Serenity followed James into the water. She dunked her head in and tasted the saltiness of the ocean water. She came back up to the surface, feeling refreshed. If there was one thing she loved, it was water."I love the water," James muttered, ruffling his black hair with his hand. Serenity smiled to herself as she realized how much he looked like Sirius. Serenity splashed him with the water.
"Hey!" He exclaimed. He pushed the water towards her with full force. It hit her square in the face. Serenity laughed, and swam a few feet away from him.
"You can't reach me from here," she laughed.
"I can if I swim forward," James retorted. He swam towards Serenity and then splashed her headfirst. Serenity put her head under the water to prevent her face from getting soaked.
"Okay, let's call it a draw."
James laughed, and the two of them stared at each other, their faces above the water. James looked down and felt his heart pick up speed as he stared at Serenity's bikini. He looked back up at Serenity, and realized she was staring somewhere else. He turned around and saw that her gaze was fixed on his oldest brother. Sirius was laughing and teaching Heaven to stand on a surfboard.
Serenity looked away from Sirius, and realized that James had figured out what she was looking at. Serenity bit her lip. "It's not like that… I'm not, I don't-"
"It really doesn't matter," James cut in. For some reason, he felt a little angry at Serenity. He didn't even know why, but some part of him wanted to strangle Sirius for existing.
"No, it does," Serenity told him softly. She sighed. "I know there's really no point. It's not like Sirius is going to wake up someday and start fancying me. He could get any girl. He would obviously pick someone a lot prettier and more experienced than me."
"Sirius is three years older than you," James muttered. "And you are very pretty, Serenity." James blushed slightly, realizing what he had said.
"Thanks James." Serenity gave him a small smile. "You're right, Sirius is too mature for me… but that doesn't mean I still don't like him."
James shrugged. "I get it. I just don't want you to get hurt."
"I won't. Don't worry about me."
They smiled at each other for a few moments in silence, before James cleared his throat.
"Want to go back to the shore? I've had enough swimming for today." Serenity nodded, and the two of them headed back towards the shore. They were standing so close together, that occasionally, their hands would brush. James took a deep breath and the two of them walked towards Orion and Lilith silently.

Ginny Weasley-Malfoy crossed her fingers, hoping her husband wouldn't get mad at her. She had received an invitation to go to Palm Springs for the summer from Ron. Although she didn't really talk to Ron much anymore, she couldn't pass up a free trip to California. Ginny knew, however, that Draco would hate the idea. She didn't really know how to tell him about it since she had already kind of agreed to the trip.
"Gin, I'm home."
Ginny turned around and bit her lip. Draco leaned in and kissed her. Ginny felt her heart thump faster. She wrapped her arms around her husband's neck, and kissed him passionately.
"Someone is getting feisty today," Draco commented after he pulled away from her. Ginny gave him a half-hearted smile.
"I actually have something kind of big to ask you," Ginny muttered, refusing to meet Draco's eye. Draco's brow lowered.
"What is it?"
Ginny sighed, and then swallowed. "How would you like an expense-free trip to Palm Springs for the summer?"
Draco wasn't buying it. "What's the catch?"
Ginny tried to kiss Draco, but Draco backed off.
"Ginny?" he asked, anger showing in his voice. Ginny sighed, realizing she had to tell him.
"My brother was made Minister of Magic and he's inviting us to go to Palm Springs for the rest of the summer."
Ginny waited for Draco to say something, but he just stood there. A few moments later, he opened his mouth to speak.
"I don't like the heat," Draco answered back flatly.
"We wouldn't have to leave the hotel room," Ginny told him suggestively. She leaned in for a kiss, and this time, Draco let her kiss him.
Draco sighed. "Red, you know I don't bloody like your brother… or his wife, for the matter of fact. In fact, I really don't like anything to do with his entire family."
"I'm his sister," Ginny reminded him, "I'm part of his family."
"You're part of my family." Draco flicked his tongue on her skin. Ginny felt her insides swoon. She loved it when he did that.
"Draco… please." When Draco didn't look convinced, Ginny added, "It would mean a lot to me. We haven't really had much time to spend with Drasha or Luke. Drasha is eighteen now. She has a job coaching a Quidditch team. She's not going have time to spend with us anymore. This summer is our last chance."
Ginny could tell that Draco was starting to ease up. She smiled to herself. She loved being able to talk Draco into anything. Of course, she wasn't about to admit that to him. She couldn’t risk damaging his high ego.
"Fine," Draco grumbled, "But you better make it up to me, Ginny." Ginny slung her arm around Draco's neck and kissed him possessively on his lips.
"Thanks," she breathed, kissing him again. They continued to kiss until they heard the front door open. Ginny pulled away from Draco, and headed into the foyer to see whom it was.
"Luke… Drasha…" Ginny muttered, thoroughly surprised that her two children were at home.
"Hi Draco," Drasha greeted her dad, completely ignoring Ginny. Ginny watched her daughter go up to Draco and give him a kiss on his cheek, feeling very hurt.
Draco raised an eyebrow. "Call me dad, please, Drasha… and say hello to your mother as well."
Drasha's face filled with twisted disgust. "Ginevra." She gave Ginny a curt nod and then disappeared into the house.
"Hey honey," Ginny muttered to Luke as he gave her a hug. She tried not to look too hurt by Drasha, but Ginny knew that it was pretty obvious how she was feeling.
"Hey mum. The band is taking a break for the summer, so I'll be able to spend more time at home," he told her, squeezing her tightly. He went over towards Draco and gave him a quick hug as well.
"Luke," Draco greeted, obviously glad to see his seventeen year old son at home. Luke gave his dad a small grin.
"I'm glad the band is taking a break…" Ginny's face broke into a smile, "because we're going to Palm Springs for most of the summer!" Luke looked at his father for confirmation, and Draco nodded. Luke's face broke into a smirk that made him look exactly like his father.
"I'm guessing you pressured Dad until he gave in, didn't you Mum?" Luke asked laughing. Ginny gave her husband a small smile.
"I can be quite convincing when I want to."
"When are we leaving?" Luke asked, looking back and forth between his two parents. Draco shrugged and gave Ginny a questioning look.
"Monday."
"Who's going?" Luke asked his mother, not that he'd know anyone she named. He had never met any of his relatives except for his grandparents. Grandma Molly and Grandpa Arthur were wonderful people, but Narcissa and Lucius… Luke shuddered slightly. He hated having anything to do with them. Drasha, on the other time, worshiped Lucius.
Ginny swallowed, avoiding Draco's glance. Luke could tell that this was a conversation he shouldn't be apart of. Luke gave his mom an apologetic look before heading into his bedroom.
Draco turned to Ginny, and Ginny walked into their bedroom. Draco followed her, still glaring. "Is there something you're keeping from me?"
"You already agreed," Ginny reminded him, trying to stall for time. She didn't want to tell him that the Potter's were coming to Palm Springs.
"Ginny," Draco told her warningly.
Ginny sighed. "The Potter's are coming also." The disgust on Draco's face was distinct. His jaw dropped and his eyes widened. His features slowly turned angry.
"The fuc-"
"Draco," Ginny muttered, her eyes flickering towards Luke's bedroom. Draco sighed.
"The effing Potters are coming as well? Scarhead, Mudblood, and their idiotic children?"
Ginny crossed her arms and glared at Draco. Although she loved Draco, at times, she hated how much he hated her friends. It seemed like the only non-Slytherin people he liked were Luke and herself.
Draco kissed Ginny. "I'm sorry, Red… if you want to go on this disastrous vacation, I guess I have to respect that."
Ginny's face broke into a smile, and she wrapped her arms around Draco's neck. "I love you," she muttered, kissing him passionately. He kissed her back with equal aggression.
"I love you so much that I'm agreeing to come on this bloody trip with you." Ginny smiled, and then covered Draco's mouth with hers, preventing him from saying anything else.

Capella Chang headed into her flat just as the phone began to ring. She dropped her keys and mad a dash towards the phone. On the fifth ring, she snatched the phone and placed it to her ear.
"Hello?" she asked into the phone, panting.
"Hey Cap! Are you too busy for your sister?" Capella grinned, realizing it was Heaven on the other line. She sat down on the small bed and held the receiver up to her ear.
"Hey Heaven," Capella greeted her sister, "Of course I'm not too busy for you. I always have time for my favorite sister."
"I'm your only sister, Capella," Heaven laughed slightly, "How's everything? And how's the boyfriend?"
Capella smiled to herself and stared at the photograph of her and her boyfriend, Darien Krum. He played for Bulgaria as a chaser, and was probably one of the best Quidditch players in the world. In addition, he was very charming and good-looking.
"Darien and I are doing better than ever. Our three month anniversary is coming up on Tuesday, and I don't know what to do for him." Capella sighed, feeling slightly exasperated. She had tried to come up with something amazing for Darien all week, but was completely brain dead.
"I know the perfect thing!" Heaven gushed, "It's actually what I called about. You will never believe this."
"What?" Capella's mood brightened slightly. If Heaven was so excited, it had to be something good.
"You have been invited to an all-expense trip to Palm Springs for a month courtesy of Uncle Ron."
Capella gasped. "That's right! He was made minister. Wow, Palm Springs? All the way in California?" Capella smiled to herself as she imagined herself spending her summer in the sun. She had the summer off because she only taught during the school year, so everything worked out perfectly. Except…
"What about Darien?" Capella asked her sister.
"Bring him along, of course." Heaven said it as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. Capella grinned. A month-long vacation to Palm Springs with the best boyfriend in the world was probably the best anniversary present.
"I'll see you on Monday. I need to pack my bags."
A/N: Okay, so the vacation itself will be starting soon. Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. This story is still getting set up. Don't forget to leave a review =) Tell me if you like any possible shippings yet.
