Firstly, thank you so much for the feedback and encouragement. As a relative newbie to this fandom, I appreciate it more than I can say. Also, many thanks to Lissanne for her wonderful beta work.
Secondly, one thing about Chapter Two. It is a flashback chapter, and takes place two years earlier than Chapter One. It may raise more questions than it answers, but I promise that I will answer every question by the end of the story.
