Ginevra Malfoy
2. Chapter 2
Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or his friends. Blah blah blah blah.
A/N: Alright, I feel the need to get this across. I KNOW THAT THE FIRST CHAPTER IS NOT AS GOOD AS SUPERSCARS!!!!!!!!!!! *whew* Alright, I really to welcome the fact that many people told me to watch out for superscar, and that I have no permission, blah blah blah, I have just recently talked to her, THIS SOTRY IS MEANT TO BE A BIT OF AN AU ON HERS AND THE FIRST CHAPTER IS KINDA TO COMPARE! I’m not trying to sound bitchy when I say I’m not going to change it. (at least for now) I may in the future, but I kinda like the way I set it up. I am not going to copy anymore of her chapters and I defiantly am not trying to make myself out to say that my story is better than hers, Because I know it’s not and probably never will be. Thank superscar for e-mailing me and commenting. Alright, now that that is done, I would like to thank you all for commenting. ^^ Oh and thank you to Jamie, for improving my self eestem.
“Oh, and one more thing, I hope you don't think this version is any better than scar's, cos come on, as a writer you just can't compare to her, sorry love.”
I would like to express again that I know I can’t compare to her, so if anyone else says this (besides scar cuz she’s allowed to) then I will have to forward this to one of my lovely beta’s Ashely, cuz she said I could and she will chew you out. <3333333333333 And the same goes for any flames. ^^
THANKS TO ALL MY BETAS! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!
Ginny scowled as she walked up to The Burrow. She could not help congratulating herself for hinting to her family the relationship between her and Draco. Months before she even had this little dilemma, she was seeing someone and it was getting serious; at that time she had been dating Seamus. She never told them who it was because they had broken up (after a year) before she got around to telling them. Ginny took a deep breath before entering into the home that she had grown up in.
“Mum! I’m home!” She yelled and kicked off her trainers. Her mother walked over to her daughter and hugged her tightly. She then held her daughter at arms length and looked her in the eyes.
“So what did the headmaster want?” She asked studying her daughter. Molly had no clue as to what Dumbledore would want with her daughter; she hadn’t played a big part in the war. (which btw Harry killed voldie) Ginny looked away from her mother’s eyes.
“Um, well since everyone is going to be here for dinner I will announce it then.” She said trying her best to muster up some kind of courage. Molly nodded and led her daughter to the kitchen and they got dinner ready.
About an hour later, red-haired men began to pop in and take their seats at the dinner table. Ginny and Molly set out the plates of food and everyone began to eat. After a few minutes Molly turned to her daughter.
“So what did Dumbledore want?” Molly asked. Ginny shifted in her seat under everyone’s gaze.
“Well, he…I mean…well...” Ginny stuttered, keeping her eyes downcast.
“What is it Gin? Spit it out.” Ron said before taking a huge bite out of his bun.
“Alright, remember when I told you all that I was seeing someone and it was getting serious?” Ginny began avoiding everyone’s eyes.
“Yea, we do. But what does this have to do with Dumbledore?” Bill asked watching his sister squirm in her seat.
“Well,Ihavebeenseeingdracomalfoyanddumbledoresaidhe’dmarryusandidontcarewhatyousaycuzilovehimandthatsfinal.”Ginny said quickly. She felt heat rise to her cheeks.
“What did you say Gin?” Fred asked, clearly amused. Ginny took a deep breath.
“Well, I have been, um seeing uh, well Dumbledore said he’d marry us and I love him and I don’t care what you say because I love him.” Ginny said slowly. Molly squealed.
“Oh Ginny! You’re in love! Well who is it?” She asked. Ginny looked at her.
“I already told you.” Ginny said confused.
“No you didn’t, you said Dumbledore was marrying you and that you love him.” Ron said with forced calmness.
“Well, um okay. Please don’t get mad, but it’s…it’s.”
“Me.” A voice said from the doorway of the kitchen. The Weasley’s all turned to see who it was. Ron looked ready to kill, as did all of the Weasley males except Fred and George who looked amused.
Ron growled. “Seeing your face has now spoiled my meal.”
“Why Weasley,” Draco began and walked over to Ginny who was blushing furiously. “I don’t think that’s the kind of attitude you should show to your future brother-in-law.” Draco put his arm around Ginny and placed a kiss on her cheek. Ginny tried hard not to pull herself away from him. Forcing herself calm she smiled.
“Um, you all know Draco Malfoy?” She asked in what she hoped was a sweet voice.
“WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? DOES HE HAVE YOU UNDER SOME KIND OF SPELL?” Ron bellowed while standing up. Molly stood up too and forced her youngest son back down to his seat. Arthur, Charlie, Bill and Percy all glared at Molly.
“I will not have my only daughter marrying a Malfoy.” Arthur grit out. Molly glared right back at him.
“You have no say in who your daughter loves Arthur.” Molly ordered then turned to Ginny and Draco who looked shocked at Molly statement. “If you two want to get married you have my blessing.” Molly smiled at the two of them who stared back at her in shock.
“Um thank you mum.” She said finally. Draco nodded slowly.
“You do not have my blessing Ginevra Weasley.” Arthur bellowed. Molly shot him a steely glare.
“If I remember correctly, I had to fight against my family to marry a certain Weasley.” Molly said in a dangerously calm voice. Arthur spluttered.
“Well that was different-“
“No it wasn’t! And you know it Arthur!” Arthur looked at Draco and Ginny who were trying very hard to look as though they were in love. It must have worked because Arthur finally said.
“Alright you have my blessing too.” Arthur avoided most of his son’s eyes.
“That’s it? No fight? You can’t let her do this father!” Percy yelled.
“Don’t be such a wuss and stand up!” Bill said.
“Don’t let her go dad!” Charlie put his two cents in.
“THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! SHE CAN’T MARRY HIM!” Ron bellowed. Molly glared at her four sons.
“That’s enough. Fred and George don’t seem to have a problem with them being together.” Molly turned to them. “Right?” She asked.
“Well mum.” Fred began.
“We don’t because.”
“As you know very well know.”
“The Malfoy’s are extremely rich.”
“And we know a good opportunity when we see one.”
“So we say.”
“Yay for Gin.” They said together. Draco smirked at them. He could get to like these two.
“What do you mean by opportunity?” Draco asked innocently.
“We aren’t going to play around the bush. Mal…um…Draco. We want you to donate to our shop and experiments.” Fred said.
“FRED! GEORGE! DON’T BE SO RUDE!” Molly screeched causing everyone to shudder.
“It’s quite alright Mrs. Weasley. I don’t mind.” Draco said politely. He would do anything to get someone, besides the parents, on his side. Ginny snickered and Draco shot her a glare. Fred and George grinned at him.
“Would you like to join us for dinner Draco dear?” Molly asked finally noticing Draco’s discomfort. Draco grinned at his future wife who looked as though she would rather be anywhere else except here.
“I would love to Mrs. Weasley.” He responded as Molly summoned up a chair.
If anyone has any ideas or anything they have this story don’t be afraid to say something, I am open to suggestion. (in fact I welcome it) *waits for comments*
