“Well? How is it? Do you like it? Is it the worst thing you've ever read? Help me, I'm dying here!” said Hermione.
“I think it's-er- interesting! I don't get it Hermione, you are so smart, why are you writing about something like how people post too many flyers on the news board in the Gryffindor house? You are a writer for The Hogwarts Topic now! If it helps, Ron and I will help you think of things to write about!” replied Harry.
“HEY! I heard you say my name; I'm not doing whatever you want me to do. By the way, great article Hermione! I love how you included Fred and George as the cause of it!” said Ron teasingly as he ate a chicken leg.
Hermione just rolled her eyes and looked at Harry. “Harry, I can't write about important things. Nothing goes on around Hogwarts anymore! Maybe I should just go back to reading my way into `Through the life of a social outcast' book! AKA, the story of MY life!” said Hermione as she sighed and plopped onto the couch of Gryffindor's common room.
“Don't talk like that. You are just going through a phase, when you think you are nothing and worthless. All good reporters go through it. Now, as I was saying, Ron and I will help you. Why don't we just take a walk around the school right now to get some scoop?” said Harry helpfully. Hermione smiled at how much he cares and got up. She disappeared into the girls' common room and came out seconds later with a notepad and pen.
“Lets Go!”
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the trio returned from their walk, they looked over Hermione's list.
Journalism Ideas for Hermione
Professor Trelawney's new glasses
Ravenclaw's new brooms
New way to order food
might be another ball coming up!
“Okay! 1, I don't like Professor Trelawney. 2, I don't write for the sports section. 3, the food has already been written about. Now, 4 I can definitely write about! Let's see, the excitement of the ball that was 3 years ago motivated Dumbledore to make a ball for each graduation of the 7th years” said Hermione.
“That's perfect Hermione! Now all you need is some more information. I'm sorry to say that Ron and I have to go to Quidditch practice now. Why don't you go to Dumbledore and interview him about it without us?” said Harry.
Hermione agreed and she was on her way. While Harry and Ron were walking and talking about how in the last practice Ginny (A/N Ginny joined the team!) had scored 100 points in 10 shots. Then, they heard some people giggling and chatting about the ball.
“Rumor has it that Ron Weasley is the most eligible bachelor yet! That is soooooo true! But he is taken by Hermione. I have to say, they do make a good and shy couple. They never show any affection in public, but everybody knows that they are deeply in love with each other! OH! He is soooooo dreamy!” said Luna.
“Really? Man, Luna, I never knew I liked Hermione!” said Ron and he had a hint of anger in his tone.
“Oh, um, Ron! Parvati told me! Parvati and Lavender know everything! Please don't hurt me” said Luna and then she ducked and whimpered.
“I'm not gonna hurt you! Why would I hurt an adoring fan?” said Ron mockingly.
“I'm not an `adoring fan' anymore! I just think everybody is cute! I may be a year younger than you, but that doesn't mean I can't defend myself!” said Luna in a cold tone.
A/N I know this chapter is the shortest chapter you've read in your life. But, do you like it? It was just an idea that popped into my head! Oh and it is multiple ships. It isn't focused on just one ship! Review and I'll write more!
