She liked him...or thought she did. It was possible. Really, details of that sort were fuzzy and of no importance. The two things she knew for certain when it came to Caradoc Dearborn? One, he was a magnet, pulling her closer all the time. Two, love was simply too strong of a word to describe what they had. Maybe attraction was a better word. The fact remained that he was still her magnet, probably always would be. But, as it goes with life, there is always something bigger to pull that magnet apart. In the case of one Lily Evans, it could be love.
She wasn’t really his Lily anymore… Oh, he could argue with himself over that one all day. But at the end of the day, she was always the one he’d wanted. She was always the one he’d thought about, the one he’d longed for. He’d not even dated since her, for fear he would forget what her love felt like... So, in a sense, she had always been and always would be, his Lily.
Everyone needs a best friend. How about two? When everything changes in a world you've become accustomed to, your best friends can make all the difference in the world. Especially for seventh-year Lily Evans.
The seventh year students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry all meet this point in their life with different reactions. Some will be happy to go. Others will dread leaving... Maybe a few will just try to live in the moment, no matter what is pushed into their way.
You know, I've always considered myself a witch who is prepared for any situation, whatever it may be. I always pack the right clothes for trips, I always carry an extra galleon or so, I never forget my wand... I even study every night, just in case we have a surprise test! You never know, right? At least, I thought I was well-prepared. I thought so, until I met James Potter... Until I really met James Potter for the first time. You might even go so far as to say that I'm completely, utterly, seriously unprepared when it comes to him. It's a new feeling... It's different. Oh, but Merlin, do I love it!
Every little girl dreams of falling in love--of being with that perfect someone. She dreams of wedding gowns, bouquets of flowers, golden rings, dreamy eyes staring into hers. Lily Evans is no exception. She knows love when she sees it-- until she begins to doubt her own. Can the love of her best friend-- a tall, hazel-eyed Marauder help her along? Or will it be too late?
When Lily Evans finally realizes she likes a certain wind-swept, messy-haired, Marauder bloke, what will she do? True, she may be in Gryffindor, but will she have enough courage to tell him how she feels? MWPP, set in 7th year
The closest James has ever gotten to the one (and only, for the most part) girl that he fancies is staring at her during their lessons... Will she give him the one chance he so desperately needs and wants? Lily, on the other hand, is a firm believer in fairy-tale romances. Will she get her ideal love, or will she get something more?
Lily Evans loves many things about Christmastime at Hogwarts… Snow, friends, love, family. But, as it is with all people, there are things she doesn’t like so much, as well… Namely, James Potter. Or does she really despise him as much as she likes to think? MWPP; One Shot
Lily always loved Christmas- how could she not? For some reason, every Christmas brought her something new- friendship, trust, even love. Maybe, just maybe a dark-haired Marauder. One-shot.
