This is an alternate ending to the original story. It starts at the end of Harry's third year, and continues thru his seventh. There is action in many of the chapters, but it's not the focus of the main story. I believe the overwhelming focus should be the main characters. I'm trying to write about a realistic and honest relationship between Harry and Hermione.
Hermione gets the cat, the flat, the food, and the furniture. Ron gets the family and friends. Harry gets the boot, his little book, the blame, and the shame. Ginny gets a new bloke and a haircut. New circumstances mix with old patterns, and Harry and Hermione find their friendship put to the test.
During the battle at the Department of Mysteries something unexpected happens and a knight from a place far, far away suddenly finds himself in the strange world of Harry Potter. Over the past several years, I thoroughly edited Harry Potter & the Fifth Element. While doing so, I created the Companion, which is a compilation of all the original magical elements, and Muggle references, contained in 1.3 million words of HP&5E.
The September sun was setting, casting warm orange streams of light at random intervals along his journey, through the crooked, mis-matched windows, each separated ray like the blast conjured by a particularly well-performed spell. G rating to increase.
Our teen aged heroes are broken. Seeking to escape a world that placed too much on their shoulders, they run away, seeking comfort in a wider world that doesn't know their names. As they attempt to find themselves, are time and each other enough to heal the wounds of war? Will they ever forgive those who placed such heavy burdens upon them? Can they ever return home?

As she struggles to survive, despite immense loss, in a world that no longer has a place for her, how will the reappearance of someone she'd thought she'd never see again change her life completely? This story takes place a few months after the final battle, the trio returns to Hogwarts to finish school and Lucius is becoming more powerful and with an army of Death Eaters a new threat washes not only over the wizarding world but the Muggle world also. Differences will have to be put aside for any chance of them surviving. I have big plans for this story.PLEASE REVIEW!!

This is an alternate version of Harry's seventh year that I wrote before reading Deathly Hallows, and explores the hunt for the Horcruxes and developing relationships. Harry, Ron and Hermione begrudgingly return to Hogwarts for further training for the showdown that they know is in the near future. While hunting for the Horcruxes in between classes, they come to realize the sacrifices that are needed to destroy each one. Will the love and friendship they have for each other be enough to end the battle they have begun?

This is a little bit o' sweetness one-shot that I wrote one day when I was missing the HP universe.
