2. I Love You
Previously…..
Harry moved onto the next picture, but he immediately dropped it at one glance. He couldn’t believe what he was looking at! He had never seen this picture, and he never remembered being in that place!
Harry froze at the sight. It was taken from the top. It was the body of his mother! Not dead, just sleeping, but it was him that he was looking at. He was a small baby, awake, and his father must’ve been the person taking the picture. Harry was moving around, he didn’t have the scar on him face yet.
Harry smiled at the picture.
But he realized something. WHO HAS BEEN TAKING THESE PICTURES? Nobody was there when they were making snowmen, or in the Boy’s Dormitory. What is going on here?
Harry looked at the back of the picture of his mum and saw something he thought he would never see.
S.O.B.
“Sirius?” whispered Harry. Tears started to fall down his face. The last time he cried was at Dumbledore’s funeral. Now Harry remembered. He remembered a black head and flash light and he saw his father cooking something while his mother was sleeping. It was Lily’s birthday.
But the other pictures were taken by Ginny. The picture in the boy’s dormitory was probably taken by Scabbers. Harry remembered a flash, that was the camera. Scabbers thought that if he had evidence that Neville was bad and working for Sirius, he could weasel his way out of anything! Harry’s fists balled up in anger. His knuckles turned white and there was a sudden, but gentle, knock on the door.
“Come in,” said Harry.
“Harry?” said Hermione.
“Yes?” replied Harry.
“I just want to tell you something before we leave. I bet you already know this after-erm-yesterday, but…I love you,” said Hermione.
Harry froze, he had expected it, but he didn’t think she would say it now. They had shared a kiss last night and Harry knew what it meant. But, why she said this at this time was so out of the blue.
“If anything happens, I just wanted you to know that,” said Hermione. She thought he didn’t love her back because he didn’t say anything and she got up to leave.
Harry hastily grabbed her wrist.
“Don’t go!” said Harry.
“Harry…” said Hermione, but Harry cut her off as he pulled her into a beautiful, simple, kiss.
“I love you,” said Harry.
“Let’s go.”
Then, they embarked on their adventure.
