A bead of sweat dripped down the boy’s face as he fought the searing pain in his now legendary scar. The invisible ropes that bound him seemed to tighten as he struggled against them. Shrill laughter pierced through the room from the creature opposite him. This is no man, Harry thought to himself. Hell itself would have spat him back out…if it hadn’t already…

Spitfire is a small cookie from my new story with has no name at this point, but is being called "the Inferno Project" A small bit of the background story: Too many lives were lost during the final days of the war with Voldemort. People Harry truly loved and couldn’t live without in his life. For two years he’s searched for a way to find them—to bring them back across the veil to the land of the living again, or he will die trying.
Um. *Points to title.* I think that pretty much sums up this entire fic. Plotless, pointless, and, thankfully, fairly short. But there's the fluff. Oh, yes, there is the fluff. Hermione's stressed out over her N.E.W.T.'s, whatever can Harry do to make it better?

Voldemort raised his wand, the beginning of the killing curse on his lips and he froze at the sight in front of him. A blue light had encircled the two teenagers laying on the floor. Coming out of his stupor, Voldemort once more raised his wand and yelled "Avada Kedavra!" The jet of green light once again sailed towards Hermione, and to everyone's surprise, deflected off of the blue shield. "WHAT?! How is that possible? There is no protection against the killing curse!" screamed Voldemort. Want to know what happens? Please R&R!
