Call Me...

1. Call Me...

A/N: Since I haven’t posted anything here in quite some time, I decided to post this little one-shot in honor of my birthday.  I wrote this a while ago, and some of my closest friends who have read it have said that this is their favorite story of mine, so I’m sharing it with all of you wonderful PK readers.

Technically, this was not beta’ed (even though my beta read it afterwards and couldn’t find a thing), so please disregard any mistakes you might find.

Thank you, and please enjoy!

Harry sighed as the telephone sitting on his nightstand rang insistently.  He rolled his eyes as he turned to pick up the handset.  “Hermione,” he started, knowing exactly who was on the other end of the call, “do we really have to do this?”

“Harry,” she answered him, trying to keep the whine out of her voice, “I go along with everything you want us to try.  Just…humor me this one time.”

Harry sighed again.  “There are a lot of other things I’d rather do to you than just ‘humor’ you, Hermione.”

Hermione laughed; it was a low chuckle that fueled the fire burning in Harry’s chest…and maybe in a few other places as well.  “Lean back, Harry, and just imagine, all right?”

“Okay” was his hesitant response.

“Good.”  Hermione settled back in the mountain of pillows on her own bed and exhaled slowly.  “Imagine me walking into your room, wearing nothing but that little silk nightgown I wore the first night we slept together.”

Harry closed his eyes and gasped at the memory.  “Gods, Hermione,” he whispered.  “You were so beautiful.  Still are.”

She smiled to herself before continuing.  “Now imagine me walking over to your bed and climbing over you to straddle your hips.”  Her smile took on an evil twist as she heard his slight moan.  “I settle myself over you and rock my hips just once, grinding against you.”  She held back her giggle as she heard a rustle of fabric over the phone line.  “Do you like that, Harry?”

She was answered by nothing more than a creaking noise and then dead air.

Hermione sat up in her bed, hoping she hadn’t gone too fast for him.  “Harry?” she said loudly, wondering what went wrong.  “Harry, are you there?”

“Hermione.”

Her gaze flew to the form standing at her door.  There was Harry, face flushed and chest heaving.  Hermione’s once-over showed her exactly how her words had affected him.  “Yes?” she said in a soft voice.

With a predatory look in his eyes, Harry started walking slowly towards Hermione’s bed.

“Hang up the phone.”
