Chapter 10: Christmas as the Burrow!

“I’m so excited!” Hermione squealed as she hopped down the stairs to the Common Room, Draco, Ginny, Ron, and Harry were in the Common Room and they laughed at her antics. Harry was happy to see Hermione filled with happiness and excitement. Hermione ran into the boys’ room to get something then ran back up the stairs to the Head Girl’s room to get a book.

“Is she always like this?” Draco asked.

“All the time.” Both Ron and Harry said.

“I heard that!” Hermione shouted from upstairs, which got the gang cracking up.

“I still don’t think I should come.” Draco said to Ginny.

“It’s okay, mom and dad will love you, they know that you are nothing like you dad and they know what you did for Mione last year, believe me, you are in their good books, especially mom’s.” Ginny assured but Draco still looked wary.

“Relax Buddy, I was the same when I first went there, trust me, you’ll feel right at home.” Harry said and Draco relaxed and Ginny sent him a thankful look, Harry just shrugged and turned to see his harassed girlfriend come down the stairs.

“Where is it?” he heard Hermione muttered.

“What is it babe?” Harry asked and Hermione turned to him.

“I can’t find my diary, I was sure I had it in my room now it’s not there.” Hermione said, looking worried.

“When was the last time you saw it?” Ginny asked.

“Yesterday after the party, I had to write in it and I put it in my drawer now it’s not there.” Hermione said and Harry stood up.

“Come on, we’ll go back up and I’ll help you look for it.” Harry said as he took Hermione’s hand and they both went up the stairs to the Head Girl’s room.

They both turned the place upside down but there was still no diary.

“I don’t understand it! Things just can disappear!” Hermione muttered. Harry sat on the bed and brought out his wand.

“Accio Hermione’s Diary!” Harry demanded and Hermione sat on the bed next to him as they waited, soon there was a whizzing noise and they looked toward the door, it opened and the diary flew in, into Harry’s hand.

“Thank you!” Hermione squealed as she kissed him and took the diary from his hand.

“Mione, if your diary was in your drawer last night, how come it was out there?” Harry asked and Hermione stopped and thought about it.

“Maybe I went down last night?” Hermione suggested and Harry shook his head.

“Never felt you leave the bed last night.” Harry said and Hermione sat on the bed as a thought formed in her head.

“Then that only leaves one thing, someone took it.” Hermione whispered and Harry looked at her.

“Who would want to steal anyone diary, I mean it’s not as if they can really change anything is there?” Harry asked and Hermione nodded in agreement.

“I don’t know Harry, all I know this is scaring me.” Hermione admitted and Harry took her into his arms and hugged it.

“Don’t worry, everything will be find, we’ll find out soon.” Harry whispered as he kissed her forehead.

“Harry!” Molly shouted when she saw Harry step off the train. Harry grinned and held out his arms for her to run into.

“Hey mom.” Harry whispered in her ear and Molly let out a soft sob/laugh as she pulled away, she smiled when she saw Hermione come up beside Harry and he wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

“I see that you got together at last huh?” Molly asked and Harry blushed as Hermione smiled, Molly opened her arms for Hermione to go into.

“Great to see you again mom.” Hermione whispered as she hugged Molly back, Molly laughed as she kissed Hermione’s forehead and let her go so she could turn to her other children.

“Mom.” Ron grinned as he held his arms out with a huge goofy smile on his face, which caused everyone to crack up.

“Ron.” Molly said as she pulled Ron into a hug then pulled Ginny into a hug. She turned to the last person.

“Hello Draco.” Molly greeted with a smile and Draco swallowed nervously.

“Hi Mrs. Weasley.” Draco greeted and Molly laughed.

“Call me Molly dear, come on you lot, no doubt you are starving.” Molly said as she ushered her kids toward the car. “Harry dear, have you been eating enough?” Molly asked and Harry sighed.

“Yes mom.” Harry nodded.

“Well you don’t look like it to me, you are still too skinny, you too Hermione, over the holiday you two are going to be fed.” Molly warned and Harry groaned. Draco turned to Harry.

“Is she always like this?” Draco asked and both, Harry and Hermione nodded.

“Draco dear, you don’t look like you’ve been eating much either. You poor kids, what ever do they do they feed you at that school.” Molly said and Draco went in the car with a look of horror what got the rest cracking up.

“Welcome to the Weasleys mate, you will never forget a thing.” Harry said as he sat next to him and pulled Hermione on to his lap. Draco just looked at Harry with a pained look.

Everyone found themselves in the dining room, laughing.

“Hey Harry, Hermione. Why do you call Molly and Arthur Mom and Dad?” Draco asked.

“They have been like family to us since, well, first year, so we decided to call them our parents, Sirius and Lupin are our uncle while Dumbledore and McGonagall is our grandparents, Snape is…” Harry started but snorted as Hermione tried to hold back her giggles.

“Snape is our Uncle Grumpy.” Hermione finished and they both cracked up, everyone was stunned then they started laughing.

“Oh I wish we could see his face when you actually call him that.” Fred said and everyone just laughed even harder.

‘Yep, this was going to be a great Christmas.’ Harry thought to himself as he hugged Hermione tighter to him.
