~ Bond of Marriage ~

PROLOGUE

It was the time when the Royal house of , with the aid of the Royal house of , conquered the whole of with their strongest magical and physical force. Although much blood spilled during the wars, flourished. That was when the two Royal clans decided to betroth their heirs. A bond of marriage that would ensure peace between and .

Harry James Potter, Prince and heir to the throne of , was betrothed to the Princess of Wales, Hermione Granger, its Heiress, at the age of ten and nine the latter.

'King Simon Granger and Queen Juliana Granger of have arrived my lord.' Informed the servant with his head bowed.

'Lead them to the solar, we will attend to them in a minute. That is all.' The dark haired man, known as King James Potter of said with an air of authority. ‘When the servant left, he stood up from where he was seated and with a large grin on his striking face, turned to the lady who’s sitting beside him; her beautiful green eyes sparkling like diamonds.  He bowed at the Lady known as Queen Lily Potter, originally from the noble family of Evans.  ‘My Queen, our in-laws have come, shall we go welcome them warmly at the solar dearest?’

'We definitely shall Milord' she said as she curtsied and smiled sweetly at his antics.

'Liana!' Queen Lily called as soon as she saw Queen Juliana. 'it is so nice to see you. How have you been my dear friend?'

'It’s nice to see you too Lil! I've been great, Simon and I just got back from our tours.' Juliana replied excitedly. Though they are queens, when the two of them sees each other, memories of their childhood together comes flooding back and their titles forgotten.

'really Liana?! Oh how nice!' Lily exclaimed then turned to the men who were now talking separately from them. 'so where did you take her Simon? Did you bring Hermione too during your tours?'

                'my dear Liana didn't want her to come unfortunately. She said our little girl must stay at the castle, her studies and lessons must not be disturbed.' Simon said while grinning like a boy.

                'is that so liana? Oh the poor child, left all by herself.' Lily said dramatically with amusement in her eyes while the men chuckled as Juliana turned beet red. 'If I had known better, I'd say you’ve planned it all along!' she added then laughed with the men at Juliana's discomfort.

'oh stop it Lil! Besides Simon, Hermione's no longer a little girl. She is now a lady, she's already seventeen, actually turning eighteen on the nineteenth of September. Only a month to go from now.'

'Brilliant! Time really flies quickly!' James exclaimed in delight. He was particularly fond of their child, the daughter he never had and of course being his son's wife-to-be. 'It was only last month when you three were here when our Harry turned eighteen. And now yours too.'

'That is also the reason why we came so suddenly, besides the fact that my wife misses your wife and the fact that the Great White Wizard Dumbeldore has foreseen something that will affect the future of our kingdoms.' said Simon, the seriousness of the topic changing his jolly mood.

Dumbeldore was now the Greatest White Wizard in their time since the death of Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, Godric Gryffindor and Salazar Slytherine, the four Great White Wizards of Great Britain, although there where rumors of Salazar Slytherine turning to a Dark Wizard before he died.

James held Lily's hand tightly as he led their in-laws to the Green Turquoise tower on the north side of the castle where the assembly room was located.
