorry Professor, didn’t realize anyone would’ve been around.” “This is a public place Mr. Potter. The Minister is coming later today, what if he walked in the front doors while you and Ms. Granger were…” “Professor, listen, we’re really sorry.” Hermione would’ve finally said, after think about it for a while. “You should be Ms. Granger. You are Head Girl. Younger students look up to you, you’re the role model of many.” McGonagall would’ve lectured. Harry probably would’ve snorted and Hermione would’ve either stepped on his toe or elbowed him in retaliation. “Because you have shown public displays of affection in a public place in the castle, twenty-five points will be taken from Gryffindor and you will each serve a detention.” She would have then sent them on their way, and they would’ve walked away quietly. I wonder where Ron would’ve been throughout all this. For surely he wouldn’t have been with him. Nobody talks much about Ron—I need to find out more about him. I guess I’ll just have to get to know him better myself. Since we are in different years, we don’t have any classes together. We’re in different houses, so we don’t share the same common room. The only time I ever see him is at meals. Oh well, I guess I’ll have to get to know him during the rare occasions that I see him. At least I knows that there’s hope! Yours, Alicia May Nott ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3. Third Confessions Disclaimer: I don’t own any of the characters/names that you may recognize from JK Rowling’s stories. Also, I don’t exactly know where the term “confessions of…” came from, but I don’t own that either… October 12, 1997 I hate it when people don’t see things the way I do. Although I may sound selfish by saying it, I wish that everything I wanted would just work out. You may be wondering why I am discussing this. The answer—I’m discussing it because I just realized something horrible. I don’t have a chance in hell with Ron, for two main reasons: 1. He hates ALL Slytherins 2. He thinks I’m a stalker I found this all out from a couple of 5th year Gryffindors I heard talking about me in the hall. They claimed that Ron has seen me following him when I was trying to find out more about him. Damn it, I should have just tried to talk to him. Then again, if he hates all Slytherins, I probably wouldn’t have stood a chance. I don’t get it though. It’s just as unfair for Ron to judge me on what family I come from as it is for my brother to judge muggle-borns on what family they come from. I hate it when people judge people based on who their parents are. Ron got mad at my sister last week because hexed a Gryffindor girl when just yesterday I saw him laughing when Harry Potter hexed Malfoy. Am I overreacting though? Should I give up my goal based on what two stupid fifth year girls said about me in the hallway? No! I think that I’ll still try to pursue him—just because he’s has some stupid prejudice against us, doesn’t mean that he couldn’t like me a at all. Yours, Alicia May Nott October 15, 1997 That pompous git doesn’t know what he’s doing… I was walking followed him out of the Great Hall—but I wasn’t stalking him this time, I swear. I was just going up to talk to him and introduce myself. I wanted him to know who I was, and learn that not all Slytherins were bad. But he just turned around and started yelling at me. “Why the hell are you following me? God! Can I walk anywhere outside the common room without you being there, breathing down my god damn neck?” “I’m sorry; I just wanted to talk to you…” I said, I’m sure that I was bright red by then. “Talk to me? Curse me more like…” Ron muttered. “We’re not all like that!” I said, with a sudden rush of courage. “What do you mean?” He asked, looking at me straight in the eyes. “Slytherins—not all of us gain joy by cursing you.” “Then why have you been stalking me for a fucking fortnight?” He asked angrily. I shrugged—people were starting to watch us now. I didn’t want to tell him I felt with everybody watching. Anyways, I knew what his reaction would be. “See, I told you. You’re trying to kill me. You’re nothing Slytherin freak!!!” He said, pointing a finger at me accusing me. “You categorize too much! Even if I hadn’t followed you, you still would’ve thought me a Slytherin freak!” I retorted, just as angrily. He shook his head in frustration and tried to get past me. I, however, cut him off. “You get angry when someone calls a muggle-born a mudblood…” “Don’t say that word” He interrupted, trying to push me away. I stood my ground. I continued as if he hadn’t interrupted me, “but, you call a Slytherin that you haven’t even met before a freak.” “Saying the world ‘freak’ is a lot different from saying you-know-what!” He retorted. “Would you react differently if I called Granger a freak?” I asked. He didn’t even answer me—he just turned around and stalked off in the opposite direction. God! I don’t understand him! He wouldn’t even give me a chance! He just automatically assumed that I was like a Death Eater or something. I really don’t know what to do now. I already know that I’m going to give up on Ron entirely—not that I have a choice or anything. The thing I’m not sure about is whether I should go through with my plan to change my life around or not. Although I doubt that no Slytherins saw my fight with Ron, news travels fast around this place and I’m sure that they will all know before long. Even though nothing happened and I didn’t say I liked him, they will question why I was following Ron around. I think I’ll probably just tell them that I was going to try and curse him—he is head boy, after all. I’m going to save standing up for what I believe in for later, and focus on getting over Ron right now. Yours, Alicia May Nott October 22, 1997 I’m distressed again—and this time it’s not about Ron or my family. I’ve stopped thinking about both of those things, or at least tried to. This time it’s about something entirely different. After Potions, Professor Snape called me into his office. In six years, it was the first time I had ever been in there, and I was glad of it. As I looked around the place I saw things that looked like brains, hearts and other organs. I was revolted—it was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in my life. “So, Miss Nott, you may be wondering why I have asked you to stay after class.” I nodded, not looking him in the eyes, but at his greasy hooked nose, instead. “I have a student who is in his third year in the same Potions class—he’s having trouble passing. He won’t be able to graduate this year unless he gets his OWL in potions. I suggested that he got himself a tutor. He was surprisingly happy with the idea and asked if you could be his tutor.” Snape explained. “Oh.” I said blandly, “May I ask who he is?” “Vincent Crabbe. I told him that you’d probably say ‘yes’, but that I’d ask you today.” ‘Oh God, oh God, oh God, oh God!’ I thought ‘No! No! No! NO!’ I had to think of an excuse and quickly. “Well…err…I’ve been having some…err…trouble in motions lately and think that I should…err…focus on my on work right now.” I said, hoping that it would satisfy as a good excuse. “Well,” Snape said, looking down at his notebook—damn that stupid notebook. “Your grades are perfectly fine. I don’t see any reason for you not to.” “Well,” I began, choosing my words carefully, “I don’t really understand the information that we’ve learned recently. I think that I should put my energy into studying for the upcoming test right now.” “Well, how about this—you put your energy into studying for the test. If you feel comfortable after it, then you may tutor Mr. Crabbe.” Snape suggested. ‘Oh great’ I thought; ‘now he’s trapped me. He knows fully well that I understand potions, and after I ace this test, I’m gonna be tutoring…him.’ “Ermm…sure, Professor,” I managed to say before leaving his office. Great, the only way out of this is to purposely flunk the test. October 24, 1997 Oh my goodness. I can’t believe what I just did—I just purposely flunked the Potions test. It was my first failing grade all year. I thought I would get a “P” or something horrid like that. When Professor Snape handed me my test he looked disappointed in me. I tried to look up at him as innocently as possible. I don’t think it worked though—I swear that man can read your every thought. I opened up the test and screamed when I saw my mark. I got a “T.” How could I possible get a “T”? This was utterly embarrassing. I didn’t even think there was such a mark—I thought it was just some rumor started by the seventh years to scare us when were little. Unluckily for me, I wasn’t the only one to see my test. Tanya Avery sneaked a peek over at my test as soon as I received it. She shrieked in delight—she had been trying to get something on me ever since I enlarged her grades and permanently stuck in the Entrance Hall. Anyways, she saw my mark and yelled “Alicia got a ‘T!’” loud enough so that the whole castle could hear her. I don’t think I have ever been so embarrassed in my life. I felt my face turn red, and, mind you, that doesn’t happen very often. After class, Snape called me into his office, yet again. When we got in there, he motioned for me to take a seat. “You were right that you didn’t understand the material. I must say that I am disappointed in you.” “I’m sorry, Professor, I tried as hard as I could.” I lied. “I’m sorry to hear it. I think that it is crucial that you get a tutor for this class.” He suggested. “What?” I asked, outraged. But then I tried to cover it up by saying, “What I meant, Professor, was that this was just a section that I didn’t understand.” “But one subject leads to another in Potions. I daresay you should get a tutor soon so that this horrible work doesn’t continue.” He had cornered me, he knew I failed on purpose—I should have obliged to being tutored, that way he might’ve believed me. However, with my personality, I found I couldn’t. Instead, I found myself saying, “I really don’t think that will be necessary, Professor.” “But it will,” Snape said, his lips curling into a twisted smile. “Anyone who claims that grass is the antidote of the forgetfulness potion clearly needs some outside help.” I was worse than cornered this time, I was trapped, and there was no way out. I managed to mumble “Of course, sir” before running out of his office. Yours, Alicia May Nott October 30, 1997 Have I told you that my life is unbearable before? Well, it just got worse. It was my first meeting with my tutor today. So I went to the Library to try and find them. I looked around the Library for a second, trying to find somebody who looked like they were ready to tutor a sixth year Potions student. A Slytherin most likely, they were by far the best at potions. As I looked around the Library, my eyes lingered on Ron for a couple of seconds. Unfortunately, he looked up and saw me staring at him. “What the hell are you staring at?” he asked, angrily. “I was trying to find somebody.” “Oh my God, your stalking me again, aren’t you?” “As a matter of, I’m not, I simply waiting for someone. They’re late,” I observed, looking down at my watch. “Well don’t bother me anymore.” He said simply. “I have to tutor somebody for Potions.” “WHAT?” I asked, outraged. “I…have…to…tutor…somebody…for…potions,” he said each word loudly and clearly. “No, I heard what you said.” I clarified. Out of all the people in this damn school, how come he ended up being my tutor? The one person that I want to get away from right now—the one person I need to get away from in order to preserve my sanity. Yours, Alicia May Nott
