THIRTEENTH INTERLUDE AND CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT: In which everyone at the meeting at Hogwarts has to fight for their lives and Harry reveals something he learnt from Voldemort that he never intended for anyone to know about... SORCERERS’ NOOK: A place of mysterious intrigue or just your normal, run-of-the-mill wizard block of flats? Whichever it is, it is where Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Dean and Neville are all living, south-east of London in beautiful Kent. This is their story, picking up four years after Voldemort has bitten the dust. Relationships are in upheaval – some are ending, some are beginning and others are waiting in the wings. While they all get on with their lives, an ancient, evil force is slowly gathering with one, implacable purpose: revenge.
A light-as-air, sweet and fluffy Christmas concoction served up purely for pleasure - Merry Harmonian Christmas everyone!
This is a song fic from Harry's POV; Harry loves Hermione and he knows she loves him, but...her former love - Harry's former friend - Ron, casts a shadow over his heart. Hermione left Ron a year previously and neither she nor Harry have seen him since. Then on the night they're out celebrating the first anniversary of their life together, who should show up but Ron...
Take that incredibly famous Trio – Harry, Ron & Hermione – let them hunt down and defeat Voldemort, then return them to the effusively congratulatory arms of the Wizarding world where they’re fawned upon, awarded and worshipped. Then see the friendship of the once inseparable threesome disintegrate, each going their own way, deliberately abstaining from any kind of contact with each other. Why? No one knows except for the Trio themselves – and they’re not telling. As the years pass, it seems as though it will take a miracle to get them together again. Then, after five years, Ginny appears to do it - the miracle is wrought and they agree to reunite for the Ministry of Magic’s annual Yule Ball. So, Ron’s returning, Hermione’s coming home and Harry’s back…let the story begin…
In case you’ve done a double take, yes this is me (She-Who-Is-Solid-Pumpkin) writing a Draco/Ginny story and I assure you you’re not seeing things. I’ve taken “my” Draco and Ginny from “Day by Day” and “Four Weddings & A Funeral” and moved them forward a few years – to a time and place where their paths unexpectedly cross once more and slowly but surely, Ginny discovers that Draco is just what she needs...or is he?
This is the sequel to "Day by Day" but should (I hope!) be perfectly readable without having read my earlier story. "Weddings" picks up where "Day by Day" left off and follows the mishaps, adventures, fun times and dreadful times had by all the main characters from "Day by Day". Happy ending eventually of course!
This story begins when Harry, Ron and Hermione move into a house together and Harry starts to “notice” Hermione and Hermione starts to “notice” Harry. Naturally, the path from URST to RST is not terribly smooth (what fun would that be?). I’m sure you know what that stands for, yes? If not, come in, read and you will find out… *Janie grins cheekily*
Take one Hermione Granger (slight control freak) and one Harry Potter (NOT a control freak), put them in the Burning Broomstick (wizard pub), give Harry a few too many Butterbeers and see what happens...
This is a humorous one-shot in which Harry is caught kissing someone and the consequences that followed...
Not a lot of time on your hands? Into Harry/Hermione? Feel like a nice, totally fluffy, uplifting one-shot? Then I’ve got just the story for you… Their excuse was…they didn’t want to bother with relationships just yet - they were too busy with their careers. Their intention was…to help each other out and prevent annoying attentions from others getting in the way. The consequences were…inevitable.
Their years at Hogwarts are behind them, Hermione and Ron are living (separately!) in London and Harry has joined them after being at Hogwarts for some time following his defeat of Voldemort. Ron is now happily going out with Luna and Ginny is in love with Dean Thomas who is very supportive of her and her career. Career wise things look up for her when she's asked to interview a newly released inmate of Azkaban, Draco Malfoy. Harry and Hermione struggle with a friendship that is doomed to romance... A fun fic with a little touch of drama/angst and a tiny twist of mystery. The sequel to this story is "Four Weddings & A Funeral".
As we all now know, Hermione is older than both Ron and Harry. She turns seventeen before either of her friends and seventeen, of course, is the coming-of-age birthday in the wizarding world – a special birthday. So, what does Hermione want for her special birthday? What does she do to celebrate it and what does she get? Read and you’ll see! Excerpt: "Harry and Ron looked at each other, then at Hermione’s retreating back. ‘She winked at us,’ said Ron. ‘She did,’ said Harry, watching Hermione’s hair swinging gently across her back as she walked. Ron swallowed audibly. ‘She said we could do it.’ ‘She did,’ said Harry, his eyes drifting to the enticing curve of her waist and her hips and what he liked to think of as her delicious derriere. ‘We have two weeks.' ‘We do,’ said Harry, hypnotised by the smooth, fluid movement of her legs which were encased in tight fitting blue jeans. ‘Bloody hell!’ exclaimed Ron. ‘Yep,’ sighed Harry. Ron waved his hand in front of Harry’s eyes: no response. He rolled his eyes. Merlin help me if I ever fall in love and become so pathetic! he thought disgustedly.
He felt the pain of remembering Hermione looking enchanted by this blue-eyed man with dark brown hair that did precisely what it was told, unlike his own wretchedly unruly mop. And in the early hours of the New Year as he lay in bed, restless and inexplicably angry and anxious he knew. He was jealous. And he was jealous because he loved her. He wanted her to look at him the way she’d looked at that man. He wanted her. And so his residence in hell began. I'm sure you all know what Harry wants - but does he get it?
Since I'm such a nice, sympathetic person, I couldn't leave Harry and Hermione "hanging" - nor you, dear readers! So, here's the epilogue to put everyone out of their misery.
Harry manages to ask Hermione a question. Hermione is surprised. Then Harry's surprised. ’Anyway,’ continued Ron, ‘she said “yes” straight away so I’m all set! How about you two?’ he asked as he turned to look at them, leaning forward a little to see past Harry. ‘Going to the Ball with someone special, Hermione?’ he inquired with a cheeky grin. Hermione suddenly looked down at her hands as she twisted them in her lap and Ron could swear she was actually blushing for crying out loud! Then it's Ron's turn to be surprised. Guess who's taking Hermione to the ball? Luckily not the first boy who asked her...
Harry’s sure Hermione’s been deliberately avoiding the Trio’s usual Friday night drinks at The Burning Broomstick. But why? He finally convinces her to join them one night and Hermione ends up having way too many drinks in an effort to drown her sorrows. Will she remember what she said and what happened? Will she want to? Oh, what a night!
This is set during the holidays at the end of Harry & Hermione’s sixth year. "Hermione was not going to let go of him, he knew. He’d have to suffer the wonderful torture of having her arm around him, the feel of her pressed against him, his arm slung across her shoulder, her hair tickling his face…" A short and fluffy H/Hr fic to brighten your day!
This is the first fanfic I ever wrote...and I think it shows. It's a short one-shot set in Harry and Hermione's final year at Hogwarts. Hermione needs to know if Harry has any feelings for her and so she takes the initiative. If I wrote this now it would be somewhat different, I think. Still, if you do get around to reading it, please feel free to review!
