I don't want to be mad at you!
1. Chapter 1 the fight
Why did you leave?
Dear Ron,
Thanks for your letter! The job is going great, I might want to be a healer when I get out of school! We'll see, for now I'll settle as a candy striper. Yes, that is what they call me, a candy striper, I help the sick kids by reading to them and giving them meals and when I do a good deed I get one stripe on my candy stripers apron! I already have 5. I miss you so very much and I wish that you were here. I bet you miss me, well, I'll be home in about a week! Bye until then!
~Love
~Ginny
“Hey, Harry! Look, Ginny gave me a letter! What's a candy striper? Is it a muggle job?” exclaimed Ron.
“Oh, Ginny's a candy striper? Well that's just smashing! We better go, don't want to be late for breakfast!” said Harry as he quickly rushed out of the door.
“You mean you don't want to miss Hermione's big speech? Well, I wouldn't mind missing it it's about boring SPEW. I can't believe she's still going on with that! Well, lets go!” said Ron as he, too, rushed out of the door.
When they entered the hall they were surprised to see nobody there. Not only was it deserted, it had no tables or chairs or curtains, it was just an empty room!
“Where is everybody?” asked Ron, puzzled.
“I dunno, but I'm getting creeped out!” answered Harry.
“Ron and Harry, Hermione's speech was cancelled. She told me something about how she had important business and ran off immediately! I cleared the great hall so that we can get ready for our midnight ball!” boomed Dumbledore's voice from the other side of the great hall.
“What is a mid-night ball?” asked Harry, totally dumbstruck.
“Honestly, Harry, a midnight ball is a ball they have every millennium!” answered Ron.
“But, Dumbledore, where is everybody? Where are we eating?” asked Ron.
“Everybody started classes, you probably didn't read the bulletin board in the Gryffindor common room!” said Dumbledore, he was seeming a bit sheepish.
“Um, that's weird, we always look at the board! There wasn't anything on it besides Hermione's speech and some other useless junk. I'm suspecting something, didn't Dumbledore seem a BIT weird to you?” asked Harry as they ran to their first class, transfiguration.
They entered and there was nobody there, now there really was something wrong. They turned around and started screaming their heads off!
“Stop, stop, stop! What ARE you two yelling about? Are you crazy? Why aren't you outside listening to my speech?” asked Hermione.
“We, uh, why aren't YOU at your speech?” stuttered Ron.
“Well, there is a break. Yet, I am completely infuriated because they cancelled first class for my silly speech!” huffed Hermione as she stomped her foot.
“Yeah, how is that a bad thing?” asked Ron. Harry nudged him hard in the ribs and told Hermione that they had to be someplace.
They walked away and started thinking that Dumbledore was just probably thinking wrong he is really old. So, they let it all go and missed Hermione's speech so they could do the homework they forgot to do last night. I mean, it is NEWT's year and the teachers are putting so much pressure on the 7th years. Last year all of the 6th years slacked off. They thought that since you don't have any exams in the 6th year it's a relaxation year. They thought it's between to major exams so it'll be cool. Hermione knew the real definition, it was the preparation year, homework and studying. It was the hardest year of all seven years in Hogwarts. So, now they have to study. Harry might even get kicked off the Quidditch team because he has to study extremely hard. Angelina was obviously gone and he was made the captain of the team. He couldn't miss the practices now, so, he would always go to Hermione for help.
“HARRY, RON! YOU WEREN'T AT MY SPEECH! Don't even TALK I know you missed it on purpose I noticed, too. You made me look like a complete fool with no friends who is talking about a useless subject who nobody cares about!” roared Hermione.
“Oh, we don't need to help you for that” mumbled Ron.
“What did you say, Ronald?” whispered Hermione in a low, vicious, and mysterious tone.
“Nothing” he mumbled again.
“I WAS CALLING FOR YOU SO YOU COULD SHOW MY BADGES, BUT YOU NEVER CAME! I KEPT CALLING AND PEOPLE LAUGHED!” screamed Hermione at the top of her lungs. Everybody in the common room was staring at them. She quickly summoned a blue flyer and put it on the board. Ron and Harry instantly rushed to it.
