A Life Worth Choosing

Prologue

Malfoy,
Here are the supplies and money you have requested. The search has begun, but I was able to steer them West away from you. If you need anything at all, just send an Owl. Don't worry about them being intercepted, Hermione has invented a spell that allows for only the intended wizard to read. Make its easier for the Order to send message, since Voldemort has discovered how to intercept our Patronuses.
Best of Luck,
Potter

Malfoy,
Your father is becoming suspicious of the Galleons disappearing from the vault. I hope your plan works, because you need to find a new way to support yourself. I will be sending you the money that was promised in the deal, but it is only a little at a time. I urge you to stay away from any wizarding communities. The Ministry has sent your picture out to every wizarding nation, so be cautious.

Draco Malfoy,
If this letter gets to you, I'm assuming your plan has worked and I urge you to stay where you are. The war is far from over, and I'm afraid the Death Eaters are gaining on us. The Ministry's Army are dropping like flies and most of the Order are now in secret locations, trying to heal the injuries inflicted upon them by the Dark Side.
The Ministry still believes you to be working for him, and have not halted their search. They believe that your father is protecting you and some have even gone so far as saying that you have killed your father and are using Polyjuice Potion to portray him.
On the other hand, we have learned valuable information about Voldemort that will hopefully bring an end to this war. Unfortunately, the Death Eaters are convinced that the information came from you.
Here are more supplies, and please do not respond to this letter. I will write again when I feel it is safe.

Draco,
The war is getting worse. Voldemort is too powerful and his numbers too vast. Even I have taken to hiding in order to gather my strength. A huge battle yesterday took down nearly half of the Forbidden Forest. The Dark Side now has control of not only the giants, werewolves, and dementors, but the goblins, and vampires as well.
The information you have provided has been a great help, but it's still not enough. If you can think of anything else, please let me know.

Draco,
The war is finally turning; our plan has worked. We have converted the centaurs to our side from their neutral position and the goblins back to our side from the dark side. We have also begun drafting the house-elves. The Order is finally strong enough to return to battle at full force.
It should only be a matter of time before this war is over, and both of us can return to our normal lives.

Draco,
The war at last is over! We were finally able to defeat Bellatrix which brought Voldemort out into the open. It took three non-stop days of fighting, but we were able to bring him down.
The Ministry is now back in full force, trying to rebuild the government and to bring Death Eaters to justice. I've included the list of the Most Wanted Death Eaters. I thought it to be of interest to you.
Your friend,
Harry

Draco,
Happy Christmas. I hope this gift I present to you will put you into the Christmas spirit. You deserve it.

Draco Malfoy Declared Innocent!
Draco Malfoy, 25, son of known Death Eater Lucius Malfoy, was declared innocent by the Wizengamot late yesterday afternoon. Malfoy, who disappeared about seven years ago, was thought to be one of the most notorious Death Eaters during the second war, following in his father's footsteps.
Malfoy was wanted on accusations for assisting in the death of Hogwarts' Headmaster Albus Dumbledore, association with the werewolf Fenir Greyback, charges of being a known Death Eater, and many more in which the Aurors' office refused to release.
All charges were dropped, however, after Narcissa Malfoy, mother of Draco Malfoy, had applied for an appeal against his impending arrest. Mrs. Malfoy won her case with the assistance of the war hero, now head of the Aurors' office, Harry Potter, who was able to convince the Wizengamot that Malfoy was indeed a spy and had aided in the battle planning which ended on May 05, 2003.
Draco Malfoy is still missing and a reward is being offered by Narcissa Malfoy for any information about his whereabouts.
The Aurors' Office has also issued a reward for any information leading to the capture of Lucius Malfoy who...

Drae,
He's finally been captured! I was up all night raiding the Muggle hotel where he was staying and I'm tired as all hell, but I couldn't sleep until I sent you word. Lucius has finally been captured. His trial doesn't start for another three weeks, but there is no doubt that he will be convicted and he is looking at eighty to one hundred sixty-five years in Azkaban.
Now that your father and all Death Eaters that were of danger to you have been locked up and your name is clear, it is safe for you to return home. Your mother is desperate to see you as are a few others. Your manor and your estate have been fully turned back over to you and your mother and she is moving back in first thing this morning.
I would be more than happy to assist you with any arrangement you may need. Just let me know.
Congratulations,
Harry
