Chapter 20: A surprise.

The gang found themselves in the kitchen, laughing at everything they had been through over the years.

“What about that idiot Lockhart?” Draco asked with a snort of laugher and Harry laughed as a memory came to his mind.

“That day on Valentine, when I walked into the Great Hall, I seriously thought I had walked into the wrong room that I backed out of it and looked around to make sure that it was the correct door!” Harry explained laughing and Hermione rolled her eyes.

“That’s explains it.” Hermione exclaimed and everyone laughed.

“How about the time when you lot got sent into the dark forest?” Ginny asked and Harry laughed.

“The dark forest? I thought that was a joke, we can’t go in there, students aren’t allowed, beside there are werewolves!” Harry exclaimed, mimicking Draco who rolled his eyes.

“At least I didn’t faint.” Draco teased back and Harry laughed.

“No, you just ran off screaming.” Harry teased right back and all of them calmed down.

“We’ve been through so much haven’t we?” Ron said and everyone nodded.

“I still can’t believe this is our last year.” Draco said and Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Draco looked around the kitchen.

“Tell me about it.” Hermione murmured as she looked at Harry who pulled her into a hug.

“You guys are lucky, I get stuck here for another year and I bet you next year will be boring without the famous trio getting into trouble.” Ginny teased and it lightens the mood effectively as they all laughed and fought over the food. Luna, however, was sitting next to Ron, watching the house elves cook the food for the next day.

   Harry woke up the next morning; he was thankful that it was the weekend; he looked at Ron and chuckled at the sight. Ron was conked out, snoring the world away along with Neville, Dean and Seamus were sleeping peacefully. Harry shook his head with a smile as he headed into the bathroom.

Hermione woke up and looked out of the window, she shook her head as she hurried and got washed then dressed and made her way into the common room where she placed a C.D into the enchanted player that she had gotten from Arthur for her Christmas.

Was it full of ramified that got me looking for a goal? # Hermione started singing along with the song as she moved her hips to the beat as she leaned over to check out a page on the book that was sitting at the table.

Harry heard singing coming from down the stairs, he opened the door and listened, the boys jerked awake and looked around.

“Where’s the angel?” Dean asked stupidly and Harry snickered.

“Down stairs apparently.” Harry said, all the boys were confused as they all jumped out of their beds and hurried down the stairs, they all stopped at the bottom of the common room and saw that the rest of the Gryffindor was up and was all over the place, at the landing checking out the singer and on the stairs. They all were stunned when the singer was revealed.

“Hi?” Hermione squeaked out seeing everyone. They were all stunned at first then broke into a loud applause at the amazing songs they were given. Hermione just let out a stunned laugh as she tried to comprehend what had just happen. Harry walked over to her and kissed her lightly.

“You were amazing, trust me.” Harry whispered, assuring her and Hermione nodded, still stunned. Everyone went back to their room to get some more sleep, which caused Harry to look at them with amusement written over his face as he led Hermione to the couch. “Why didn’t you tell me that you could sing?” Harry asked and Hermione blushed while looking down.

“I’ve been singing since I was kid, it just something I do.” Hermione explained shyly and Harry smiled.

“Well I hope you sing more, they all seemed to love it, I think it made them all more relaxed.” Harry said and Hermione smiled as she leaned into Harry.

“Thanks.” Hermione whispered and Harry kissed the side of her head.

“No, thank you for coming into my life.” Harry whispered back.
