“But why do I have to come?” Ginny scowled as Draco shoved yet another dress at her.

“As I said before…” Draco shoved another green dress at her. “My mother needs to meet you.” Silver dress. “So suck it up! I met your family.” Draco shoved a pink dress at her then examined it again. “What do you think of this one?” Ginny sighed and shook her head; Draco tossed it.

“Why do I have to get dressed up?” Ginny whined, eyeing the pile of dresses she was holding as if they were burning her skin.

“Why do you have to ask stupid questions? One would think you don’t love me!” Draco smirked.

“That’s because I don’t.” She glared and Draco held his hand to his heart theatrically.

“Then why ever did you agree to marry me?” he asked as if she didn’t know the answer.

“Because-because-“she struggled to form a coherent answer.

“You wanted to see if the rumors of me being, ahem, ‘bigger than my wand was too much curiosity for you. I understand your distress love and will be happy to show after we find you a whole new wardrobe.” Draco said seriously. Ginny dropped everything she was holding into a pile on the floor.

“WHAT?! A WHOLE NEW WADROBE?” She screamed. They began to draw stares from the other customers.

“Of course, a Malfoy does not go second best.” Draco scowled and signaled a sales lady over to them.  “We’ll take it all.” He smirked.

“Hello, it’s a pleasure to meet you Miss Weasley.” Nacrissa Malfoy greeted as Draco and Ginny walked in. Ginny noticed Nacrissa’s smile didn’t quite reach her ice blue eyes. Nacrissa planted a kiss on Draco’s forehead. “I’m so glad you brought someone with you. It gets awful lonely in this big mansion with just the house elves.” Nacrissia led them to a huge dinning hall and Ginny gasped.

“Oh my! It’s beautiful!” She breathed. There was a gold chandelier hanging above the table and an extravagant long auburn colored table with a green and silver table cover already filled with food. Her mouth watered at the sight. Nacrissa glided over to the head of the table and sat down. She motioned for them to join her. Ginny took a seat on the right of Nacrissa and Draco sat on the left of his mother.

“So, Draco dear what is the reason for gracing tonight’s dinner with Miss Weasley’s presence.” She said silkily. Ginny quickly looked down to avoid Nacrissa’s eyes.

“Well mother, Miss Weasley and I—” Draco began and took a hold of her hand from across the table. Ginny decided to accept the tingly feeling in her stomach as disgust. “Mother, Ginevra and I well… we are to be married.” He squeezed her hand and Ginny forced a smile at the shocked look on Mrs. Malfoy’s face. Draco and Ginny looked at Nacrissa waiting for an answer (Maybe a temper tantrum, Ginny thought). Draco began to feel desperate. Letting go of Ginny’s hand he began to wave it in front of his mother’s dead looking eyes. “Umm, mother, are you okay?” He asked. Nacrissa turned her head slowly to look in his eyes.

“What did I do to deserve this Draco?” She asked sadly. Draco’s eyes widened in shock.“You don’t understand? SHE’S A MUGGLE LOVING WHORE!” She screamed at her son. Draco glared at her and stood up.

“Apologize to my fiancée, mother!” Draco said seriously as Nacrissa glared at him.

“How could you do this to me?” She asked viciously, her eyes bright with anger. Ginny saw a flicker of fear cross his eyes.

“I’m sorry Miss Weasley. At least you are an improvement on the rest of your…family.” She growled through clenched teeth and Ginny was reminded of a lioness. Draco gave his mother a calculating look before sitting back down. Ginny sat straighter in her seat, as not to anger the Mrs. Malfoy again. “Your hair isn’t that hideous pumpkin orange color; it’s a nice blood red.” She said languidly as if to try and compliment her (not that it worked or anything); Ginny shuddered inside. She liked to think of her hair cherry red, not blood red. The three of them ate in silence for the rest of dinner. When they finished Nacrissa got up and beckoned the couple to follow her. Nacrissa stopped in a large green and silver room that was filled with…

“MUM! WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU BRING GINNY AND I HERE?” Draco yelled, staring in horror at the stacks of photo albums. Nacrissa glared at him then motioned for Ginny to sit by her on a lavishly decorated couch. Nacrissa opened the photo album and pointed to an albino looking baby.

“This is Draco when he was just 3 month old.” She sighed. Draco stared at his mother in horror as Ginny began to giggle. Nacrissa smiled her first true smile at Ginny and patted her lightly on the knee. “Maybe you and I will get along after all Miss Weasley.” She smirked and turned through the pages of Draco’s pompous and overly dressed life.

I hope you enjoyed this chapter. (But you prolly didn’t because it is very boring and short, I’m so sorry!) Once again, if you have ideas, I’m always open!
