2. Chapter One: How It All Started

Author's Note: Thank you to everyone who has reviewed so far! I'm so glad you liked my intro! Here is chapter one for you. There's not a lot of action happening yet cause I'm trying to give you guys a basis for the story and not just suddenly throw you into it. I'm also trying to get you to understand how I'm portraying Hermione's character. I'm trying to keep her as close to the canon as possible but there are some obvious changes made to make her fit what happened in real life. If you have any questions at all, please ask! I'd be happy to answer them. I hope you enjoy this chapter and I will try to write more asap and get more to the action and interaction between Hermione and Harry.
