Chapter 2
Ginny tossed and turned all night. When it was finally time for her to get ready and go down for breakfast, she felt like a whirlwind, and as she sat at the Gryffindor table, she decided she probably looked like one.
She was the first into the carriages. She waited a few minutes and then it began to roll toward Hogsmeade. She was so excited she didn’t know where to begin!
The first shop she went into was the school supplies. She figured she better get that stuff first, just to make sure she had enough money for the essentials. She bought pink parchment, pink ink, a pink quill, and all the refills for her potions contents. She had never bought anything pink, but it fit the image of her perfectly.
When she exited the shop, she realized that Snape wouldn’t appreciate the pink parchment or ink. She ran back in to get normal parchment and ink just for his class. As she walked toward the counter again, she noticed the bags. She saw a beautiful black one, and also saw the sign that she could have it personalized with no wait. She picked up the bag and went to the counter. She had her name with flowers embroidered in pink on the front. She also got pink and light blue animated sparkles around the whole thing too. When she left the shop for the second time, she felt much happier.
Next, she went to the robes shop. She found robes that fit her figure perfectly, showing off the curves she didn’t know she had. She also bought very skimpy lingerie, tank tops, skirts, and very sexy boots. She then decided she needed a makeover.
She went to the parlor and got the cheapest makeover, but she got a lot of makeup. Then she realized that she didn’t know how to use it, so she paid for lessons.
After that, she decided she was through. She shrunk her packages, and went to the Three Broomsticks and got lunch.
It was pretty late when she decided to head back up to the castle. She went up to her room and decided to put everything in its place. She threw all of her old robes and clothes away, and replaced them with the new things. She put all her makeup on her little dresser that she never used, and relocated all her school supplies into the new bag.
She had hoped that after doing all of that would make her feel better, or at least different. She was surprised to find that she didn’t. Relax Ginny; you’re not changing until Monday after all. You still have to be your old self until then.
With that thought in mind, she went down to the Great Hall. As she passed the Slytherin table, Malfoy stuck his foot out and tripped her. She went crashing to the floor in front of everyone. The whole Slytherin table and the majority of the rest were laughing hysterically. This cannot be happening to me! She thought and ran out of the Great Hall. Tears were streaming down her face as she headed toward the kitchens.
She sat and ate with Dobby well past , just listening to him talking. She did tell him of her plans. He seemed excited that she was going to be happier. Around three in the morning she headed back to her room.
She lay on her bed, and decided to write in her diary.
Today I went to Hogsmeade and made a total change in myself. I’m going to get into that group of girls if it’s the last thing I do! I can’t wait until Monday!
Soon after, she fell asleep.
~*~*~*~*~
The next day, Ginny stayed in her room doing all of her homework. She was so behind in all of her classes. She didn’t even to breakfast or lunch. She was really unhappy when she realized that most of her homework was for Snape.
By the time she finished, it was supper time. It took her fifteen minutes to talk herself into going, but she knew if she didn’t she would never do what she planned.
This time she walked ten foot away from the tables until she reached her own. She didn’t think a lot of people were watching. Not as bad as I thought.
The food appeared, and she ate slowly. Every once in a while she would risk a glance at the girls. They were always so happy. She hoped they would accept her tomorrow. When she finished she went straight to her bed and fell asleep, hoping everything would go alright tomorrow.
~*~*~*~*~
The next morning Ginny woke up early. She took a long bath to calm her nerves. She got dressed, charmed her hair into a beautiful curly style that showed off her cheek bones. She put on her makeup and looked at herself in the mirror.
She loved the way she looked. She never thought she could be this pretty. I just hope other guys think so. She decided to go down to breakfast fifteen minutes late. She wanted to be fashionably late, so as to get everyone’s attention. Please don’t embarrass yourself Ginny.
It was finally time to go. She walked slowly down to the Great Hall. She stopped at the doors, took a deep breath, and swung them open dramatically.
