Chapter 6: A time Alone
Before moments of when Hermione had fainted, Harry was thinking if she could go to the ball with him. He was hoping now that he loved Hermione, she would go with him.
Harry was hoping Hermione wasn't in a coma; he had gotten a wet cloth to try to see to wake up Hermione.
"Hermione?" Harry said, a soothing a voice had been put up with his words.
Hermione had slowly opened her eyes, and for moments, she had been taking her hand and had been rubbing the wetness out her eyes. She had moved her head, and was now looking at Harry standing there, and Harry could see the pale face on her.
Hermione took off the freezing, wet cloth Harry had placed on her, and begun to sit up, with still her eyes wet and her face pale.
"Hermione, are you alright? You fainted" Harry said curiously.
"It was just something. If you don't mind, will you please leave I need a minute alone" Hermione sobbed.
"Why?" Harry looked deeply into Hermione's eyes, just thinking why she was begging him to go away.
"Get out!" Hermione had been screaming at Harry to leave at once, she almost thought she would have to use force or witchcraft.
Harry refused to leave, and noticed that just looking at Hermione had him to know that she wanted him gone. Harry turned away and left the room.
Hermione kept looking till Harry left. When Harry left, she turned her head swiftly fast to the other direction, and started running up to her bed in tears.
Hermione had now felt as if she did not want to wake up from faint. She didn't want Harry to now wake her up.
Hermione mostly didn't understand what happened, and she wanted to know the truth. She had made her way to head master's office, Dumbledore, she had hidden her face from everyone to let not let the students know of the tears she had.

She made her way up the stairs and into Dumbledore's office.
"Aw, Ms. Granger, care to join me?" Dumbledore had a happy smile on his face with joy to see a student.
"Sure, but what I came for, I had to know about the letter you sent me" Hermione stared at Dumbldore waiting for an answer.
"Very well, I am sorry I had to send you that letter" Dumbledore got out of his seat, and slowly moved towards Hermione. "Yes I would feel of fate as well. But, because of this fate, you do not have to be in school for a week.
"No! That's okay; I'll just take one day off. I just need to know the entire truth"
"What was written on that letter, it was the most of it, no more I can tell you. Your parents wanted to tell you, they knew you would be accepted to Hogwarts, there is another part I can not say that they wished to tell you, they told me if it was ever to come to this, I would be the one to tell, though they told me to wait to the seventh year of Hogwarts for you"
"Why"
"I can not say, don't worry only one year to wait"
"Not to be rude but, I'm in this petrified moment of my parents death and you can't tell me a bloody thing!" Hermione was screaming with her lungs, and was furious to not have all the answers.
"I can say no more" Dumbledore turned away, and immediately left the room, not looking back.
***
Hermione started her way back to the common room she had left.
And once again Harry passed her looking at her to know what was wrong. Harry pulled Hermione aside and spoke.
"Hermione, are you alright? I'm worried about you"
"I don't need to talk to someone right now" Hermione turned away, and left Harry stranded in the halls.
"Hermione!" Hermione kept on walking giving, Harry no answer.
Harry feared for Hermione.
***
Ron was walking along the way Hermione had been and Ron walked right into Hermione's face. "Do you have a date to the ball yet?"
Hermione had given Ron the same answer as she gave Harry. "I don't need to talk to someone right now"
Harry had thought if no one was there to talk to him, he might as well go back to the common room.
***
Hermione had something she did not realize. After she screamed at Harry for him to leave, she left the letter on the desk in the middle of the room.
Once Harry had opened the door to the common room, he saw the note Hermione had read. Harry got very interested to know what the letter said. So… Harry made his way to the desk, and started to open the letter Hermione had read. As he read he noticed a bit of scare in him, and most of the words he was reading he thought shouldn't have been there. After he finished the letter he also knew, what he just read terrified him. He had now known why Hermione wanted to be alone.
Harry felt that if Ron was his and Hermione's best friend, he should know, and after knowing what had happened, he didn't want Ron fouling around with Hermione at a time like this.
***
Harry had tried looking everywhere.
Harry had seen Ron and Luna Sitting together in the cold snow outside of Hogwarts School. Harry pulled Ron aside, away from Luna.
"Hey what do you want?" Ron was urging to get Harry off of him.
"Ron, listen very closely, what I'm about to tell you, you must promise not to tell anyone else. Promise?"
"Okay Harry, what is it?"
"Ron, I don't know how to tell you this, but Hermione's parents died, in a car crash"
"Oh no" Ron felt frightened as Harry did before.
"What are we going to do?" Ron asked as if still frightened.
"We just need to keep calm with Hermione now" Harry said.
"Okay"
