Chapter 20
“She’s down there I know she is!” Ron yelled at Harry and Hermione.
They rolled their eyes.
“How do you know? She might not be.”
“I knew it! I knew Blaise would do something to hurt her. I should kick his ass!”
“Again, you mean?” Harry asked.
“I didn’t do it properly last night.” Ron retorted.
“For Merlin’s sake, Ron, he was in the Hospital Wing!” Hermione replied impatiently.
Ron was standing directly in front of the corridor to the Slytherin dungeons.
“She’ll come out. She has to sometime!”
Harry looked at Hermione, “Come on, let’s go eat breakfast.”
“Hey! You can’t leave me just standing here!”
Hermione turned to him, “Ron, we’ve been standing here all night with you. So I think we can leave you!”
So Harry and Hermione left Ron by himself.
~*~*~*~*~
“That was absolutely great!” Pansy said laughing. The other girls just looked at her.
“I didn’t think it was.” Millicent said.
“Oh what do you know?” Pansy snapped at her.
Then she got up and went to leave the Great Hall.
~*~*~*~*~
Sara was practically running from Blaise outside the castle.
“How could you do that, Blaise?” Sara said almost in tears for her best friend.
“I don’t know I really did like her. But last night I realized that I love you.”
Sara scoffed, “Oh, yeah. I do not believe you!”
“Why?” Blaise said bewildered.
“So you can do the same thing to me that you did to Ginny? Sorry buddy-boy, you’re not fooling me!”
~*~*~*~*~
Pansy came out of the Great Hall and glanced over at Ron.
“What are you doing Ron?” she asked
“Waiting on Ginny.” He answered, not really paying attention to who asked it.
“I saw Blaise dump her ass last night.” She said to him, and then to herself she added, “My plan didn’t work after all.”
Ron snapped his head in her direction and grabbed her by the collar before she could walk away.
“What plan you little wench?”
When she didn’t answer he slammed her head against the wall four times.
“Alright, alright, I’ll tell you!” she panted, “It was this love potion you see,”
“LOVE POTION? WHAT LOVE POTION?”
“I meant to give it to Ginny, but Blaise took it instead!”
Ron’s eyes grew wide and he dragged her over to the Great Hall, opened the doors and yelled, “Hermione, Harry, get out here NOW! It’s VERY important!”
He then dragged Pansy back to his post at the entrance to the Slytherin dungeons.
Hermione stood up huffing and puffing, “if he thinks he can talk to me like that he’s got another thing coming! This has gone too far!”
She shoved the doors open and marched over to Ron, “What the bloody hell do –“
Ron shoved Pansy into Hermione’s face and shook her.
“TELL HER WHAT POTION!” he yelled, and when she didn’t answer he shook her violently again.
Pansy broke down and told Hermione the whole story, including the ingredients to the potion.
Hermione listened to every word she said, grabbed Harry’s hand and raced to the library.
Ron pushed her away, “NOW GET OUT OF MY SIGHT BEFORE I BEAT YOU TO WITHIN AND INCH OF YOUR LIFE!”
Pansy left without another word.
~*~*~*~*~
Ginny woke in Draco’s arms with a smile on her face.
He looked at her, “Ready to tell the school and get some breakfast, Kitten?”
She nodded, and they got up, got dressed, and left his room.
~*~*~*~*~
Hermione was flipping frantically through pages, “Where is it, where is it?”
She threw that book aside and picked up another.
“It has to be here!” she lamented.
“Hermione, you’ve only looked through one book.”
She snapped her head up at him, “Well, it should’ve been in the first book, Harry. Now stop bothering me.”
I hate it when she’s in these moods.
~*~*~*~*~
Draco and Ginny came walking down the corridor hand in hand.
Ron spotted them, ran over to Draco, and punched him right in the eye, “What did you do to her you little prick?”
Ginny screamed, “Oh my god, Ron STOP IT NOW!”
Ron stopped at her voice because she reminded him of their mother.
“Ginny, you need to be more careful! Look what happened with Blaise! He’s is far much worse! What are you doing to yourself?”
“Ron, I love him!”
Ron was attempting to get at Draco again, but stopped at her words.
“What?” he asked almost too calmly.
“You heard me Ron, I love him.”
~*~*~*~*~
“Get away from me Blaise!” Sara screeched at him.
She was running inside the castle now, and Blaise wasn’t far behind.
She ran to her common room, said the password, and clambered in. she could hear Blaise on the other side, but she went to her room and hid there.
~*~*~*~*~
Pansy was rushing down the hall when professor Dumbledore approached her.
“I have already seen your father,” he said handing her a paper, “Your things are packed and are waiting for you at the front door, as is a carriage. Do take care and don’t step into my school again.”
And with that, professor Dumbledore turned swiftly and walked away.
Pansy looked down and seen that the paper was a letter explaining her expulsion.
~*~*~*~*~
When Ginny said those words, Ron froze. And in that moment, Draco took his chance, and punched Ron square in the nose.
“Draco! Stop!” Ginny yelled at him, and Draco’s face shown that he was happy to finally hit Ron Weasley.
Ron clutched his nose, “What did you say?” he mumbled toward Ginny.
“I love Draco. I never loved Blaise.”
“Well, you thought you did. Now look at what happened to that? What if you’re mistaken again? I know what you did with him! Don’t look at me like that, I’m not stupid! You can never take that back Ginny! Never!”
“Ron, all I can say is that I’ll never know if I really love him until I give it a chance! Please, Ron. I know I’m asking you a lot, but just another chance to make my own decisions.”
“Fine, but if he hurts you, in any way, I’m killing him.”
“And I won’t stop you.” Draco chimed in.
Ron and Ginny looked at him in surprise.
“Well, that will make killing him much easier, Ron.”
“I could do it!”
Ginny just rolled her eyes, took Draco's hand, and went to get some breakfast.
~*~*~*~*~
After ten more books, Hermione screeched, “This is it! It’s here.”
Hermione was reading through the passage and gasped once she was done.
“What?” Harry asked cautiously.
“Sara is in trouble.”
~*~*~*~*~
Hermione and Harry were rushing down the stairs towards Ron.
“We found it.” Harry panted.
“I found it. Anyway, Sara is in trouble. Blaise obviously saw Sara while he was drinking the potion. The potion’s spell doesn’t break unless Blaise sees Sara kissing another guy. But, if Blaise kisses Sara first, with Sara’s consent or not, she will fall in love with him.”
Ron looked a little puzzled. “Okay, we need to tell Ginny so she won’t be hurt by Blaise’s actions, and then we need to tell Sara to kiss someone, and not let Blaise kiss her!”
“Great plan Ron, like we didn’t think of that.” Harry said nicely.
Ron looked at him sheepishly, “Right.”
~*~*~*~*~
Hermione went to Ginny and explained the whole thing.
Ginny decided she couldn’t hold anything against Blaise, except the fact he was using her, but Draco told her that he was beginning to really care for her.
Ginny rushed to the Ravenclaw tower, to see Blaise banging on the wall.
Blaise turned and looked at her.
“Move Blaise.” Ginny said.
He grabbed her shoulders and said in a desperate voice, “Please bring her out, I must talk to her!”
Ginny nodded, said the password, and entered. But before she could close the entrance, Blaise climbed in too.
“I’ll wait here, you go get her!”
Ginny went up the stairs to the girls’ dormitory and found Sara in her room.
Ginny explained the whole thing, and Sara went back down with Ginny and grabbed a little fourth year boy with her.
When Sara tried to kiss the little boy where Blaise could see her, Blaise went ballistic and grabbed Sara and kissed her before Ginny could even blink.
When Blaise finally stopped kissing her, Sara smiled and said, “I love you, Blaise.”
He smiled and they left, hand in hand, without looking back.
