Hi everyone! Wait! Before you start chucking tomatoes, yes I know that I haven’t updated in a horribly long long time, but there’s a reason for that, a couple, as a matter of fact. See, there was the issue of my end of semester assignments which were due, then my final exams, then my birthday, then the fact that I’m working five days a week and then the fact that I am moving house IN THE MIDDLE OF MY EXAMS!! So yes…

I don’t really think anyone reads this until I actually tell you all that I’ve updated this page…but anyway, I’ll be back early next month…but I will try to update at least once before then… =)

Okay, so on with the thank you’s. My last post on this page was way back in August so that’s pretty scary, I am such a lazy bumm.

I told you already, happy endings, happy endings, but that doesn’t mean I can’t chuck in a few twists now and then =) Actually, I sort of like Hermione a bit more since OotP, I mean granted she’s annoying as hell, but you can’t say she ain’t a smart cookie. Glad you like my descriptions of Beauxbatons and Ginny’s new robes, they took a lot of research and creation on my part. Had to go over many parts of GoF to get Fleur’s descriptions of Beauxbatons and the colours, fabrics and styles of the dress robes the chicks wore to the Yule ball. Oh and yes, basically, Draco is just stuffing them in the drawer, he’s too proud to read them. Haha, time for the old frying pan to go to work. Hehe.

Because I do actually have a couple of requirements before I will agree to beta read for someone, don’t worry, it’s nothing too demanding. But just so I know what I’m getting myself into. Glacio Wow, a very insightful reader. You’re right, I do tend to go off the plot once in a while, but I like to refer to them as timeouts rather than derailing…haha. I apologize if you find it hard to follow, and yes, there are parts that are rushed because I want to get it finished and move on to better and brighter things. You have to understand, this is my first story EVER in existence which has lasted longer than ten pages. Also, the lots of cliché ideas, that’s true too, see, when I created this fic, I basically gathered up all the things I love about d/g from various fics I’ve read and worked them together into TsTr. That’s why I find it so hard to find a proper summary for this fic because it’s a mixture of everything and anything combined, it’s just an ordinary d/g fic which I hope I can write well enough to present it as an enjoyable piece of d/g. Thanks for your observations, I will work hard to improve =) please stay with me and continue to give me feedback!

Jaelyss Where have you been dear? I know, Draco’s a bitter bitter boy, but I’m hoping to get him back to normal asap. I was actually not planning on any fluff when they meet…anyway, we’ll do it my way first, and if I get complaints, then I let the fluff have free reign for a while =)

Kirixchi Yes, I want to shake Mr Malfoy hard too, but he’s being stubborn, what can I do with him? *sigh* haha, I’m with you, although I’d rather wait and see how JK is gonna get them together. Harry/Ginny is a pretty good ship, but nothing will ever beat Draco/Ginny. I’ve never seen an Audrey Hepburn movie…that’s bad right? *ducks flying tomatoes* Hey! Stop that! I’ve seen her pictures though, and no, Ginny’s not going to be all that sophisticated, but I will give her a touch of elegance just to spice things up. Oooh, some reader insight, yes I admit that Player Draco will be back in the next chapter, just for one chapter. But it’s good to see that some of my readers can actually see where this is heading. Draco’s letter will be the only piece of correspondence that you will see. I’m not really planning to show the letters Ginny writes just for the simple reason I can’t be bothered, haha, but if I get enough demands then I’ll think about it. purpledaisey Yes Lucius is aware of their relationship, but he doesn’t realise it’s more than just a physical attraction. By the way, what’s a ‘plugs’ talk? I’m afraid that Draco showing up at the Burrow to say goodbye to Ginny is out of the question, just because Draco is a stubborn arse who needs a good kick in the right direction. However, I’ll try to think of something entertaining for a Side Dish on the missing summer months, but I might not be able to get it out very soon. I’ve been attacked by various plot bunnies the past week and right now I’ve got around six unfinished one-shots to take care of, bear with me here ok? I hope you will actually enjoy Ginny and Draco’s reunion, but if you’re imagining something along the lines of all fluff, ‘I missed you love’ ‘I missed you more’, haha then you’re in for a big shock. =)

Do not even worry, Draco will not all of a sudden turn good in Year Seven, by now you should be able to trust me that I wouldn’t do something like that! Also, a battle at the school…hehe, sounds familiar, (whispers in secretive voice: it’s a part of my plot! Big pat on the back for guessing it right) Another bit of insight, yes Harry bracelet will play an important part, but not for Draco, hehe. You’ll see soon enough.

Resse Darling Haha Resse, you’re too much of a romantic. Sappy is okay once in a while, but I still believe that Draco’s letter was overly dramatic, I seriously couldn’t sit still while I was writing it, and that’s saying something! I assure you Draco will get sick of wallowing very soon, but what he reverts back to…well, I’m not guaranteeing that it’ll be enjoyable for you. Yes, Voldemort will begin to issue orders soon enough, and that will be the catalyst for the ending, so, hold your breath now! Hehe. And that’s a good question, will Draco really be able to go through with it all? It’s pretty much the central focus of the next couple of chapters. Hehe, you’re such a softie, Draco’s letter wasn’t even that emotional, I’ve read better I assure you =)

Don’t worry about a thing, Draco and Ginny will live happily ever after if I can help it. But there’ll be a couple more turns for them first, you don’t mind do yah? Makes for good reading =)

Just to clear up a few things, no Draco does not read or write any letters to Ginny, he stuffs Ginny's letters in a drawer. Also, Ginny's letters will not be revealed just because I'm too lazy and they're not really important to the story, but if you're really desperate to read them, leave me a note and I'll see what I can come up with. Louis was just Ginny's dance partner, there will be no love affairs with French boys, so keep your minds at ease =) I've had two complaints about my grammar, so I shall double my efforts to edit my next chapters to make them as readable as possible! crazyeyes33 Well, I’m glad you enjoyed my beginnings. I want to mention once again, that this fic is foremost a romance, any angst is used to forward the plot. So if you’re an angst fan who can’t tolerate fluff, I don’t really recommend this fic for you, however, another loyal reader of mine- Jaelyss is someone who can’t stand fluff, but she still manages to put up with me, I’m hoping you can kindly do the same.

Chapter 13 – Permission?! Was about much more than just Draco writing a letter, I hope you had noticed that, or it would mean you haven’t been paying attention to the story. I’m not sure if it’s apparent or not, but in this fic I tend to create a situation and then when it is solved, I write something inconsequential so as to give the readers a breather. Such as the Sara problem, once it was solved, everyone went on holidays to cool off. Such is my writing style, Draco writing the letter served two purposes, one was of course to get the approval of Ginny’s parents, the second, was to serve as a bit of fluff to show Draco’s dedication to Ginny. I think that bit of fluff is entirely acceptable since this is a romance, but if you find it ‘silly’ then well, what can I say?

The next part of Chapter 13 was very important and anything but ‘silly’. The Trio’s acceptance of Draco is an important part of d/g relationship, and although they don’t entirely accept him, at least they know Draco’s feelings for Ginny are genuine. Draco telling off the Trio was also important and a vital part to Ginny’s development, the Trio needs to realise how they’ve been treating Ginny. The last part, with Draco and Ron having a ‘warm fuzzy moment’ was my attempt at humor so if it seems ‘silly’ to you, then I apologize, my humor has always been a bit off. Apart from that, I don’t really see anything else you could find ‘silly’ about Chapter 13, it was a rather important chapter if I do say so myself.

Now, the next issue, Ginny’s attitude and personality, I’m not quite sure what aspect you’re referring. Do you mean Ginny’s attitude toward Draco changes? Coz this is a d/g fic, isn’t that a given? Or do you mean her attitude toward her family, or Harry, or her friends? I’m not particularly sure. Ginny’s personality on the other hand, I can most assuredly say I haven’t changed it at all. In the first four years Ginny is pretty shy and infatuated with Harry, but she still has the Weasley temper and can stand up for herself most of the time. That hasn’t changed, she can still stand up for herself, and her infatuation for Harry has changed into friendship. However, she has to grow as a character and mature, so slight changes in personality and attitude are a given I’d say. If you’d like to tell me about the specifics of Ginny’s personality and attitude that you think I’ve changed, please do, I will definitely look into it.

Enter Name I’ll let you in on a little secret, I’ve actually finished writing all the chapters for sixth year, I’m just taking my time uploading them one by one. So, why don’t you stop telling me to hurry up and write, and tell me why you gave me 8 out of 10 instead? Was it the Death Eater initiation? I’m pretty sure I made it clear that you shouldn’t hold your breathes about the Death Eater thing, Draco is going to become one no matter what. It’s what he does after that’s important.

Hermione Malfoy Well, if you despise vernacular with a passion, then you’d better keep your eyes closed for the following chapters, because there will be a liberal dose of vernacular within every chapter for sixth year. It does seem to me that you have a lot of ‘hates’ and ‘dislikes’.

I will not have Draco doing anything of the sort, I love his body parts to bits and he will not so much as lose a hair. He will of course, deal with the situation in his own way, which I don’t guarantee you will all like.

PS I hate Hermione/Draco shippings, hadn’t you gotten the point from my Author Notes? Oh well, and once again, I remind you, you do not have to review my story on

I’m glad you’ve put up with me for so long, I assure you that sixth year isn’t gonna be 10+ chapters, coz the main story happens during fifth year, sixth year is like a filler year and seventh year is the ending. The way I’ve planned it, sixth year will be 4 chapters, seventh year 3 chapters and an epilogue. I hope to end the fic with 24chapters and epilogue. So yeh, the ending is gonna come very soon.

Keila there’s no particular reason why Ginny calls Draco ‘Malfoy’, lol, but yeh since everyone has been asking me that, I’ll try to rectify that in seventh year =)

Kirixchi I’m glad you like my Beauxbatons setting, I spent a long time trying to figure out how I wanted Beauxbatons to be like =) And what you said about the Death Eater scene, that was soo what I was going for! Yay, another reader who understands me =) I’m actually quite neutral when it comes to Lucius, what I do know is, I hate it how in many d/g fics Draco’s home life is in shambles and they all say how Lucius beats him up and stuff. Too much influence from the Draco Trilogies I’d say. To me, there is no way Lucius would beat up his own son, the most is maybe a chillier attitude and a strict homelife. I have no idea what Narcissa will say! I must get her to make a reappearance soon, I’m starting to miss her, we haven’t heard from her since chapter 1! Haha

Jaelyss =) Thank you dear, your reviews really spur me on. I hate Brave New World with a passion, probably due to the ridiculous amount of times I’ve had to study it for English. I love characterization, it’s what I live for, although at times, I tend to let the plot take over, and that’s where I find I get lots of reviews saying they’re interested in hearing more from a certain person’s POV. Oh well, nobody’s perfect. *shrugs* I’m ashamed of myself for using Harry as a tool, >,< but I don’t know, I kinda like the love triangle of Harry pining after Ginny, while Draco is jealous of Ginny spending time with Harry. And Ginny being desperately annoyed at both of them. Hehe.

Yeah, actually, the reason why I put in the first four chapters as the first four books was because I didn’t want readers to think, ‘ok, she totally skipped development and jumped straight in’. I wanted to give the readers some background on d/g relationship before fifth year. I know I could have done that in flashbacks…but…I dunno, I was lazy hehe.

Resse Darling haha I know, we can’t have Draco thinking he’s the dominant partner in this relationship can we? wink*wink. I reckon Draco is very much in love with Ginny, but also very insecure because of his love. She is like his everything, his survival from himself, but he feels that he isn’t Ginny’s everything. She’s got her family and Harry and Hermione, she’s got friends who love her, and then she’s got him. So he’s insecure, and jealous, which in turn leads to anger and lashing out, which we all know Draco is good at doing, (damn that quick tongue of his, hehe)

Oh dear, I don’t actually mind flames so long as the person is brave enough to leave a proper name and probably their email so I can explain it to them. But most flames I get are signed by anonymous with a brief one-liner and no return address.

The most interesting review I’ve received for this story was at ff.net. The review was something like:

Review – ‘you've set this for when draco is beginning year one. Ginny should not be in the story...as she hasn't started school yet.’

And the whole world just comes crashing down around me after I read that. I mean, it’s enough that they didn’t bother to read the entire chapter properly or even move on to the second chapter to verify anything, but to actually post that and run away without a reply address. Tsk tsk. Don’t you agree?

I must say, the ‘good pairings’ as you put it, really turn my stomach. I hate Draco/Harry, and even the queen of fan fiction CC hasn’t been able to change my mind on it, and Draco/Hermione, urgh, reading the Draco Trilogy, I want to go at her with a sledgehammer for just being so damn perfect. Yes I’m pretty sure Draco wants to sleep with her, but umm that’s not exactly what that thought was supposed to mean, it was just like he didn’t purposely be nice to her because he wanted to sleep with her…anyway doesn’t matter. I don’t know why I bothered with the H/G scene, I guess I just want to make sure that the reason Ginny got over Harry is obvious and explained you know?

Did you like the scene when Draco gave back Ginny’s necklace? It took me a while, because I didn’t want to make it so fluffy that you would gag but then it had to be sweet as well … player!Draco will be back I promise, the bit with Katherine is just an entrée my dear, but you’ll have to wait a few chapters ok? ^-^

You don’t like Katherine?? =( I love Katherine, haha ok well, I should really put in my author notes where I get some of my inspiration from, well Katherine is from the movie Cruel Intentions, you know Sara Michelle Gellar? But only her charming part, not her bitchy part. Let me explain more about Katherine’s character since we won’t be seeing any more of her. Remember how she’s a sixth-year? So she’s more experienced with this whole love and lust thing, and she’s cool about it without being a mean gossiping bitch, that’s why Draco asks her about it. I can’t imagine Draco being that broody and introverted, only about Death Eater stuff you know? Like the really serious, dark things that he doesn’t believe anyone would understand.

Resse Darling: Well the thing is, I’ve got this friend who’s been reading my fic, not really beta-ring it for me coz he’s worse at English than I am, but just coz I sent him the first few chapters and he got hooked. So he was pretty shocked at the sex scene, and I quote ‘THEY HAD SEX??!!! OMG!’ So if a guy is saying this to me, I thought it’d be pretty shocking to most readers, that’s why I put in the author notes. You know how people are, they expect the first kiss, first night together to be romantic and sweet and fluffy etc

Haha, sorry to keep you guys on cliffies about those two for so long, but I assure you that they’ll get together, very soon! And don’t worry, Draco won’t try to take it back or anything, once he sets his mind on something, he won’t quit till he gets it =) Don’t you like Sara? Can’t blame you, but I assure you that Sara’s only doing what she thinks is best for Ginny, even if it doesn’t seem that way… =)
