A/N: You guys are just full of all kinds of questions of late…I find it slightly humorous that you all want to know the answers to little plot nuances like the great Naming Debate… well we will find out in this chapter…and THANK YOU so much for all of your reviews, they make the story worth writing. Some material is not for innocent eyes or imaginations! You have been warned! Now that I have fulfilled my moral obligation, you may continue. Oh yes and this chapter is a bit more serious than any others, but I will still try to inject humor in the appropriate places!!

Prologue Part II

Part Four: The Great Name Debate

It had been two weeks since Draco and Harry became proper men again. Draco was sitting in the sitting room of the large flat, he now shared with Ginny; they had moved in just after graduation, holding his son on his lap and thinking. He was thinking most specifically about the Naming Ceremony and trying to discover why Ginny had done what she had done. He certainly hadn't been consulted on the matter. But the more he thought about it, the less it bothered him, however, he had to ask her why she had done it.

“Ginny, love, could you come here a second?” called Draco.

Draco didn't hear a reply, but he did hear the footsteps of her approach, “Yes?”

“I have been thinking…” he paused making sure that his voice did not carry any malice or anger, “why did you make the baby a Weasley?”

Ginny paused. She hadn't been expecting that question. She had thought that the answer was obvious, but apparently she was wrong. “ Well, we talked so much about you not wanting to be held back by the Malfoy name and all the destruction and devastation that is attached to it that I thought it would be a nice thing to do for our son. But if you detest it or abhor it we can change his name.” She paused again, “I also thought that….well, I guess it is a bit premature to be thinking of these things considering….”

Draco was touched by her response, “ I can't believe that you did that with out asking me though,” he stated calmly, “I just thought that we would at least discuss something like that with me. Did you and Hermione just do this on your own?”

Ginny put her hands on her hips in a defensive stance, “Well you do know Draco that it is the tradition. In our case the roles were reversed, so, I didn't feel it was necessary to consult you over the finer details!”

Draco picked up his son and walked him over to the baby swing that sat in the corner and cast a silencing charm over the infant so he couldn't hear his parents squabble. “ Ginerva Weasley, I really appreciate your sentiment, but I do not appreciate being left out of the fold when making these grand decisions pertaining to our child. It was a shock to say the bloody least! I looked a damned fool out there.” He had had two weeks to brood over this, and now all Hades was about to erupt in the center of their sitting room.

“ THE WHOLE BLOODY POINT OF GIVING HIM MY LAST NAME WAS TO SAVE YOU FROM LOOKING LIKE A BLOODY FOOL!” she shouted.

“WELL…YOU…I…IT…THE POINT IS…GINNY WILL YOU MARRY ME?”

“Of all of the arguments you could have used….WHAT?” Ginny was definitely caught off guard.

Draco dropped down to one knee and grabbed Ginny's hand. “ I can't believe that I had such good fortune as to find a woman like you who would do what you did for me…for our son. I wanted to ask you sooner, but couldn't bring myself to do it while I was pregnant…but will you marry me Ginny? I adore you and love you more than I could any other woman.”

“Yes.”

Draco stood up and wrapped Ginny in a passionate embrace. He lowered his lips to hers and his tongue begged for entrance into her mouth. His tongue gently massaging hers and then tongues battling for dominance in an intimate dance that sent chills down their spines. There was nothing else in the room save each other. Time had stood still with that kiss. Ginny broke from the kiss and snapped her fingers three times. “Nanny!” she called and a pink house elf with violet eyes appeared in the room and scooped the baby up in her arms averting her eyes from the master and mistress of the house with out saying a word.

Draco's body leaned forward on Ginny's frame, his weight causing her to move back until she felt the edge of the couch against her knees. Ginny positioned herself on the couch so she was lying down and she gently pulled Draco on top of her. Draco's kisses were soft yet penetrating. He was going to savor every moment of this encounter. This woman was going to be his wife…forever. “I love you Ginerva Weasley.” Ginny blushed, “And I you, Draco…”

Draco's hands were roaming all over Ginny's body. Ginny was arching into his touch and claiming her lips with his own. Her hand started to trail down his chest when they were interrupted by the cries of young William… “Well the child does have perfect timing. Let me just cancel that monitoring charm…” and with a flick of her wand, Ginny removed the sounds of the crying infant from the room, “Now, where were we, love?”

Draco lowered his head to her neck and started kissing his way down her body, “I think we were right here…”

Again the couple was interrupted, “Draco! Why the bloody hell am I getting wet?”

“Because you are engaged to a sex god!” he replied smoothly.

“No! My shirt is soaked. What..” she paused as Draco looked down.

“Bloody Hell! Of all the times…” he giggled, “Well I guess that is nature's way of ensuring that William remains an only child for some time.”

“So does this mean…”

“Sorry, love. Maybe later. I need to change…” Draco stopped talking and kissed Ginny on her forehead. He was disappointed, but he wanted things to be perfect. And perfection did not include the appearance of breast milk in the middle of a very intimate moment.

“Bugger!” whined Ginny.

Their activities for the evening may have been put on hold, but Ginny was beaming. It was official, she was going to become Mrs. Draco Malfoy…or Mrs. Draco Weasley if she had her way. She really couldn't bear the thought of having that name. But then again, it didn't really matter, as long as she had Draco.

Part Five: Harry's Plans

Harry and Hermione had moved into the flat across from Draco and Ginny's flat. He was still amazed he had willingly moved in across the hall from Draco Malfoy. It was also surprising that Ron had agreed to live in the same building with the bloke who was getting the proverbial milk for free from his little sister. Alas things were going well. No brawls had broken out since moving in and Harry prayed to Merlin that things would remain that way.

Harry had sent Hermione out with James for the day. He claimed he needed some alone time. Hermione, being as caring and thoughtful as always, obliged with out question and decided that a visit with her parents was in order. Her parents were still utterly confused about the situation and they honestly believed that Hermione had actually given birth to James. There was no convincing them otherwise so she just let it go. Harry had spent the day turning the flat into a romantic hide away meant just for the two of them. He had arranged for Dobby to take James, Ron had a date so he couldn't fulfill his god fatherly duties, and he knew better than to ask Draco and Ginny, Nanny had already been over to warn him. He was glad he didn't walk in on one of their kinky love making sessions. He had heard Draco was some kind of sex god, but he would just take other people's word for it. Concrete proof was not something he needed in that situation.

Harry had put satin sheets on the large four poster bed in the bedroom that were the color of blood. He littered white rose petals on the sheets and he enchanted candles to float in the air all over the room. The next step was to transfigure the regular bathtub into one that rivaled the large bathtubs in the prefect's bathrooms at Hogwarts. He added some rose petals and lavender to the water and cast and enchantment to keep the water warm. He took a step back and surveyed the room and with a second thought he added more enchanted candles. He loved the way Hermione looked bathed in candle-light.

Hermione came in the door with a very fussy James just as he cast the final warming charm over the dinner laid out on the small dining room table.

“Hello, love, how are you parents? How was the visit?” he asked while kissing her on the cheek and taking the baby from her arms and much to Hermione's annoyance the baby stopped fussing straight away.

“Bloody awful! My father wants to come over here and castrate you. My mum lifted up my shirt looking for stretch marks and went even so far as to reach for my breast so she could squeeze it to see if milk would come out! They honestly just cannot comprehend that I am his mum, but I didn't give birth to him”

“Muggles!” mused Harry, “Listen love, I have big plans for us tonight. So I am going to have Dobby watch James in the nursery and we are going to have an enchanted evening.”

“Harry we are wizards, every evening is enchanted!” she teased.

“This is what I get for falling in love with a know it all. I am now unable to woo you properly because you are too smart for it.” He stopped talking and captured her mouth in a kiss before Hermione could answer him. As he was kissing her, he decided that dinner would stay warm with the charms…the water in the tub on the other hand wouldn't keep as long. Harry grabbed Hermione gently by the hand and led her into the bathroom.

“Oh, Harry! I can't believe you went to all this trouble…”

Harry cut her off by placing two fingers to her lips, “Shh…just relax. I love you.” Harry moved so he was behind Hermione and placed his arms around her waist as he kissed his way to her neck. Hermione could feel his hands rushing down her body as his nimble fingers released on button at a time…excruciatingly slowly with his hands brushing the newly exposed flesh just enough to pique her arousal. Once all the buttons were unfastened he tossed the offending garment off to the side. “You are beautiful Hermione,” whispered Harry as his hands found their way to the zipper of Hermione's skirt, pulling it down and allowing it to pool at her feet. Harry let his hands wander all over Hermione's body feeling the warmth of her smooth skin under his hands. He wanted to memorize every curve of the body in front of him.

Hermione turned in his arms so she was facing him and pulled his body close to hers. She was far to impatient to remove his clothes the Muggle way, so she showed off, and used wandless magic. “Now, I would say that this is much better,” both of them were standing across from each other wearing only smiles of appreciation for what each one saw in front of them.

Harry didn't say a word. He lifted Hermione up as though he were about to carry her over a threshold and gently placed her in the warm water. Harry slid in behind her in the tub and started to kiss her gently. “Harry, love, what has gotten into you?”

“What do you mean?” he asked planting another kiss on her neck.

“This night. I mean you are definitely romantic, but you never do things like this.”

“Well…erm…I do have an ulterior motive.”

“Really?”

“Well of course there is the idea of making love to my beautiful girlfriend.” He said as he kissed cheek and let his hands trail over her body, “and then I had this grand idea to ask my beautiful girlfriend a very important question. But now that I have thought better of it I guess maybe it should wait for another day,” teased Harry.

Hermione tried her best to sound absolutely dejected as she started to get up from the tub, “You do know Harry that it would really put a damper on this evening if you were to cower away from doing something as silly as asking me a question”.

“Well then in that case, we had better get out of this tub. I don't fancy asking beautiful women important questions whilst naked and vulnerable”.

With a few flicks and swishes of wands and hushed incantations Harry and Hermione were dressed and seated at the table which was set for an intimate dinner for two.

“Well Harry, what were you going to ask me?”

“Nothing important, really…” he teased, “and besides it isn't like you haven't a clue. You aren't the cleverest witch of our age for nothing!”

“So..”

“Take the bloody romance out of everything!” he said in a sarcastic voice as he walked over to her and pulled her up by her hands leading her over to the love seat situated in front of the blazing fire. Harry removed a ring from his pocket, an emerald cut diamond flanked by a small emerald on either side. He took her left hand in his hand and slipped the ring over the top of her finger. “Hermione, you are the most important person in my life, aside from James of course,” he smiled looking into her brilliant chocolate eyes, “and I can't imagine waking up without you beside me, or coming home to a place where I can't find your scattered parchment, broken quills, and endless array of books. I can't see my future without you in it, would you consider having a future where I was a permanent fixture?”

Hermione smiled and gave him a coy look. “You were awful sure I would say `yes', Harry”, with a tinge of hesitation in her voice. The tone made Harry flinch a little and that made Hermione grin, I still have it! “Oh don't look so worried, Harry. I want nothing more to have you in my future permanently!”

Harry slipped the ring onto her finger and kissed her hand. They never did eat their romantic meal that night. Instead they made use of the four poster bed dressed in satin sheets….

(A/N: I don't want it to be NC-17 and everything I wrote sounded cheesy so I trust you can lead your imagination to the gutter on your own….)

Part Six: Ron's Secret

The next morning, Harry and Hermione wanted to rush to tell Ron the good news and ask if he would mind terribly if he would take James the following weekend so they could make arrangements for the wedding.

“Ron!” yelled Harry at the closed door, “would you hurry up and answer the bloody door before I send Dobby in there to open it!”

As Harry was pounding on the door, Draco and Ginny arrived with William in tow. “This is the third time we have been down here this morning,” commented Ginny, “he must have had a wild night.”

No one had a chance to respond to Ginny's comment, just as Harry was about to respond to her the door to Ron's flat swung open.

“Hullo!” said a voice from the doorway that definitely did not belong to Ron. And upon further examination it was apparent that Neville was not properly dressed to be a normal visitor to the flat.

Draco's jaw dropped open. He found himself in a state of shock. “Erm..um…he..hello Neville!”

Then Ron's voice could be heard calling from another room of the flat, “Who is at the door love?”

Neville blushed and didn't respond. This lack of response caused Ron to come to the door, wand drawn and ready for a fight. When he saw the group congregated in his foyer, his jaw dropped, and his wand fell to the floor with a dull clank. “Harry, Hermione, Ginny, Draco!…I…I…Neville…well….” Ron couldn't have made a complete sentence at that moment to save his life. “Well you see, Neville and I we…just….well what I mean to say is, is that we are together!”

There was silence from all parties in the room for at least five minutes before William began to cry loudly. Draco left the room, glad for once that he had a baby who suffered from colic, barely suppressing his shock as he quietly shut the door behind him.

“Ron,” started Harry, “how long have you been seeing him?”

“Well, we aren't really officially together, but we have been dating since graduation.”

Hermione had to put her two cents worth in, “Ronald I am ashamed of you! How could you keep something like that from us?”

“ I thought that you would, I don't know…I thought you wouldn't talk to me anymore.”

Ginny put her hands on her hips, “Of all the stupid things you could come up with Ronald.” Ron cringed, his sister sounded remarkably like his mother, and then she turned toward Neville and embraced the blushing young man in a spine-crushing hug.

“Now all I have to worry about is how to tell Mum and Dad!” exclaimed Ron. Ron was also glad that Draco wasn't in the room at that moment, because he didn't know if he would be able to restrain himself from killing him due to his loud mouth!

Neville didn't say anything. He just stood with a perpetual blush on his cheeks noting the grain of the hardwood floor. He had never realized the grain could be so interesting.

A/N: Ok, I am now officially stuck for now. So I know this is a bit short and a bit more serious than I usually write, but, sometimes it happens that way. Next update there will be wedding bells and a special announcement from one of our favorite characters.

Remember, reviews keep the muses happy!
