Harry Potter and the Prophecy of Two
Disclaimer- I don't own Harry Potter and never will! Well, well, well, this is the final chapter of the Prophecy of Two, and I'm serious this time! Hopefully you have all enjoyed my story and I'm not sure if I will write a sequel, depends on how many reviews I've got for this story and if everyone enjoyed it. If I'm writing a sequel, I think I have a fair idea of what it will be called and what will happen, it just unfolded in my head just now. It was quite strange, seeing the whole plot of Harry Potter and the New Alliances (new title for the sequel) come together in my head without me bidding it to! Ok, please read, and you can criticize flame, cry, and sleep, anything you wish and tell me what you think in a review! You all have been the best reviewers ever! And that means double to the people who reviewed and read my other story as well, which I have written two chapters for, work is keeping me busy!

Chapter Twenty- The Start of a New Dawn
Harry had been out of the Hospital Wing for almost a week. Dumbledore had announced the day Harry had left the Infirmary that the exams would not be taken at the end of the year; not even Hermione could complain. Many people, when Harry passed in the corridors or at Dinner, would nod in thank or would start to clap. These mere actions caused a fury to boil inside him. He didn't want this. He just wanted to help.
There was still no word from Ashir, who left after the battle of Hogwarts with Tyson's body, a brave look in his pained eyes. Hermione and Ron were both alright, having been released before Harry, but didn't leave his side. Dumbledore had not asked Harry to speak with him yet, but Harry was waiting. The day came when the headmaster sent word that he would like Harry's presence in his office that night, and he could bring Ron and Hermione if he wished.
So the three of them began to stroll through the darkening hallways. As Harry passed a window, he couldn't help to glance out over the grounds. He looked at Hagrids rebuilt cabin, smoke silently spilling from the half-giant's chimney. Hagrid's foot was sewn back in place, a thin scar running around his large ankle in memory of his war. The Quidditch Stadium was yet to be replaced, but the rubble was gone, leaving a large bare space of land where it once stood, a large scorch mark signaling its absence. The grounds had been expertly replaced; the green lawns now full of color, hardly any burnt marks remaining. The Whomping Willow was in fairly bad shape. Many of its branches had been severed off where Death Eaters had entered the grounds through the hidden passage between its roots and didn't want to be thumped by its flailing branches.
They had reached the entrance to Dumbledore's office, the stone Gargoyle stood guard.
“In Victory, we Grow Strength” said Harry, having been told the password in his message. As they stepped upon the revolving staircase, Harry thought of the password, thinking it was the first time he'd heard a non-sweet been used. But also finding truth in its words. They knocked and entered when they heard Dumbledore's voice grant them access. The old man himself was seated behind his desk, scrolling through a large pile of parchment in front of him. They took seats, wondering what was to come.
Dumbledore raised his head, and gazed at them with sad, defeated blue eyes. He sighed.
“Voldemort's attack has severely affected our world. Many students, teachers, Aurors and Order Members were lost in the battle last week. But it has made us stronger, as I will keep saying. You, Harry” Harry raised his eyes, “have surprised us all once more, as have you, Hermione, and you, Ron. Your friendship has affected the outcome of this war greatly. Without you two, Harry would not have stood to face the power of Voldemort and would not have been able to find Ashir in time. You three will receive Awards to the School, but unlike any have received before. I know both Harry and Ron have received Awards to Services to the School in your second year, but these will be much greater. You will receive The Award of Unity,” Hermione gasped, Ron and Harry just looked confused.
“The Award of Unity is given when there is a time when a group of friends work together to achieve a common goal that would save lives or the school. You have achieved both of these things, while surviving in the end. No one has made me as proud as I am now. You three remind me so much of James, Sirius and Lupin it is uncanny. Many more lives would have been lost if not for you three,” at that moment there was a swishing sound and green flames leapt form the fire, startling the three friends, but Dumbledore smiled and stood, clapping his hands together.
“Oh good, Ashir, you made it!” Ashir Dire stood in the circular office and a powerful radiance seemed to shine from his raven blue hair and his blue-green eyes. Harry noticed the mans ears, for the first time. They were elongated and pointy, the ears of an Elf. He smiled forcefully and shook Dumbledore's hand before turning to Harry, catching him very unawares, by bowing. Then clasping both Harry's hands in his own, nodding quickly.
“We meet again, Harry Potter.” He said, and then nodded to Ron and Hermione, before swiping a hand and conjuring an emerald green armchair and sitting in it. Ashir's dark blue, tinted green eyes were hollow, noticed Harry. Before hand they had been alive and full of energy, except for a small sign of sadness. But they were still brave and strong, full of hope.
“I have come to a decision, Albus.”
“So you have, Ashir!” Dumbledore answered, sitting back down. Harry and the others' eyes were fixed interestingly on the Elf before them.
“I will fight on the side of the light. I will help Harry fulfill the Prophecy. I owe it to all that were lost. I owe it to my brother.” Dumbledore nodded.
“And of the others?” he asked. Ashir smiled the first true smile Harry had seen before the battle.
“They feel the same as i. They wish to help to defeat the dark and allow light to bloom. They believe the time has come for the Elves to help humans. The immortal to help mortal. Not many of my kind are left, but what are still on this plane will come to your service and will help Harry conquer over Tom Riddle. Abagale will not return. Her power has gone, but her love for me will not fade. By that power to have me, she managed to live on and resurfaced in this time. She went after Harry because of Voldemort and knew that our paths would cross in the future, as she was correct.”
Dumbledore nodded, as did Harry. Ron was looking blankly at the desk; his brain seemed to be working through something. Hermione, however, was staring at Ashir, awe on her face.
“You're an Elf?!” she blurted going slightly pink when Ashir smiled. Hermione had been lying on the ground when Ashir had shown his true form on the night of the Hogwarts Battle, she hadn't known of Ashir's heritage.
“Yes, I am an Elf.” Ashir answered, turning his gaze to Harry and his friends, then onto the table where three plaques and medals had appeared from Dumbledore's drawer. He held one plaque in his hand and read the inscriptions, a large grin appearing on his face.
“The Award of Unity. This is a very high standard award to get. I can not remember the last time this was given. You have made a great decision, Albus!” The elf answered, placing the commemorative inscription back upon the mahogany table and turning his head to the headmaster, who was smiling proudly at the trio of friends.
“You two may return to your Dormitories if you wish, I would like a talk with Harry alone if you don't mind?” they didn't mind, so they stood. With Hermione kissing Harry softly on the cheek, causing his face to blush slightly. Once they had left the office and the door had slid back into place, Dumbledore sighed.
“Your friendship has helped the school greatly. I have to say I'm extremely proud of the way you handled things that day, Harry. In front of Voldemort, I thought you would show fear and possibly nerves. But you showed me wrong. Instead you stood your ground, facing him like your father would have, like the man you are. The power was hard to miss emanating from you, Harry. Not just magic from anger, but from revenge. Voldemort has heart you too many times, and he knew it when you faced him. Even I could see the surprise and fear in his eyes. That night, when he marked you his equal, I don't think he knew what he was getting himself into.
“I believe you have inherited not just your eyes form your mother. Your ability to stand up to your fears comes form Lily, and the way you would sacrifice your own life for another comes form both, Lily and James and even Sirius. They all shown from you that night, the night you faced Voldemort and revealed the boy he has to defeat. I think he will have a hard time trying to get you to fall. I believe after another year of fierce training, and in time, the world will be released form the power of Voldemort and will be free once more.
“Since you inherited a particular home at the beginning of this year, I believe you will be pleased to know that your mother's love has been transferred to its walls, meaning,” Harry drew his breath, “that you will not have to return to your relative's house this year.”
“Are you serious?” Harry said loudly, his hopes rising steadily. A smile crept onto Dumbledore's wizened face, and his head nodded in a silent `yes'. Harry whooped with joy, forgetting for a moment that Grimmauld Place was Sirius's former home and remembering that he was finally leaving the solitary life of being the Dursley's slave and going to be free.
“Of course, we will still have the order meetings, if you don't mind, Harry?” Harry shook his head, a huge grin spread across his face. “Now, I believe you should be getting to bed, I'm sure Ron and Hermione would like to know what I have said, and” he added, picking up the medals, “be sure to deliver these to their rightful owners! The plaques will be placed in the trophy room early tomorrow morning so everyone will be able to see what friendship really means. Goodnight, Harry!” With that, Harry said goodbye to both his headmaster and Ashir, grabbing the medals and stumbling out of the room and down the stairs.
When he entered the common room, he spotted Ron, Hermione and Ginny seated in armchairs around the fire. He stepped to walk towards them but he felt a hand clasp around his wrist. He turned to face Parvarti Patil; her eyes looked red and watery. Lavender was standing behind her a few meters back, her eyes full of sympathy.
“He-hello, Harry. I just want-want to say, thanks for-for being there for me when-when…………” she let out a strangled sob as Harry pulled her into an awkward hug. He knew what she was thanking him for. When Harry had come across Parvarti with her dead sister he had done just what he was doing now, he comforted her. She pulled away, her face red and wet from her sad tears, Harry's shoulder wet. He wiped away a tear that was about to drip from her nose, and smiled sympathetically.
“Its alright, its going to be ok,” she smiled slightly, before being pulled into Lavenders arms, who was smiling at Harry, her own eyes spilling tears of misery. When he seated himself next to Hermione before the fire, he felt terrible. The news of leaving the Dursleys had made him the happiest he'd been since the attack, but Parvarti's tears made his heart drop. So many people had died and suffered because of Voldemort. He felt Hermione's eyes boring into his own. He looked up and smiled sadly. She returned it, leaning into him and kissing his hand which had draped around her shoulders.
“Its ok, Harry,” she said softly gazing into his emerald eyes lovingly. “Although she has lost a sister and apart of herself, she will be ok. It ahs made her believe in what you must do, in what, we all have to do to defeat Voldemort.” At her words, Harry visibly grew calm and peaceful, even Ron seemed to deflate, not even wincing at Voldemort's name. He caught Hermione and Harry's startled gaze and shrugged bravely.
“Now that I've seen Voldemort face to face and even felt his power, I know he's just a man and his name is just a name, after all.” he smiled. Harry had never heard such words form his best friend, such words that were strong, brave and full of truth. Because Ron was right. Voldemort was just a name and he was just a man. Hermione sniffed slightly, Harry looked down to see a few silent tears streak down her cheeks. He was startled.
“Mione, what-?” but she had quickly jumped up and grabbed hold of Ron's arm and dragged him down to the couch next to Harry and wrapped him in a hug. Harry smiled greatly, patting his friend on the shoulder. Ron was slightly red, but returned Hermione's hug none the less. At that moment there was a blinding flash. The three friends looked up to find Colin Creevy with his well known camera clasped in his hands and a small smile on his lips.
“For old times!” he said, before taking the photo slide and placing it on the desk next to him. Then he walked away. Harry stood and walked to the desk. The photo on it was not moving like wizard's photos, but was just normal. Harry grinned and picked up the still photograph of him and two friends. Once he was back on the couch with Hermione and Ron leaning in to have a look at the now formed photo.
“You have to get that one copied, Harry!” said Ron, grinning. Harry nodded. Hermione, however, pulled out her wand. “Twice Facsimile!” she said, a white beam hitting the photo. It glittered for a few moments before splitting into three identical pictures. Harry passed one to Hermione and the other to Ron, who was grinning in awe.
“Thanks, Mione!” he said, staring happily at the photo.
“This one goes straight into my album!” said Harry, finally having a piece of his friends to carry with him everywhere.
“Hey guys, guess what?” Harry said grinning. “What?” they said in unison.
“I get to leave the Dursleys, I get to leave the Dursleys, I get to leave the Dursleys!” he said in a sing song voice. Hermione squealed and kissed him happily on the cheek. Ron grinned.
“That's great, mate! To Grimmauld Place?” he asked in a low whisper. Harry nodded. Nothing could stop the feeling of happiness that was swelling in his chest.

The Leaving Feast was taking place at the moment. Behind the teachers table, where the usual winning house's colors were displayed, were many black drapes, much like the ones used for the feast two years ago when Cedric had died. The people that had survived the fight where spread about the hall, no one was worrying about house tables tonight. Draco Malfoy was sitting alone at the Slytherin Table, Crabbe and Goyle were sitting further away form him with Blaise Zabini and Pansy Parkinson. He was looking pale and clammy. One arm was lightly wrapped in a bandage and a thing, hardly visible scar was running under his chin. His eyes lingered on Harry's for a moment. The usual sneer and hateful gaze didn't come. He merely nodded slightly, and turned his eyes to the table.
Hagrid was sitting in his usual seat. He had been released form the Hospital Wing before Harry. The trio had visited him many times in his cabin. His large, severed foot had been sown back into place; a scar marked where it had been taken. A large grin appeared under his scruffy beard and a huge hand waved down at Harry, who smiled and waved in return. Ashir Dire was sitting in Tyson's seat beside Dumbledore, his gaze turned to the ceiling, and he was back in his human form. Many people were not their usual, fun loving selves that night. Colin Creevy and Dennis were sitting quietly just down from Harry. Ron and Hermione sat on either side of Harry, Ron in a quiet conversation with Dean and Seamus. Hermione was talking to Ginny, who was pale and her eyes were red. Parvarti and Lavender were sitting together, Parvarti clutching a Ravenclaw scarf, tears dropping to the wooden table.
Harry sighed heavily and turned back to the teachers table just as Professor Dumbledore stood, gaining immediate silence from the students and teachers. He smiled sadly, gazing over the grief struck hall.
“Another year has gone, a year like none other. Voldemort has once again struck at our hearts and torn away about of ourselves. Many lives were lost, many families broken,” his eyes lingered on Parvarti Patil, “We will never forget the Battle of Hogwarts as long as we may live and we will never forget the heroes who died fighting. Although we have won the battle, the war is still coming. This is just the start of what is to come. Many more hearts and spirits will be broken before Voldemort is stopped,” his twinkling blue eyes rested on Harry. “But it will only make us stronger. All of you fought, and all of you are heroes. Even those who died fighting, there spirits will live on inside us forever and inside these halls, inside this school. We will remember them as heroes as they helped win with us. Do not forget the ones that died. Do not forget the heroes. Do not forget yourselves!” With that, the hall broke into applause. Many faces were wet with tears, many eyes were red. Although the faces were sad and miserable, they shown with determination. Determination to finish what was started, to finish the Second War.
The plates filled with food, the tables groaned with new weight. Ron's cooped a bit of everything, but didn't stuff his face as usual. He was eating small bits at a time, a smile on his lips. Hermione was nibbling on a piece of bread roll, her eyes resting on Harry, who was playing with his food. Dumbledore's words struck him in a way he couldn't imagine. He now understood what he needed to do, and when. Now was the time to act and fight back. He knew he had to defeat Voldemort, but in his heart, he never registered what it would actually mean. Now it made sense. He may not survive the final confrontation with the Dark Lord. But he knew one thing. He'd take Voldemort down with him.

Their bags were packed, their pets were locked away in their cages and every face was changed. Last year, when they had departed form Hogsmeade Station on the train, only Harry was truly devastated, having lost his godfather. But now, everyone was sad and depressed. The train ride home was quite strange. There were no visits from the Slytherin crowd and no happy laughter drifting down the halls. Everyone was mulling over the years events in their heads. Harry was staring blankly from the window as Rona and Ginny played a silent game of Exploding snap. Hermione was reading a revised edition of Hogwarts: A History, with Crookshanks purring sleepily on her lap.
As the train pulled into Platform Nine and Three Quarters and everyone jumped of the train with their trunks, Harry was pulled aside when he stepped upon the platform. He looked up into the cold eyes of Draco Malfoy. They were not holding anger or hate, but confusion and grief. He was struggling to get the words form his mouth that he wanted to say, so he just said it plainly.
“I'm not sure why you saved me, Potter, but-but, thanks!” he said softly, running a finger along his neck scar self-consciously. Harry smiled slightly.
“No problem, Malfoy, that's what i do!” With that he turned to go but Draco pulled him back. He sighed and held out a hand which was shaking slightly. Harry grinned and shook it, nodding.
“This is just a handshake of understanding, Potter. It's not like we're gonna be-!” But Harry cut him off.
“-friends, but it's just to say thanks, and by the way,” Harry added, “not bad for a half-blood, was it?” Harry said, grinning. Malfoy smiled slightly.
“Not bad at all, Potter!” with that they went their separate ways, Harry to the awaiting Weasley party and Malfoy to his waiting mother.
“How are you, Harry dear?” asked Mrs. Weasley pulling him into a hug.
“I'm fine, Mrs. Weasley!”
“I was so worried when a received an owl from Professor Dumbledore, even though he said you were all alright I was so, so worried!” Harry smiled and let him self be directed through the barrier to muggle Kings Cross. Outside the platform was a small group of people. Remus Lupin was standing between Tonks and Moody. The Grangers were standing of to the side a bit, looking nervous, but happy when Hermione ran up to them.
“How are you, Harry?” asked Lupin, pulling him into a fatherly hug.
“I'm good, Moony, yourself?” he said. Lupin smiled. “I'm great now, Harry!”
“Wotcher, Harry!” greeted Tonks, ruffling his hair with a hand. Her hair was sandy blond a shoulder length today. On leaving, Hermione wrapped Harry in a large, bone crushing hug, which he returned lovingly. They shared a goodbye kiss and parted.
“I'm coming over to stay soon, Harry! Just as soon as I spend some time with my parents! See you later, Harry!” she disappeared into the afternoon sun.
“Yeah mate, we're coming over soon, we just have to get a few things sorted out then we'll be straight there! Catch ya later, mate!” said Ron, stepping back to let his mother hug him followed by Ginny, who kissed him nervously on the cheek. Bill was there also and shook his hand brotherly. They too disappeared to the front of the station leaving Harry and the order members alone.
“Ready to go, Harry?” asked Lupin, placing a hand on his shoulder.
“Sure am!” answered Harry, his mood extremely light. They left through the front doors into the setting sunlight. With Tonks tripping over the sidewalk and Moody examining a small girl closely with his hidden magical eye, Harry was the happiest he could be leaving his only true home with a group of people he could easily call, his `family'.
