Return to me
2. Chapter 2
Hey! Thank you so much for the reviews, they really cheered me up and I know you guys have been waiting to see what happens next so here it is people, Chapter two! Enjoy!.
Remember nothing belongs to me, they are just my toys to play with then I give them straight back to their rightful owners!
“Is it just me or does something not seem right?” Ron asked as he looked toward the houseful of people that came back after the funeral.
“You are right Ron, something isn’t right but I don’t know what it is.” Dumbledore agreed.
“Why won’t someone tell us what happened to Harry?” Ginny demanded, all the adults looked at each other and sighed. They knew that the Weasley’s kids won’t give up till they get their answers.
“You better sit down for this.” Dumbledore stated which caused Ron, Ginny, Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred and George all to sit down.
All the adults sat down and looked toward Dumbledore as he tried to process his thoughts.
“Well you know Harry was killed but the problem, we do not know who he was killed by, we can only assume that it was a death eater but the problem is that there were no death eater mark over the body which furthered our puzzlement.” Dumbledore explained.
“Why would anyone but Voldemort and the death eater would want to kill Harry?” Ginny asked.
“Harry was more powerful than anyone else, when he would have reached a certain age or reached a certain level of emotion, he would have become extremely powerful and unstoppable.” Lupin explained which stunned the kids.
“Bloody hell.” Ron exclaimed hoarsely and the rest nodded.
“Where Hermione? She should be here to hear this.” Bill asked while looking around. The hair stood up on the back of his neck once more.
“Hermione.” Ron whispered as there was a tapping noise at the door.
Everyone spun around to locate the sound, Lupin let the owl in, and it dropped the letter before flying out again. Everyone looked at the letter puzzled about it.
“Who would give us a letter?” Ginny asked as Molly picked up the letter only for it to pull itself out of her hand and formed into a shape of a mouth.
“Here all there in the area!” a voice boomed.
“What the hell…” Ron asked as everyone stood up, it was not a voice they knew.
“I have Hermione Granger and if you want her, well you better get her soon because she doesn’t have long to live.” The voice cackled before the letter busted into black flame.
“Why would Voldemort take Hermione? Harry’s dead!” Ginny demanded.
“That wasn’t Voldemort.” Dumbledore explained and Ron nodded in agreement.
“No, Voldemort’s voice is a little higher than that, there’s someone else out there.” Ron explained, everyone looked to where the letter was then looked at each other, wondering what to do.
Hermione shivered as she huddled herself into a corner of her cell as she looked out of the window toward the half moon.
She was scared, there was no denying that but at the same time she was ready to accept her death if it meant being with Harry.
There was a sound outside her door which caused her to look toward it.
“Hello?” Hermione called out, the noise stop for a minute then started up again, she just muffled a sob as she turned back to the window and prayed for someone to find her or that her death would be quick so she could join Harry where ever he was.
“Why did you have to leave me Harry? Why?” Hermione sobbed as she buried her face in her arms.
“How long?” a male voice asked.
“Not long, Master want to get himself ready before surprising her.” The second one replied and they both chuckled with delight as they thought about what was coming.
“We need to scry for Hermione as soon as we can, I fear the worst will come tonight.” Dumbledore ordered as Molly grabbed a map and Lupin grabbed a crystal (A/N we don’t know how they look for people so I’m just borrowing this from Charmed, sorry for any inconvenience.) they place the map on the table while Ron grabbed a hair from Hermione’s brush and handed it to Molly.
Molly placed the hair in a small bowl while adding some blue/purple liquid in it which began to smoke. Lupin placed the crystal in the bowl then placed it over the map, swinging it around till it landed on a place.
Harry was running, he was running really fast that he was just a blur, he blended in with the darkness so that no one could see him.
Soon he stopped outside Privet Drive, he stormed up the pathway and the door blew off its hinges, waking up anyone who was inside the house.
“Who’s there!” Vernon demanded as he came running down the stairs with a gun with Petunia and Dudley trailing after him. “I warn you that I am armed so you better….Harry!” He yelped, startled at the sight of his dead nephew standing in front of him.
Harry just cocked his head to the side lightly.
“Hello uncle, I’m home.” Harry hissed as he waved his hand, the whole family floated upward till they were pinned to the ceiling.
“You get us down now boy!” Vernon threatened as Harry rushed up the stairs, he turned to face the family.
“Or what?” Harry asked. “I’m dead remember, there’s nothing you can do.” Harry reminded them as he slammed open his bedroom’s door, he grabbed his broom before going outside once more and flying off to Hogwart to get the answers he needed.
Hermione looked toward the door as it opened and held her breath as the guest stepped in.
“Hello Hermione.” He smiled, Hermione gasped.
“You?” Hermione asked, her eyes filled with fear as her blood ran cold.
I know I’m nasty for leaving it here but I promise the next one will be up soon.
