Chapter 2
Robert was walking towards Hogwarts castle. He was due to see the headmaster, Albus Dumbledore. He didn't say exactly why, but he knew that it had to do with his curse. Maybe something else, but he wasn't sure. This was the first time he had ever seen the castle, but it didn't make as much of an impression as it did to most everyone else. He walked through the castle, taking only 40 minutes to find the headmaster's office and only getting lost twice. He finally reached the stone gargoyle the guarded the staircase, only to find that it opened for him. Confused, but only slightly, he walked onto the revolving staircase, waiting until he reached the top. When he reached the door, he stopped, hearing voices from inside.
"You sure about this, Albus?" said one voice.
"Yes, I am, Severus, this is the one. We've finally found him," the unmistakable voice of Albus Dumbledore said. "Speaking of the devil, here he is now..." At that, the door opened, and Robert walked into the office, seeing Dumbledore sitting behind his desk, Severus Snape sitting in an armchair in front of the desk. There was an empty armchair that Robert immediately knew was for him, and he sat down, not looking at anyone. Snape, surprisingly, was the first one to start speaking. "Robert Schaza, right? You're the experiment, aren't you?"
"Yes, but don't call me that," Robert said scathingly, "I am. Though Albus told you, you still had to see with your own eyes, didn't you? You never would take a person's word for it."
"How do you -- "
"My abilities allow me to notice things that many people never do. I was able to sneak into Albus's mind, and what I saw in there, especially about you, amazed me. I've been able to tell things about people that no one would ever know if they didn't have abilities like mine." Robert said flatly.
"Will you please show us the proof?" Dumbledore said. "I just want to be totally sure."
Robert sighed, and pulled off his cloak. He then pulled off his dragon scale jacket. He was wearing a black t-shirt, but what was strange was that the glove on his left hand didn't end at the wrist like his other glove. Instead, it went all the way up to his left shoulder. He reached up and pulled off the glove. What Dumbledore and Snape saw shocked them both. They just stared at him until he hastily put the glove back on again. When Snape finally regained the ability of speech, he couldn't do much more than stutter.
"You-you're the..."
"Yes, I am. For some reason, Voldemort thought that it would be a good idea to try and make a hybrid of sorts. He wanted to make an army of them. but he was defeated by the time he even could make one successfully."
"Yes, but wouldn't it -- " Snape began, but was cut off.
"Yes it would. However, he wasn't aware of what could go wrong." Robert said. "Isn't there anything else you have to tell me about, Albus?"
"Yes, there is," Dumbledore said, "I was wondering if you would like to attend Hogwarts. I am sure that I can arrange for you to enter the fifth year, or even the sixth year if I pull a few strings."
"I'd prefer fifth, but could it be possible to take my O.W.L.'s beforehand, and still be in fifth year? I have the feeling that that'd be best." Robert asked.
"Yes, I guess you could. I could test you, but why exactly do you want to do this?" Dumbledore said, for once very confused.
"I want to be able to try and enjoy my life for once. I've been forced to fend for myself far too long, I need a time where I can avoid having to do things necessary to survive. I just don't want to have to stress over the exams. There is also the thing that we discussed earlier this year in Innsbruck..."
"Yes, I know about that. I'll have to do a little searching for that, but I'm sure that we set that up. You have already gained Harry's trust, have you not?"
"I'm not so sure, I think I pushed him a bit too far. Although I did get the information I was looking for. Why you wouldn't tell me, I'm not sure..."
"I have my reasons. I didn't think you'd go to such lengths to get it, but I can't do anything now. Well, best be off. Try and talk to Miss Granger. I believe that you know where to find her?" Dumbledore said.
At that, Robert remembered something that he had to tell Dumbledore. "By the way, Albus, about Miss Granger..."

Hermione Granger was currently sitting up in her room, trying to read. She'd never had trouble reading before, but something was causing her trouble. Something was very wrong. She looked out her window, suddenly noticing that it was late at night, around eleven P.M. Just then, she heard a knock on the door to her room. Thinking it was one of her parents checking on her (as they had been doing more and more recently, she thought), she walked to the door. When she opened it, she was shocked to see a tall figure in a black cloak looking down at her. She was suddenly scared. It looked like a dementor, and it suddenly struck her how defenseless she was without her wand. However, the figure merely lowered its hood, and Hermione was relieved when she saw it was only a person. However, she immediately had questions.
"Who are you? What are you doing here? What -- "
"Slow down. First off, let's introduce ourselves properly. I'm Robert Schaza. Who are you?"
"Hermione Granger. But that -- "
"I said slow down!" Robert said, something close to amusement in his voice. "Let me tell you what I'm here for, then I'll answer the questions you have. I am here because I talked to your friend Harry Potter -- "
"You talked to Harry?!" Hermione almost yelled. "Is he okay? What's bothering him? Why won't he write back to me? What -- "
Robert tuned Hermione out, amused. She was so obsessed about Harry, it was funny. He knew amusement, but it wasn't that familiar to him. When Hermione finally stopped talking, he replied to her. "Hermione, I have an idea for you. How would you like to spend the rest of the summer with Harry? I can work with Albus to arrange for him to go somewhere else with you. You may bring your friend Ronald along if you want." As he said that, Robert noticed a slight change in Hermione's emotions. He wasn't sure what it was, but it seemed a little negative. He opened his senses to try and figure out what emotion she was feeling, but then noticed something was wrong. His mind was being overloaded with emotions, so he tried to shut the reception off. Hermione was looking at him strangely, as he looked as if he was in extreme pain.
"What's wrong, Robert?" Hermione asked.
"There's -- " he began, but the explosion cut him off.
