Chapter 27: Forbidding Corridor.

Harry stormed his way in through the corridor till he reached the door where the trapdoor laid. He pulled opened the door and stepped in, he looked around before shutting the door and walked over to the trap.

It was still open, he jumped through it, thankful that the devil’s snare wasn’t still there, he hurried through all the other rooms till he reached the main chapter of where the Mirror of Erised.

There it was, still standing in the middle of the room, still in the same place as the last time he saw it. Harry looked around the room to make sure that he was alone as the cold feeling was still surrounding him; he walked over to the mirror and looked into it.

There they were, the Grangers still chained to the wall and Dudley too, for some strange reason. The figure was still laughing at them while saying something, Mrs. Granger was shouting at the figure.

Harry bit back a growl of frustration, as he couldn’t hear anything.

‘Why the hell is this mirror showing me this? This is not my desire!’ Harry thought to himself, wondering what exactly does the mirror hold. He looked around the mirror wondering what to do when all of a sudden the scene in front of him changed.

Harry watched with wide-eyed when he saw Hermione appear in front of him, waving, smiling and occasionally sending him blow kisses.

Harry’s heart melted when he saw her then fear creeped up into his body when he saw Hermione’s love face turned to one of horror as darkness formed behind her, she started to call out for Harry when a hand clamped over her mouth and an arm wrapped around her waist, dragging her backward in the darkness.

Harry let out a shout of pain and fear as he slammed his hands on the mirror.

Hermione in the mirror pulled out something from her robe pocket and threw it at the mirror, Harry watched as the bottle fly toward the glass and all of a sudden when it hit the glass it appeared in Harry’s hand. Harry looked at it confused, wondering how it got there and looked back into the mirror, Hermione was slowly disappearing but she managed to rip her mouth away from the capture’s hand.

“Give that to me now!” she mouthed as she disappeared.

It hit Harry like a ten-ton brick as he scrambled back up the levels till he reached the trapdoor, he pulled himself through it and crashed the door opened before hurrying down the hall till he reached the stairs and used all his speed to get back to Hermione in the hospital wing.

“Just hold on baby, I’m nearly there.” Harry whispered as he ran as fast as he could.

                Meanwhile in the Hospital wing:

Everyone was surrounding Hermione; the mystery virus was killing her quickly that Poppy found out that she was nearly end of her suffering.

“Is there nothing we can do?” Minerva asked and both Snape and Poppy shook their heads.

“If we don’t know what is killing her there is no way we can make a cure.” Snape explained.

“None of potions are working.” Poppy explained, Ginny and Luna looked away with tears in their eyes, they couldn’t watch as their best friend was dying in front of them.

“Where is Harry?” Ron demanded, everyone shrugged when all of a sudden the door crashed opened, revealing a harassed Harry, his hair was slicked to his forehead due to sweat and he was breathing harshly from running.

He hurried over to Hermione, tipped her head back and gently parted her lips while using his teeth to removed the stopped from the vial. He tipped half the purple liquid in into her mouth, waiting to see of she would take.

Hermione coughed a little as she took the liquid when all of a sudden a dark purple light enveloped her body, causing her to arch her body in ecstasy as her head tipped back while she let out a low moan of pleasure.

“Okay, that is too weird.” Ron muttered as everyone agreed but Harry didn’t hear a thing except that Hermione was making noises, all he could focus on was Hermione.

All of a sudden Hermione’s body relaxed on the bed, then her eyes snapped opened, showing that her eyes colours had been turned to a dark blue/purple colour and she let out a scream that would be heard all over the Wizarding world, announcing that she was still alive.

The spiders and animals in the Forbidding Forest, all the animals in the castle, the animals in the lake and all the animals in the Wizarding world all snapped their heads’ up and howled back, accepting her as their queen; she was the one who controls them and they would forever obey to her.

Everyone could hear the animals reply and was stunned.

“Wow!” everyone whispered apart from Harry.

Hermione was now floating over the bed when all of a sudden to vanished, taking them all along with her.

They found themselves on the Astronomy’s tower; Hermione was glowing as she looked out toward the world.

“Hear there everyone.” Hermione spoke in a tone that was more enthral and mystic then her normal tone. “Whoever tried to kill me will now suffer in eternal pain, what you have done was despicable and cowardly. My animals around me, seek out this person and bring them to me to deal with.” Hermione snapped as the light grew brighter around her and shot out to cover the entire school ground.

Everyone could hear the thumping of the animals as they all stormed off to find the murderer, all the birds cawed as they flew their ways in the night and all the sea animals dove to the bottom of the lake or ocean to find their way.

Bloody hell…” Ron whispered and everyone nodded in agreement, now realising just how powerful Hermione was.

Hermione gasped as the light began to fade and she slowly floated back down to the ground. Harry caught her in his arms.

“Hermione?” Harry whispered, Hermione slowly opened her eyes and Harry was delighted to see that they had returned to their normal chocolate colour.

“I love you too Harry.” Hermione whispered with a small smile. Harry smiled back and kissed her firmly on the mouth.

Everyone had turned away with tears in their eyes, they were overjoyed and overwhelmed that Hermione was alive and was fine.
