The Not So Secret Diary of Lily Evans

Kitastrophy

Dear diary.
I have no words as to what I'm feeling right now. Well, actually, I do. I am pissed. Who the hell does he think he is! `I'm an arrogant big-headed jerk who doesn't deserve your time, go out with me.' `I'm still not going with anyone to Hogsmeade yet, come with me.' I mean, what the hell?!? When he says, `Lily, I really like you and I would be privileged if you would accompany me to Hogsmeade today', I will consider it. No, if he says exactly that, I would say absolutely yes. Because I would be so surprised that I would die and I wouldn't even have to go with him! Okay, I swear on my honor of witch hood that I will go with James Potter on a trip to Hogsmeade with him if he says exactly what I said he should say, if that makes any sense. Stupid little prick. All he cares about is himself. I mean, come on, he says that he likes me, and then he goes and snogs some random girl! Really, I think that there's some child-hood problems in that little James Potter brain of his.

James frowned. He would have continued reading down the page, but it got kind of abusive after that. Then a plan formulated in his head. `Tomorrow's the Hogsmeade trip! I can ask her exactly what she wants me to ask her and then she'll have to say yes!'

His frown formed into a grin and he closed Lily's diary. Sure, she said that she would kill him if she found proof that he had her diary, it doesn't mean that he can't read it and get some helpful hints from it.

After placing it underneath his pillow, James snuggled down underneath the covers, this wind outside howling as is brought thick snow down. After a few minutes, James was sleeping, a smile spread across his face and snoring loudly.

~~~~~~~ The Next Morning ~~~~~~
"LILY! WAKE UP!" Gianne screamed. Sure, it was holidays, but it didn't mean that Lily could sleep in! They had a whole day of shopping ahead of them! Lily turned in her sleep, but didn't wake up.
"She's always been a heavy sleeper." Elle mumbled tiredly as she walked out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel, her hair wet. "I reckon she could probably even sleep through Potter's snoring if he was sleeping right next to her."
"Oh, go. I know! How loud was he! He kept me up all last night." Gianne thought for a second, and then she smiled evilly. She leant down over Lily until she was just above her ear.
"Lily," she sung, "James is looking through your bra drawer," Lily jumped up, knocking Gianne in the face with her head.
"Where? Get him out! Oh, sorry Gi," she yelled, rubbing the top of her head.
"Ow! God Lily, how hard is your head?" Gianne cried, rubbing her red nose. Elle squealed.
"Oh my god, guys, it's snowing!" Lily jumped up and ran to the window as Gianne rolled her eyes.
Lily got ready as fast as she could, ran a brush through her hair quickly. Too impatient to wait for Gianne, Lily grabbed Elle and ran down to breakfast. After grabbing a few pieces of toast, Lily noticing that there was no bacon at the Gryffindor table, they both ran, got their names marked off for the Hogsmeade trip and raced outside.
"I love the snow, don't you, Lily?" Elle asked her. Lily smiled and laughed as Elle slipped on some wet snow. Suddenly, lily felt a warm breath on her neck.
"Boo," a voice said quietly as hands rapped themselves around her. Lily shrieked and turned, slipping on the snow underneath her and landing on the snow with a loud thud. She looked up at the tall figure standing in front of her.
"Potter," She groaned, and rested her head back on the snow. James bent down over her.
"Why, hello Lily, how are you this fine day?" he said calmly, but in truth, his heart was racing with anxiety, hoping that his plan would work. She stifled another groan and looked up as him, rubbing the back of her head where she fell.
"What do you want, Potter; only if you don't move now, my clothes will be soaked and I'll have to go buy some new underwear." James smiled and moved, offering a hand to Lily which she took cautiously and got up.
"Lily, why do you always presume I want something?" She stared back at him, as Elle started edging away over to Remus and Sirius that were casually standing a small distance off, presumably expecting the conversation to end in another fight.
"Do you really want me to answer that?" she asked as she brushed all the snow off of her. "Now if you'll excuse me, there's a shop awaiting me to buy as much as I can, mostly chocolate and I have to go eat some pie." She turned around and started walking, but James caught up with her and stood in her way. "James…" she started, `wait, did I just call him James?' she thought, 'Did she just call me James?' he thought, but he interrupted her.
"Lily, I really like you and I would be privileged if you would accompany me to Hogsmeade today." She stood there open-mouthed for a few seconds before things started to kick in.
"Oh, you! I knew you had it!"
"You can't prove anything, but technically you did say that you'd go on your witch's honour if I said exactly that!" `Doh', he thought.
"Isn't that proof enough!"
"No, now come on," he said, taking her arm, "we're going to Hogsmeade." She struggled a bit, but when she realized he wouldn't let go, she sighed and just went along with him, leaving a disbelieving Sirius, Remus and Elle behind them.
`I am so going to regret this'. she thought.
A/N: Okay, new chapter up, I hope you liked it. It was a bit plain for me… but it's good material. Lol, the `pie' reference will be in the next chapter, as well as a fight with Lily's ex-boyfriend… and that's about as much as I can remember ^-^
Reviews are appreciated, I'll have the next chapter up as soon as possible, and.. happy reading!
Bye!
