A few months after returning from the past, the second-generation trio is off on another adventure, this time nineteen years into the future. At seventeen, they look at the future with bright hopes and optimism. But when the future becomes the present, they find that life didn't turn out like they hoped. It's full of fighting, deceit, divorce, and pain. Soon the trio looks to the future with the dread of what they will become.
