Chapter 1

Harry Potter laid on his bed, staring at the ceiling, it was the summer and he was about to go into sixth year, he felt extremely happy that he was going to get to see his best friends soon. Harry turned and looked at the photo frames that were on his window still. One of them consist the trio. Hermione was in the middle while Harry stood to her right and Ron was to the left. All three of them were laughing as Hermione had her arms wrapped round the two boys’ waist, both boys were facing Hermione but their heads were facing the camera. Harry smiled at the sight of the three of them. Hermione had grown up in to a young woman while Ron towered over Harry by a few inches and Harry was towering over Hermione by a few inches. All three of them had grown since they’ve met each other. Ron was the tallest of everyone in their year while Harry had grown to 6 feet so that made Ron about 6 feet and 5 inches while Hermione was 5 feet 8, she was still the smallest and youngest in the trio.

The second one was with everyone in the Gryffindor house and they were all waving and laughing at Harry. Dumbledore had taken this picture the day everyone was leaving; everyone in the house had made Harry laugh while they were getting the photo taken.

The third one was the Weasley and adopted family. Everyone was there and they all were smiling. Ron stood in the back with Bill, Charlie and Percy while Molly stood the right and Arthur stood to the left while professor Mc Gongall was in the sitting in the middle with Professor Dumbledore and Professor Lupin. Harry sat in front of them with Hermione sitting to the right of him and Sirius was on the left of him. Ginny was sitting next to Hermione and she was laughing at something that Tonks was saying as Tonks was sitting next to Ginny and Mad-eye was sitting next to Sirius.

All them were laughing into the camera.

The best photo Harry had was of him and Hermione; they both were on the grass tickling each other. Ron was helping his mom clean up the kitchen and he took the photograph at the time without their knowledge and gave it to Harry for his Christmas last year which Harry treasured the most, on the back it said ‘To Harry, many happy memories of us lot, love Ron and Hermione and the rest of the family!’ Needless to say, Harry was choked up with tears when he read the inscription and had given everyone a hug.

A soft hoot alerted Harry and he looked up toward the window and smiled brightly when he saw Hedwig.

“Hey girl, have a nice flight?” Harry asked as he let her in. Hedwig hooted as she settled on Harry’s shoulder and nibbled his ear in an affection, which provoked Harry to grin. “I missed you too.” Harry said as he stroked her front and peeled the letter away from her leg and opened it. It was from Ron.

‘Hey Harry, mom wants you to come up to the Burrow for the rest of the summer, everyone will be here, don’t know about Hermione though, she hadn’t written back to me yet. Has she written at all to you? Ginny is getting worried because Hermione hadn’t contacted her at all, what do you think? Send this back as soon as you can. Ron.’

Harry’s brows furrowed together as he thought back to all the time he had written to Hermione yet had gotten no answer, he just assumed that she was busy but with Hermione not contacting anyone, that wasn’t like her and she knew that everyone would panic, thinking that Voldemort had gotten her if she didn’t contact anyone. Harry turned to his owl and tapped his sliver chain twice.

“Hey Hedwig, when you went to Hermione, did you see her there?” Harry hooted to Hedwig.

“No I didn’t, I just assumed that she was out that day and left the letter on her bed, when I went back there the next day, the letter was gone and I assumed that she had taken it with her.” Hedwig hooted back and Harry grew more puzzled.

“If there was someway to contact her.” Harry muttered to himself and hurried down to the stairs to the living room.

“Aunt Petunia, can I borrow the phone for a minute?” Harry asked and Petunia looked at him sharply.

“Why?” she asked with a curious look and tone.

“One of my friend had not been in contact with me for a while and I’m getting worried about her because it isn’t like her.” Harry said and Dudley laughed.

“Oh is poor Harry Warry’s girlfriend been ignoring him?” and Harry rolled his eyes.

“She is not my girlfriend no more than Jason is your boyfriend.” Harry retorted to Dudley, which shut him up sharply, Harry turned to his Aunt once more. “Please?” Harry begged his green eyes pleading with hers and Petunia inhaled a sharp breath. His eyes were so much like Lily whenever she pleaded with her for something and Petunia felt her resolved weaking and she nodded.

“Fine! But no more than a few minutes.” Petunia snapped and Harry shot her a grateful look as he rushed toward the phone.
