“Everyone, I've got wonderful news,” Harry announced at the breakfast table the next morning. He had indeed rested well the night before, and felt very prepared for what he was going to do this day. Around the table was Sirius, Remus, Hermione (sitting as close as she could to Harry), the 'good' Weasley's, and Hermione's parents.

“What's that Harry?” Hermione asked, interested in the good mood Harry was in.

“I've figured out how to defeat Voldemort, and have scheduled it for this morning, as soon as I am done here.”

There was complete silence around the table for several moments before nearly everyone erupted into some sort of noise, be it disbelief, shock, worry, or any number of other things. Harry waited patiently for it to settle back down, contemplating whether or not magic would be needed. In the end, after a few minutes when everyone realized that Harry wasn't going to answer any questions until they had indeed settled down, they did just that.

“Harry, I think I speak for all of us when I ask how exactly you are planning on doing this,” Remus asked.

Harry smiled. “First a little back story, for those of you who do not know. There is a prophecy concerning Voldemort and I. Basically one of us is going to kill the other. Also, I'm supposed to have a power that Voldemort doesn't know about. I believe I have found that power, and with it, am now able to defeat Voldemort - rather easily, I might add.”

“And what is this power?”

“Simple, my new found Lordship over this island!”

“Would you care to elaborate on that a bit?”

“I was reading 'Azkaban, a History' last night when I discovered an ancient tool some of the previous lords had created to help them in their task of imposing justice. Though traditionally, the Lords are very powerful, ever so often, there would be someone with more power than them. One Lord came up with a solution, called, 'the Orb.' Basically, it's an Orb that dispenses justice. It can only be used by a Lord of Azkaban, and only against someone of great power. It was created using a modified 'Horcrux,' whatever that is, spell.”

“Did you say Horcrux, Harry?” Remus asked, startled. “That is very dark magic. Dumbledore suspected that Voldemort was using them. Are you sure this 'Orb' is a good thing?”

“Er, I don't know anything about how the orb was created besides what was written in the book. What is a Horcrux anyway?”

Remus explained, “A Horcrux is an object that holds a piece of someone's soul, in order to help them achieve immortality. If one part ever 'dies' the other can be turned into another copy, sort of like a clone. There is very little known about them. Dumbledore had me doing some research, but I was never able to come up with anything. What I know, Dumbledore himself told me.”

Harry frowned. “I wonder if Tom Riddle Diary was a Horcrux?”

Remus nodded. “That was one of Dumbledore's theories. I cannot know if it is correct or not.”

Harry shook his head. “We're getting off track. The orb has been used for several hundred years without a problem. No matter how it was made, it will suit our purposes. Even if it was borne out of dark magic, it now serves a decidedly light purpose. This afternoon, I have a meeting with Voldemort, as Lord of Azkaban. I will meet with him and give him some story about how I've recently returned and would like to join with him. As an offering, I will give him the Orb, which will then work it's magic, and I can come back here and throw a party.”

Hermione eyes had widened and stayed that way for the last several minutes. “You can't be serious, Harry! You have no idea if this will really work or not. You could be walking into a another trap, for all you know.”

Harry shook his head. “I know this is the right thing to do. There is no mistaking it. I have a very strong urge to do this thing, and I am going to do it. I'll have a portkey on me, in case things go wrong, but I do not expect that to be the case.”

Hermione's objection was only the first of many. The consensus was that Harry was complete bonkers (although it was said in nicer terms.). Harry didn't take any of them seriously, and actually began laughing after a while, which basically pissed everyone off.

Luckily, it was at that moment that Leo Evans strode into the room, having been disturbed by the ruckus, and wanted to investigate. Someone - he didn't know who - filled him in, and Leo nodded solemnly. He pulled out his wand and let loose a very loud spell, effectively quieting the room.

“May I have your attention please. I believe I can calm everyone's fears, if you give me the chance to explain. My Lord, as per your order, Paul is waiting you in your quarters. With your permission, I will handle this here.”

Harry simply smiled and strode out of the room. The last thing he heard was an unidentifiable voice yelling, 'Are you mad?' followed by a petrification spell.

“I have everything ready for you, My Lord,” Paul stated as Harry entered his quarters.

“Excellent, Paul. With luck, I'll be back in a few hours and this whole thing will be over with,” Harry said, surveying the equipment and garb that Paul had set out. It was the battle robes of the Lord of Azkaban, and Harry had never laid eyes on something he felt was so magnificent. As he began to put them on, Paul spoke again.

“This does simplify things greatly, My Lord. With your success today, we will be able to focus on the Ministry.”

There was an actual glint in Harry's eyes when Paul pointed that out. “Indeed my friend. And at the top of that list is Cornelius Fudge and Delores Umbridge. I think I might actually have a bit of fun with them.”

END CHAPTER

A/N: Ok, this is actually painful for me to write, but you all are demanding more of this story. I think it will continue to be painful until I start the Ministry trials, which is going to be a lot of fun to do. Love it, Hate it, let me know, I guess.
