Harry Potter and the Fulfillment of the Prophecy

Disclaimer/Author's Note- I don't own Harry Potter and never will! Well, here's the third chapter, after this, I'll post the first two, and then if I get enough reviews this one. Which is pretty strange, as you all won't be able to read this if I don't get enough reviews! Lol!

This chapter was written while I was very, very, very bored and had nothing to do. I have no idea what I was talking about in the apparating bits, as I don't know how they do it in the books, so please, bare with me!

I have no idea what a town is called in Albania, the word Heritula is made up, so please don't bite my head off, I'm no Geography tech!

Chapter Three- Albania?

“Now, Apparating and Disapparating are very complicated things to do IF you haven't had the proper training!” began their apparation teacher, Martha Deirdre. She was an extremely tall woman with short, scruffy auburn hair. Her smile was broad and joyful; it seemed to brighten all their spirits, as Harry's nervousness was ebbing away. The other three people had exceeded in passing their tests without any splinching. The first boy that Harry had heard screaming had been fixed up and moved to the Healing Area; he obviously failed.

“I will ask you to come up to me one at a time; it will be in alphabetical order. So the first person would be,” she glanced down at her own clipboard. Her face screwed up in a moments concentration, then looked up at Hermione.

“I've heard that name before but I can't think where?” she once more closed her eyes forcefully, sticking her tongue between her teeth. Harry grinned. She reminded him of Tonks. “Ah Ha!” She said loudly, her eyes shining. “You were in the Daily Prophet a few years back, in an article about Harry Potter! So, was it true? Where you with him!” she said, obviously not noticing the boy of the moment right next to her. Hermione smiled slightly.

“No, I wasn't then-!” but the witch cut her off.

“So, you are now? Have you seen him lately?” she said, her eyes wide as saucers, gazing at Hermione longingly. The others stifled laughs at Harry's expression. It was cross between humor and anger. He sighed and tapped her on the shoulder. She shrugged it away, but not before noticing him pushing up his fringe, revealing the lightning-bolt shaped scar. She practically jumped out of her skin, her eyes darting back down to the clipboard, her pupils zipping quickly down the list. They went even wider, flicking back to the grinning Harry.

“I-I thought you were much smaller and younger!” she stammered, going slightly red. Harry smiled a bit wider.

“Nope. Well, umm…………aren't you meant to be teaching Hermione to apparate?” he said, smirking at the horrorstruck expression on her face.

“Yes, yes I am. Oh, Ted's gonna kill me!” she said, slamming a hand to her forehead. She ushered Hermione forward into a lightly drawn golden circle on the golden floor. Hermione was practically bouncing with excitement and nerves.

Harry and the others couldn't hear what Hermione and Martha were saying, but watched as things began to unfold. Firstly, the witch was talking to Hermione about something, flicking her hand and wand around in an odd manner. Hermione merely nodded, copying her with her own wand. After about fifteen minutes the teacher finally stepped out of the golden circle and began walking to a spot a few meters from Hermione. She nodded and flicked her wand, as if showing Hermione the movement. Harry's girlfriend nodded, flicking her wand in front of her. She made some odd movements through the air. They couldn't see exactly what she was doing, as she was facing the other way, only revealing her back and bushy hair.

For a second Harry thought she had done it wrong, as she stood there, flicking her wand about, but in a second she was gone. Harry looked over to where the examiner was standing and gasped to find Hermione jumping up and down in happiness. The others could see the smile gracing Martha's face, as she began to talk to Hermione again. She nodded, and began to flick her wand again, then in a second she was standing in the spot where she was before she disapparated. After a few more demonstrations and tests, involving long distance Apparations and blinded traveling, where a black screen was placed between Hermione and a golden dot on the ground on the opposite side of the sheet. Hermione had to apparate onto that spot, and exactly on it. If not, she had to try again. You only got three chances at each obstacle, and if you didn't get it after three, you failed that part.

Hermione was on the last obstacle. They didn't know what was happening as the witch disappeared, leaving a very nervous Hermione behind. She was just standing there flicking her wand, when she disappeared like the teacher. A few minutes passed, and the others had begun to worry when the teacher reappeared. She was there for a second before Hermione apparated. She was smiling broadly and was staring at the witch with her large brown eyes. In a moment, Hermione was running towards the others, squealing with delight and practically flew into Harry's outstretched arms.

“I did it! I passed! I was so nervous that I'd get splinched and everything, but it's really easy, you all should pass!” she said in one breath, her face red with joy, and her chest rising and falling to catch her breath.

“Draco Malfoy!” announced the witch, moving her eyes up from the board. Draco took a deep breath, smirked and began to walk forwards over the white floor.

“Congrats Mione!” said Harry, placing his girlfriend back onto the ground and kissing her cheek. She grinned broadly, before turning her attention back to where Draco was standing.

“What do you have to do?” Harry heard Ron ask from his left, a slight pang of fear in his voice. Hermione grinned once more.

“You'll just have to wait and see, won't you!” Harry stifled a laugh at the appalled look on his best friend's face, his eyes narrowing in anger. Sirius was snickering, while Lupin and Mr. Weasley were smiling humorously. They watched as Draco began to do what Hermione had just achieved. His test took longer than Hermione's, but he passed everything just as well. He missed the gold dot on the floor behind the black screen when he tried to apparate onto it. He only got it on his third try. A great red shown on his face when he finally passed, its color matching Ron and Ginny's hair. Soon enough he too was being congratulated by the others, having passed his own Apparation Test. Harry's stomach was doing back flips at a tremendous rate by now. When his name was called to go forward, he felt he'd rather stay where he was. Hermione and Draco pushed him forward, saying it was easy. He left them with a small smile and made his way to the grinning witch.

“Hello, Mr. Potter. Now, as I've told the others, Apparating and Disapparating are highly dangerous to the uneducated. Firstly, before you can even think about traveling by apparation, you have to know the proper wand movements and words. You don't have to always use your wand or speak the spells out loud; you can merely say the spell in your mind, without a wand. But at the start, you must use your wand and speak the words, which are Transportis Apparatis. With these two words and the accurate wand movement you may apparate.

“The wand movements go like this,” she waved her wand in front of her body. It swiveled down in a zigzag fashion, before swooping up to a point and flicking out. “Now you try.” Harry mimicked her wand skills, and was awarded a grin from his teacher.

“Great. Now, you have to picture in your mind exactly what you want to do and where you want to go. When you do this, move your wand in the appropriate fashion and say Transportis Apparatis, while picturing you destination clearly in your head. Now, we will move onto the first task. All you have to do is apparate to this point,” she moved away from him to a point a few meters away, and made a great golden dot glow on the white floor. Harry took a deep breath and held his wand out before him.

“Transportis Apparatis!” Harry said loudly, swishing his wand out before him and picturing himself appearing on that dot. Suddenly it felt as though he was spinning exceedingly fast clockwise, and with an almighty `pop', he found himself standing in the exact spot his mind was picturing. He whooped with joy, and turned to see the others cheering, but not hearing anything accept his trainer.

“Good, Harry. Now, try doing it, this far,” she disappeared and reappeared about fifty meters away. Harry did as he had done the first time he apparated, and pictured the spot where he needed to be in his head, and by saying the magic words as well as the wand movements. He reappeared a moment later, fifty meters from where he had last been. He did this once more, this time apparating about a kilometer away. He could just faintly see a few black dots behind him, and see the clear screens shielding the other apparation areas from his own. He could see another person through the screen next to him, just appearing from thin air. He grinned and followed his teacher back to where they first started.

The black screen was placed up again, this time for Harry.

“Just remember what I told you. Just imagine where you want to go in your head,” were Martha's words before she disappeared behind the screen. Harry took a deep breath and prepared himself.

“Transportis Apparatis!” he said, picturing the golden dot behind the screen. But this time it was harder. As he could not see where he was going. He found himself just out of the golden dot, and was asked to do it again. On his second time, he imagined clearly in his head the dot and him appearing on it. He was pleased to find himself on the right spot on his second try, and wiped his head from the sweaty beads loading on it. Martha was looking ecstatic.

“I'm so glad none of you have splinched yourselves as yet!” Harry smiled slightly, his thoughts going to Ron who was still waiting to be tested.

“On the last part of the test, I am going to ask you to travel through different countries this time. It will be easy if you imagine what you want to do, and do it right. The place I'm asking you to apparate to is in a small town, in a large corn filled field. I have a large red circle painted on the ground; you will have to apparate into it to pass. The field is in Albania, in a town called Heritula.” Harry gaped at her.

“Albania?” he stammered, his nerves reappearing. She nodded and grinned, and apparated saying, “Just remember what I told you!” Harry stood still a few moments, before sighing and holding out his wand, picturing the corn field in Albania.

“Transportis Apparatis!” Swishing his wand quickly before him. His body swirled quickly, as he felt himself disappear with a loud `pop'. It took longer than the others, but soon enough he felt a soft breeze on his face. He looked around to find Martha Deirdre grinning madly and clapping. “Now, back we go!” she said, Disapparating. Harry grinned, picturing the golden circle back in England in the Ministry of Magic. In a minute or two, Harry was being congratulated by his friends. He couldn't help but be happy. He had, after all, passed his apparation test!

“C'mon Ron, you can do it!” said Harry happily, pushing his red headed friend forward much to his protests.

“Yeah, Ron! It's easy!” said Hermione.

“Go Weasley, even you can do this!” Draco said, smirking, sneaking a sly glance at Ron's father. Ron glared at the Slytherin before stepping out to follow their Apparation Teacher to the golden circle. After about twenty-five minutes Ron was back with the others, grinning madly and being pat on the back profusely. Even though he had used all three of his chances on each task, he had passed overall. Martha was scribbling something down on her clipboard, ripping four separate sheets off and handing them back to the four friends.

“Congratulations. Just take these result sheets to the head office with your wands!” she said, before ushering a small, skinny boy forward. He had been waiting behind the group since Harry had finished his test. He didn't even look seventeen, accept for the fact that he was in the apparation area about to take his test. Sirius and Lupin led them back the way they had come and through the black rimmed door the man before had passed through. They followed through the door spotting a golden desk at the far end with a slightly pudgy man seated behind it. Many chairs were seated about the room along the walls, as well as about four small tables littered with old copies of Witch Weekly. The group moved towards the desk, with Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco in the lead, their slips of parchment clutched in their hands.

The man looked up and smiled warmly.

“I see you lot have passed!” he took the parchment from their hands and scanned down the sides with his eyes. “Would I please be able to inspect Miss Granger's wand?” he asked. Hermione handed over her wand nervously, watching as the man ran the wood between his fingers carefully, tapping it on the desk and emitting a few green sparks. “All is in order with this wand!” he handed it back and marked a large `tick' upon her sheet. Next was Draco, who was looking very smug when his wand was handed back. When the man read Harry's name, his eyes did the usual flicker to his forehead, but no more. His wand was handed back and his name ticked. Ron was successful too, his face shining with glee when his wand was given back.

The man flicked his own wand over four blank sheets or parchment, and they watched as writing began to fly from the tip of his wand, scattering over the paper with a soft red glow. In a minute or two, the man flicked the now laminated parchment with his hand and gave them to their owners. The result sheets were placed in a large file cabinet behind his golden desk, in their proper alphabetical order.

“Congratulations! You have passed your Apparation Tests and now are permitted to apparate and disapparate when wished. If you ever are in need of a healer if you get splinched just tap your wand against the ground three times and say `Splinch healer for...and your name' Please keep your Apparation Certificates in good condition as they will be a way of showing you have passed and are of age. Thank you!”

...........................................................................................................

They exited the elevator shift into the illuminated Atrium. The golden statues gleamed with fake sunshine as Harry heard Hermione, instinctively mutter, “Highly false!” under her breath at the sight of the house-elf gazing up at the witch and wizard with admiration. He was so happy, nothing could dampen his spirits. His badge was still pinned to his chest, the words: Harry Potter, Apparation Test, still glittered innocently up at him. The many witches and wizards that were appearing from the fireplaces occasionally greeted Mr. Weasley, or cast a weary eye over Sirius. Sirius, however, seemed unperturbed, grinning happily around at the golden walls and marble pillars. Ron was humming softly, staring up at the ceiling while his father talked to an elderly witch.

“Hello, Ronald!” spoke a soft, dreamy voice. Ron spun around and came face to face with Luna Lovegood, a sixth year Ravenclaw girl he had been dating since the previous year. She had large, blue protruding eyes, surrounded in long black eyelashes that were fluttering quickly. Her dirty blond hair was in a rough pony-tail, wisps of hair fell about her face.

“Erm…………hi!” Ron said, a red blush creeping up his cheeks as he kissed her in hello. Harry heard Sirius snicker at his side.

“Hello, Harry,” Luna said to him, hugging him tightly. Harry was not suspecting this from a girl he hardly knew. So he just patted her awkwardly on the back. “Good day, Hermione, Ginny. And you're Draco Malfoy!” she said, turning her blue gaze to Draco, who was supporting a humorous smirk on his face.

“Yeah, I know that!” he said, quirking an eyebrow.

“You saved Harry's life, so, you're my friend as well.” She said, holding out a hand with a Butterbeer cork bracelet attached to her wrist. Draco cautiously shook her hand, quickly letting go and coughing a slight `loony' into his hand. She, however, seemed unfazed and moved next to Harry, facing Sirius, who also supported a smirk.

“Your Harry's godfather. I've always known you were innocent, my father believed Albus Dumbledore.” She said casually, glancing at Lupin. “You were my favorite Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. You were everyone's!” she said, turning back to Ron and clasping his hand. Both Maraulders wore looks suggesting confusion mixed with humor. They decided not to comment; instead they turned their attention back to Mr. Weasley and the old witch.

“-yes, I was just saying last night to Oliver that the Ministry's going down hill. It won't be long until another Minister is chosen over Fudge. His office is going to the dog's.” said the old witch, nodding her head in approval of her own words. “Well, I better be off, Arthur, be sure to drop in that report to Perkins tomorrow for me, won't you? I'd like to read it and get a few ideas from it!” with that she left. The group watched as she joined a queue at the nearest fireplace.

“Dad, this is Luna Lovegood, the girl Ron has been dating since the middle of last year,” said Ginny happily, gaining a very horrified look from Ron. Mr. Weasley's face lit up. He shook Luna's hand happily, his eyes shining with joy.

“I remember you from the parties! It's nice to meet you, Luna. I'm glad someone was nice enough to tell me that Ron was dating.” Ron's face, if even possible, went redder, now a brilliant shade of crimson, even brighter than his hair. Luna smiled dreamily, nuzzling into Ron's shoulder.

“Yes, Ronald and I are very happy together!” Harry smothered a laugh in his hand at the appalled look on his best friends face. At that moment a tall man, with smooth, blond hair strolled up to them. His eyes were the palest of blue and stuck out of his head. Harry knew immediately that this must have been Luna's father.

“Luna honey, we must get going!” he said, casting a blind eye other her and Ron's intertwined fingers.

“I think we'd better be going home as well, don't you think?” said Mr. Weasley. The others nodded, and grinned when Luna kissed Ron lightly on his cheek, imprinting a slight white mark against the red. He nodded slowly.

“Owl me, Ronald!” she called as she was led away by her father.

“We can either take Floo or Portkey? I think Floo would be safer, as no one should know about you-know-where!” with that, they joined a short line of people disappearing into a fireplace, green flames engulfing them whole.
