Harry Potter and the Prophecy of Two

Disclaimer-I don't own Harry Potter and never will! Thanx to the people that have reviewed, they make me feel special lol! Hey on the last chapter did it show what sign was burnt onto Harry's shoulder? Because it should have had this picture of an A, but all fancy. If it didn't work, just imagine a capital letter A with swirls added to it and little arrows, ok?! Rightio, on to the story I go!

These: > < are where things are being read from a book, or letter!

Chapter Nine- The Royal Four

`Avlantia?' they all said in unison. Dumbledore's face looked grave, his eyes missing any sign of twinkle. Their light blue now looked dull, out of life. He sighed and motioned them to sit, which they all did, awaiting more information.

`When I was but a Charms professor at Hogwarts, there was four people that were classified the Royal Four. Ever since their first year they were best friends right up until they Graduated. Comprised in their little group were Ashir Dire, Abagale Priest, Saydi Morier and Tyson McCloud, all Gryffindors. Ashir and Saydi fell in love through the years, but Abagale loved Ashir more than anyone. Tyson was Ashir's best friend; they never left each other's side. But there was one person who watched the four closely; he was a Slytherin by the name of Tom Riddle. He cherished Abagale from the moment he laid eyes on her, but a Slytherin can never love a Gryffindor, so he thought. He became engrossed in the Dark Arts through his years at Hogwarts and after he graduated, his love for Abagale never faltering. So much alike was his love to Abagale's, when Ashir and Saydi became Head Boy and Girl she was heart broken. They all later graduated and Abagale disappeared after Ashir and Saydi proposed they were to wed. Many thought she was just heart broken, but that was just one of her reasons. She turned to the Dark Side, but not to Tom, she abided by her self, studying ancient magic's of the darkest sort. She returned after many years to find out that Ashir had a family. Two children a girl, Elindor and a boy, Wade.

`She murdered Saydi one night while they slept; she killed the children in cold blood also. She left a burn on Ashir's shoulder, the exact one you have there. She then vanished once more and never has been seen again. As for the incantation you recited to me. When Ashir woke to find his whole family murdered he broke down, he disappeared. His best friend, Tyson was distraught, he knew he went to find Abagale and seek vengeance. But he never turned up again.

`Many years later they heard of a witch turned dark, she called her self Avlantia. Only Tyson knew that she was Abagale, the one who killed his best friend's family. He went after her, they fought. He vanquished her to the dark; everyone thought that she was dead, but obviously not. Tyson has never been seen since that fight.' Dumbledore reached up and put a hand to his head, a silent tear rolling down his face. Harry gulped, and glanced nervously to Hermione, she was quivering, her hands clenched over her mouth. Ron looked ghostly pale, his mouth hanging open. Harry took a deep breath and faced Dumbledore and asked the only thing that came to him.

`Why me?' he stuttered, feeling incredibly sick. But Dumbledore raised his head and there eyes locked. He shook his head sadly. `I do not know.' The room was deadly silent; the clock upon the wall was the only sound heard amongst the silence. Dumbledore slowly stood, looking hopelessly among his students. `You all have your training to commence with; I think you are already ten minutes late. Please do not discuss what I have told you with any one else. I will tell the Order members later tonight that we might have more trouble to worry about now. It seems as if Abagale has found Tom.' He gave a brief false smile before departing. They stayed in the room, slowly digesting all the information that they had just been giving. The clock kept up its clicking in the back ground, still the only sound being heard. They began to stand, and slowly make their way out into the hall for their next lesson.

Dainin Strongfoot was standing in the middle of the room, humming a distant tune. They strode in and apologized for being late but he brushed it away. `Professor Dumbledore has already seen me. Today we'll just continue with levitating the chairs, then tomorrow we'll begin another spell.' The rest of the lesson dragged, with out much progress. They all had too much on their minds to concentrate on a single feat. The class with Armarnd was much the same, except they were learning the incantation and potion for the Animagi Transformations. In Occlumency their shields only needed a single prod with Maizy's Legiliumcy spell and they vanished. She asked what was wrong but they only said they had something on their minds.

They met again in the secret room that night, but they only partly sorted through the junk, their minds too full on the day's information. Harry let out a long, hard sigh before slamming the lid shut on the trunk he was sorting through. `Why am I having these dreams? I still don't really know who this Avlantia person is. Is she alive and working for Voldemort to kill me, or is it just something Voldemort has cooked up. I'm so frustrated!' He sat on the closed trunk and put his head in his hands, running his fingers through his hair. Hermione and Ron both stopped what they were doing and looked sadly at him. `We don't know, mate. These things always happen to you, we don't know why!' Ron tried to comfort him, but failed. `It's because of the stupid prophecy!' lashed out Harry, anger growing in him again. He let out a long sigh, trying to keep his emotions from taking over. He looked pleadingly up at his two friends of six years and smiled.

`I wouldn't have been able to survive the last six years without you two. You're the first friends I ever had.' He smiled lopsidedly, causing them to both break out into identical grins. `Before I came to Hogwarts my only friends were my family, since no other wizards or muggles lived near us. You were my first proper friend.' Joined in Ron looked very happy. `Me too,' added Hermione, `at muggle Primary School no one liked me because I liked going to school and learning. I always was reading a book.' Hermione smiled merrily. `You two were my first friends as well, and if it wasn't for that troll we probably never would have become friends.' They all laughed at old times, and then sat grinning thoughtfully.

`I'll ask Moony and Tonks tomorrow if they will be able to teach us some defense skills, like combat. We'll have to move the other classes around to fit it in, that's if you want to do it?' asked Harry considerately. They both grinned, `Sure mate.' `Yeah Harry, that'll be great. Harry smirked again. `Should we tell Moony about this place, he might be able to use it?' they all looked at one another and said in unison, `Nah!' they laughed happily and got back to work, cleaning out the remainder of the trunks and boxes and sorting through the books. By the time they went down stairs the morning light was beginning to shine through the curtained windows, setting a fluorescent glow around the rooms. Mrs. Weasley spotted them as she was making her way up the stairs.

`You lot are up early, did you have a good sleep?' she smiled cheerfully at them, wearing a flowered apron and carrying a wooden spoon.

`Err………yeah, it was good, we're just hungry.' She gave them a warm smile and continued up the stairs saying, `Breakfast is on the table when you're ready!' they all let out anticipated breaths and smirked at them selves, `That was close,' they laughed on the way to the kitchen, finding a large breakfast laid out on the ancient table. They were half way through when two red heads appeared in the kitchen, they smiled broadly at the trio.

`Good Morning All!' announced Fred brightly, seating him self down next to Ron, grabbing a piece of toast. They were the green dragon-hide suits from the previous year, with matching boots. George sat down next to Hermione, grinning for no reason. `What are you so happy about?' asked Ron, reaching for more toast. `Nothing my dear brother, just that we helped our mother cook this morning!' Ron spat out the toast in his mouth looking horrified, Hermione choked on the bacon she was swallowing and Harry froze drinking his Pumpkin Juice. The twins broke out in hysterics, saying something about seeing the looks on their faces. `No we didn't help mother cook, we just finished getting ready for work, so don't you worry you're pretty little heads about it.' Fred said still red in the face, but George finished laughing and began looking serious, `Pretty? You gotta be joking, these lot, pretty?' They both began laughing again as Ron glared at them, slowly starting to eat again.

`I think we better be off, have a lovely day!' announced Fred, glancing at the clock on the wall behind him. George looked at the clock as well, `Yes, I suppose your right. We'll be back later on tonight, see ya!' they got up and left up the stairs both baring identical grins. All of a sudden Ron started coughing, and began looking awfully pale. `I don't think they were joking about breakfast!' he managed to stutter. Ron's face continued going pale, until he was almost transparent. He looked frightened down at his now see through hands. Just as he almost totally disappeared Tonks appeared in the kitchen and began laughing hysterically when she spotted Ron. She was almost crying when Mrs. Weasley walked in humming merrily, but stopped abruptly when she got sight of the now outlined form of Ron.

`I'M GOING TO KILL FRED AND GEORGE WHEN THEY GET BACK HERE!' she screamed angrily, striding over to Ron and performing the counter curse. His color slowly returned as did his form. Harry and Hermione hid their fits of laughter, but Tonks was now wiping the tears away from her eyes still laughing freely. But she backed away when Mrs. Weasley glared at her. When everything had settled down Mrs. Weasley rounded on Harry, her face softening considerably.

`Albus told us all last night about you dreams. Here, let me fix up that burn for you.' Harry pulled down his shirt to the burn; Mrs. Weasley's eyes began to well up. She performed a healing charm on it. The burn healed over, but a red outline of the sign still resided on Harry's skin. `That's the best I can do dear. You better hurry up and get to the hall for training; you don't want to be late today.' She smiled warmly at the three friends disappearing up the stair case. She briskly brushed away the tear rolling down her cheek, and sniffed her nose; Tonks came over and began patting her on the back.

Their Soul Magic teacher was already in the hall, humming the same tune as the day before. That lesson they moved onto blowing things up, which got Ron's mood up again. They were working on balloons; they each got one and tried to pop it. Harry got it the first go, by releasing his anger into it. Ron got it soon after and smirked amazingly that he got it before Hermione. She was having trouble and only managed to make the balloon sway slightly. When half the lesson had passed and no one seemed to have any ideas to give her, one struck Harry. He leaned over to her and whispered something in her ear. Her face paled slightly, but she concentrated on that one thought. Bits of rubber began flying over the room a moment later and settled in the hair of a very pleased Hermione.

`Thanks, Harry,' she said thankfully. `Not a problem Hermione, any time.' Ron looked carefully between the two before speaking, `What did you tell her Harry?' he asked curiously, Harry smirked, `I told her to think of how much she hated Voldemort and push all her anger at the balloon.' Harry answered happily, Hermione blushed slightly. The rest of the day flew by and soon enough they were back in the secret room, cleaning once again. They had almost finished the entire space. They had placed all the books in the book shelf they found and Hermione performed a vanishing spell on the junk, leaving large amounts of space. All they had to do was sweep and pack the boxes and trunks up in an orderly fashion. They planned to do that the next night.

The weeks flew by, with many order meetings and complex training sessions. Soon it was the day before returning to Hogwarts, and the day Ginny came back. She had been visiting relatives in France, and would be returning. It was also the day that they would be taking the potion to become full Animagi. Over the past two weeks they had been practicing the incantation and doing the mind exercises, now it was the final day. Also they had become quite skilled in Soul Magic and had managed to do many spells without a wand. And in Occlumency they all managed to block their minds, without them breaking when the Legiliumcy spell was cast on them.

Harry, Hermione, Ron and Armarnd stood around a bubbling cauldron in the hall. The potion was ready made, so it was perfect in every detail. All the trio had to do was say the incantation over and over until the potion turned from purple to lime green. When it did this they had to drink a goblet of the potion and continue with the incantation, visualizing transforming. Then it would be permanent. They began to recite the memorized incantation, slowly and quietly at first, but gradually getting louder. When they were saying it for the seventh time there was a sizzling sound as the potion hissed from purple to a sickening yellow green. They quickly scooped some into goblets and drank at the same time. It was like a hot ice was running down his throat; he almost choked as it ran down to his finger tips, then to his toes. They continued with the incantation, visualizing the spot light and transforming.

Suddenly a searing pain began on his fingertips working its way up to his shoulders; the same began on his toes working up to his hips. It slowly worsened becoming unbearable. Harry collapsed to the ground, sweating and panting. Thoughts flashed across his mind as he blacked out: something must have gone wrong, should it feel like this, something went wrong……………

Things kept flashing through Harry's mind. He was in a forest, trees surrounding him and a stream trickling from the side. FLASH. He was soaring through the air, wind whipping by his sides as he flapped his wings. FLASH. He was back in the forest, his nose to the ground, sniffing at some unknown sent. FLASH. He was flying over a large castle, the word Hogwarts crept across his mind. He dove from the sky, flattening out, heading to the ground. FLASH. Back in the forest, now wading through the stream, water soaked up to his neck, clinging to his hair, cooling his skin. He climbed out, padding on the cold stones, he glimpsed at himself in the reflection. FLASH. He was now nearing the ground, but he swooped up easily, nearing the lake. He flew over the top of it, searching for his reflection in the cool waters, he found it. FLASH. He stared at him self for a minute, but heard something snap near him. He flicked his head up to see an old man with a long grey beard and dark skin, the word Indian flashed through his mind. The old man opened his mouth and spoke a word. FLASH. He was back in the air after seeing his reflection, soaring over the forest, he swooped down into the branches and spotted an old man and another creature, he flew over them, and the old man looked up and spoke a word to him. FLASH. The old man spoke a word: Tikarni. FLASH. The old man spoke a word: Hawk.

Voices met his ears, jumbled at first but slowly coming clearer. He recognized one as the concerned voice of Mrs. Weasley, saying something to another person. They answered, it was the distinguishable voice of Armarnd, he was trying to calm her down, speaking words to her. He caught a few of them something about magic and animals. What was happening, where was he? Then the thoughts came back, of the Animagi transformation, but then, what happened after that? What were the other flashes of, where he was in the forest then in the air in the forms of animals? What about the old man, who only spoke two words, one to each of the animals. Who was he?

Harry caught the sounds of foot steps resounding from down stairs. They drew closer to where he lay, until they stopped. There was a knocking sound then the opening of a door, as someone entered. A cold cloth was placed on his head, and a goblet was placed on his lips. He slowly opened his mouth, allowing the cool liquid to trickle down his throat. But it wasn't cool, it began to burn his throat and heat his body up. It was a Pepper-up Potion; he'd know that sickly taste and the burning feeling from any where. He coughed slightly pulling his self into a sitting position, his eyes still closed. He began to open them, they were only open a crack when light billowed in, blinding his momentarily. There were shuffled steps as blurred shapes swam before him. The cold rim of his glasses was placed on his nose as everything came into perspective. The shape of Mrs. Weasley loomed beside his bed, a caring expression in her eyes, next to her stood Armarnd, his deep blue eyes penetrating into his own. Harry turned his head to inspect the room he was placed in; they were in Ron's room, with Ron sitting up in the bed next to him, looking intently at him. Harry smiled wearily, looking around for Hermione, but seeing none of her bushy brown hair.

`The transformation was a success, but with unexpected results. Your two friends woke up an hour or two ago, but you have been out the longest. It seems you have taken on a magical animal form, which is very peculiar as none have been registered for over two hundred years. We're not sure what form you are yet, as we haven't asked what dream came to you, so if you want to enlighten us, it will be much appreciated.' Harry furrowed his brow at Armarnd's statement, trying to remember his dream. `Well in my dream, I kept having flashes of two places, of two animals,' Armarnd stepped closer, a serious expression planted on his face, `First I was walking through a forest and came to a stream, then I was in the air, flying over Hogwarts. Than this old man said to the, what was it, dog-like form, erm………Tikarni? Then he looked at the one that was flying and said Hawk, I know what that is but not the other one!' Armarnd began saying things under his breath, still staring at Harry. Molly was now glaring at Armarnd in a very disapproving manner.

`Ok, you've asked your question, now leave them be. Let him have their rest.' Armarnd gave a curt nod before quickly disappearing out of the room, still mumbling to himself. Molly wished them good rest then left, saying something to someone in the hallway. Hermione entered a second after, closing the door after her. She walked briskly to Harry, and sat on the bed, looking at him, waiting for something. After Harry didn't say anything, she spoke her self.

`Well………what are you?' she asked excitedly, almost bouncing with anticipation. Harry thought for a second then shrugged, `I remember looking at myself in the reflection of the water but I can't remember what I looked like, in one I'm a hawk.' Hermione's face was overcome with a curious look, `One of them, what do you mean, One of them?” Harry smiled slightly.

`I'm not sure,' He then went on explaining his dream, and gave her the names that the old man said. She gasped then vanished out of the room, returning a moment later with a large book clasped in her hands. She began flipping through the pages, finally halting on one, Harry opened his mouth to speak, but she thrust the book under his nose. On the page before him was a rough sketch of a wolf, with glowing golden eyes. The name above the picture read: The Tikarni. It gave a brief explanation of its features. Harry began reading, and then became shocked as he neared the end.

>The Tikarni is believed to be a legend. Many muggles out camping believed they spotted a wolf prowling through the trees, its eyes glowing golden in the light. They believed it to be a trick of the light, but we know better. The many abilities that the Tikarni have is the ability to sense danger approaching even if it is many miles away, the ability to change color at will to blend into its surroundings, but only earth colors like, different shades of brown, black grey and white. It is also noted that they have the ability to transport to paces, but that is believed to be false as none have been spotted to do this. Its teeth are glistened with a poison that is able to knock out many wizards for over an hour. They rather like to be alone, but when they are together they become very protective of each other, and are known to fight to the death if one id endangered.

Harry stopped reading, all the information was too much for his weak mind. Hermione had an excited looked on her face as she shut the book.

Ron was now standing above them reading with mouth hanging open. Harry was just as dumbfounded that he had two animal forms and one was magical. He cleared his throat, signaling that he had read. Ron just gaped at him, while Hermione looked on kindly. “shut your mouth Ron, you have two forms as well.' Harry was now the one to gape, Ron had two as well. `Well………so do you!' Hermione stuck his tongue out at the red head. Hermione as well, now that had to be a record.

`What are you both?' asked Harry astounded. Ron turned red and began mumbling, Hermione laughed, `He's an orangutan and a Red Siberian Tiger. And I am a horse and an owl.' Harry smiled at Ron's two red animal forms, and then congratulated both of them. But they both then turned on him, saying how cool it was to have two animal forms and one magical. They stayed up there a while, discussing who good it would be to transform again. Hermione and Ron couldn't remember what they had looked like either; it seems they were in the perspective of the animal as well. Later on they moved down stairs into the kitchen to eat dinner, as they missed lunch. Hermione and Ron had already eaten, but still accompanied Harry down. Once entering the kitchen the voices that were being spoken stopped abruptly when the trio entered. Armarnd and Professor Dumbledore were sitting at the table, the head master smiled at them as they sat down; Armarnd smiled as well, but looked sternly at Harry, making him feel uncomfortable.

`We were just discussing your Animagi forms, it seems you three share something highly special with in you, as all three of you are Multimagi, and one of Harry's form's is magical. Armarnd discussed with you that Multimagi were created if the witch or wizard had many strong characteristics, but it also takes a lot of mental and physical energy to have two forms, especially one of magical nature.' Dumbledore smiled warmly at the three, and then turned to see Armarnd looking sternly at Harry. `Oh, don't worry about Armarnd; he's just shocked to know Harry has a magical form, as all witches and wizards who have had magical Animagi forms were exceedingly powerful people.' Harry gulped and shook his head slowly and took a breath, but as he was about to speak someone else's voice broke the silence.

`I wouldn't dwell on it too long, Bytin, as Potter's not like all other people, he's just a small pesky brat, just like his god………' Snape didn't finish his words as a black wolf launched it self at him, sinking it's fangs into his hand, its golden eyes glowing.
