A/N Thank you all for your wonderful reviews. And, if you have noticed, I have changed magicked into conjured! I hope this chapter helps you a little more! Do not be afraid to criticize! Oh and I did re-upload the chapter, the first time it wouldn’t work so I thought that it didn’t upload at all! The server is messed up! They said they will fix it ASAP! Thank you for caring!

“That is just the problem, Harry. If it works, then, I’ll be like this for a month!” complained Hermione. Harry stoked some hair away from her glowing face.

“Hermione, nobody will see you! Only the Weasleys!” said Harry, reassuringly. He sat onto the bed and hugged her as she sobbed into his shoulder.

Harry was shocked! He didn’t know what to do, there was just this bundle of gorgeous teenage witch wrapping her arms around him. He decided that he would act as normal as they were before the spell was cast.

“Harry! You better come down here, quick!” sounded Fred’s voice form downstairs. Harry ran down the stairs and braced himself for the bad news.

“Harry, we just found out something. The dove’s tail feather decides how long the beauty will stay-and-well…” said George as he trailed off.

“… They ACCIDENTALLY found out that they bought and everlasting dove’s tail feather. Fortunately, there is a counter spell. Unfortunately, it will take 4 months to make, and that is when the joke shop is closed. I guess… Hermione will have to spend her seventh year looking like this!” finished Ron.

Harry couldn’t even say anything! He was so dumbstruck that he just ran upstairs and told Hermione the awful news. Hermione asked Harry to leave and then she didn’t come out of her room for 5 hours. Nobody knew what she was crying about that day, but they knew that she would never talk to Fred and George again in her life.

Hermione asked Ginny to slide her dinner under the door and Ginny obeyed. When Ginny was about to slide the food, Hermione opened the door and invited her in.

“I didn’t change my clothes. The potion does it for me! I hate these clothes, they are too… flirty!” huffed Hermione in Unison. She was wearing a silk, lavender night-dress with suede at the top and there was a netting kind of robe around it that kept flowing around because of the wind. Ginny thought she was beautiful, but didn’t say anything to make Hermione angry.

“I think that you should change by yourself,” replied Ginny.

“I’ve tried,” murmured Hermione. She walked over to the clothes cupboard and opened it, she threw out all the flaunty and girly clothes that were very similar to the one Hermione was wearing now. Ginny felt jealous, she couldn’t even afford good cotton!

“If you want them, you can have them! I’m not wearing them, I would never!” said Hermione, then she turned her nose up.

Ginny had no clue on what to say or do, she just stared at the clothes and then at Hermione. When she finally managed to try to say something, the door flew open.

“All right! Hermione, what did those horrid twins do to you! I bet they didn’t try to shave off all your head hair, or make you throw up for their nasty--- Hermione?” said Mrs. Weasley in an angry tone which quickly changed into a surprised one, “I thought that they did something horrible? They did something wretched! How could they change your appearance? How long will this stay?” asked Mrs. Weasley, acting as if she was Hermione’s mother.

“Forever,” said Hermione as she plopped face-down onto the bed. Mrs. Weasley decided it wise not to interrogate her anymore. She made a motion with her hand to Ginny to leave her alone and come down to dinner. Ginny obediently walked down before getting a glimpse of Hermione.

The next morning, Hermione was a lot more cheerful and giddy.

“Good Morning, Ronald and Harry! Good Morning Frederick, George, and Virginia (A/N Is it Virginia or Ginevra?)! How do you do Mr. and Mrs. Weasley?” squealed Hermione. She sat down and grabbed a piece of toast. Everybody was staring at her and she didn’t even notice.

“Looks like you feel better!” said Ron inconsiderately as he stuffed a piece of toast into his mouth and Harry stepped on his foot.

This morning, Hermione was wearing a suede jade spaghetti strap top with silky white pants. Ginny was almost mad at Hermione now.

“Yes, well, I’ve started thinking that is won’t be that bad. I am looking better, and the potion doesn’t change my personality! Oh, today I am going to fireworks plaza to visit Cho!” said Hermione with a sparkling smile.

Ron spit out his orange juice and started choking on his toast when he heard this. Harry’s mouth dropped and Fred and George had guilty written all over their faces.

“Um, kids, I have to go to work and your mother is going to a meeting in her garden club for Witch Weekly. I guess you will have to stay home with Fred and George and Hermione is the only one allowed to go out!” said Mr. Weasley. Without hesitation, he grabbed some toast and apparated away, as did Mrs. Weasley.

“You mean Cho? Cho Chang, the insolent witch that used Harry for her own selfish desires and then tried to use me, too? Hermione, how could you?” blurted out Ron after a very awkward silence.

“Oh, Ron, don’t be silly! Cho isn’t so bad once you get to know her, she has a really great sense of style!” said Hermione as she helped herself to some more food. Harry was just waiting for her to pop up out of her seat and yell, “GOTCHA!” and start laughing, but it never happened.

Ginny silently got out of her seat and put her plate for washing. She ran upstairs and wasn’t seen for the rest of the day.

“Well, I got to go! I can’t be late for shopping!” said Hermione and she got up out of her seat to. Ron grabbed her hand, gave her a cold look and then let go. Hermione didn’t notice anything, she just waltzed out of the door while saying ‘Cheerio’ and ‘Chao’ to the stunned group of boys.

“That was –er- interesting. Look, Harry, the potion doesn’t change personality or attitude, but it can’t prevent it either. The whole ‘gorgeous’ thing is getting to her head and she is probably going to be like this! George and I will go to our shop straight away and start on the counter curse!” said Fred, with a flash, the twins were gone. Leaving Ron and Harry with their thoughts.

“Harry,” Ron started, but he stopped.

“Look, you don’t have to do anything. I will just have to get used to the fact that Hermione has started to hang out with the more popular people. At least there is no Cho at school! I have to go speak to Ginny for a second,” said Harry. He got up and went upstairs.

“Ginny?” said Harry as he knocked on the door.

“You can’t come in, talk to me through the door. I’ll talk first, though. Hermione is really somebody else! She has all these fancy clothes and she has probably forgotten about S.P.E.W! She isn’t the same, Harry. I want the normal Hermione back, so, promise me something. Do whatever you can at school to get her back!” said Ginny through the door. It sounded as if she had just finished with a good cry.

“I totally agree, and I do promise that, we will do it together!” said Harry, and then he walked away.

                                                ~Hogwarts Express~ a month later

“Hermione! Don’t forget your extra suitcase! You really do have a lot of clothes! Be good, you four!” shouted Mrs. Weasley over the train’s engine’s whirs.

“So, Harry, do you have any ideas for V-Day? Well, I might ask somebody out!” giggled Hermione. She jumped onto Harry’s lap, like she always does. This time, though, he winced because he has gotten really sick of the new Hermione and he has to deal with her for 2 more months!

“Who?” said Harry in a disinterested tone.

“You! You are my best friend so I know you won’t say no! Plus, you have really filled out during the summer!” said Hermione as she poked him in the stomach.

“WHAT? ME? No, you can’t be serious! I might not even go!” said Harry.

“GOTCHA! I can’t believe you fell for that, why would I ask you, like I said, you are my best friend!” said Hermione and know she giggled furiously. Harry felt like blowing up, but he kept calm.

“Hermione, maybe you should go and sit in Ginny’s stall? I need to talk to Harry,” said Ron, trying to save Harry’s life.

“OK, I have to gossip to her anyway!” said Hermione and all eyes were on her as she walked down the aisle. Because they didn’t know what happened to her over the summer.

When they reached good old Hogwarts, they longed for Hagrid. Over the summer, Hagrid had told them that he wouldn’t be there for their last year because he was invited to the Romanian magic school to take care of their vicious dogs. He had to go immediately, but he would be there for the last week of school. Harry felt bad because he really could’ve used Hagrid’s advice.

As the grand feast was starting, all the seventh year boys were asking Hermione what happened. Hermione loved all the attention and told all of them to call her Mione.

“What, we’ve always asked her if we could call her that and she got mad! Harry, I’m sending a letter to Fred and George to close the shop for a month so they can work on the potion some more!” said Ron, but Harry grabbed his hand.

“NO! They need the money, plus, she isn’t that bad! At least she hasn’t become stupid,” said the optimistic Harry, but he was wrong.

“Welcome back! I didn’t miss most of you and I won’t ask if anybody knows the answer to the question on the board because I know none of you do, except for one. Hermione, tell us, I know you are dying to, so I am giving you a head start,” said Professor Snape and he looked at Hermione expectantly. Hermione stared at him blankly then she spoke.

“Usually, over the summer I research these things. But, this summer, I have made time for more important things. Because, I’m wasting my time because we are going to learn those things again anyway, so what is the point?” said Hermione. The people who weren’t already staring at her quickly looked at her. The whole class didn’t know what to do or say.

“Well, I am most appalled at your performance Miss Granger. Is this a joke, because I don’t find it very funny? I have gotten used to your know-it-all attitude and I was actually looking forward to it this year. Pity, such a pity,” said Snape and then he made a ‘tsk’ sound with his tongue.

“Professor, if you haven’t noticed, Granger is a Barbie doll. Not only does she look different, but her head it also filled with only plastic!” tormented Malfoy. The whole class cracked up at this and Hermione just shot Draco a cold look.

“Draco, I did research the answer and it is Goodtord mixed with therlite equals a very active and rigorous formula known as maflit and these three chemicals combined equal a harmless product called ink!” said Hermione in a bitterly, sweet way.

Harry almost smiled, Hermione was back! He shot Ron a look of gratitude and Hermione was normal for the rest of the day. Until it came to after school was over…………..
