Harry Potter and the Fulfillment of the Prophecy

Disclaimer/Author's Note- Yeah, the usual. I don't own Harry Potter and never will, sniff! Well, I've just thought of another great thing to happen. It's so cool. Sorry this chapter took so long to come out! I've had no patience lately, none at all. Zero, zilch, zap! Well, enjoy!

This is funny! What Sirius says down there a bit, is what I really said! I went crazy trying to figure it out. Haha, you'll see! I got my parents, brother and neighbors trying to figure it out!

Chapter Six- The Sequel

There were only a few, short weeks left before the return to Hogwarts, and Harry was feeling it the most. This holiday had been the best ever. He had stayed with his godfather, his girlfriend, and many other friends. But now he had to return to school, taking all but one with him. Harry was going to miss Sirius.

One early morning, when the sun was shining her rays upon Harry's sleeping face, the door creaked open slowly. A large black dog padded along the polished floor keeping his head low and ears erect. Dark eyes stared at the silent form of a boy, and his savage lips formed a gruesome smile. In a flash a man was jumping on the bed his face in a large grin, strangely like the dog's toothy smile. The boy jumped up startled then moaned, throwing a feathered pillow at his godfather.

“Get out of it, Sirius!” Harry said gruffly, stuffing his head under the sheets. Sirius just grinned while pulling Harry from the bed and dumping him on the ground.

“Come on, kiddo! I've gotta show you something!” he said, still grinning while he watched his godson pull himself from the floor, cursing silently under his breath. A short time later, two black haired men were standing before an old fireplace, one beaming, while the other was still half-asleep. A fist full of green powder was thrown into the empty grate, to be replaced by flickering emerald flames. The eldest of them, being Sirius, flicked Harry's nose, gaining a slight `ow'.

“You can go first, just step in and say `The Sequel' and you'll go to where ever we're going. I'll come straight after you. Go on, hurry up!” Sirius said excitedly, pushing Harry forward and partially into the flames. Harry sighed.

He said in a clear voice. “The Sequel!” before being swept away in a whirl of flickering flames and green ash. Harry coughed as he stumbled out onto a carpeted floor. It smelt of an odd flower, its scent tingled Harry's nose. While pulling himself up, he fixed his glasses which had shattered in his fall. The room he was in was cozy, with scarlet carpet and squishy black armchairs surrounding the fireplace. Upon the walls were a couple dozing portraits, surrounded by other photo frames of waking people. Harry walked closer to a small coffee table where there was a photo placed upon its glassed surface. It was a muggle photo, Harry realized as its occupant was still and silent. He leant closer, hearing his heart beat frantically as he slowly recognized the couple framed in front of him.

He knew those green eyes and dark red hair. He knew that scruffy head of black and that cheeky grin. Harry knew those two people dearly, with his soul. He never had met them, but loved them. They were his parents, both smiling, with love framed in their eyes. They were standing before a small cottage, a sign propped up beside them. It read `Godric's Hollow'. Harry was startled when he heard a voice speak happily behind him.

“Welcome to Godric's Retreat!” His heart could be heart thumping hard. A silence hung around them, only disrupted by the sizzling of the dying flames. The portraits on the walls were slowly waking, casting a weary eye over their visitors. Harry began to notice other pairs of boney knees, and other heads of black hair. He saw the same almond shaped eyes and hair that stuck up at the back. More photos of his parents smiled down at him, some of muggle and others of Wizarding. Sirius stood beaming down at Harry, an excited grin still plastered to his face. Harry couldn't say anything.

“This is the sequel to Godric's Hollow. I wanted to call it something to do with `hollow', but I couldn't think of another word for it. So I just chose Godric's Retreat. Me and moony have been working on it for ages and its finally ready. Do you like it?” Sirius added in a soft voice, glancing around nervously, coming to a rest on Harry's wide eyes.

“I mean its ok if you don't want it, I just thought you'd want a place to stay when you finish school, that's all.” He said with a slight pang of disappointment. Harry couldn't believe it. He grinned and bolted into Sirius's arms, hugging him tightly.

“I love it Padfoot! It's really mine, I mean, mine and yours and Moony's?” he said quickly, a ball of happiness welling deep in his chest and heart. Sirius's change of voice was greatly noticed. It showed on his face and in his eyes. He gave off a bark of laughter.

“It's just yours, kiddo! Me and Moony made it for you and your lovely bride-to-be!” Harry turned to Sirius sharply.

“Just mine?!” he blurted. “Holy-!” At that moment Sirius cracked up into fits of laughter, steering Harry around for a Grand tour. First came a brilliant bathroom, where the tub was like an actual spa, fitting more than three people. It was decorated with white marble tiles, with occasional pictures of angels. The master bedroom was huge. The bed was king-sized, with crimson and gold drapes and bed sheets. The curtains were black, and the walls were white. There were four other rooms, each different colors. The kitchen was large and white. The Dining Room was quite luxurious, with a large mahogany table with clawed feet. They ventured outside. The back garden beds were small, but the yard was large. It looked out upon a small stream that traveled through a clump of trees. The front was startling to Harry. From the front, it looked as if the home was just a small country cottage, with white curtained windows and brown bricked walls. It didn't look like the inside was large and grand. It was the same as the photo of Harry's parents with the small sign reading `Godric's Hollow'. But this time, Harry hugged Sirius beside a small brown post. Inscribed in gold upon a sign read `Godric's Retreat' and in small lettering below the main title said `Potter Palace'.

This was the best and most thoughtful gift Harry had ever received. This was what he had always wanted. A place he could call home.

........................................................................................

They traveled back to Grimmauld Place through the small fireplace in the Sequels Living Room. The others were already seated at the breakfast table and feasting on a magnificent meal. Nobody asked where they had been. Harry merely kissed Hermione on the cheek and smiled lovingly. He wasn't ready to share his new home with them just yet. He was still getting used to the idea of living in the new and improved version of Godric's Hollow, his parents' former home and death place. The feeling of finally having an actual home couldn't be put into words. Harry just sat, smiling sadly at the memory of Lily and James Potter, Harry's parents who were watching him from above. He couldn't keep from thinking once more.

“Thanks, Mom, Dad”

The following week passed quickly. Ron couldn't help but apparate from upstairs to downstairs and from room to room. When he finally apparated on Ginny while she was in the loo, he stopped his childish games and started to use the stairs like everyone else. Hermione and Harry were spending more and more time together, growing closer as time passed. Their love blossomed and shown in their eyes when they looked at each other. Ron and Luna were growing more attached as well. Harry found Ron writing and sending letters out daily. Draco refused to say who had caught his fancy, but Harry had noticed his blond-haired Slytherin friend and a particular female red head giving each other sly glances here and there and much kinder behavior between them. Harry didn't think he should share this information with Ron, so he told Hermione instead. She didn't seem to think it was unusual.

“When two people are stuck together for a long period of time, feelings arise. It will be the typical Romeo and Juliet Romance, you'll see. I think it's incredibly sweet!” she told Harry. He thought it was somewhat nice; but he didn't want to think about Ron's reaction to their hidden love. Harry hoped Draco had a nice coffin picked out.

They still had no idea who the new DADA teacher was going to be on the night of their return to Hogwarts. There was an order meeting that night and Ginny was in a foul mood. They left her fuming in the Drawing Room. This was the last meeting they would be called to until the next year. Unless there was a important meeting called or there was an emergency. Many people were there tonight, well, more than usual. They were hoping to find out about the new professor, but once the headmaster began, they knew they wouldn't get so lucky.

“During the school year, our student informants will let us know of any happenings. If any meetings shall be called during class or if I need you, a golden feather will appear on Harry's desk, as he knows what it will mean and where it is from. He will tell the teacher that `Fawkes Calls' and they will know what it means. Many of the Hogwarts staff are in the order or have been informed of why you shall need to go. You are to gather the others if they are in separate classes and any others that I tell you to get. You will know what I mean if the time arises, and I am sure it will.

“This is all for the smaller meeting, as I know the younger ones need to get up early in the morning. If you would like to, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Draco? Please,” they nodded solemnly and rose from their seats. Once they were outside and the door closed behind them, they tried to hear what was happening back in the kitchen, to no prevail. Ron was fuming.

“What's the use of us being in the order if we're not allowed to listen to the whole thing?!” Nobody bothered to answer him. If it was one thing they all knew about Ron, was if you left him be, he'd get over what he was angry about and be quiet. Ginny very enthusiastically demanded to know everything that they had heard. They told her, but she seemed very stuck on the idea that they were keeping something from her. She shut up after a few minutes and went back to her book. Hermione settled in an armchair, as did Draco. Ron settled down on the floor to devise up new battle plans for chess. He kept mumbling things like, “Nah, can't move there, I'll be thrashed,” or “Yes, I'll have him there!” Harry found a piece of parchment and a quill and decided to draw something. He knew he wasn't very good, but he was bored.

After an hour or two, he had just drawn a few snitches with `HG' written on them. He thought of his father, and his snitch with `LE' on it. Thinking about his father made him curious to know more about his mother. He knew about his dad's friends but hardly anything about his mum's. He decided to ask Sirius in the morning or something. They drifted off to bed around ten, having to wake earlier than usual in the morning.

Harry was woken by Ginny's shrill screaming. Harry scrambled into the hallway to find the small red head drenched form head to foot. The water dripped from her nose, as her face turned to a brilliant shade off red.

“I'M GONNA KILL SIRIUS!” she screamed bolting down the stairs, leaving a chuckling Harry behind. He wandered into the bathroom, wiping sleep from his eyes. He blew a blond strand from his eyes, still trying to discard sleep from his gaze. He quickly pulled on his glasses, finally remembering he didn't have `blond” hair. But when his eyes fell onto his hair, it was the usual black and extremely messy. He shrugged as he jumped into the showing, thinking it was a trick of the light.

The house was a frenzy when he finally stepped from the bathroom, allowing an angry Ron in after him. Mrs. Weasley was yelling at Sirius, while an amused Ginny watched close by, a smug look on her face. Lupin was sipping even more coffee in the kitchen, having taken a liking to the caffeine drink over the previous year.

Mr. Weasley had organized some Ministry cars for their trip, being on good terms with Fudge again. No one had seen Percy yet, and didn't really want to. Hardly anyone forgave him for dumping his family except Molly; even Arthur got a bit dark in his eyes when his third eldest son was mentioned. Sirius continually called him a prat and something he always was hit on the head for saying. They pulled up outside Kings Cross with fifteen minutes to spare. Tonks, Kingsley, Sirius, Lupin and Molly Weasley were the ones to take them onto Platform Nine and three quarters this year. Tonks had long, mid-waist blond hair and green eyes, startlingly like Harry's.

Many people called out to them as they ventured across the platform. The Slytherins were the ones throwing death glares and insults under their breaths when they passed. Harry just grinned and waved at them, knowing that they couldn't or wouldn't do anything while their guardians were around. The whistle blew as the train started to move, with Harry hanging from the window, laughing as he watched Sirius the dog bound by the train like their fifth year. Snuffles became a black spot as they rounded the corner and vanished completely. They promised to keep in touch throughout the year, more than the previous one, as they were hardly talking.

They found an empty compartment and loaded their things in the hangers. Harry and Hermione wandered down to the Prefect carriage. Being the Head Boy and Girl meant telling the Prefects what to do. They pinned their silver badges to their robes and pulled open the front compartment door. Inside it was luxurious. It was very large, much larger than the other compartments. It was at least four times the size, and had white carpeted floors. There were black hangings upon the windows and grey silk seats. All the other prefects were there already. Their eyes followed them into the room, many having knowing looks on their faces. Hermione cleared her throat.

“Well, I'm the new Head Girl, I'm Hermione Granger. And you all should know Harry; he's the new Head Boy. On this trip you will have to patrol the corridors every so often, just to check that no one is playing up. If you need us, we will be in the compartment down there, the fifth door in the third carriage. We want to be with our friends instead of in here. Well, erm, I think that's all!” she said. The others looked a bit startled at being released so early, but passed back out into the corridor, chatting happily. Hermione and Harry made their way back to their own friends, talking of many things that they now had the privilege to. They settled back down with Ron and Draco. Luna joined them sometime later, as did Ginny.

Harry smirked. It was this time of the year when he awaited the usual arrival from Draco Malfoy and his goons. It seemed strange that, that same Slytherin was now part of their group and just stayed with them over the summer. Their had been no visits from any of the Slytherins, but that was too quickly spoken. The compartment door slid open, revealing none other than the two thick-headed Crabbe and Goyle and a black headed, freckle faced Slytherin, named Blaise Zabini. Draco quirked an eyebrow but stayed silent. No one bothered to stand or even speak to them. They just stared at them, disgust and humor etched in their gaze.

“So, Malfoy's joined your little crew. Whoop de do! No one cares about Potter's little friends, just Potter himself. Are you ready for this year, Potter? Are you ready to die?” he said, smirking, looking at Harry with a brown-eyed gaze. Harry burst out laughing, as did the others. Blaise looked a bit startled.

“You think you're the number one Slytherin, now that Draco's gone. Last year, you were too scared to even look at Draco or me! Now your all like, `Are you ready to die, Potter?' That's the funniest thing I've ever heard. Get out of here before you kill us with your stupidity!” Harry said, laughing again. The compartment rattled with humor as the Slytherins threw disgusted glares and vanished down the corridor. The mood was much happier as the train traveled on. Night had set by the time the train was pulled to a stop. They clambered out onto the foggy platform, hearing the faint call for the first years coming from their large friend.

They jumped into a Thestral drawn carriage. They all could see them now. Due to the siege of Hogwarts, each of them had seen death. The winged creatures cantered up the path into the Hogwarts grounds. Harry and Hermione's felines were both in their traveling baskets; a low growling could be heard from Crookshanks. They piled out and climbed up into the Entrance Hall. Many heads turned their way, the others not used to seeing Draco Malfoy with the famous Gryffindor Trio. They walked into the Great Hall, and immediately noticed a change. There were Hufflepuff students sitting with Ravenclaws, and Gryffindors chatting to Hufflepuffs. The Slytherins were the only ones still at their own table. Their faces set in repulsion. Harry spotted Blaise glaring at him, so he smirked and waved, gaining a very rude gesture in return.

They took seats at the Gryffindor Table, feeling more at home there. Draco sat down nervously, his home table being the far one, where the students were talking about the `traitor'. Harry looked up to the Teacher's Table, hoping to find a new face. His eyes scanned across to a seat next to Dumbledore's. A witch was sitting there. She had long braided light brown hair and bright luminous blue eyes that Harry could see from the seat he was in. They were scanning the hall. She caught Harry's gaze and stuck to it. He looked down.

The headmaster stood and gained silence from his pupils.

“We come to another year. A year that will be full of memories and choices. You all have the choice to your own futures. It's your time to decide what to do with your lives and it's your time to choose which side to take. We're in the middle of a war here. It's the war of Light and Dark. Voldemort's forces are getting bigger, and stronger. We have already suffered a part of his wrath. But that was all it was, a `part'. The real war is coming, and we are in the middle of it. We can't sit back and wait for Voldemort to attack and split us in two. We have to choose which side and fight back. This year, the DA will continue. Mr. Harry Potter will run it again, and teach any who wants to learn defense and fight. Our new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher Professor Tide,” at this name their was an outbreak of chatter, but it quickly dispensed.

“Will be going over all the things you have learnt, but will move onto spells to defend you and weapon fighting once more. This will begin as soon as lessons do. The DA will be on Friday evenings at Six and Tuesdays at the same time. I have made sure that these times do not interfere with your Quidditch Training.” He continued for a while going over the usual start of term speech. The first years were sorted, this years bunch all small and scrawny. The dinner appeared and everyone tucked in. Ron was stuffing his mouth as if he'd never eaten before; while Luna smiled dreamily from his side. When the plates had been cleared, Harry didn't get a chance to speak with his godfather, as Professor McGonagall cut him off.

“You and Ms Granger are to sleep in the Head rooms. They are to be found in Gryffindor Tower. There is a portrait of William the Wishful beside the east window. The password is Godric. Ms Grangers Room is on the left and your room is on the right. A study room is above both your rooms, where you can work out your DA classes or study. Do not abuse your privileges. Congratulations!” with that she left Harry standing by the Gryffindor Table, Hermione standing by his side.

”Godric!” Harry said softly to the said portrait. William the Wishful bowed ever so slightly and swung open. The staircase was a dark wood and led spiraling upwards. Hermione's room was furnished with oak as was Harry's. He couldn't enter her room; it was if a strong force field held him back. Once they had said goodnight, Harry retired to his own room. His bed sheets were a deep crimson with gold pillows. He had a view of the entire grounds and lake. He collapsed into his bed smiling broadly.

“Ahh, it's good to be back!” he mumbled closing his eyes and drifting into a dreamless slumber.
