Yeah, I know, I hate these thingies too.

Anyway, this fic is not abandoned and no, I did not mean to leave you with that cliffhanger.  Buuuuut…well, I’m going to for a week.  That means it will be at least a week until I can update.  I wish I could have updated earlier, but my beta-reader is busy and hasn’t had time to review Chapter 10. So hopefully I will get that back within the week so when I get back I can update.  I really don’t want to upload chapters full of errors anymore.  But it is written, as is Chapter 11. 

So, until then I’ll see ya ^_^ and as a peace offering I wrote “Fate”, a one-shot ficlet that I hope you read until I can update this.  And hey, when I get back maybe have learned a few British phrases besides “Bloody Hell!”
