Harry Potter and the Fulfillment of the Prophecy

Disclaimer/Author's Note- I don't own Harry Potter and never will! Okay everyone! This is the sequel to my sixth year Fic, Harry Potter and the Prophecy of Light and Dark! It was going to be called Harry Potter and the Second War but I thought this title was better.

You don't necessarily need to read my other story to know what's happening in this one, as the plot is completely different to my other one. It is Harry/Hermione, Ron/Luna pairings, and anymore I decide to makeup.

Summery: Harry Potter and the Prophecy of Light and Dark- Harry returns to Hogwarts with unexpected changes. Sirius has returned from behind the veil and Harry discovers hidden feelings for one bushy-haired Gryffindor. Draco Malfoy has made a change for the good, now fighting for the light side instead of the dark. Voldemort attacks fiercely at Hogwarts. When the siege is over many are lost. But it only makes them stronger for the Second War.

I've gone through and re-written all these chapters. As the old ones were pretty crap and I hadn't updated for ages. People have been reviewing and asking me to write more and that is what has made me update and fix everything. I wasn't going to keep writing this Fic, but now i am!

Chapter One- The Best Summer

The sun was bright and cheerful. Its beams fell down upon the many tiled rooftops of London. They fell on the street called Grimmauld Place and illuminated the shadowed alleys and moldy walls. It shone upon number Eleven then onto number Thirteen, totally missing the hidden house in between. This house was the home of an assortment of people; these people were very strange indeed. The door was bolted many times from the inside, ending in a large padlock that covered about thirty square centimeters all together. All the floorboards had been ripped up, showing the disgusting green fungus growing underneath. There was a large chunk of wall missing from beside an ancient set of stairs, were an old painting used to hang. It was now in a large junk pile in the Living Room. The walls were stripped of wallpaper and the smell of paint filled the air.

Many people were running around, covered in an assortment of different colored paints or wearing a gas mask clamped over their mouths. These people all carried skinny sticks of wood as did a black haired boy, brandishing a paintbrush in one hand and a tin of paint in the other. He had the same sort of stick sticking out of his belt. His name was Harry Potter, and at the moment, he was the happiest he'd ever been. All the occupants of Number Twelve Grimmauld Place were wizards, that is why they all carried wands. At this moment the boy called Harry Potter was having a very heated paint fight with a bushy-haired called Hermione Granger and a sleek, blond haired boy called Draco Malfoy.

Harry flung a great blob of red paint at Draco Malfoy, getting him on the side of the head. “I'm gonna get you for that one, Potter!” he snarled, dipping his hand into his own paint tin and slapping a great blob of yellow paint back at Harry, who ducked. The yellow paint hit Hermione Granger smack on her forehead.

“DRACO MALFOY!” she shouted, wiping paint from her eyes. Both boys laughed. Harry ducked again, just missing a large splash of red. Draco also ducked. They heard a great, strangled yell. They turned to see a middle-aged man with shoulder length black hair spluttering, red paint having entered his mouth. This man was Sirius Black and he was Harry's godfather.

“What in the name of-?” he yelled, spitting out the rest of the paint onto the sheeted floor. He stared around at the paint splotched walls in horror, and then his face cracked open in a large grin. “This is great!” he yelled, slopping his hand into the tin of yellow swinging from Draco's hand and throwing it at the wall. The others laughed and followed his lead, ending up in another, very fierce paint fight. The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black was being remodeled. The Weasley's were now practically living there, since their home was deemed unsafe. Hermione had come just a week after school had ended and was staying until they went back. This pleased Harry immensely, as they were still together from the start of the previous year. Luna Lovegood stopped by occasionally, since her father had joined the Order. Ron went red every time someone mentioned her; they were still going out also.

Draco thought they were the perfect couple; both strange in the head. When the Slytherin had voiced these thoughts aloud, Harry and Sirius had to hold Ron back together to stop him knocking Draco out with the saucepan he had been washing up. Remus Lupin was living there as well. He had his own room on the third floor, with a built in solid wood door, which was around four-inches thick. This was to help with his monthly transformations. Severus Snape stopped by once and a while to give Lupin the Wolfbane Potion or to tell Sirius something that he didn't let anyone else to hear.

Ron was now of age in the Magical World, having turned seventeen in May. Draco had turned Seventeen the previous month, so he boasted about it on a regular basis. It would be Harry's birthday in a couple of weeks, followed by Hermione's which was on the nineteenth of September. Also, since they were all turning of age before going back to Hogwarts except Hermione, Mr. Weasley and Sirius were going to take them to the Ministry to get their apparation License. Having pulled a few strings at the Ministry, Arthur had arranged for Hermione to take the test with the others; her exceptional Hogwarts marks had made a difference in the decision more so than Mr Weasley's connections; Hermione was thrilled about this. She was always talking about how hard it was to pass and how interesting it would be to see someone get splinched. Just the thought of leaving a few of your body parts behind while the rest of you is in another place freaked Harry out.

He was very excited about his birthday as it would be his first while in the company of his friends and godfather. And he was also very excited about finally being able to do magic outside of school without being sent a letter by the Ministry of Magic. This year was the year they would be taking their NEWTs, which got Hermione so worked up that she made study timetables for them all, including Draco.

“This is our final year and the NEWTs will decide whether we graduate from Hogwarts or not!” she had said handing the timetables to them. Ron rolled his eyes at this statement and Draco looked curiously at Hermione and hissed into Harry's ear, “Is she always like this?” Harry nodded and grinned, kissing his girlfriend on the cheek.

They received their Hogwarts letters on the day before Harry's birthday, so they decided to go to Diagon Alley the following day. Sirius and Tonks, a young Auror, decided to take them to get their school things. They left the house at around ten, caught a muggle town bus a few blocks away to an old dingy bar; The Leaky Cauldron. Harry helped Tonks with the bus money then followed the others into the small shop which was invisible to passing muggles. They went straight through to the back door, passing into a small courtyard which was hardly big enough to hold the seven witches and wizards and three trash cans. Sirius tapped the appropriate bricks above one bin and stood back a fraction to allow the secret doorway to the magical world to open.

They had been shopping all day. Stopping at noon to have a large delicious lunch and ice cream, then moving off to travel back to Grimmauld Place before the sun went down. They jumped off the bus just a bit passed three with all their packages and parcels. When they entered the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black, everything was dark and shadowy. No lights were on at all. When Harry tried to light a lantern it didn't work. Draco volunteered to lug all their parcels up to the rooms and insisted on Harry to help him. When they finally moved back downstairs everything was still dark and Harry was getting a strange feeling in his stomach. What if this was a Death Eater attack? He was just about to pull out his wand when all the lights flicked on.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY HARRY!” Everyone shouted, throwing streamers over him and cheering. Harry couldn't stop grinning. Sirius was handing out party hats; he had his own black and white spotted hat placed on his head. He clamped one onto Harry's, over his messy black hair. It was green and blue. Draco grinned and shook his hand while Ron patted him on the back in a brotherly fashion. Hermione hugged him tightly and gave him a large, passionate birthday kiss. When they pulled away Harry felt his face burn. Everyone cheered and patted him on the back. Molly Weasley pushed forward and wrapped him in a huge hug that only a mother could give. When she pulled away, tears were welling in her eyes, an old, black camera clutched tightly in one hand.

“You are all getting so big!” she sniffed, before Sirius put an arm around her and directed her away, Harry hearing, “Don't worry, Molly, he'll be just like James!” then Mrs. Weasley sniff, “that's what I'm afraid of!” There were many people throughout the house that had been invited to Harry's party. Luna and Neville had come with their families, or in Neville's case his grandmother wearing a very high stuffed vulture perched on an ugly hat. All the order members and teachers were there, including Hagrid and Madam Hooch. Snape was even there. Lupin smiled and hugged Harry tightly when they finally met.

“Your father would be proud!” he had said softly into Harry's ear. Harry nodded, then was ushered onto another person. All in all it turned out to be a very good night. At around five they where pushed into the kitchen for a small early dinner. Hermione and Ginny brought out an extremely large, red and gold iced cake, with hundreds of lit candles scattered over the top.

“Blow them out and make a wish, Harry!” many people shouted. Harry grinned and blew out the candles, wishing it would stay like this forever. Then everyone began to sing Happy Birthday. Fred and George were even doing a dance for it. All the Weasley's had turned up, not including Percy. Mrs. Weasley handed him a large, sharp knife.

“Be careful, Harry dear, it's very sharp!” she had warned. “If you touch the bottom you have to kiss the nearest girl!” Shouted Sirius, grabbing Hermione and pushing her forwards as Harry slid the knife into the rich chocolate cake. Hermione giggled as Harry pulled her into another kiss, only ending when Mrs. Weasley hit him over the head with a paper plate.

“Save it for later, the guests are getting hungry!” she said.

Everyone just lazed around the house. The new floorboards had been put in finally a few days before and the walls were almost finished. The paint splotched walls where the paint fight had taken place were still there, Sirius said it was like old times; this confused Harry and the others. At around eight everyone ordered Harry to open his presents which were sitting in a corner on a large coffee table. The pile reached almost to the high ceiling; Harry had never seen so many gifts before in his life. Hermione took a small, silver wrapped parcel and handed it to him. She smiled cutely.

“You have to open mine first.” Harry grinned and began to unwrap the rectangular box. He lifted the lid and shoved away the tissue paper inside. He gasped and pulled out a small, silver dagger. Runes ran up the hilt, as did a vine which was engraved into the blade. Harry swished it through the air, awing at how light it was, but how sharp and solid the blade actually was. He rounded on Hermione. She just grinned.

“I thought you'd might like some extra protection if you loose your wand when you get in another adventure this year!” Harry grinned and kissed her in thanks, placing the dagger back in the box and handing it to Ron, who was practically bouncing in the excitement of getting to hold the small sword. “Open mine now, Harry!” shouted Ron, flicking the knife through the air. Harry was pushed a roughly wrapped parcel which Harry had swore he'd seen Ron shoving into his bag outside the bookshop. Sure enough, when Harry ripped away the paper there was a book.

`Talented Youths of Quidditch!' read the title. Harry flicked it open to hear Ron say, “Turn to page fifteen, Harry!” Harry did as he was told and almost dropped the book in surprise. Taking up the whole of page fifteen was a diving Harry and his Firebolt. On the opposite page was a full explanation on Harry's life and all his Quidditch Game outcomes. The heading that spread across these two pages was, `The Boy who Lived- The Boy who can Fly!' Harry shook his head, scanning through the information on him. Many people were leaning over his shoulder to look at what he was reading. They began to laugh at the expression on Harry's face when he shut the book. He was shaking his head, a smile struggling to surface. He thanked Ron and said, “Very Funny”

All in all, Harry thought he'd done quite well. He'd received many more books after Ron's, and another small knife from Remus Lupin, saying he'd got the idea from Hermione. He had received a pair of Quidditch Gloves from Ginny, a subscription to the Quibbler for a year from Luna, a Wand Holster from Moody, a large pack of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes from Fred and George. Sirius hadn't given him anything as yet. Draco had surprised them all by giving him a large heavy book on Dark Arts, including spells and fighting techniques that could strip every layer of skin from your opponents body. He was just standing in the background, grinning madly. The party slowly dispensed at around eleven. Everyone wished him a happy birthday and to enjoy the next school year. Neville and Luna would be staying the night, as would Tonks, Fred and George, saying they had to get to work early in the morning and it was closer from Grimmauld Place. Ginny and Luna went upstairs to bed, Ron going red when Luna kissed him on the cheek. Neville was asleep on the lounge, his head lolling to the side, snores erupting from his mouth randomly. Sirius made his way over to Harry, still grinning like a Cheshire cat. He pulled something out of his pocket which jingled.

“Here,” he said throwing the keys onto Harry's lap. He looked up at Sirius curiously. Lupin was smiling from the side. Sirius ushered him to follow as he left the room. Hermione and Ron looked after him, then finally followed Harry up and out after the strange godfather. Lupin followed from behind, humming softly.

“Hey, where you going?” yelled Tonks from the other end of the hall. She ran after them, skipping alongside Lupin. They had never been down here before, not even on their cleaning expeditions. Sirius led them down a darkened hall and then opened a door at the far end. He told them to hurry up. He lit a lantern with his wand and moved out of their way. They seemed to be in a large, two-door garage. There were many trash tins and wheels from cars and bikes. He walked into the middle, where there was a large, sheeted object. Sirius grinned at Harry whose face was lighting up. He gave one great yank on the oily sheet, and revealed the most magnificent thing Harry had ever seen. It was a huge, black and silver motorbike. The words: Harley Davidson was printed on a fuel tank in black. It looked brand new. Harry just gaped openly at the grand specimen of a bike. He rattled the keys in his hand and looked up at Sirius with large, emerald eyes. Sirius just laughed.

“Yep, it's all yours!” Ron whooped from behind him and rushed forwards to stroke the rubber gripped handles. Harry could not believe this.

“Mi-mine?” he stuttered moving forwards with Ron to feel the authenticity of it. His hand ran over the shiny hard metal, and his finger outlined the engraved words. Sirius laughed heartily.

“You should see the look on your face, Harry! It would be the exact same as James's! I won't have much use for it these days, with the order always hassling me for some reason. But, of course I'd use it when you're at school this year, if you don't mind, that is?” Harry shook his head wordlessly. It was his! Then something clicked in his head.

“I had a dream about a flying motorbike once, ages ago. This doesn't fly, does it?” Sirius's face fell slightly.

“I enchanted it almost sixteen years ago, to fly to your parent's house. I'd figured out what was going to happen and wanted to get there as fast as I could, but I was too late. So I gave it to Hagrid to get you safely to your relative's house. I didn't even think about apparating at the time.” Harry nodded slowly. Sirius must still blame himself, thought Harry miserably. “Since your now of age, you can ride her whenever, but me or Remus would have to teach you to control her, as she's quite powerful.” Sirius was now grinning broadly, patting the seat of the bike.

“But that'll have to be tomorrow or some other day, as right now, I'm stuffed!” With that he pushed them out of the garage and shut the door behind them. The slow ticking of a grandfather clock could be heard echoing about the house, as Harry, Ron and a very sleepy Neville wandered into the room they were sharing. Harry had his own room by now, but it was still being painted and it stunk of turpentine. Shadow was curled up on the side of his pillow. He lifted a very sleepy head, mewed softly and dropped it again. Harry had left Bolt, his Dwarf Dragon, with Hagrid over the summer, having no place for a dragon at Grimmauld Place. In the last Care of Magical Creatures class, they had released everyone's dragons into the forest. Hagrid had got Dumbledore to set up a non-flying barrier around the forest, so none of the dragons could escape into the grounds or fly out over Hogsmeade; Bolt had refused to go. Scorch and Aqua's pups had been released with them, now almost fully grown. He flopped into his warm, springy bed, for once happy and glad to be away from Hogwarts.

How was the first chapter to my sequel? It'll get more interesting in later chapters, and more interesting things will be happening that don't just happen randomly like my other story. This one will be planned properly and will, hopefully, be better than The Prophecy of Light and Dark! Please Review and tell me what you all think and what I should add or include in this story, like Draco/Ginny romance or something? I'm not begging just suggesting!
