I am in awe of JK Rowling's wonderful talents. Her talents have made her lots of money and she would be able to pay loads of lawyers who would sue my ass if I tried to make money on this so I'm doing this for free.
CHAPTER FOUR
Welcome Home Harry
Harry awoke the next morning and looked around his room. He got washed and dressed and walked downstairs, ignoring the wails of Mrs Black's portrait. When he got into the kitchen, he saw Hermione and Ares sitting at the table.
`Good morning Harry,' said Ares.
`Morning,' said Harry.
`Sit, sit,' ushered Hermione, getting him a plate of breakfast.
`We have a lot of work to do. I have to get your Potions theory up by two grades, and both your Practical and Theory in both Charms and Transfiguration up to Outstanding in three weeks. Now, normally it would take a month's work of about an hour a day for each grade. So it would take us half a year, but we have three weeks which is about nine hours a day work everyday until you go back to Hogwarts. It can be done if you think you're up to it,' said Ares.
`I'm up to it,' said Harry.
`Okay, let's start with the least fun. Potions. Then we will do the other two Theories and then we will do the two practical,' said Ares, going out of the kitchen and the coming back in a minute later. He had three books.
`This is Intermediate O.W.L. Potions. We will use this until you are up into an E. Then we shall use this. Advanced O.W.L. Potions. We shall use this until you are into the O. Now, starting today we shall use this book. `All the Magical Ingredients you need for School Potions!' With this we shall cram all the little ingredients of Potions into your head and then we will get to work on how to make potions and the effects,' said Ares. With that settled Harry, Hermione and Ares worked, hours upon hours, until, three days latter, Harry knew every little ingredient, its appearance, texture and properties. Everything from Alihotsy leaves which causes hysteria to Troll perspiration which causes temporary paralysis. On the fourth day, Harry spent the entire day doing a test on every ingredient in the book. He got 97% on it. Hermione also did it and got 112%. On the fifth day, they decided to see what score Harry would get on a Theory test. After an hour, Ares took the test and graded it. Harry got an E on it. They decided that they would go quickly through the Intermediate O.W.L. Potions book and quickly they did. They finished it by the end of the day. The following day, Ares started him on the Outstanding level Potions. It once again took three days. On the ninth day, Ares gave him an O.W.L. paper. Harry scored 92% on it. It was an Outstanding. Just to make sure, Ares gave him another two papers, and Harry scored 91% and 96%. Harry then did a final one and Ares didn't mark it. Harry didn't know why.
`Alright, that gives us about six days each for Charms and Transfiguration,' said Ares. `So, off to bed you two.' Later that night Harry walked down to the kitchen when he heard two voices.
`So, what do you think?' asked Ares.
`I think Miss Granger doesn't need to worry. It's a 95%. An O,' said a voice that Harry recognised as Snape's.
`Excellent, except that isn't Hermione's test,' said Ares.
`What, who owns it?' asked Snape.
`Harry,' said Ares.
`Potter did this test?' asked Snape, surprised.
`Yes,' said Ares.
`You helped him?' asked Snape.
`Yes, I taught him. But he did the test on his own,' said Ares.
`Very well. You taught him well, I am impressed. And with potions, that is saying something. How a boy went from an Acceptable in Theory potions to an Outstanding during one summer, it is impressive,' said Snape.
`Well, then hold your applause. Not only did he do it in one summer, he did it in nine days,' said Ares. `And two of them were filled with tests.
`Nine days. Yes well, you make sure he keeps this standard up in my N.E.W.T potions class, do I make my self clear, Lestrange,' said Snape.
`Very well. But hear my terms. You have to stop being biased in all of your classes,' said Ares.
`Biased, I don't understand,' said Snape.
`That means giving too many points to Slytherin, not taking away from Slytherin, not giving sufficient points to Gryffindor and not taking un fair points from Gryffindor,' said Ares.
`And if I don't?' asked Snape.
`Then there will be a repeat of your fifth year. And I think over half of Hogwarts would love to see you wet yourself. So do we have a deal, Snape?' asked Ares.
`Fine Lestrange,' said Snape. Harry heard him coming back out of the kitchen so he went back to bed. The following days were packed full of charms. By the end of the second day, Ares had Harry up to Outstanding level in Charms Theory. Then two days latter, he was Outstanding in Transfiguration Theory. Ares then tested Harry again of his Practical of Transfiguration and Charms. In both Harry scored Outstanding. The amount he had learned in the Theory had taught him how to do the Practical as well. Ares had set aside three weeks to teach Harry and had finished it in two.
`Well done Harry,' said Ares, handing him and Hermione a butterbeer.
`So, what are we doing next week?' asked Harry.
`Don't know, we could fire into one of the N.E.W.T. courses,' said Ares.
`Okay,' said Harry and Hermione.
`How about I teach you the 10000 potions ingredients?' asked Ares.
`Okay,' said Hermione.
`10000, I mean, can it be done. It took you three days to teach me 1000 ingredients,' said Harry.
`I only need to teach you about 5000 you already know 1000 of them and about another 3 or 4 thousand are just different versions of ingredients already named. Now those 5000 will take, on the rate we were going at, about fifteen days instead of seven but it just means we will have to work faster,' said Ares. So they worked and worked and worked. They worked the full seven days and on the last day before Hogwarts they did a test on the 10000 ingredients. Harry scored 91%, and Hermione scored 101%. The following day the kids all got ready. Ares had told them just to get into the robes here as they were getting a portkey. Harry got on his robes and pinned his prefect's and Quidditch Captain's badge onto his robes. He attached his wand holster onto the belt of his trousers and inserted his wand. Harry walked downstairs and into the kitchen. Standing there already was Hermione and Ginny. All the trunks were beside the un activated portkey which was a cup handle.
`Good morning,' said Hermione.
`Morning Hermione, morning Ginny,' said Harry.
`Morning,' said Ginny in reply.
`So, where are the rest of them?' asked Harry.
`The rest of them, you mean just Ron?' asked Ginny.
`Yeah, it just confuses me that Ron is now the oldest Weasley at Hogwarts,' said Harry.
`Mor… Morning,' yawned Ron, who had just walked into the room.
`Morning,' chorused the other three.
`So, when are we going?' asked Harry, checking his watch that he had bought in Diagon Alley, seeing that it was ten o'clock.
`Now,' said Ares, coming through the door. The four kids got their cloaks and walked back into the kitchen. All the kids, Ares, Arthur and Molly.
`Alright the portkey is going to activate in three,' started Arthur, `two, one, now!' Harry felt the
familiar pull at his navel and saw the kitchen of 12 Grimmauld Place change into the buzzing Platform 9
