Ginny Weasley wants nothing more than for her best friend to settle down and attempt a "happily ever after." She had no idea that when she pushed Hermione Granger into marrying long-time boyfriend Andrew Maddon it would mean sending her three thousand miles across the Atlantic Ocean - permanently. Now Ginny's determined to make Hermione recognise why she dreaded tying the knot all these months - and why Harry is at the root of this uncertainty. From matchmaking to planning and sabotaging a wedding all at once, Ginny might have finally taken on more than even she can handle.
AU. After everyone in the school accused them of going out, they (or rather Harry) decided to keep a list. The List named everyone who thinks they're a couple. In other words, all of Hogwarts. Now Harry and Hermione have to prove that they're just friends, all the while resisting their fellow students attempts to set them up. The only problem is, even they’re starting to wonder if their names belong on The List… Final chapter is Chapter 16. Chapter 17 is just some extras. ^_^
Prior to the hunt for horcruxes, Hermione realizes the significance of Harry's "saving people thing." She fails to realize that she's just as guilty of this fault as he.
From broken coffee machines and decimated doors to folders precariously left around her office, Hermione is having the worst day in the history of mankind...make that England. It just figures that Harry's chosen tonight of all nights to finally propose. H/Hr one-shot. Excerpt: No, Miss Granger would insist that she was having the worst day that any woman in the history of England possibly could have had. She was going to say in the history of mankind, but realized, given the history classes prior to her days at Hogwarts, England's history was most likely longer than that of humans. Or so it seemed to the students that had also attended Mrs. Gerwin's class. Like any bad day, it all began that morning, as what is the worst day in the history of one's country without it starting with the morning's coffee?
AU. Now a Seventh Year and Head Girl, Hermione relays her life in the diary given to her by Harry: from Harry sneaking into her bathroom (and just acting altogether odd), Head Girl duties, NEWTs, and hormones, to Ginny setting Hermione up in hopes of making her less neurotic, Hermione's life is slowly slipping out of her control. Excerpt from chapter 21, the epilogue: Harry took it from me and began flipping through the pages. A smile played onto his lips until he finally burst out in laughter. “What?” I demanded immediately. “What’s so funny?” “‘While I’m at it,’” he read from the diary, “‘convince the three mentioned above that I am not neurotic.’” “What’s so funny about that?” I asked him. “You are neurotic,” he told me. “That’s what’s so funny. You couldn’t have disproved them if you tried.” “I could too!” I insisted, rather insulted. “No you couldn’t,” came Hailey’s voice as she passed by the room, carrying Hogwarts, A History in her arms. COMPLETED. Thanks to everyone who read! It's been an amazing ride. :-)
