Harry Potter and the Prophecy of Two

17. The Form of the Eagle

Harry Potter and the Prophecy of Two!

Disclaimer- I don't own Harry Potter and never will! If none of you knew this but I'm writing this story as it comes into my head. I've done none of that planning stuff that other writers have done, I'm just writing freely. So if there's any mistakes, like if something happens that is impossible to fit into my story, just ignore it, as I thought of it then wrote of it, not thinking of what happened in earlier chapters.

To answer a few reviews, I can't really do battle scenes or romance scenes as you've already witnessed. And one of you asked how was it that Harry could get o Avlantia so quickly? Well, Harry hasn't gone to Avlantia, she's come to him, they're still at Hogwarts, on the Quidditch pitch!

Sorry, but the stories may come out a bit slower than usual, if that's possible, as I'm now an employed worker. But I'll try and get them out ASAP, even though I'm not allowed on the computer very much!

Thanks to all the reviewers, and Merry Christmas!

Chapter Seventeen- The Form of the Eagle

Harry's mouth opened and closed in terror, staring numbly into that face which had haunted his dreams for so long. Her smile was filling him with unspeakable fear, as were her eyes. The bright, blue chilled his bones, he began to shake. His scar was throbbing painfully, signaling that Voldemort wasn't far behind Avlantia. Screams and terror filled yells were echoing around the grounds, as well as sounds of breaking wood as the Stadium began to crumble. Coldness swept through him and screams began in his head as three Dementors swept by, heading for a small group of yellow clothed figures collapsing as they drew near.

Harry clenched his teeth savagely, ignoring the pain coming from his injured leg and throbbing scar, as anger poured through his veins. He jumped to his feet gasping painfully as his full weight was pressed on his leg. “Where are you going, Harry?” came the soft voice of the used to be Abagale Priest. Harry shot her a deathly glare, grasping his wand firmly in his hand.

“AWAY TO HELP!” he yelled, brandishing his wand, and pointing it straight at the white woman. She smiled silkily and swiped her hand; Harry's wand flew into the air and caught alight, twisting and burning. Harry's face fell as the remains of his beloved wand fell to the ground as a dark pile of ash. A look of humor crossed her face, but then was replaced by one of confusion. Where lay the pile of cindered ashes, was glowing with a faint light, the newly resurrected form of Harry's wand was being formed. It rose into the air for a few seconds, before dropping back down, resting softly in the green grass.

Harry smiled and picked it up, feeling warmth being emitted from it. “Well, that was interesting.” She said merely. “Oh well, there's always this,” once more she swiped her hand, and Harry's fingers were clutching each other. His wand had vanished. He smiled and looked up at her. He wiggled his fingers and flames began to sizzle from his palm. He said one word and the ball of flame was thrown from his hand and landed on Avlantia's chest. She shrieked softly and began to beat them away with her hands. There was a large, black, gaping hole in her dress, showing large amounts of red, shiny skin where the flames had burnt her. She sighed and ran her hand over it, healing her wounds and mending the hole. She looked up at Harry, a sour look on her face.

“I like this dress, don't do it again!” she pouted as she spotted her glance at his Firebolt lying just behind him and at his backing foot steps. She giggled softly. “I'm not that blond, Harry!” then swiped her hand one last time, making a jet of fire stream from it heading for the broom. It hit an invisible barrier and sizzled out. Harry dived for his broom and clambered onto it, hearing as more and more spells his the shield her had built silently. It won't last much longer, he thought as he soared into the air, watching the frustrated form of Avlantia firing spell after spell into the air only to hit a clear wall surrounding Harry from about six meters away from him.

Harry almost fell of his broom as he looked at the scene before him. He could make out the black cloaked figures of Death Eaters firing spells at students and teachers. Dementors glided through the crowds of swarming dark servants, heading for the weaker students and Harry watched their feeble attempts of conjuring a Patronus. He grinded his teeth as they collapsed and the soul-suckers advanced on them. The wind whipped by his head as he dove for the Dementors. He landed harder on the ground, forgetting his bludger-hit leg and ran full pelt at the Dementors.

He felt the cold wash over him and the faint screaming of his mother. He gritted his teeth and summoned a happy memory. When he and Hermione kissed for the first time. “EXPECTO PATRONUM!” He shouted at the four Dementors surrounding the three Hufflepuff students. They all looked pale and one had their eyes closed and was lying on the ground. The large silver stag erupted from his hand and reared on its back legs and kicked at the Dementors. It pushed them away and followed them, stabbing them with its antlers, even though they went straight through them. Suddenly another two swept up from behind the Hufflepuff students and Harry rushed towards them, hoping he could cast another Patronus.

“EXPECTO PATRONUM!” he shouted and watched in fear and excitement as another patroni emerged from his hand. But this one was different. Instead of being his fathers Animagi form, it was a large, silver, wolf-like dog. It was Sirius. It snarled at the Dementors and pushed them away. Harry rushed to the students, kneeling beside the collapsed one. “Enervate!” he said and watched as the boy opened his eyes. He shuffled them to their feet.

“Go, go back to the castle or into the forest, just hide or fight do anything!” he shouted and turned on his feet and sprinted away. “STUPEFY!” he shouted, as a red beam of light shot from his hand and hit an unsuspecting Death Eater. The other Death Eaters reared on him, smirking under their masks. “Oh look, its little Harry Potter, the hope of the Wizarding world, and with out a wand in sight. Oh the poor baby!” mocked a voice from one Death Eater. They shot a Crucius curse at him, he dived out of the way just in time, and looked behind him at the Death Eater and watched as they took their mask off.

White hot anger surged through his body as he looked up into the haunting face of Bellatrix Lestrange, her hollow face a replica of what Harry remembered it to be like. He hissed and jumped to his feet, once more ignoring his pained leg. She smiled down at him and pointed his wand at her. “Is poor wittle Harry still missing his puny godfather?” she mocked, her eyes growing wide when she saw a curse being formed in Harry's palm. It shot at her; she got hit on her shoulder. She fell to the ground, screaming in pain, and writhing. Harry hit her with a spell he had found in a Defense book he had found in Grimmauld Place, the Caninius Curse. It acted as if you were being mauled by a vicious pack of dogs or wolves, you could feel their teeth ripping into you and even see them attacking you. But they weren't really there.

“Get them off me!” she shrieked hysterically, thrashing around on the ground in pain. Harry smirked and easily blocked the two spells thrown at him from the other two Death Eaters. He then stunned them and stood over Lestrange. “I'm not so little now am I?” was all he said over her screams before turning and leaving. He spotted a group of Death Eaters torturing a few people. He could hear the shrieks coming from them. Harry growled and bounded over to them, as the black Tikarni. The first one didn't even see him coming before he was on the ground fast asleep with a large gash on his arm.

The other two back up, brandishing their wands, but didn't fire a spell before Harry had attacked them, leaving them knocked out on the ground. He looked at the people they had been torturing and gasped, it coming out as a weird yelp. It was Professor McGonagall, Cho Chang and Colin Creevely. He quickly transformed back and knelt beside them. McGonagall was panting and holding her chest, while Cho was weeping silently. Colin hadn't awakened. The professor Looked up at him with fear and gratitude. She nodded meekly and watched as he bolted away, once more a black flash.

He had been running, hexing, biting for so long. He was drenched in blood, fear and sadness. There were so many students dead or dying around the grounds. But Death eaters now lay with them, with a bloody arm, leg or neck, having been bitten by Harry and given enough poison to last for a day or two. He had just transformed back into a human when he heard someone shout his name. He looked around to find Hermione and Ron fighting with three Death Eaters, and winning. As he was running over as a wolf, he watched as Ron seemed to copy Harry and transform into a great, orange tiger. The Death Eaters backed away, shock evident on their faces. Ron pounced on one, while Harry crept up on the other two, biting them fiercely. He then bit the one Ron had mauled, sending him to sleep.

Hermione raced to him and enveloped him in a large hug, pulling away and gasping when she saw his leg. “What happened? We were so worried when you fell and then Death Eaters came from the forest and everyone panicked. We saw this white lady kinda gliding across the grounds to where you were. We tried to get down there but death Eaters had surrounded her and you. We were stuck fighting them. What happened to your leg?” she said all in one breath.

“Bludger,” was all he said, looking at his leg for the first time. His Quidditch robes were soaked in blood, as were his shoes. He lifted up his robes and looked at a large gash across his knee. He shrugged and smiled up at his friends. “I'm so glad you two are alright, I didn't know what happened, and then-“ he didn't finish what he was saying as there was a flash then Hermione was gone. They looked around, and Harry turned to face Avlantia. She had Hermione by her shoulders and was grinning like crazy.

“Let her go!” he hissed, stepping forwards, but Avlantia held up a finger and swayed it from side to side.

“Ah, ah, ah, Harry, not yet, we haven't even properly met. So, you're the girl who has been hurting poor Tommy all this time.”

“What do you mean?” Harry said savagely having no idea what was happening. “Well, it was I who placed that muting charm on you, and you would only get your voice back when kissed by your true love. And when this little mudblood kissed you, I was alerted to it. So now, all I have to do is kill her, Harry, and Tom will be free to kill you!” Harry stepped forward, anger pulsing through his hands in the form of blue lightning bolts. Ron stood beside him, fists clenched as well as teeth.

“Leave her be, Abagale!” Harry said, feeling much braver now that his friend was threatened. Avlantia smiled silkily and sighed.

“Such bravery, such honor, Tom said you had a saving people thing, too bad it won't help you now, will it, Tommy?” They gasped and Harry became aware that his scar was throbbing painfully. Hermione gave a soft, muffled shriek at the form of Voldemort sweeping towards her. His blood red eyes dug into Harry's, and his lipless mouth gave out a smile.

“So we meet again, Potter!” he hissed standing beside his lady. She smiled sweetly to him and passed him Hermione. “Here's a present for you, darling!” she said. Voldemort smiled pleasantly, stroking Hermione's face with one, long, pale finger. She was shaking and silent tears were flowing down her cheeks. Harry stepped forward once more, now no more than two meters away from them. He raised his hand and said in his mind, “Accio Gryffindor Sword!” He looked sternly into Voldemort's eyes, holding his mind shield in place firmly. Her heard a whistling and held up his hand and caught the Gryffindor Sword. Voldemort and Avlantia eyed it wearily before they both laughed heartily.

“He thinks he can defeat us with that!” Avlantia said, pointing humorously at the ruby-encrusted weapon. “Hey Tom,” Harry said, gaining Voldemort's glare and anger. “Remember this sword, this is the one that I killed the Basilisk with four years ago, remember and you were so ignorant that you thought I couldn't kill it. But I did. How `funny' was that? You thought you were so high and mighty then when I killed you-“ Harry collapsed to the ground, grinding his teeth in silent agony. Voldemort smirked and removed the Crucius curse.

“That's a reminder who your dealing with, Potter.” He said, watching as Harry was helped to his feet by Ron. “LEAVE HIM!” Voldemort shouted, swiping his hand and sending Ron sailing through the air. “LEAVE MY FRIENDS ALONE!” Harry shouted, jumping forward as a Tikarni and savagely biting into Voldemort's chest, just missing Hermione. He was thrown off but when he jumped, Voldemort loosened his grasp on Hermione and she pulled free. She was now standing beside Harry, holding onto his shoulder in fear. Voldemort growled and inspected his wounds.

“Foolish boy, your lucky I didn't like this robe!” he then fixed the hole and injury. “And if your wondering why I'm not knocked out on the ground, it's because a stupid animal can't knock me down. Now, come here, mudblood!” he snarled again, raising his hand in front of him, as if Hermione would willingly go to him.

“Go Hermione!” Harry hissed, pushing her back o where Ron was slowly getting to his feet. She shook her head, tightening her grip on his shoulder. “I want to stay with you!” she said, tears seeping down her face. “You'll be killed!” he said angrily trying to get her to go. She smiled slightly. “I don't care.”

“Oh, how touching!” said Voldemort pretending to wipe a tear from his eye. “Now, back to business.” He raised his wand and pointed it to Hermione and Harry. “Hermione, GO!” Harry shouted, shoving her away, “I'll be alright, now go!” she squeezed his arm briefly, before pulling away. She took one last look at Harry and helped Ron up. “We can't just leave him!” Ron said angrily, trying to get to him, “We can't leave him alone!”

“He wont be alone, Mr. Weasley” said a voice to Harry's left. Harry looked to find Tyler Rohain standing there, a strange light shining in his eyes. “I think you three should go, now,” he added, not taking his eyes off Avlantia. She was looking at Tyler, squinting his eyes then opened them wide a large smile on her lips. “Its really you, I've finally found you, Tyson, old friend!” Ron and Hermione gasped, Harry just stood there, sword and hand raised, ready to fight.

“Go get help!” he said merely, staring intently at Voldemort. He was looking from his lover to the man who had interrupted. He turned to Harry, then looked behind him and sighed. He raised his wand.

“AVADA KEDAVRA!” he shouted, Harry watched as the spell left his wand and began to speed towards him and head passed his shoulder to where Hermione and Ron where. He yelled and swung the sword, hitting the green flash with force. It made a clang like metal hitting metal, and then vanished. “GO!” he hissed to Ron and Hermione. He watched them transform and run towards the castle at a mighty speed. He then turned to Voldemort and the others. “Harry, I think you should go now, as well!” said Professor Rohain, his eyes still locked on Avlantia.

“No, sir, this is my battle to fight as well.” He said, glaring angrily at Voldemort. He nodded slowly.

“Now I just need my dear old love Ashir and I will be complete. You wouldn't happen to know where he was, would you?” she asked happily.

“No, I don't, Abagale, even if I did, what makes you think I'd tell you?” Tyler said slowly, his wand pointing straight at Avlantia's heart. Voldemort laughed. “He was the same attitude as, Potter. And speaking of Potter, I believe I should be killing you now!” he said pleasantly, turning his wand to Harry. But just as he opened his mouth to say the killing curse, there was a pop and Albus Dumbledore stood before them. His eyes were cold and twinkless, his hair and beard standing away from his face.

“DUMBLEDORE!” hissed Voldemort loudly, withdrawing his wand. “Hello, Tom, Abagale. Harry, I would like you to go now.” He said softly, his eyes not leaving Voldemort's. “No, sir, I want to fight!”

“You're not ready, Harry, go and help the others, leave this battle to me for now!”

“But-“ there are no buts, Harry, go!” Harry glared at his old mentor, his sword still raised. He sighed and was about to go when something Avlantia said startled him.

“So where is the Eagle hiding?” she whispered to no one in particular. Harry turned and faced her, heart beating. “What-what do you mean, where is the `eagle' hiding? Who's that, I thought you were looking for Ashir?” he blurted, his heart still pounding painfully. Avlantia gave him her sour face. “Well, in our seventh year, if you must know, Ashir, Tyson and that stupid mudblood, “Tyson growled, “went and became Animagus without asking me! And Ashir was an eagle so we called him the Eagle from then on, why are you so curious, young Harry?” she said sweetly, smiling at him. Harry shook his head fiercely.

“No reason, um, I'm gonna go know, bye!” and with that he transformed into a hawk and flew straight up into the sky. His heart was pounding as he viewed upon the blood stained grounds. There was fighting still going on, and it looked as if they were winning. The order had turned and was fighting brilliantly. But that wasn't why Harry's heart was pounding. When Avlantia had mentioned an Animagus form of an Eagle, he remembered something, someone with an Animagus form which was an eagle, but couldn't think of their name. Then it hit him all of a sudden. He almost fell out of the sky; Ashir Dire was right under his nose.
