Chapter 3.

"Hermione, are you ready?!" Harry called upstairs.

"Almost!" she called back.

"I want to leave in a few minutes!" Harry said.

"I'm coming I'm coming," she said walking downstairs.

He and Hermione stepped in the fire and disappeared in the flames.

A few seconds later they arrived at Albus' office. They stepped out of the fireplace and saw Albus sitting at his desk.

"Harry, Hermione how good to see you," He said smiling.

"Hey Albus, how're you doing?" Harry asked

"I'm fine, just normal school business," Albus said, "Why don't you two sit down," Harry and Hermione sat down.

"Want some tea? And then go for a walk?" Albus asked filling three cups with his wand.

"Good idea," Hermione said. They drunk their tea and then left the office with Albus.

"Luckily for you Harry the school is not open yet otherwise you wouldn't be able to walk freely," Albus chuckled. Harry gave a deep sigh.

They first went to McGonagall's office who was very happy to see them. They had a little chat about school stuff and the latest news on Transfiguration. At least Hermione was enjoying herself. Then they went to some other old teachers of Harry and Hermione. They cared to avoid Trelawney and…

"So do you want to see Severus?" Albus asked.

"You aren't serious are you?," Harry said surprised

Albus ignored the question and hummed softly under his breath.

"So anything up lately? Disturbing news or something?" Hermione asked.

"Well…now you ask it.." Albus started. At that moment Peeves came floating by with water balloons.

"Potty wee Potty, back at school" Peeves taunted throwing one water balloon. Harry ducked away and the water balloon snapped on the ground.

"Peeves, please go away," said Albus. Peeves who hadn't noticed him before forget how to float into air and fell on the ground.

"Of course headmaster sir…" Peeves stuttered. He flew up and away from the hallway they were.

"What were you saying?" Harry standing up.

"Let's go outside, I don't want to be interrupted again," said Albus seriously. Harry and Hermione nodded and they walked outside. The sun shined in their eyes. Harry looked over the terrain and saw the small hut where Hagrid used to live. It made him sad when he thought about his friend who was not there anymore. The hut who was now inhabited by Haggis McMutton, the new keeper of keys, seemed to be happy with his new owner. Harry looked away and walked towards the lake. They sat down there and Harry and Hermione looked at Albus who was deeply in thought.

"So, what's wrong?" Harry asked.

"Well, it seems that…"

"Headmaster, I have urgent news," a man said. Harry, Hermione and Albus turned around quickly and saw Severus Snape standing only a few feet away.

"What's wrong Severus?" asked Albus. Snape looked at Harry and Hermione and scowled.

"I do not think it's smart to let Potter and Granger hear it," Snape said.

"Everything you can say to me, you can also say to them Severus," Albus said calm.

"Very well then," Snape said narrowing his eyes looking disgusted.

"The stones are located, but not by us," he continued

"I expected that. How did you find out?" Albus asked. Harry looked at Hermione with a: What on earth are they talking about? Look.

"One of our spies who were watching them had a quick look at their plans but he had to flee, he barely survived" Snape said not sounding that he felt sorry for that.

"This is not good," said Albus with a tone of sadness in his voice

"We only know that one of the stones is in Egypt," Snape said.

"Which element?" Albus asked.

"We do not know," Snape said.

"Okay, Severus, go back to your office I will inform you later on your duties," Snape nodded and walked away

"Harry, Hermione come with me I have to ask you a favour," he continued.

They followed the long way back to his office and sat down. Albus walked to his seat but did not sat down. Instead he leaned on it looking directly at them

"I guess you don't have a clue about what Severus and I were talking, so let me enlighten you,"

He used his wand to darken the room and in the middle of the room a globe of the world appeared.

"What I am about to tell you can change the entire world. It could bring back the darkness there once was when Voldemort was on full power…."

A/N Sorry about the delay but school is killing me at the moment. I tried to improve the story a bit. As you already noticed I did not include anything from the sixth book in this story as I started it before I read the sixth book. So I guess that somethings might seem strange to you. Well I am still looking for a BETA so if you feel you are up to it leave me a message on the forums(same username)
