written before DH. Just found it in my folders on my computer and decided to post it! "But is that love? Does Ginny love Harry, or the Boy Who Lived? I scowled at the thought. Ginny was never as close to Harry as I am to him. She knows nothing about him. I am the one who he would talk to about his problems at midnight in the Common Room. I was the one who believed him in 4th year when no one else would! I was the one who helped him to get to Sirius, even if I wasn’t sure about going to the Ministry of Magic. I helped Harry because that’s how much he means to me. I couldn’t just abandon him..." Hermione makes a startling realization, but is it too late?
