Draco looked around the ruins of his once beautiful home. The results of the battle were intense, but Draco had been on the winning side and for that he was grateful. He had turned out like Severus Snape and become a traitor to the dark lord.
The dark lord had not found out about this until it was too late, but Draco's family had been ripped at the seams. Draco loved his father to death, but he wasn't ever good enough.
Hey dad look at me
Think back and talk to me
Did I grow up according to plan?
Do you think I'm wasting my time
Doing things I wanna do?
'Cuz it hurts when you disapprove all along
And now I try hard to make it
I just want to make you proud
I'm never gonna be good enough for you
I can't pretend that I'm all right
and you can't change me
'Cuz we lost it all
Nothing last for ever
I'm sorry I can't be perfect
Now it's just too late and we can't go back
I'm sorry I can't be perfect
I try not to think
About the pain I feel inside
Did you know you used to be my hero?
All the days you spent with me
Now seem so far away
And it feels like you don't care anymore
And now I try hard to make it
I just want to make you proud
I'm never gonna be good enough for you
I can't stand another fight
And nothing's alright
'Cuz we lost it all
Nothing last for ever
I'm sorry I can't be perfect
Now it's just too late and we can't go back
I'm sorry I can't be perfect
Nothing's gonna change the things that you said
Nothing's gonna make this right again
Please don't turn your back
I can't believe it's hard just to talk to you
'Cuz you don't understand
'Cuz we lost it all
Nothing last for ever
I'm sorry I can't be perfect
Now it's just too late and we can't go back
I'm sorry I can't be perfect
"I'm sorry I can't be perfect," Draco said to himself.
Draco had always been inferior to even the lowest of low. He had been beaten and abused, but now he was superior to his father. Draco had admitted that he was wrong and, in turn, gained some new, wonderful friends.
"Draco! Are you okay?" Ginny asked sympathetically.
"Fine. My dad just got the dementor's kiss, my mom disowned me, my house is ruined and I have nowhere to go, but I am fine," Draco said sarcastically.
"I know that it may seem like you've lost something, but you really gained more than you lost," she said.
"Ginny, we have been friends for a couple of months now, but I want us to be more. Will you be my girlfriend?" Draco asked.
He wasn't used to putting himself out on a limb like this. The girls usually came to him, but Ginny was worth it. She was different from the rest of the Weasleys. Her personality was that of a wilder side of her family. She was the chaos in her family since Fred and George had left the house.
"Oh, Draco, I thought that you would never ask!" Ginny said, leaping into his arms.

"Where on earth is he going to stay?" Molly asked.
"He could stay with us, couldn't he Ron?" Harry asked.
Ron looked at Harry with malicious eyes.
"Sure, no problem," Ron said reluctantly.
"Oh, you boys are so sweet! I'll go and tell him right away!"
And with that, Molly was gone with a quick pop.
"What do mean he can stay with us?!" Ron said furiously.
"Well, what else was I supposed to do? 'Sorry, Molly, but we just can't. We got his family to disown him and everything, but Ron doesn't like him.' Do you know how childish that is? Ron, you just need to get over it, besides, I think he likes your sister," Harry said.
"That gives me one more reason to hate him," Ron said.

"Mum, can I talk to you in private a moment?" Ginny asked uncertainly.
They walked away from Draco and Ginny tried to hide her concern.
"Mum, are you sure this is okay, because Ron already doesn't like Draco and now that we are dating, he isn't going to be very happy with him at all. What if they kill each other?" Ginny asked.
"You are dating Draco Malfoy?!" Molly asked.
"Oops."
