Dobby saving everyone in Book 7 always seemed like weak writing and implausible to boot. Here's a different way thing could have gone that puts a harder choice in front of Harry. I'd like to think it makes him more of a Hero rather than a Dumble's pawn. I don't know what genre this falls into. Comments? H/Hr story in a dark setting. Confused? Reason #2: He's not my type and Reason #3...“You would hurt me.” It's Lily's Sixth Year and she just wants the arrogant Potter to leave her alone, but when tragedy strikes and the world goes dark, Lily is forced to take refuge in the Potter's home and sees James in a whole new light.

She needed him, she always had, and now she remembered why. He brought to her a sense of calm and security, which she had never been able to find anywhere else. He loved her, and she felt it in every small kiss that he planted along her jaw and neck. The fact that her skin was cold didn’t seem to bother him as he caressed her neck and back.
