A/N: Yeah, short chapter, I know! But lack of reviews is de-motivating me !! The next chapter will be really long, I promise!!
The next morning, Lily awoke early and for the first time in her life, she awoke to the sound of chirping birds. This immediately put her in a good mood, and she walked out of the tent, immediately, not even bothering to change out of her pajamas. Once in the clearing, she stretched out her arms, twirling around many times before she laughingly fell on the ground, lying down and closing her eyes for a few moments before getting up to return to her tent.
Behind her a dark haired boy looked at her retreating figure, smiling a smile that spoke aloud his longing for something that could not be his. He sighed deeply before turning back to his book.

Thankfully, everything between Lily and Tom had turned back to normal, both of them choosing to forget what had elapsed between them in those few moments on the cliff. The entire group spent a truly wondrous day, exploring the nearby caves, about which Tom seemed to have a great insight. He played guide for the day, telling them about the history of the place (though, Lily was quite sure that she was the only one listening, the three couples were too immersed in each other to bother about anyone else.)
“Tom, how do you know so much about this place?!” Lily laughed after he had just finished an hour long tirade of the nobles of Albania who had hidden out in those very caves after a long war.
He looked at her, and seeming to reach a decision he held her by the shoulder pushing her to the back of the cave. He was close to her, close enough to count her dark red eyelashes.
“Alright, Lily, I'm going to tell you, but you've got to promise that you won't tell anybody. If you do, I'm afraid I won't have any other choice but to kill you.” He breathed into her ears, still holding her shoulders in a pivotal grip.
Mesmerized by his eyes, she nodded absently.
“What if I tell you, that I'm a killer who's here to search for a lost heirloom of one of the most famous people in history and that I will do anything, absolutely ANYTHING to rule the world?” Now his voice had a slight insanity to it, he was looking into her eyes as though he was testing her gaze for a response.
Lily smiled weakly. “You're kidding, right?!”
Tom stepped back, pushed his head backwards, beginning to laugh uncontrollably.
“Du-uh! Of course I'm kidding!”
The first emotion Lily felt was relief. Did I really think that he was a murderer? I must be mad! When she recovered, she smacked Tom on his stomach “Whoa! Calm down, fierce one!” he said as he laughingly warded off her blows.
“You stupid git! Moron! I'm going to kill you! What on earth motivated you to do THAT?!” she screamed before following him out of the cave
